This is my forst story on this app, please be kind. This is a sasusaku story, there may be other ships but it will mainly focus on sasusaku. The story itself will semi follow the canon plot, with a few changes mostly to sakura's attitude towards sasuke ( only for the first few chapters) and also towards sakuras abilities later on . "Naruto!" Sakura yelled for him, but there was no answer. She was growing increasingly worried. It had been hours since they ran off to finish their battle with one another, and hours of non-stop ground shaking. But then it all just stopped.

"Kakashi-sensei, I'm going to look for Naruto. He could be hurt." Her voice is shaky; the last time it had gone this quiet during a battle, Naruto was on the brink of death. "I will summon Katsuyu to make sure you are okay while I am gone."

"Lady Sakura, what can I do for you?" Katsuyu spoke.

" Please disperse, I need one of you with me and one to stay with Kakashi-sensei."

"Of course."

After an hour of searching, she finally found them in the Valley of the End. She sprinted towards them, in pure shock at seeing the state they were in. They were bleeding out, missing an arm each, and had puncture wounds all over themselves.

" Sakura-chan, you didn't have to come here, ya know." Naruto is as loud as ever, even on the brink of death.

Sasuke starts, " Sakura i-"

" No. You be quiet, I have to focus." Shes angry, and righfully so. He knows he hurt her, and as hes finally come to his senses he realizes that shes only ever cared for him.

" Im sorry sakura. For everything." He says

She doesnt cry, nor does she react immediately. She just sits there and says " Its about damn time you fool."

About an hour later Shizune, and other medical staff came and got the three of them and took them back to the encampments they had set up.

3 Years later..

" SAKURA-CHANNNN!!!" Naruto runs full force into her office at the hospital. And even though she hates him doing that, she always know he brings good news when he does.

" Naruto! Would you hush! You're going to wake all the paitents that need rest. What is it that you need?"

" Kakashi wants to have dinner tonight. And hes paying! dattebayo!"

" Oh, Im sorry but I cant. I have many things to do here. as much as id love a night out." She knew he would insist on it, bu tmaybe for just today he wouldnt.

" Itll be okay, the hospital has you all the time! Come on! Lets go for dinner!"

" I can't right now, I have patients that need me and two surgerys scheduled. I will under no circumstances leave them. "

" Fine then! No ramen for you." He said this as if she loved ramen as much as he did. Spoiler, She doesn't.

" I'm pretty sure that you're going to get some form of ramen cancer if you don't stop only eating ramen 24/7. And I will under no circumstances heal you if you do, I've told you thousands of times you need to start eating properly! You need a balanced meal with fruits, veggies, wheat, and a protein to live!"

"No, you're wrong!"

" I genuinely cannot believe you just told a doctor that she is wrong about your health. You get out right now before I slap you!"

Did he seriously just do that? Ugh! He'll see one day when hes sick from that stupid ramen!

It was around 9pm when Sakura got home, she was eager to clean herself off, she had been at the hospital for 48 hours with no break, so that meant no time to shower.

As she turned onto her street her exitment grew. She eagerly rummaged through her purse for her keys, and she realized she didnt have them. Crap did I seriously forget my keys? I hope theres still a spare under my planter. Wait. She felt somthing strange in her house. Who is that?

She felt 3 chakra signatures in her house. One was obviously Naruto, based on the loudness coming from in her house. But the others she wasent sure of. She opened her door to see Naruto making a mess of her kitchen, Sai rummaging through her scrolls and sasuke... WAIT SASUKE??

" Ugly, before you say anything, Naruto did it." Obviously!

" Naruto, when I gave you a key to my house, it was for emergencys. NOT FOR PARTIES."

" Sorry Sakura-chan! But look whos here!" How long has he been here for? whats he doing in my house?

" I can see him Naruto. Welcome back Sasuke."

Per usual he replied with a grunt "Hn."

He could atleast give me more than a grunt when speaking to me in MY house.

" Well Im sorry if you all came here to be with me, however I haven't been home in over 48 hours and I would much appreciate a shower and time alone. "

And after 30 minuets of Narutos whining, she was finally alone, about to put all the stuff Naruto and sai moved back in its proper place. Until there was a knock at the door.

She began to go over to it and tripped on all sorts of things they had taken out. BANG BANG

Shit! " Ouch!! oh my god naruto!" Fuck I cant beilve I tripped over that.

From the outside it sounded like sakura was in trouble, so He rushed in.

" Are you okay?"

He lent her his hand and helped her to the couch, sitting her down as gently as possible and the sitting next to her.

" Yep I'll be fine, Naruto left out one of my metal stools and I tripped. My ankle is sprained. " Why is he here?

" I see. Do you need anything for it? " He almost sounds calm.

" Uhm no I dont think so, I just have to heal it. " Hes so close.

" Hn. I told them not to mess with your stuff, but the dobe told me I wouldnt know if it was okay or not."

" Well you have my full permission to kick their butts if they do that again! They know i dont like it when they go through my stuff."

" Sa-ku-ra.." Why does he have to say it like that. Why cant he just pretend he doesnt care like he used to.

" Uh, yes sasuke?"

" Tomorrow Naruto is having a get together for my return. Id like you to come. " Why wouldn't I want you there?

"You want me there..? What time, and how should I dress?"

" Aa, I would like you there. You can dress however you'd like. The dobe said it'll be at a bar at 7." He got up off the couch and headed for the door, waiting for a response.

" I'll be there, Goodnight Sasuke."
