Ace's pov

I and the others were waiting outside the infirmary, after sending Xenon inside to check on Mai.

"How did you find out that their parents abandoned them, Ace-senpai?" Trigger asked me as he looked at me.

Well time for me to explain to them how I found out that my friends abandoned them.

"Well I found out when Zett took an unconscious Mai, to my house. I was surprised to see her with bruises on her face, so I asked Zett what has happened and he told me that their parents abandoned them after beating Mai-chan." I explained to them slowly, I see father and mother getting mad at the twin's so called parents.

"You mean that they were abused by their own parents, Ace?!" Ultraman-Ni-san asked me with an angry face.

I nod my head at him to tell him that he was right. I saw Ginga punch the wall, I know he also figured it out when he went to our house when Mai and Zett were younger.

"I should have known it was their parents who did that, because when I asked Zett why Mai had so many bruises one time in our play date, I saw Zett get pale." Ginga told us. I can't blame him for being worried about his two childhood friends.

"Ginga..." Victory said worried about her crush, I saw him shake his head and smiled softly at her to not make her worry.

"Don't blame yourself old friend... We didn't tell you because we knew you were going to react like this, Ginga." Zett said with a sad smile on his face while putting a supportive hand on his shoulder.

I also put my hand on Zett's shoulder giving him my support as his godfather.

"Now do you understand why Ace-nii and grandad have been protecting me and Née-san, everyone?" Zett asked everyone while smiling sadly, knowing that the truth of their past was discovered.

"Were you also abused Zett-nii-san?" Taiga asked Zett who nods his head in affirmative.

"Yes, I was also abused but Née-San sometimes took the abuse that meant for me, on herself." Zett said smiling sadly towards Taiga.

Ed of Ace's pov

Everyone was surprised about what Zett told them. That it was Mai who sometimes took the abuse that was meant for Zett on herself.

Taiga's pov

"Zett-Ni-san . You mean?" I asked nervously, I saw my cousin nod his head on affirmative,

"Yes, Taiga." My cousin answered knowing what I wanted to ask him.

"How dare they do that to their own children?!" Cosmos exclaimed while folding her hands.

"It's because they were always abusive with me and Zett, Cosmos-chan." Mai-onee-san said opening the infirmary door with Tiga-senpai supporting her weight.

"Mai-senpai?" Trigger asked her. We saw her nod her head in affirmative.

"Sorry captain, but it looks like Mai couldn't stay in the infirmary for a long time." Xenon-senpai told uncle Ace sheepishly.

I saw uncle Ace shook his head fondly at his stubborn goddaughter.

"Now you understand why I'm always shy around new ultra warriors, everyone?" Mai-onee-san asked us with a soft smile on her face, even though we can see that she is in pain.

I see. Even if she had a very hard and sad past she still smiles for the people she cares for. That's why uncle Ace and grandpa are very protective of her and Zett-nii-San.

"Mai-onee-san..." Zero said with a very sad smile, we saw Mai-one-San shake her head as to tell Zero it was okay. Then she winced because the injury in her shoulder.

"Mai do you want something to drink?" Uncle Jack asked her, knowing how she really didn't want to talk about her and Zett-nii-San's so called parents.

I don't blame her at all, because after what they did to them. What type of parents abuse and harm their own children?

End of Taiga 's pov

Taiga saw that his cousins didn't want to talk about their parents, who can blame them? Taiga and the others saw Mai nod her head at Jack' s suggestion.

Trigger 's pov

I and the others saw Mai-senpai nod her head at Jack-san' s suggestion. I saw Mebius-San clench his hand and grit his teeth, he was very angry. I saw Mai-senpai put her hand on his shoulder again and shook her head at him.

"It's okay, Mebius-san, I and Zett are happy that we got to live with Ace-nii. They know they can't do anything, as long as we stay with him. What our parents don't know is that Ace-nii is grandpa's adopted son. And that makes me and my brother his adopted grandchildren. " She said smiling.

"Hey, are you always like this?" Dark Trigger asked. I saw Carmearra smack him on his head.

"Don't ask her something private, Dark Trigger!" My girlfriend exclaimed while smacking him behind his head. I saw Mai-senpai giggle and shaking her head fondly.

I, Dark Trigger, Camearra and the others saw Tiga-senpai put his hand on on her shoulder as a support. Mai-senpai smiled softly at him,

thankful of his support.
