3 Year Anniversary

Greetings! Long time no see.

On this day, three years ago, I uploaded the first chapter of 'Minecraft: The Fallen' here, on FFN. A lot has changed since then, both in regards to the story itself, my personal life, and even the general state of the world. I imagine a lot of things have changed for you, as well. If not, they probably will at some point, with all the good and the bad that entails. Such is life. As generic as it may sound, the important thing is to look on the bright side!

...

Perhaps I should stop this tangent here; it's starting to sound a little pretentious, which is not my intention...

Anyhow, the fact of the matter is that despite all these shifts, this story is still something I hold near and dear to my heart, regardless of how it's aged. To this day, this is probably the most fun I've had writing something. For that reason, I decided to do something special, by uploading a short prequel. It's titled 'Cheating Death', and it's available both here, and on AO3.

It is centered around two characters that the main story didn't really touch on all that much. Those are the Wither, and Alex's old mentor, the Evoker. Since it's a prequel, you get to see some rather interesting plot points, like how Alex inherited her powers, for instance. I'll just let you find out the rest yourself, if you're interested. Also, unless something crazy happens, this will probably be the final Minecraft story I'll ever write. I think it's safe to say I've covered the majority of what there is to cover about this game, and it was a delight.

That's basically all I wanted to say about that. When it comes to future projects, I apologize, but I really can't promise you much. I am working on a novelization of 'The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening', and even a short adaptation of the original 'Five Nights at Freddy's' game, but I have no idea when those will be ready - assuming I'll get around to finishing them...

That's about it from me. I sincerely wish you the best, reader. Take care!
