A figure in the night.

Bella's pov

"I think I may know why you got teleported in Paris and who did this…..'' said Olivia, worried.

''I am trying to sleep here! Why didn't you wait to tell me tomorrow face to face?''

''Because you are in danger! You have to leave the hotel quick! He knows where you are and…he might be watching you.''

''What are you talking about?'' I said, still a bit sleepy.

''Who is he?" asked Aaron, wide awake.

''The point is he-''

Then the connection got laggy and we stopped hearing what she said. What if it's something bad? I know Olivia only too well and we have to trust her. If she said something is coming, then it is.

''Let's see what's going on with the internet! We have to talk to Olivia!'' I said.

''But it's the middle of the night! People will think we're crazy or something!''

''We have to! Plus, I don't care what they think.''

I grabbed Aaron and we went to the balcony, where I saw someone wearing a black hoodie, who was cutting the wifi wires…. This can't be…

''WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!'' I said, yelling.

I think the whole Paris heard me!

The person jumped to the other balcony when I started recording. I have to get proof. Aaron went after her. Everyone woke up and turned on their lights. They also went to the balcony and some people cheered on Aaron. We don't have connection, so we can't call. The calls don't have anything to do with wifi, I know, but most of us are from other countries and have other numbers. Aaron finally caught the person and unmasked him. Aaron got pale as he saw who it was. I can't see anything… They are really far away, I think 4-5 balconies far.

Aaron let go of the person and came back to me saying:

''Liliana… why would she do this?'' said Aaron.

''LILIANA?! Why did you leave her there?! We have to report her to the police!" I said, concerned and sad.

''We can't! She's our best friend!''

''We have to do what's right!''

But when I wanted to go to Liliana she was already gone. I have recordings, but you can't see who she is. Liliana will probably leave Paris soon so that was it. I won't give up. We will find her with the help of Ladybug and Cat Noir. But what if it's just a coincidence and she isn't the one we were sent here for? We will see, I guess.

Next morning

Bella's pov

We apparently got on the news. The incident was more severe than I thought. Liliana actually came here to kidnap someone, and when she heard talking on the phone she cut the wires so they couldn't warn anybody about her. But why did she want to kidnap someone? I have to find out the truth. Today Olivia will arrive.

When Olivia arrived.

''What did you want to tell us last night, Olivia?''

''Basically, I think Liliana was coming after you, guys.''

''W-what?'' said Aaron, shocked.

''Yes. I knew someone will come.''

''But how did you know?'' said Ladybug.

''Well, every time holders or old holders get teleported somewhere, it is because they have to help with a really important mission, and most of the times the villain is trying to catch them as soon as they get there.''

''So Liliana is the villain?'' I asked.

''Yeah… she is.''

''Then we have to defeat Larisa!" said Cat Noir.

''LILIANA!'' we said, at the same time.

Then we all started laughing. As we were talking, I heard some footsteps. We are in a secret room that nobody knew about, who can it be? I think I only imagined it.

''There's someone outside.'' said Olivia.

Then a person stormed in the room, wearing a purple suit… SHE HAS A MIRACULOUS?!

''Liliana!? That's you?!'' I said.

''Yeah, that's me and I came for revenge.'' She said, angrily.

''Why?! What did I ever do to you?!'' I asked her scared.

Everyone remained silent, they just didn't know what to say…

''Well, Aaron always loved you! You had always had all the attention, the world only revolves around you! I am just a dumb hero who no one cares about!" said Liliana, with tears in her eyes.

''So… let me get this straight. You are… Jealous of me?''

Aaron's pov

That was all Bella needed to say to make Liliana even angrier. Liliana suddenly came closer to Bella and punched her. I feel so scared and don't know what to do.

''Take this!"

''My miraculous!" I said, surprised.

I put it on and transformed. Ladybug and Cat Noir tried to grab Liliana quickly, but she was too agile. She never thought of one thing, we are 5, and she is only one. I floated her up and Ladybug took her miraculous. Liliana was crying, but they were not tears in the real meaning of the word, they were tears of rage.

I never saw someone cry out of rage. We had to do something.

''What happened…? Why am I floating?'' said Liliana, confused.

''What do you EVEN MEAN?!'' yelled Bella.

''And why am I crying?'' said Liliana while wiping her tears.

''DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" said Ladybug.

''Wait, guys! I don't remember anything! What did I do and who are you?'' said Liliana, pointing at Ladybug and Cat Noir.

''I think I know what's going on….'' said Olivia.

''That she's a pathological liar?! We know!" said Bella.

''She's telling the truth…the most dangerous miraculous had this effect on her…'' said Olivia.

We all stayed in silence.

Olivia's pov

''Well, let me tell you the story. There is a miraculous stronger than all of the other ones, but I thought it was long gone, so that's why I had never told you anything about it. Even talking about it can bring its bad power here. Its power is that it takes what's worse out of people and turns them against the ones they love. That's what happened to Liliana...''

''And how are you so sure she's not lying?!" said Bella, still furious after the punch.

''I am not, I swear… and I remember a strange figure told me: 'You can't escape your fears, ever.' And then I got here, floating!'' said Liliana.

''That's the one who has the miraculous now, I think. I and many other holders broke it many times, but it just comes back to life stronger and stronger every time…'' said Olivia.

''That seems like a nightmare.'' said Aaron, who hasn't spoken for a while now.

''What can we do?'' asked Ladybug.

''You and Cat Noir have to stay in Paris and be careful, but Bella, Aaron, Liliana and I have to go back to California. And I don't think Liliana was the real reason Bella and Aaron got teleported to Paris, they were sent to warn you, so be cautious.''

''Yes, we will.'' said Cat Noir.

Right that minute I began searching for the next flight to California. After I found one, I said:

''We have to stay here one more night...''

''But what if the figure comes after us?!'' said Bella.

''We will stay in the same room, different beds so we're safer. You all have to wear your miraculouses so you can transform right away if the figure finds us.''

''Let's get going then…'' said Liliana scared.

''Goodbye, Ladybug and Cat Noir, we wish you luck.'' I said.

''Thanks. I hope you will find your peace one day.'' said Ladybug.

*After we booked the room and made ourselves comfortable*

Liliana's pov

''Bella… you know anything I said isn't true, right?'' I asked.

''I know… but did you really feel those things?"

''I will be honest with you. I did. I know it's selfish. But I am your friend after all, and I am happy for you. You are informed about the miraculouses' power…''

''Yes, I am…''

Right then, we heard someone saying:

''I don't think you can ever escape me.''

Me and Liliana thought it was a dream at first, but is it? Can we defeat this figure and its miraculous? We have to find a plan before it's too late…
