Chapter One: A Mischievous Cheerleader

The Lion Guard was in the midst of a heated battle with the hyenas. Bongo, the mischievous baby baboon and Fuli's best friend, cheered his friends on from a safe distance.

Bunga: "Zuka Zama!" He shouted, as he leaped onto Nne's back, pulling on his ears to steer him into bumping into Tano.

Beshte: "Twende Kiboko!" He bellowed as he charged into two other hyenas with his immense strength.

Fuli, swift and cunning, ran in circles around Cheezi and Chungu, confusing them.

Cheezi: "I'm getting dizzy." He cried.

Chungu: "Me too." He agreed, before Fuli took them both down.

Janja spotted Bongo and began sneaking up from behind. Kion, noticing the danger. "Oh no, Bongo, look behind you!" He yelled.

Bongo turned just in time to see Janja about to catch him and screeched in fear. Kion was about to tackle Janja, but Fuli darted in and tackled him first.

Kion: "Fuli, I could've handled it," He said, slightly annoyed.

Fuli: "I know, but I got it," He replied with a wink at Bongo, eager to impress her friend.

Bongo clapped his hands in delight for Fuli. Kion turned his attention back to Janja. "Alright Janja, I'm going to count to three! And you and your hyenas better run back to the Outlands!" He demanded.

Cheezi: "You can count to three?" He asked, bewildered.

Chungu: "I want to hear it." He added, equally curious.

Kion: "One." He began counting.

Cheezi: "Wow, he's really counting to three." He muttered, still amazed.

Chungu: "What happens when he gets to three?" He wondered, with a touch of fear.

Kion: "Two." He continued.

Janja: "Alright, alright, we're going, we're going." He relented, leading his clan away.

With the hyenas gone, Bongo clapped enthusiastically for the Lion Guard.

Bunga: "Thanks for the applause, Bongo. I really appreciate it." He said with a grin.

Fuli: "Hehe. It seems we have quite the audience for us." She noted.

Kion: "Wow, Bongo really seemed to like it when we take him on missions." He observed.

Ono: "Even though they are sometimes dangerous." He added with a note of caution.

Beshte: "He's such a strong, and brave baboon." He praised.

Fuli: "Yeah, he is." She agreed warmly.

Bongo then hugged every member of the Lion Guard.

Kion: "Alright, let's head back to the lair." He instructed. Bongo climbed onto Fuli's back, playfully tugging on her tail.

Fuli: "Hehe. Oh, Bongo." She laughed.

The Lion Guard walked back to their lair, with Bongo happily joining them.
