Monday afternoon and Lynn Jr was leaning against the wall of Lisa's room with her blow with a sigh; "Doesn't it bother you Lisa... We are practically superheroes now and pretty much honorary members of Lincoln's little group of superhero friends and yet... We haven't actually had any Firestorm action since then... Haven't been invited on any hang outs at their lair and we haven't really gotten closer... I had actually thought us learning was a superhero could actually help us get closer since... It feels silly and we go to high school together but I kind of miss when we did do stuff together but since Metropolis... I think that after Firestorm became a thing; I thought that we would be closer than ever..." Lynn Jr was telling Lisa as she was overlooking a cage with 2 hamsters in it with 1 looking nervous in it.
"My apologises Lynn as I understand your concerns but I am focused on this experiment... I came up with a formula to make someone bolder in pursuing attraction and finding these creatures in a pet store... Wait and see as I feed this shy one with a pellet that I poured a drop of my formula into..." Lisa said using a spoon to drop the pellet in front of the sky hamster who took it and then looked to the other hamster and ran up to it snuggling up its cheek and it was returned.
"That is something..." Lynn Jr then said and then she heard Lincoln sighing and it sounded like he was on his video calls with Clyde. She then went out and noticed that his door was slightly open and went to close it when she heard something.
"Wow Lincoln; Having a beautiful magician girl who is your friend and a beautiful queen your age who is your friend and you can't decide who you like more... What first world problems..." laughed Clyde's voice and Lynn Jr snickered upon hearing that and she could imagine the unamused face that Lincoln had. "But seriously; I wish I could help you with this buddy but this is just something that you have to decide for yourself if you REALLY like one of them and want to actually confess..." Clyde said as Lynn Jr scoffed thinking about it.
Despite the whole bus incident when Lincoln first met Stella; Lincoln was still hopeless in trying to tell Zee that he liked her and it was something of an extremely open secret to all of the Loud family members that still lived in the house. Hell; Pop-Pop and Gran-Gran visited at times and it didn't take long for them to pick up on that within their first visit! If only Lincoln could...
Lynn Jr had an idea and normal for her; she didn't think too hard about whether her idea was a good one and rushed to Lisa. "Lisa; how about some human trials for your experiment as well as help our brother along..." Lynn Jr then said as Lisa looked intrigued.
The next morning and it was time in the Loud House for everyone to get ready for school; Lincoln was lining up the twins, Lisa and Lily for them to go to their schools as they waited at the door and Lynn Jr with her stuff rushed past Lincoln and ''accidentally' tripped and spilt a cup of water on Lincoln's face and got into his mouth. "Sorry Lincoln... But water is good for you and gives you energy..." Lynn Jr then said putting on her best apologetic look and Lisa gave her a look and Lincoln eyed her suspiciously but decided to put them all through the door.
Lincoln had said goodbye to his parents as part of the usual normal routine and started driving them all to their schools in their vans; Lincoln thought about how it would be a normal day at his high school which would lead to his less than normal after school activities but it would otherwise be an average for him day. Zee and Perdita two of the most brilliant girls ever; who he couldn't hold in how he felt about them later! Why was he being afraid again? He decided to make a short detour before going to Metropolis High and stopped at a flower store and came out with 2 big bunches of flowers that he put into his special magician's fedora in his bag.
Lynn Jr was just watching from her seat and had a bit of a smirk as she stayed in her seat and Lincoln came back to take them to school. Soon they arrived and Lincoln ran to the spot where Zee's limo usually dropped her off. Then as the limo arrived and Zee went out and then there was Perdita coming over with her bodyguards.
He had gotten his fedora out and kneeled down to the 2 of them as they went to greet them and then they looked confused at him; Lincoln grinned as a crowd was starting to watch as he then pulled out the bunches of flowers to the two of them. "Zee, Perdita... I can't keep it in any longer... No longer can I stay silent and even if you don't return my feelings of affections... I am in love with you both and I can't decide who I love more but I have to share it!" Lincoln shouted out and there was mutterings as this was being recorded and the magician and the Queen were just speechless.
Their friends had watched as well and were equally silent; "Okay; I remember some stuff from Krypton''s history classes... A lot of it was boring but there was a big clone uprising in Kyrpton's past and... Was Lincoln replaced by a defective clone or something?" Kara remarked stunned.
"Is Lincoln possessed" Diana just asked as Karen and Jessica were trying to find words but Barbara decided to see how it all played out.
"Wow Lincoln; I don't know what to say..." Perdita said once she found her voice and Lincoln took of their hands to kiss.
"Lincoln; are you alright... You are acting more dramatic than that rich brat who thinks that no one notices that his goatee is fake..." Zee asked as the student Oliver Queen was watching and looked aghast before storming off in a huff.
Soon teachers and staff began motioning them all inside.
Lunch came and at the table the Super Friends sat at; they watched as Zee came over with her head down mortified as she was the subjects of whispers and looks from the other students. One of the most popular students but Zee didn't like this particular attention she was getting. She reached the table and pretty much slammed the table with her tray; "Lincoln kept passing love notes to me during the last class... By some miracle I managed to get rid off them before the teacher caught on... Something is up with him today..." Zee then said firmly ready to scream out loud as she had dreamed of Lincoln confessing her love for her and writing her poems but this... This was a nightmare...
"Maybe Cupid hit him with her arrows... I mean we dealt with an almost immortal Viking prince frozen in ice who was cursed by a Norse God so it might be possible..." Kara suggested and they were seriously thinking about that.
"Zee... Are you alright..." Jessica decided to ask as Zee then gave her a look that showed that she was close to losing her mind.
"Just peachy Jess! I mean I have been pushing my feelings towards him back so I could set him up with Perdita and you have been making things harder by interfering and trying to set him and me up and now he pulls this..." Zee then snapped and there was a gasp as Perdita was there with her bodyguards and Zee gulped as the Queen sat down. "How much did you hear..." Zee decided to ask Perdita.
"You were trying to set us both up? I was trying to set you both up..." Perdita whispered as their eyes widened and they took this in and Kara snickered. She was getting looks but sighed and soon there was Lincoln with a big smile to Zee and Perdita as they moved awkwardly to let him sit down and they began to eat.
"Lincoln... How have you been today?" Karen decided to ask to try and get to the bottom of it.
"Just fine Karen; once I got that load off my chest... I can't believe that I was a coward for not saying anything before... I mean they both deserve better than plain old Lincoln..." Lincoln then said as Zee and Perdita then gave him a look at his words. Kara however frowned as she was hearing something and saw Lynn Jr at the corner of the cafeteria on her phone.
"So yeah Lees; it worked... I didn't expect him to do this... I thought that using the whole thing would help him since you know how it is..." Lynn Jr whispered into her phone and there was an exasperated reply from Lisa.
"I specifically told you 3 drops maximum! Now this... Normally I don't care for what's trending and in social media but now the whole of social media in the city is buzzing with the teenage queen in a love triangle with a famous magician's daughter and a seemingly normal boy..." Lisa had said.
"What were you thinking... WERE you thinking?" Jessica was screaming at Lynn Jr outside the schools by the dumpster as as Diana was keeping Lincoln in a bearhug while glaring at Lynn Jr whose back was against the wall with Kara holding her up by the collar and the girls were glaring at her. All but Zee were with them.
"You used a love potion on your brother; I wouldn't do that to get my brother set up with a girl!" Barbara had said as Lynn Jr looked defensive.
"It wasn't a love potion... Lisa said that it only makes him act on the feelings he already had... I thought that it would help him since he was never gonna act on his own..." Lynn Jr tried to defend herself.
"You have certainly done it Lynn; thanks to you your brother pulls this and you know how teenagers can be and how they are gonna react..." Jessica muttered as she then pulled her hair. "I know that I wanted to help out Zee with stopping her from giving up on pursuing Lincoln but this... I hope my sister Sara doesn't think of pulling this for me..." Jessica muttered as she facepalmed.
The school library and Zee was sitting down at a table to get away from the talking and trying to calm down from her annoyance at Lynn and there was Perdita sitting on the other side of her. "You know... Lincoln likes you it seems and... I think you would be a better fit for him as a Queen... How could I compare..." Zee then whispered to her and Perdita was stunned but firmly shook her head.
"Are you kidding; you have been his friend for years and you are so passionate, fashion forward and confident... How could I compare when what I have most going for me is a role I was born into..." Perdita asked as Zee blinked at that. "How do you think Lincoln is going to react when he is back to normal..." Perdita asked as Zee sighed.
"He is going to be mortified... I can't say that I wasn't flattered by his gesture though and hearing him look down on himself... He is cute, fun and a dork but I wouldn't have him any other way..." Zee then answered with a sad sigh that turned into a smile. Perdita nodded wit her own smile.
"I envy all the time you have had with him and he also admitted to not deciding who he liked more and... Him looking down on himself and probably will be scared that we will shun him for this..." Perdita then said as Zee frowned knowing that she would be right.
"I wish that there was a way we both could date him all at once..." Zee then said as Perdita looked like she had an idea and then looked to her.
Lincoln didn't even notice the stares and whispers as he walked out of the entrance door and saw to his surprise his parents were there who were frantic. "Lincoln; we came in the spare car and... We heard what happened and Lisa texted us... How about we take the van's keys and we can have words with your sister on the ride to pick up the rest..." Rita then told him softly and then she and Lynn Sr then glared as they spotted the younger Lynn who gulped. "Lisa said to take this antidote that she had in her room..." Rita then said as Lincoln took an offered bottle of water that he shrugged upon accepting it.
He took off the lid and gulped it down; his smile slowly fell into a look of horror and he looked the students around him who were still muttering. "What... What did I do... What was I thinking..." Lincoln muttered as noticed his friends coming up to him and he then began running away and jumped over the gate.
"Don't worry Mr & Mrs Loud... We will find him... We can get this straightened out..." Zee then assured them coming up along with Perdita who looked concerned.
"Okay... If you are sure... Please make sure he is alright and I assure you that LJ will be dealt with..." Lynn Sr then said as Lynn Jr hesitatingly walked up to them.
