VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ/Author Note: Yo! We got to talk. Listen, this chapter came out okay I think. I've been really busy with school lately and its been harder to write but if I didn't update then this chapter would of been delayed to way later. Listen, there is an author note at the bottom after this chapter is over that I feel you readers need to read to explain a lot after this chapter is done. I need you to read it. I feel that it is very necessary for you to read it and it also has me responding to reviews. It will also cover the way this story is going and such and the meaning behind this arc. Thank you for reading. Please remember to follow, favorite, and review. It greatly helps with my motivation in updating and likewise have a good day!
Chapter 43
It had taken him a full week to reach the fire nation borders. He had loitered in that damp cell for days on end as his robes and lightsaber were stripped from his body. The only thing he could do was hold to the darkness but tether himself to the faint light so he wouldn't barrel out of control.
He knew this was to be expected…even with the taint of the dark side Lord Ruin and his old comrades were hesitant. Yet now it was finally happening. He was here.
The boat creaked along the fire nation harbor as a dark robe was draped over his bare skin. His hands tightened with harsh pieces of rope that barred like barb wire along his wrist. His eyes dragged along the skyline, for the last couple of days this was the first time he had seen the sun.
His head was draped over by a hood as he was forced into a carriage. With the crack of the door being closed they were off, beelining towards where the temple was going to be. After a minute or two his hood was draped off him as he was able to see his surroundings.
Rowan was by his side. Arya sitting on the other seat as Ruin himself peered at Ben. He could feel the slight tingle in his head, the force sensitives still trying to pry deeper within his mind to try and expose the light within him. Possibly even trying to understand what he was doing…
Yet, he remained firm and strong. The darkness was merely a shield. No, a shield was meant to protect and to guard…this was farther than that. It was a double-edged sword, a weapon that would allow him to disguise himself and to hopefully kill the Sith. Yet, on the other side if he steeped deeper than he already has, if he gave himself deeper into the abyss…then he would be fully consumed, and his plans would fail before they could even begin.
His eyes draped over towards Ruin's belt, seeing his second lightsaber along the old Sith Lords belt. The other blade and the lord's personal lightsaber were on the other side. Yet, Ben couldn't give into anger right now…not yet even though it would feed greater into his strength.
So, he turned his attention outside. Peering into the fire nation capitol city as he got a better look at the enemy's home. Still, he wasn't really that impressed. He had lived in and visited many fire nation colonies. He had grown use to those reddish wooden pines or how the buildings loomed with a vibrant fiery elegance.
He watched pairs of children run along the streets, the fire nation and Sith guards maneuvering along there patrols, the hum of music within the early morning air. It felt strange, almost homey. That was when Ben realized that they were not so different. The other three nations and the fire nation, sure their nation had done horrific things, but it was possible that like Ty Lee, they held no idea of the horrors truthfully taking place.
"Pretty nice, isn't it?" Rowan's voice sparked up towards his side. The young Jedi Outcast didn't turn his head to meet his old comrade's gaze. "Me and Arya crashed here a long while ago, when the Sith were still in hiding. But I was shocked by how open the fire nation was to us."
Ruin smirked at his apprentice's words, almost like it appeased him in some way. "Rowan, the fire nation has always lent there hands to the strongest, likewise with the fire lords support the citizens would always strive to support us."
Ben didn't fully pay attention. Still staring outside as he watched that pair of children loom over a Sith Knight. His lightsaber ignited as he playfully used the force to levitate objects for the children's amusement.
He turned his gaze away, peering at his friends as he himself felt along their connection to the force. They were dark siders, and he could feel their taint, they had been here for years, but they held no deterioration of the dark side.
'Right now when they are still suspicious of me. It is a good question, but right now to ask…I must wait and plan my moves. Everything must go right and the tiniest of mistakes can lead to me being discovered, or worse…falling.'
So, he bit his lip, barreled his emotions deeper within himself as he struggled with the brunt of such emotions. His heart hammering along his chest as the horse stopped. The doors opening as the veil was once again tossed along his head.
He didn't need any explanation…he was here, The Sith Temple. Kiara before he killed her mentioned that there were many academies spread throughout the fire nation, but he had a feeling that this was the main one.
He could feel the echo within the force it had created. Untold amounts of great Sith were trained here in these halls. He was led up the stairs as he heard the double doors creak open, the ancient air funneling through his surroundings.
He could feel the ancient power it resonated…it took maybe half an hour but his movements were forced to stop. Then, the covering was thrown off. He could hear the faint bickering of the crowd as they searched upon his face. The mess of emotions they circulated with. Anger, hate, revenge, confusion…fear.
They looked upon him like a monster would. Some of them held great fear and anger towards him but he could poke through the crowd. A sight, that for a second caused his breath to stutter, breaking through for an instant the connection to the dark side he once held.
Children…
There were children here that were slowly being trained to become Sith. He saw a little girl within the crowd. Faint neck length brown hair tied in a neat ponytail, olive skin as she carried a teddy bear alongside her. The faint hilt of a lightsaber along her belt, she had to be eight or nine years old.
The rest were similar. The majority were teenagers like Ben with exceptions of adults. Yet, he felt horrified to learn this. The Sith here, they never did have a choice. Coerced or forced to give up their children to become slaves to the darkness, they didn't have a choice…they didn't know that there was another way!
Ben's fingers tightened as he felt the harsh winds slash along his form. His robes were gone, somewhere that were taken away from him, even his hair tie. He wore a singular set of pants, his muscular scared form for all to see as his tendrils clouded his eyes, likewise his feet shuttled cold spikes along the cold stone platform.
"Lord Ruin…" A voice emerged from behind him. The two others Sith lords displayed for him to see as even he felt their strength…they resonated with power.
Darth Fowl and the Sith lady sat down beside their peer. Staring at him, almost like a prized horse. "You were right, Lord Ruin." The Sith lady spoke, extending her bony hands outwards. "This one, the force almost blazes within him like a malignant storm. I can almost see the Jedi that fell by his blade, carved deep within his soul."
Fowl grunted at the words, but even he knew the truth. "No wonder…Kiara fell." Fowl's eyes shot up, his body rising as Ben felt the air around him tighten. "Kneel…"
"How about you bite me…Sith Spawn." He chuckled out, like hell he was going to kneel to a…
Yet, that was a mistake he shouldn't have made. The force tightened along his body, his knees buckling as they struck along the stone. His mouth unclenched as he felt his force barrier nearly ripped in half.
He had misjudged them all, and it was true…they were true lords of the Sith. Fowl raised his arms, blue sparks of force lightning sprayed from his fingertips as Ben's scream only heightened.
Zapping the Jedi outcast as he crumpled to the floor. His body searing as he quivered, his legs sinking into the base of his chest. His heart hammering, his eyes widened and spazzing out as he had to try and calm himself down. He wanted to lash out, to hurt…to kill. Yet right now it wasn't good…
The power difference between them was immense. It was scary, the weight of the force between the trio of dark lords was something he had never once felt before.
"Much defiance in this one." Fowl uttered, snapping his attention back to his peers. "Are you sure this one has fallen?"
Ruin uttered a small smirk. "Yes, the boy has a history of not following orders or going off on his own way…don't worry he shall surely submit soon." He grabbed Ben. Even though he was quivering on the ground from the tumult of pure force energy he was tossed back on his feet. His eyes in a haze as the only thing that was certain was the beating of his heart.
"You see, Benjamin. There is a big issue with your arrival." He draped his hand over Ben's form. Almost like an old friend about to whisper a joke. "You see, we are at nearly max capacity. There are hundreds that are spread through the academies, and some lose their lives due to our eager members…"
He tossed his hands forward. His eyes locking along the Sith apprentices. "Benjamin, the Last of The Jedi. The one that holds the rank of Watchman needs someone to duel him. Anyone that duels him if he loses will immediately rise two ranks…"
The crowd oohed in response. Their eyes radiating with a dangerous hunger as Ben felt it within the air. They wanted him, they wanted him dead so they could rise through the hierarchy. It was sickening, but…he knew to gain their trust and put an end to this war on his own. He would need to do whatever was possible.
It took a couple of seconds, but he felt the whirl of fabric circulate near him. The wind coursing along his strands of hair as the Dark Jedi peered at him. He was his age. A medium athletic build with pale skin and short messy black hair.
Sith Saber armor gleaned under the orange glow of the lantern lights. On his side held a single bladed lightsaber. "Ah…Rilu." Fowl sparked a smile, a dangerous gleam along his orange eyes as he zoned in on the Sith Apprentice. "Are you the champion?"
As the words left his mouth, his head was already nodded. "Yes, I Rilu challenge the Jedi to a duel."
"You do understand Rilu that if the Jedi best you in the duel you shall not survive. You're nearly a senior at the academy and if you do die…the Jedi shall take your place."
Lord Ruin and Fowl's eyes both widened at the Sith Lady. Almost like she was warning the apprentice to not risk his life on such a gamble. Hell, many of the other apprentices were still thinking about it.
The seniors, the lower masters, the great Sith Knights were still analyzing the situation. They could win it all and gain enormous prestige through the ranks. Yet, this was the Jedi that Lord Ruin had failed to kill, the same one that slaughtered their brethren…even the Dark Lord's star pupil was killed by his hand if the rumors were true.
"So, that is it…"
Ruin draped his hand over the crowd once again. His voice booming as he fixated on the middle of the crowd. "Tomorrow at first light…Rilu and Ben shall duel. If Ben wins, he shall be admitted into the academy as a Sith acolyte, but if he fails you shall join our leagues as either a Sith Marauder or a Juggernaut."
"I accept…"
With those parting words the crowd dispersed. Benjamin being led through the winding labyrinth like halls as he made his way through the ancient decrepit halls. Arya was with him. Her green eyes peering at him as he slowly turned around towards her. "What?" He questioned as she simply nodded.
The door winding open as his eyes got used to the darkness. It was better than what he had to deal with within the ship. It was a small room, reminding him of the room he used to have within the old Jedi temple.
There was a wooden bed, a singular desk and chair. Yet, the room was heavily utilitarian, and he basically viewed it as something that would be needed to be filled by the occupant to feel like home. Yet, as he collided with the bed as he slowly shut his eyes, he knew for a fact that this was not going to be lasting long.
In and out, wait for the proper time…then strike!
So, he did what he could do. He slipped off into sleep letting the whirl of emotions being his shield as the darkness hounded him. Yet, he was the last of the Jedi, and he refused to give into such things.
Ben's fingers were coiled along the scales of his armor. Now he wore the standard of the Sith Dynasty armor, the rigid red scale armor. He had to play the part, but he doubted that such armor would be able to protect him from the true weight of a lightsaber.
He was taken early in the morning into the deeper levels of the temple. Given the armor and told to put it on and the doors would automatically open when they were ready for the battle to commence. After he was set up, the door swung open and cold daft air filtered into the room.
He made his way through the opening. Craning his eyes in all directions to get a good view on his surroundings, it was an arena. A large circular dome entranced him in all directions, he gazed overhead seeing many apprentices and even his old friends staring down at him. Mute and emotionless as they simply watched him fight for his life.
The floor of the arena was comprised of sand. Still, there were minor obstacles, irregularly placed walls and scaffolding that covered the entirety of the arena. He could see his opponent. Already holding his ignited crimson blade as their eyes locked along the other.
It was the way of the Sith…only the strongest can survive and flourish. Still…
"I need a weapon!" Ben's voice hollered. His voice echoing along the confines of the room as he could see Darth Ruin rummage into his cloak. He was expecting his new lightsaber blade, but he didn't see it…
Rather he saw the gloss of bronze catch the gleam of the lantern lights as he raised up his hand. His fingers intertwining along the alloy metal of the hilt as he stared down at his weapon…his old weapon. He remarked on the black accents and copper coloring. Taking a deep breath, as he ignited his old lightsaber.
The rush of power filled his core…the violet blade emerging from the hilt as he stared into it. This once was the blade he used to combat the legions of the dark side, the crystal he once purified from Kiara's dark side impurities.
Yet…his breath ran hollow, his chest rising as he felt it. A cold, biting feeling wrapping around the base of his left arm as he peered down at it. The cracks of purple lightning darting along his fingers as he remembered it.
Ruin…slashing off his left arm and casting him into the freezing rivers of the Northern Water tribe. The harsh and horrific process of forging a new limb out of Sith Alchemy, his teeth sunk into the base of his lip. His heart hammering along his chest, almost like a horrific feeling of ecstasy.
He turned back towards the duelist and then back to Ruin. He knew the reason why Ruin gave him this weapon nearly automatically. Reminding him of what he was, the power difference between them…and how much he truly needed to learn.
Then, the battle commenced, there could only be one. There could only be one that would take the others place and rise to the rank. The violet and crimson blade contrasted along the other. Both boys launching themselves into the fray as they released a flurry of attacks.
Ben tossed himself into the Niman form of lightsaber combat. Sending a balanced proportion of offensive, defensive, and force maneuvers as the opposer utilized Ataru. Rilu flipped over Ben, utilizing the walls and rigids of the room to keep himself into the air, sliding around him as he would curve his blade in odd angles to try and reach Ben.
The violet blade grafted sparks along the crimson as Ben would rush to defend against them. Ben leaped backwards, landing flat on his feet as he launched out a blast of force lightning. Yet, Rilu was too agile. Shifting and moving through the walls as the vibrant strands intermixed and slithered through the cracks but he would merely hold his own with his blade to defend against them.
Ben once again leaped again as he broke through the connection. Landing on a rigid wall, yet Rilu was ready. Lashing out a powerful force push that destroyed a wall. The rigid and half destroyed debris flying towards Ben.
Yet, Ben immersed himself within the force. Lightsaber and duelist becoming one as he shifted through the barrage, letting himself slither past the small pieces of debris. Yet, the big pieces he released a flurry of attacks, a blast of martial might funneling through his lightsaber as he slashed and cleaved through the blocks of stone.
Rilu was ready for him…but likewise Ben was ready as well. Both boys swinging their lightsabers, saber locking by the chest as they both peered into the others eye. The duel was reaching its climax now and the two duelists were going to finish it.
It had to end…here and now. Ben broke through the lock, swapping into his main form of Form V. Letting powerful swings funnel through as Rilu was already tired, reeling from exhaustion from blocking the prior torrents of attacks and his attacks that he funneled with the force.
Yet, Ben wasn't. The dark side was his ally…and he thrived here. Ben's attacks grew slower but stronger, clashing and breaking along the crimson blade as Rilu rushed to defend. Sweat breaking along both boys' brows as…
Rilu swung downwards, but Ben's mechanical arm caught his wrist. The servos tightening as the crowd winched, hearing the bone break as Rilu fell to his knees. His eyes uneven and filled with fear. His body collapsing to the floor as his crimson blade enveloped within his hilt.
Ben let go. Raising the violet blade underneath Rilu's chin as the boy cowered. Yet…
"Excellent, Benjamin. Now finish it."
He could hear Ruin's voice echo. The hilt getting heavier within his hands as he felt the weight travel through him. 'What is this, hesitation?' He questioned within himself; his heart lodged within his throat as he bared his teeth.
His heart hammering along his chest as he knew what had to be done. He couldn't show weakness, he couldn't expose himself but…those faces brightened up once again. They held no other option, there only option was to join the Sith!
Men and woman groomed from childhood to become dark Jedi or to attain the rank of darkness. They knew no other way but…
No, he had a mission to complete. A mission to save the world and to save the world he had to infiltrate the Sith and put an end to these machinations. He turned his gaze back to Rilu, the boy nearly in tears as he held onto his wrist.
"I'm sorry…"
Benjamin slowly muttered, winding his blade back almost like a golf club as he swung. The blade cleaving along Rilu's chest as he fell backwards. His body crumpling to the floor, limp like a deck of cards aimlessly thrown.
He raised his head to the Lords of The Sith. They rose from their seats as they clapped, there orange eyes directed at the Jedi Outcast that had took down one of their students. "Congratulations, Benjamin." Lord Ruin sparked a smile across his face, tossing his hand through the crowd as all eyes were directed towards Ben. "As you can all see…Rilu has fallen. Benjamin, the last of the jedi shall now be taken under our ranks and be trained as a Sith Saber. Look upon him and strive to get even stronger."
Ben smirked, raising his violet blade into the air as the crowd cheered his name. The power of the darkness flourishing his movements as for a second it didn't feel like an act. Yet, there was this strange feeling in his gut, a horrible feeling squirming from deep within.
He knew the reason why he was here and committing to this mission…he knew the end goal and how much of a risk this was, but he was willing to bear such things. Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling that he…
Was making truly a horrible mistake…
As Ben returned to his room. His lightsaber and the Sith Saber armor was seized. Yet, he found two interesting things. His robes and his new lightsaber that he had constructed. After putting them on and attaching the weapon to his belt, he turned around hearing the door creak.
He felt the wave of darkness the Sith Lord funneled through. Ben's lips creaking into a scowl as he felt his lightsaber grow tighter along his hands. Lord Ruin emerging as his dark presence filled his room.
They stared at each for a second until the old lord of the Sith spoke. "It's good for you to be angry…there is truth in one's anger." He tossed out his hand. His eyes zoning on Ben's left arm that worked properly. "I see that the loss of your arm has not dissuaded you. For I may say that this new prosthetic may be of greater use."
Ben remained silent, his heart hammering along his chest as he felt the power of force lightning dart along his fingertips. He wanted him dead, he wanted to cut him down and rip him through with his lightsaber blade.
Yet, he had to be patient…he had to wait. He would kill him, and he would savor in such a victory. His heart hammering along his chest as he would feel that exhilaration, but he needed to still wait. He would learn the secrets of the Sith, take their training and abilities and use it against them.
"I have come to state that you have grown stronger, and your formal training begins tomorrow." He whirled back around. Parting the door once again but stopping. "Change your focusing crystal. It is a synthetic but utilizing a blue blade here shall only bring confusion…"
With those words the door was shut. Lord Ruin emerging back into the hallway as Arya moved to his side. "The boy isn't one of us. He is merely a liar playing pretend…"
"There are Jedi in legends where me and Rowan came from. Ben, he is not such a great man to resist the temptations." Arya answered back.
"For, Ben he just needs time. There must be no escape, the darkness within him calls out and what he shall strive shall be his truth."
With those parting words master and apprentice parted through the hallway. The Jedi Outcast unfamiliar with their words and still believing that his cover has not been broken. Ben's dark robes lagged onto the wooden chair. Taking apart the lightsaber blade as he removed the blue synthetic crystal that he built what felt like forever ago.
Staring at the jagged rectangular shape as he shoved it within his pocket. Taking a deep breath as he began to readjust the Qixoni and the Lignan crystal. Swapping the Qixoni to be his prime focusing crystal as he began to take in the power that chambered through his weapon.
Taking a deep breath, he slunk back into the force, driving the crystals back together and into the base of the hilt. Igniting the weapon as he was filled with vibrant force power. He stared at the dark red blade, the scream of the lightsaber filling his being as his orange eyes began to sink into the glow of the true Sith.
Yet, he felt it. Swiftly turning around as that blood shine blade filled the room. His heart wavering as he saw that blue afterimage peering at him, that strange feeling as he reached out with his false arm. "Aang…" He slowly murmured, almost uncertain as he reached for the blue specter but after the next second it was gone.
Now…he was alone once again. His heart hammering along his chest as he slowly shook his head. Now he was merely a man playing pretend, yet the call of the dark side was strong within Ben. Would he learn the ways of darkness and find an opening to put an end to the Sith? To end this one-hundred-year war before the commit comes.
…or shall he fail and pitch this world in darkness, and use his strength he amounted and put an end to this world?
Author Notes/Very Important
Alright. Thank you for reading this chapter and I hope you enjoyed it. We're up to chapter 43 and I believe we are halfway done with Book 2 at this point. I have read the reviews lately and I feel I need to explain some things. Especially with the characters and Ben in general. Listen, I am going to have to cover this part in two ways. First part will be about Ben's character as a whole and the second part will be me explaining reviews and such.
Listen, I greatly appreciate reviews and stuff. But this common trend of specific parts of the story I need to explain to people. On the very first chapter I explained that Ben will have his good and bad moments. We are on chapter 42 and not even nearly done with book 2. Do you know what that means? That means we have a ton of other chapters that are going to make Ben grow as both a man and a Jedi.
Listen, I get that Ben has been "Whiny" at times but come on. The story doesn't coddle Ben. He's lost his fingers and a whole arm at this point. There are numerous times in which he gets his shit called out for him being whiny or bitching about something. Ben suffers from a lot of issues, it's not just some shit that happened in the Mandalorian wars but numerous other shit in his life that fucked him up.
The abuse of his father, the situation surrounding his birth, his loneliness in the Jedi Order, his hatred towards the Mandalorians, the fall to the Sith, the horrors of war, etc. Benjamin has been through some really serious shit. Yes, I get it that Ben at times can be a douche but that's the point. The whole story is about a fuck up mentally ill warrior coming to terms with his life due to his new friends/family and becoming something far greater. The whole "Sith Academy Arc" which will last a couple more chapters is about Ben realizing that he doesn't have to do things alone and needs to rely on his friends and family, learning to come to terms with his past and moving on with his life.
Ben suffers from real world mental illnesses. PTSD, Relationship obsessive disorder, night terrors, intermittent explosive disorder, as well with a victim complex, etc. Listen, I know it comes off a little whiny but I have to properly depict his issues. That means getting into his head, showing his relapses because Ben can't just randomly be an amazing "Jedi" free of flaws and try to make amends. He's too fucked up for that and I want him to struggle to become a better human being.
He was a child soldier that fought in numerous battles that fucked him up. That's why his mental instability has only gotten worse as times passed especially against the war between the fire nation and the Sith and the whole point of chapter 42/The Reveal would be the build up of his friends finally knowing who he is and finally getting help. But it's a buildup like anything else in a story. This isn't something that I can randomly put in a chapter. In a couple of chapters when him and team avatar are reunited the process of healing will begin and whiny Ben will be gone. But overcoming demons like Ben has never fully goes away, it's a story of a broken person finding a new family and I want to depict the issues with the care such issues need to be discussed within a story.
Part 2/Reviews
WPUrchezem23 - Chapter 15/17: First off, thank you for reviewing and following I greatly appreciate it. Second off, I am not going to rewrite the chapters or the story. We are 43 chapters in and I have school, so that's not going to happen. I suppose you are discussing Chapter 15 in which Haru becomes a Jedi. Listen, it may have been a rush but it is explained that Haru was powerful within the force and was strong. The whole time he was using the force without knowing so, that was proof of his abilities. Likewise, Haru if I recall from that chapter is not coddled and is immediately sent away due to the fact that he was simply a Padawan around that time even though ben and him trained for the whole night. Likewise, you mentioned the dark Jedi that followed after them. Kiara shown up because she has been stalking the avatar with Zhao or other dark jedi, it was explained that she was sent as an assasin. I don't understand the issue of having Kiara show up just like how Zuko/Zhao/Azula do frequently during the show.
On your review for chapter 17. No, I am not going to rewrite the whole story. I am 42 chapters in, and 52 people have followed and thousands have read it. I am not going to rewrite the whole story because one person tells me to. I have written over 260K words for this story and updated frequently at the start of August. I am not going to start over. I do agree with the line breaks, I don't have the feature to do linebreaks on the platform I write with but recently found out you could do it on the site so I've been going through the other chapters and placing linebreaks through the chapter. Also, the part that you said that "they are literally fighting when the black knight dark jedi is chasing ben out of town, just outside of town, that's dumb." That sounds like your issue, it was specifically stated that Ben outran him and hid away. What your stating right here is a stylized suggestion of what you thought would be more appropriate.
Back to Ben, it was legit stated that he was a broken person but what do you think defines a broken person? Did you just think he was merely going to be having a nightmare or two or having little blast of anger or something? No, I based Ben off of real people and there stories of what broken people act like. What do you expect really? That you can toss a child soldier that seen and did some horrible stuff to survive...and then toss him back into that environment and expect everything to be fine. Ben can be a prick, but the only real bad thing he has done in Book 1 is on Chapter 17 with that Mandalorian Soldier. Even then, Ben saw one of the people that fought and killed his brethren, one of the people that was apart of the same organization that murdered his mother and allowed his father to abuse him. He's not going to be cool and is willing to think rationally, that whole scene was not meant to show off Ben killing a Mandalorian but to show how mentally scarring both the Mandalorians and there organization messed up Ben. How he was willing to kill an old man due to the fact that he was one.
The avatar gang. They trust him because Ben shows complete loyalty towards them and there friendship. Ben is a dick but he has come to there aid a number of times and has saved them. They don't care that he killed Kiara or other fire nation soldiers (except Aang) due to the fact that they were some fucked up individuals. Kiara actually captured them, she did what Zuko couldn't and if Ben wasn't there they would've lost there journey. That's why Sokka and Katara don't care about what Ben has done to there enemies. Likewise, Kiara was different, willing to kill them if they stepped out of line, that's why Sokka and Katara never truly cared that she was killed. She wasn't no Zuko or Iroh or even Azula...she was a sadistic person that wanted the glory of killing them, not even the glory of capturing the avatar.
Guest - Chapter 1 April 2: Whiny Ben is gone. Just wait for the Sith Academy Arc to conclude which will last less than five chapters. It will move him forward as a character and put the story back on track. Thanks dude, have a good one!
Drakon45 - Chapter 39: Like what I said before on the above review. It's coming towards a close but Ben needed this time as a character, now you will see him grow but after this arc is concluded and we are back on the main avatar timeline. Thanks for reading and reviewing and have a great day!
Kevito100: Thanks brother, I greatly appreciate it.
E31174: I get what you mean but the Jedi fucked up. Likewise, Ben isn't fully wrong but he isn't fully right. More will be explained and there will be a time in which he does come to terms with his past and his future. Thank you for reading and review, and your right there is a severe lack of content about the Mandalorian Wars and old EU era.
