It was midday in the Mojave Wasteland, but it felt miserable for Izuku Midoriya, aka Courier Six. He'd just helped the Boomers get their plane and was heading back to the NCR base when he accidentally walked past a coyote den and they all decided to go after him.
In his frightened state he popped a turbo and got out his Esher to nuke them into oblivion… but it ended up firing too close. He noticed this just in time thanks to the turbo so he immediately got out 4 super stimpaks to hopefully get enough healing in his system to survive the mini nuke.
As soon as he injected the stimpaks, the nuke went off and his plan succeeded. But the next few minutes could only be described by one word. Pain. Turns out having a mini nuke go off a few feet from you and surviving it is a fate worse than death.
All Izuku was doing was internally screaming. Anyway, a few minutes after the pain started, it suddenly stopped. Izuku opened his eyes only to realize, "Where am I?"
