Chapter 5: The Official First Step

It's been a few weeks since Naruto went to the dungeon and met Hiyori and Aisha, teaming up with them to face and defeat a Floor Boss before bringing them to his inn to rest and relax. A lot of things had been happening to him with all of them good. He joins Hestia's familia, became an owner to a sentient grimoire which is currently training him in the art of magic, received a brand-new car from Rav as a gift, took the girls on an outing and so much more.

As of now, Naruto had been undergoing some serious training in the mountains to prevent any uninvited visitors from coming upon his training grounds. Taking a page from his Bushy Browed friend, Naruto applied gravity seals to his body in order to increase his speed, durability and stamina which would definitely help him in the long run as he doesn't want to rely entirely on his level ups.

He also had his clones work on individual training sessions while few in particular learning magic under Sora's tutelage as she's been given them step by step instructions with one of the first being how to access mana stored within one's core. If one to compare Chakra and Mana; the former would be like water whilst the latter is like air. Sora taught Naruto three Tier 1 elemental spells which were Fire, Thunder and Blizzard. At first it took a while for him and the clones to get it right but they eventually got it down in time. Of course, Naruto had to make sure that none of his clones accidentally set the forest on fire whenever one of his clones was trying out Fire or Thunder which some got dispersed from getting hit by accident. Nonetheless, everything was working smoothly for him as he felt a lot faster and stronger now, plus is also incorporating his newly learnt magic arts into his combat prowess.

From time to time, Naruto would bring Hestia along with the others to come and watch him train albeit they were quite insistent on following him due to their curiosity, plus he wasn't that strongly against it either. It should go without saying that the girls were flabbergasted upon witnessing Naruto's training regimen; running over a hundred laps, running up tree trunks vertically with no hands, moving on water, sparring against clones, jutsu and magic proficiency training, and so much more.

Hiyori and Aisha wanted to assist him in his training which he was more than happy to accept their offer which made the duo happy. They wanted to spar with him as Hiyori was curious about his strength and fighting style after seeing him in action in the dungeon and wanted to see how she would fair against Naruto with the blonde reborn ninja feeling th same way. The same goes for Aisha but she confidently believed they would be victorious against Naruto as they are both of higher levels and stronger than him which Naruto rolled his eyes at her claim but accepted their challenge nonetheless. Not the first time he had been underestimated and it certainly won't be his last, plus this is training for what he would face when he finally goes to the Isekai world.

And so they spared while Hestia stood in the sidelines with Sora and needlessly to say, they were having the time of their life as Hiyori was going for close quarters combat against Naruto while Aisha would provide magic support but occasionally getting into the battle herself while Naruto was grinning in participation as he was enjoying their spars and to make this even interesting, he decided to continually use his gravity seals to limit himself as a way of training. The spar was epic as Naruto was struggling against them due to his gravity seals and their teamwork but was still able to continue while both Hiyori and Aisha are in the same boat despite they having the advantage in numbers, Naruto's tactics and abilities kept catching them off guard as he was making himself very hard to read by them, always forming a pattern of sorts then suddenly changing into another one without warning.

In the end, Naruto emerged victorious despite having still been using his gravity seals to make this fight a bit difficult for him but still won as both Hestia and Sora cheered for him as they were amazed at his performance. While Hiyori was a little bummed out that she lost but she had a blast as she mostly enjoyed their spar nonetheless while Aisha was shocked that she lost despite she and Hiyori are higher levels than him, had the advantage in teamwork and strength and yet they lost.

"Aw, cheer up you two. It was a great spar," said Naruto, receiving a water bottle from Hestia and taking a drink.

"I know, but it still bugs me that I lost," Hiyori complained with a small pout.

"Are you sure that you're not a warrior of this world? The way you fought is highly unusual even for a standard adventurer. Your use of this 'jutsu' has made it quite difficult to deal with, any plan I come up with breaks into pieces when it comes to you and I don't even feel any better that you were fighting us with your body being weighed down," said Aisha, not feeling all too pleased with the end results.

"Yeah, I'm not a soldier. It's just that I've been fighting since I was young and so learnt to be unpredictable and use my skills in ways that my enemies won't expect me to, even do so that it would appear obvious but would actually be hiding my true intentions until the right moment. That's my style, to use anything and everything while being unpredictable," Naruto explained, recalled the battles he had in the past; starting from when he fought Mizuki which kept escalating drastically to the point that he literally fought a goddess of all things.

"Yeah, those were good times…," said Kurama in nostalgia, having enjoyed those moments.

"Is that so? I'll need to take that into factor for the future," said Aisha thoughtfully, realizing that sparring with Naruto could help her grow as a magician and so resolved to challenge him more often.

"I see that you're becoming stronger, Naruto. Your training is really showing improvements," said Hestia, sitting next to him.

"It also helps that we got masculine service as a bonus," said Sora teasingly, making the girls blush at the meaning behind her statement while Naruto felt embarrassed and tugged lightly at his sweat soaked t-shirt.

"Stop that Sora, It's not funny!" Hiyori exclaimed before muttering "I wish there was a way that I can improve myself too while I'm here…,"

Naruto hummed in thought at her words, trying to see just what could she improve herself in. he already knows that she excels in close combat just by sparring with her so what more does she need? Suddenly, he snapped his fingers as an idea came to mind.

"Hey Hiyori-chan, do you remember those movies we watched together?" asked Naruto.

The cat girl brightened up at the question "Yes I do, those guys are so cool with how they fight! My favorite is that Jet Li guy!" she had gotten hooked to those action movies which have a lot of fighting in them. Now that he thought of it, Naruto realized that she emulated a few of those moves during the spar.

"Maybe you could learn a martial arts style while you're here in this world, no doubt it will help you a great deal when you head back," Naruto suggested.

Hiyori started jumping up and down with excitement "Yes yes yes, I'd love to learn them!"

"Someone's excited," Kurama commented.

Naruto turned to Aisha "I don't really know how to help you Aisha-san, since magic doesn't exactly exist around here,"

Aisha waved it off "It's quite alright, I can learn more spells when I return to my world but I believe sparring with you would make for a great substitute until them,"

"Sure thing," said Naruto with a shrug.

After a bit more rest, Naruto resumed his training session which carried on till sunset and got himself cleaned up at a waterfall he had found some time ago before driving everyone back to the inn and had dinner, courtesy of Felicia before turning in for the night.

A week later, Naruto could be seen inside his room and went over to the door of his closet, channeling chakra into the handle which did something before he actually went inside to reveal a room. Apparently, Naruto had applied Fuinjutsu inside the closet to expand it into a large room in order to create a secret armory away from prying eyes. He was currently at the work bench examining the items and gears before packing some into his backpack whist sending others into the inventory.

"…Extra ammo, explosive tags, blank tags and scrolls to apply custom seals, flashlights, compass, zippo lighter, hand axe, flares…I'll put these into the bag while the rest will go into the inventory," said Naruto thoughtfully.

"It baffles me that you're packing the items this way," said Kurama.

"Aisha has made it known that there's nothing like inventory in that world but there are bags and other magic items capable of containing lots of stuff. This way, I can blend in and can pass off me using the Inventory as utilizing summoning magic. I know I'm going to attract attention no matter what but I want to try to reduce the amount when I get there," Naruto explained.

The reason why Naruto was gearing up was because today being the day that he would officially be going to the Isekai world beyond the dungeon. Before today, Naruto had been training alongside Hiyori whom he helped learn some martial arts, namely Karate and Taekwondo which she took to like fish to water. Aisha on the other hand had been sparring a lot with Naruto and gained quite the experience that Naruto had to keep on his toes around her.

While he was still sorting through the things, Naruto thought to run a quick check on his stats and called upon the Status Screen which it appeared before him to read

Satisfied with his current stats thanks to his training as well as dungeon crawling in between, Naruto packed up completely and left the room into the living room where he saw that the girls were already there and prepped up to go.

"Sorry for the delay, had to get set up," said Naruto apologetically.

"It's quite alright, I can see that you all ready to go," said Aisha.

"Yup, even had to add two new firearms into my inventory,"

"Really, what are they?" asked Hiyori curiously.

Naruto smiled mischievously in response "That's a surprise for you and the monsters in the dungeon,"

"Awwww…," the cat girl pouted at being denied.

"Naruto-sama, I've packed enough food for you all. Please do be careful out there," said Felicia as she brought over a large food cooler for Naruto to place inside the Inventory.

"Don't worry, we'll be okay and definitely return to enjoy your cooking like always," said Hestia assuredly.

Hearing this made the maid spirit to smile a bit more as she saw them off into the dungeon, sending a wordless prayer of safety to the gods for them then turning to carry on with her daily chores.

Inside the dungeon, Naruto immediately took charge and began giving out orders "Alright then; Aisha will take the lead of leading us to the surface while I'll be beside her with the both of us taking on the vanguard role for the group, making sure that no monster gets near us. Hestia-chan will be behind us for protection and to make sure she's out of harm's way and Hiyori will be her bodyguard to make sure if the monsters manage to get past us, you'll protect her from being targeted,"

"A rather plausible strategy, I'm willing to go along with it," said Aisha, nodding in approval.

Hiyori nodded eagerly in agreement "Leave it to me, I won't let any monster harm a single hair on Hestia!"

"Thank you, Hiyori. I'll be counting on you," Hestia patted the catgirl's head, making her lean into her hand for more.

The group soon set off with Naruto and Aisha at the lead as they began to make their ascent towards the surface of the dungeon. The blonde reborn ninja was rather giddy with excitement at what he would see when he finally reaches the top but he along with the others would need to deal with the monsters and traps along the way first.

But for some odd reason, they were being attacked by large groups of monsters that were even more aggressive than usual. Naruto and Aisha had to take on Goblins, Vampire Bats, Giant Rats and Undead Skeletons by the droves but were able to handle it thanks to the former's usage of the Shadow Clones to even the numbers and the latter using magic spells designed for crowd control.

"What the heck is with these monsters? It's like they're pissed off about something!" said Naruto as he beheaded a goblin with his Tsumetogi then spun round to shoot down a Vampire Bat which was diving to attack him with his semiautomatic pistol before jumping backwards to catch a small breather.

"I am just as confused, I've never seen such a reaction from any of the dungeons which I had been to before," said Aisha, casting a Lightning Bolt spell to electrify a large number of monsters with plenty more to go.

Seeing that there's still some left, Naruto got very annoyed at this "Alright, I've had enough of this!" he accessed the Equipment Screen and swapped out one of the Taurus PT92 for a new weapon which he now holds in his hand.

Weapon: Micro 9mm [ATK: 15 MAG:0 (ATK Speed increase 20%)]

"When a gun like this drops into your hand, all you gotta do is…," Naruto took aim with a smirk on his face "Spray and Pray!" he pulled down on the trigger to let loose a shower of bullets towards the monsters with none having so much as a chance to defend themselves. By the time he had emptied the entire magazine clip, monster corpses were spread out in front of them before fading into dust and leaving their cores behind to be collected.

Hiyori looked at the new weapon with stars in her eyes "Wow, it's that the new weapon you were telling us about before we left?"

"Yup, the Micro 9mm also affectionately known as the Uzi. Considered a favorite amongst many gangs because of its high rate of fire. It's pretty powerful at midrange and perfect for clearing large batches of enemies in one go. I was holding off on using it but these constant attacks got on my nerves,"

"It's certainly suitable for these situations, I'd suggest that we make haste and leave this dungeon as soon as possible," Aisha suggested.

"My thoughts exactly,"

With that said, the group resumed their trek all the while still being attacked by the monsters much to their irritation but the numbers reduced as they got higher until finally reaching the entrance leading into the dungeon. Naruto gulped nervously upon seeing the light at the end of the passage and could also hear the chattering of people outside, this was the moment he was waiting for…his inner otaku screaming to go out there already and finally see the new world.

"Come on, Naruto! No time to start getting cold feet," Hiyori grabbed Naruto's hand and proceeded to pull him along to the outside, forcing him to squint his eyes against the sunlight.

Once he could see properly, Naruto was absolutely stunned the moment he was graced with the scenery before him. Hiyori grinned and Aisha smiled amusement at the look of awe on the blonde's face which they found ironic as they had that same expression when he brought them to his world.

Hestia stood in front of Naruto and with a bright smile, gestured to the scenery with her arms spread out "Naruto…welcome to Orario; the Labyrinth City!"

Hestia's words were lost to Naruto who continued to look around the city, all he could say is that all those manga artists are barely scratching the surface of how they viewed the other world to be like. The sight of the city before him trumps them by far, judging by the structural designs; it's like he's in the medieval age albeit with a few twists here and there, an immediate eyecatcher was the large tower behind him which he brought into question.

"Hang on, is the dungeon inside the tower?" asked Naruto confusedly.

"Actually in a way yes, the name of the tower is Babel and it acts as a lid to the dungeon which is located in the middle of the city," Hestia explained.

"Okay, that explains a bit," said Naruto but in his mind "I fail to see the logic in building a city around a dungeon instead of away from it in the case that monsters could come out and attack everyone,"

"I suggest you stop bugging yourself about the reasoning of another world, the answer might rot your brain," said Kurama.

"Anyways, let me show you around the city. You did so for me and I want to do the same for you, though I don't really know all of them," said Hestia sheepishly at the last part of her sentence.

Naruto shrugged in response "Sure, I don't mind. Plus, I'll be coming here more often and eventually learn of the other places,"

Hestia brightened up at this "Great, let's go!" she eagerly grabbed his hand and was about to pull him along.

Aisha then spoke up "Hold on for a moment, we need to go to the guild to hand in our monster cores and for Naruto to be registered as an adventurer,"

"Oh yeah, there are certain places that won't let him through if he's not an adventurer," Hiyori spoke up in agreement.

Hestia felt a bit embarrassed for overlooking that matter "Sorry, I forgot about that,"

Naruto waved it off with a smile "No biggie, I'm kinda curious to see how things work in the guild myself,"

"Then let us be off,"

The group set off in direction of where the guild is located, Hestia had been there before when she tried to recruit adventurers into her familia but they refused much to her disappointment, Naruto cheered her up by saying that it was their loss and her gain that she has him now. Which god can brag that their very first member of their familia is from another world? It took everything Hestia to restrain herself from hugging the charming blonde who was also marveling at the sight of the people around, they were straight out of the mangas and he was really tempted to bring out his phone and start taking pictures so he could show them to Yasuko.

They eventually arrived at the Pantheon which is the main headquarters of the Guild according to Hestia with Aisha confirming. They went inside and were greeted by the hustle and bustle inside; adventurers chatting with each other in groups, some of them examining the mission board to see which quest they will be choosing for the day, receptionists at their individual booths, receiving reports and assigning instructions with the adventurers along with other things too much to keep up.

"Oh man, the guys back home will be sooo jealous of me right now," thought Naruto excitedly.

"Why wouldn't they? You're living the dream of every single otaku right now," said Sora in amusement.

"Hurry up and get registered then become stronger so we can face those powerful monsters, I'm curious to see how well they can stand up to my power," said Kurama with a grin, seeing the possibility that the monsters which were in video games being real in this world has him itching for a good fight against them.

"Um, aren't there too many eyes looking at us right now?" asked Hestia, feeling uncomfortable due to the glance aimed at them from the adventurers.

"Considering the fact that Naruto's attire is not helping us blend in but rather making us stand out," Aisha pointed out.

Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly "Sorry about that,"

"Don't be sorry, Naruto. Those clothes make you look cool!" said Hiyori in support.

"Thanks Hiyori-chan,"

They went over to a receptionist booth which was free while Aisha and Hiyori went elsewhere to submit their Monster Crystals and Monster Cores to the other receptionists to trade in for money. As of now, Naruto and Hestia were standing before the booth where a female receptionist welcomed them with a polite smile.

She's a beautiful woman with an hourglass figure, shoulder-length brown black hair while wearing a pair of glasses, the most noticeable trait would be the long pointy ears which practically screamed 'elf' to Naruto as she spoke to him.

"Hello there, my name is Eina Tulle of the Pantheon and I'll be your receptionist for the day," the receptionist introduced herself politely.

Naruto smiled in response "Hi there, I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and she's Hestia-chan. My reason for coming here is to trade in my Monster Crystals and Monster Cores, but my main reason is to register as an adventurer,"

"In that case, the registration fee is five silver coins and I'd like for you to fill in this form here…," Eina presented the aforementioned form along with a quill and ink bottle.

"Okay then," Naruto paid the money and began to look through the form carefully to avoid missing any crucial details and catch loopholes too, last thing he wants is to end up being a slave "Let's see here; name…gender…race…class…familia…," he filled in the required spaces before handing it back to the receptionist.

"Hmm…," Eina read through and frowned upon noticing certain things "I see that you haven't answered certain things like your class and I haven't heard of Tokyo before…,"

"For the first; it's because I'm a bit of an all-rounder as in capable of adapting to things and as for the second…I'm from somewhere far beyond the continent and came here to be an adventurer," Naruto explained, technically not lying on the last part since he's from beyond any continent or rather world for that matter.

"Gotta love half-truths," said Kurama with a grin.

"Especially when you're not lying to begin with," said Sora in agreement.

Eina looked at Naruto with narrowed eyes for any signs of deception and found none, she finds this person to be a rather odd one given by the clothes he wears and his disposition but decided to at least give him the benefit of the doubt for the meantime as she put away the registration form and reached into her booth to bring out a transparent crystal ball placed atop a soft velvet cushion.

"For the last step of the registration, I want you to place your hand on the crystal ball and channel your mana into it which will make change colors and let us know your stats in order to rank you," Eina explained.

"Gotcha, I'll give it a go," Naruto placed his hand on the crystal ball and channeled his mana through it, the crystal ball began to glow and shifted through many colors before stopping on bronze and revealed Naruto's status to Eina whose eyes widened in shock at the information in front of her.

"T-This is…," besides what she saw, anything else was blurred out and can't be read. Eina looks up to Naruto then back to the crystal ball a couple of times as she couldn't make sense of these strange stats of his. This of course left Hestia, Aisha and Hiyori confused on what's going on.

Naruto himself was feeling nervous about her reaction and was wondering why she looked so confused, was there something wrong when he injected his mana into the crystal ball.

"Is there something wrong?" asked Hestia confusedly.

"Are you sure that you wish to be an adventurer?" asked Eina cautiously.

"Yes I do, why?"

"I'm afraid that with your current stats and lack of skills, you should reconsider becoming one until you have strengthened yourself sufficiently and learnt enough skills before going into the dungeon," hearing such a statement from Eina confused Naruto and the others to no end as it conflicts with Naruto's recent accomplishments, even more so Aisha and Hiyori who often sparred and lost to him a few times.

"I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean with that statement, you mean to say that Naruto isn't strong enough to explore the dungeon?" asked Aisha with a small frown.

"Not by himself he cannot. As you recall, we rank the capabilities of the adventurers based on their levels which is also represented by colors as you can see for yourself…," Eina held up a list for the group to see:

"As you can see that the color of the crystal ball is copper which in accordance means that he is to be an F-ranked, making it unsafe for him to venture into the dungeon on his own," Eina explained in a serious tone.

Hiyori wasted no time to protest "Naruto is not weak at all, he's super strong. He even helped us beat a Floor Boss!"

"Helped defeat a Floor Boss, you mean to say that he entered the dungeon while unregistered?!" Eina narrowed her eyes at Naruto who couldn't help but flinch back from the intensity of her stare.

"Naruto did it to save me, I would have died were it not for him!" Hestia spoke up in defense, not liking how he was being treated.

"That even makes it worse, surely you know that the dungeons react strongly to the presence of divine beings whenever they entered it and sent numerous monsters to kill them,"

"That explains what happened when we were making our way to the surface," said Kurama.

"Not to mention why that fake adventurer threw Hestia-chan there in the first place," Naruto added.

"I don't know what you've seen on that crystal ball but I can assure you that Naruto is quite capable and we have even sparred against him but lost a few times," said Aisha.

"Is that so? Show me your Guild Gems," said Eina,

Hiyori and Aisha revealed necklaces with gems attached which were glowing a gray color which meant that they're E-Ranked adventurers and yet are approving of this guy so much? They claim to have fought him together and still lost, is there some sort of secret that they know which she can't seem to see, could that be why certain bits of his information were blurred out because it couldn't be identified? Just who is he?

"Very well then, I shall allow you to register but on the condition that I become your Dungeon Advisor," said Eina.

"A Dungeon Advisor?" asked Naruto confusedly.

Aisha was the one to explain "As the name says, they're someone that offers guidance to their assigned Adventurer on what precautions to be taken before entering based on the Floor which they are allowed to traverse. It would seem that she wants to ensure that allowing you to become an Adventurer is the right choice,"

"I see…," Naruto muttered to himself, recalling how he was assigned missions according to back in the Elemental Nations.

"And yet those missions go out of whack whenever you're involved," Kurama commented, having been witness to every single one of them.

Eina presented a Guild Gem to Naruto with this one being transparent "Apply a drop of blood onto the gem and channel your mana into it. That will form a link and act as your identification,"

"Okay," Naruto did as he was instructed with the Guild Gem changing its color to copper then he wore it around his neck.

"As oof this moment you're registered as an F-Ranked Adventurer, ensure that you report to me before and after you enter the dungeon," said Eina.

Naruto nodded in response "Thanks, I appreciate it,"

"Fine fine, let's get out of here so I can show you around," Hestia grabbed Naruto and pulled him out of the Pantheon with the other two following since their mood were soured a bit due to Eina underestimating Naruto.

Once outside the building, Hestia wasted no time to step up as the group's tour guide and show them around the city…at least the places she knew for now. While touring through the many city districts, Naruto marveled at the bustling life around him as different races of humans and demi-humans went about their own business with some of them throwing glances of curiosity due to his clothing which made him feel like an odd one out but soon got used to it. Hestia showed them the places she knew;

So far, they know of the Pantheon which is where Adventurers go to for anything related to Dungeon exploration, missions, adventuring and many more.

The Hostess of Fertility is a pub where adventurers go to eat, rest and have recreational activities before or after going to the dungeon. Naruto made a note to visit there and try out their food.

Next is the Amphitheatron which is where various games are held like battling powerful monsters captured from the dungeon, battle royales, etc. hearing this caught Naruto and Kurama's interest and wanting to learn more about it later.

There was also the Free Market where Adventurers can sell their goods freely without any form of restrictions, this gave Naruto the idea that he could sell some of the items and treasures he would find inside the dungeon along with a 'potential' project which he has in mind.

While they were moving along, Naruto suddenly stopped walking and glanced around with a small frown on his face which caught the attention of the girls who turned to him in concern with Hiyori being vocal about it.

"Is something wrong, Naruto?" asked Hiyori confusedly.

"…," Naruto didn't say anything at first before finally responding "I thought I felt someone watching us, but it's probably my imagination,"

Hestia hummed in thought "It might be because of your clothes, it's eye-catching after all,"

"The same could be said for the ones from where you come from," Aisha added.

"…I guess you have a point there, so where are we off to next?" asked Naruto.

"I'll be taking you to where I live, follow me," Hestia led the way with the rest following her.

"You sure you're not going to tell them?" asked Kurama with a slight frown.

"Need to make sure it's what I think it is…," Naruto clarified mentally.

"Guess we'll be on standby until then," said Sora while still in her grimoire form.

What Naruto had missed was that TWO pairs were trained on the group with one pair leering at Hestia and the other trained solely on Naruto with a look of interest with the question of it being the good kid or the bad one.

Catching up with the rest, the group finaly arrived at Hestia's home and…um…yeah, it's a very awkward and silent moment with the goddess herself not or rather couldn't say anything to them.

"Hestia-chan, please tell me that this isn't where you live," said Naruto in disbelief.

"…," Hestia felt embarrassed to say anything in response to her first ever member of her Familia.

"This is quite a queer moment," Aisha commented.

"Oooooh," Hiyori mumbled over her words, not wanting to seem rude.

You can't exactly blame them as the building before them which is a church is in every meaning of the word ABANDONED with the holes in the roof, broken windows and more things just as bad inside it.

With a small sigh, Naruto spoke up "We'll come back to this at a later time, is there anywhere you want to go to or someone to see?"

Hestia perked up at that "Oh yes, I want to go and see Hephaestus. She's a good friend of mine and is no doubt worried about me since I was gone for a while,"

With that said, group left the place all too eagerly but didn't notice that Naruto was purposefully lagging behind them, he reached into his pocket and brought out a small scroll which he held behind him only to be swiped by a blur which he didn't seem to mind and soon caught up with the rest.

Along the way, Hestia revealed to them that she and Hephaestus are good friends and the latter was the one who gave her the church to live in when she had no place to stay and had been trying to recruit adventurers into her familia but to no avail then they know the rest. The Hephaestus Familia deal majorly in smithery which makes them well-known throughout the world and owns several branch stores in locations which also includes the Babel tower, renting the 4th to the 8th floors of it.

Due to sensing the divine energy of her friend, Hestia found her at the north west shop and went inside. There they came upon a woman tending to one of the shelves full of weapons; she has red hair reaching to her neck, a slender body as she wears a white button-up shirt with the long sleeves tucked into a pair of brown elbow length gloves, brown pants and a pair of brown knee-high boots. The most noteworthy aspect would be the black eyepatch over her right eye and almost covering the right side of her face.

"Hephaestus!" Hestia called out happily, making the goddess turn towards the voice and her eye widened in shock upon seeing who it is.

"H-Hestia, is that you?" asked Hephaestus unsurely then she was suddenly hugged by her.

"I'm so glad to see you again!"

"Just where in the world have you been? I haven't seen you for weeks and even went to look for you at the church but you weren't there either which started to make me worry. Not even Takemikazuchi knew where you were when I asked him, so start talking!" said Hephaestus, the look in her eye inaudibly saying that 'Tell me the truth or else'

Hestia felt sheepish yet touched at Hephaestus's barely hidden concern "It's a long story but before that, I'd like to introduce you to some people that I'd like for you to meet," she gestured to the trio behind her "They're Aisha Landar, Hiyori Harusaki and my dear Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze!"

"Hello/Hi!/Yo," the trio greeted with Hephaestus responding in kind.

"Okay, now that the greetings are over with…," Hephaestus indicated for Hestia to start explaining herself.

Hestia went to explain how a demon disguised as an adventurer tricked other adventurers into thinking that she's a demoness and had thrown her into the dungeon without anyone to notice or help. At first she thought that she was going to die until she met Naruto who rescued her and kept her safe before returning to the surface with Hiyori and Aisha whom they had met along the way. Hestia chose to leave out any information relating to Naruto's Inn and the Modern World until he gave her the go-ahead later on plus there were safe zones in the dungeon where monsters don't venture into so they're using that piece of information to their advantage.

After hearing all this, Hephaestus was shocked and horrified to learn what had happened to her friend then became angry at herself for not being more vigilant and watchful when she knew full well of her circumstances "And to think that this demon is still at large in the city…,"

Naruto then spoke up "And it's now aware that Hestia-chan is still alive and might try to kill her again,"

The blonde's statement made Hephaestus observe Naruto more closely with curiosity and interest "Really, how do you know that?"

"That would be because I have the ability to sense negative emotions various forms of energy. Right now, I'm sensing both yours and Hestia-chan's divine energy," Naruto explained.

"Is that so? An interesting talent for a supposed F-Rank," said Hephaestus after looking at the Guild Gem hanging from Naruto's neck then she noticed the katana strapped to his waist as well as his guns "Those are some interesting weapons you have there, they're smaller than any crossbow I've ever seen or made,"

Naruto brought out his dual pistols and held them up "These are from my homeland, they're called guns which are capable of firing small pieces of shaped metal at highspeed," then he noticed the look in her eye "Sorry, but I'm not allowed to reveal how they're made,"

Hephaestus waved him off "From one smith to another, I'll understand the need to protect one life's work," then she frowned "Even so, I want to help with this demon problem but I have no clue as where it could be hiding or how to find it,"

"You can leave that to me, I'll be able to handle it," feeling slight urge to showboat a bit, Naruto twirled the pistols in his hands before fluidly placing them back in their holsters.

Hestia puffed up her chest pridefully which made them bounce a bit as she spoke "You can expect no less from my sweet Naruto, he is my very first member of my Familia after all!"

Hephaestus was surprised at first but then smiled fondly and applauded "Then congratulations on finally finding someone to join your Familia, you're now taking your very first step forward,"

"More like he found me…," said Hestia sheepishly since that's technically the case.

Suddenly there was a grumbling sound and everyone looked to see that it was Hiyori who was holding her stomach with cheeks-tinged pink in embarrassment "Hehehehe, kinda didn't have the chance to eat after everything that happened,"

Naruto snapped his fingers "I still have the food cooler that Felicia-chan gave us, hang on a minute while I bring it out," he took off the backpack and reached into it, pretending to look for the cooler while actually accessing his inventory before bringing it out of the bag.

"Impressive, should have guessed that it was a magic bag by its appearance," said Hephaestus "And that's an odd-looking container, is it from your homeland as well,"

"Yup, designed to maintain temperature for either hot or cold foods," Naruto explained as he reached in and brought out smaller containers, Felicia was also considerate to pack in plates and cutlery in addition. He opened the containers and saw what they were before distributing them into bowls, revealing to be curry rice with a side dish of Karaage.

The majority awaited to be served with excitement whilst Hephaestus was understandably skeptical of the bowl of food in her hand since she had never seen or eaten it before. She looked to see Hestia was already eating the food and relishing the taste judging by her reaction.

"If you're not going to eat then I will," said Hestia with her mouth full of food.

Hephaestus rolled her eyes in response "You wish, let's find out why you're making such a big deal out of this," she cautiously took a bite and her taste buds were immediately assaulted by the sensation that she almost went into a food coma "T-This is…but how?"

Hestia smirked "Oh ho? Never thought I would see you act this way over something that's not a weapon,"

"Sh-Shut up, this just took me surprise!"

"So you say, can't blame you though an-hey what are you doing!?" Hestia saw that Hephaestus was holding an empty bowl to Naruto.

"Striking while the iron is hot, don't know when I would be able to eat something like this again," said Hephaestus as a matter-of-factly.

"Oh no you don't!"

"Wow…," Hiyori muttered, looking at the goddesses fight over food.

"This certainly smudges one's perceived image of divine beings," Aisha commented with a quirked eyebrow.

"I don't really know how to react to this," Naruto was sweatdropping at all this while Kurama and Sora were laughing their heads off on what could be described as 'divine comedy'.

While they were fighting over the food, Naruto began to think about what had happened back at the guild and was wondering why Eina reacted that way and what she meant by lack of skills which wasn't making any sense. Suddenly a notification screen appeared in front of him with a message.

"That explains a lot, only those that I truly trust will be able to see my full stats," thought Naruto, finding it rather convenient.

After their lunch and slight mishap, the day was coming to an end, Hiyori and Aisha planned to find lodgings in an inn while Naruto would stay with Hestia at the church with the latter feeling embarrassed and admittedly uncomfortable given that her room at the Spiraling Leaf inn is way better compared to this one. When the duo returned to the abandoned church, Hestia was stunned speechless at what she saw.

"W-W-W-What happened here?!" asked Hestia in disbelief.

The reason for her question be because the church had undergone some serious changes; the roof was repaired, the weeds growing around were removed, the windows were replaced amongst many other improvements.

Naruto answered cheerfully "While we went to visit your friend, I had my shadow clones buy materials from the market area and repair the church. It's not a 100% yet, but it's much better than before," his clones made sure to disguise themselves by basing the appearances on the NPC from the video games the original plays to avoid rousing that much suspicion. Next thing he knew was that Hestia suddenly hugged tightly and he could hear sniffling from her "What's wrong?"

Hestia looked up to him with teary eyes "Why are you so nice, Naruto? This is too much,"

"Come on Hestia-chan, this is basically our home too. It would make sense that it is treated with the respect it deserves. Just you wait, we'll climb to the top and prove that the Hestia Familia is the best in the world!"

"Naruto…," Hestia was taken aback by Naruto's burning determination and couldn't help but be overwhelmed "You're right, Hephaestus said that I've taken the first step forward so I'm going to keep moving and never stop till we've caught up with the others and blast past them to the top!"

Naruto grinned happily "You can bet that I'll help you reach that goal, and that's a promise dattebayo!"

"Dattebayo? What does that mean?" asked Hestia curiously.

Naruto looked away in embarrassment "That was…a verbal tick of mine. It comes out whenever I get excited,"

"Awww, that's so cute,"

"N-No it's not,"

Afterwards, they went inside for Hestia to see that Naruto had his clones really cleaned up the place that it can be reused as a church at anytime but the blonde has plans to renovate more to their needs. They went down to the basement where she normally sleeps and saw that it had been refurbished to more livable status which includes a brand-new bed for her to sleep in, the goddess just couldn't stop feeling so touched by Naruto's kindness and felt ever more determined to help him in any way.

"You know, Naruto. I haven't checked your status after all this time," Hestia pointed out.

Naruto quirked an eyebrow in response "Really, I thought you did when we formed the contract that night?"

"Oh that time, I was so excited to finally have someone join my familia that I…forgot,"

"Oh…,"

"Silly goddess," Kurama commented before being shushed by Naruto.

"Well, we can do it now if you want,"

"Okay, I need you to take off your shirt and lay on your stomach while on the bed," Hestia instructed.

"Um alright," Naruto hesitantly took off his jacket and shirt, revealing his bare chest as he went to lay down on the bed. Suddenly, he shivered upon feeling Hestia sit on his back which made him feel very nervous "H-Hestia-chan…?"

"Hold still, I don't want to make any mistakes with the check," said Hestia, trying not to gulp at the close view of Naruto's body.

Snapping back into focus, Hestia used a needle to prick her finger enough for a drop of blood to fall onto Naruto's back which caused the black glyph symbols to glow brightly then unknown numbers and letters appeared before Hestia who appeared to be able to read them. Hestia started to read the information and was stunned at what she was seeing.

"Recarnated…Child of Prophecy…Sage of Peace…Chakra…Naruto, what's all this about?" asked Hestia in confusion.

Naruto sighed "It doesn't surprise me that you would be able to see it,"

"What do you mean?"

"When Eina-san checked my stats, she couldn't see all of it which was why she reacted that way. It's such that only those whom I give my consent to or truly trust can see all of my stats and you're the latter Hestia-chan,"

"Really? Thank you!" said Hestia happily "But what's this about you being reincarnated and all of those titles?"

"How about you climb off my back and I'll tell you my story?"

"Okay,"

Once they were seated on the bed with Naruto putting a shirt back on much to Hestia's hidden disappointment then he proceeded to tell her about himself.

"You see before being reborn in Japan, I was born in a world where I was a ninja, warriors capable of feats that could defy the very laws of nature both good and bad. Things like dungeons, levels and those things didn't exist there, instead there were five major ninja villages with minor ones scattered all over the Elemental Nations but you shouldn't underestimate them else you pay the price. Over there, wars of varying scales were a constant and one wouldn't know when they would meet their end until it was too late,"

"Oh, does it have something to do with those titles of yours?" asked Hestia, wanting to hear more about his past life.

"That they do, let's start at the beginning…,"

Naruto told his story from the day of his birth, his childhood, the adventures he had, his teammates, the hardships he went through all the way to the Fourth Ninja War where so much was at stake and lost several precious comrades because of the war and quite literally fought a goddess and managed to come out victorious much to Hestia's shock at the feat that he managed to accomplish. But she was greatly saddened when he told her of his final duel against Sasuke with the two of them dying as a result.

"…that was when I was reborn in Japan with my memories sealed away until I came into ownership of the Spiraling Leaf and reawakened into my true self," Naruto finished his story.

"It really was amazing, but I can't help feel that what happened to you was unfair. You went through so much pain and struggle but was able to help so many people and even bring peace to a war-torn world but you died before enjoying that very peace you worked so hard to attain, I'm sure that you miss them all," said Hestia sadly, hugging Naruto to comfort him.

Naruto hugged her back "I do miss them and I believe that I'll meet them again but until then; I intend to live my life to the fullest so that the next time I meet them, I'll have lots of stories to tell them,"

"And I'll help you do that,"

"Thanks Hestia-chan,"

"Aren't you going to introduce me to her?" asked Kurama.

"Maybe later, a lot has happened today,"

"Okay then, I'll wait…still pissed about the Uchiha-brat?"

"…can't deny that I bear a grudge for what he did. I was all set for having Hinata-chan as my fiancé after the war with peace in the horizon then that duckbutt had the bright idea to kill the Kages and I so he can control everything by himself just like Indra wanted to do, being more of a brat than Inari before he changed for the better. The end result? The two of us dying and me being denied my true dream of having a family to love. All because that idiot thinks that he's the only one suffering in the whole wide world," Naruto ranted a bit.

"Yikes, and here I thought you were saintly and all that," said Sora, surprised to see Naruto being so angry.

"Even saints have a limit to be able to tolerate certain things. Can we not talk about it anymore? Neither of us wants to bring up memories that can instantly kill this happy mood,"

"Sorry about that, you're not the only one pissed about it,"

"Thanks bud,"

Sometime around midnight, a dark human-shaped figure wearing a hooded cloak approached the church with ill intent all the while glaring at the building with utmost hatred within his glowing red eyes.

"Damn goddess, I don't know how you survived in that dungeon and came back. But this time I'm gonna make sure that you die!" said the unknown person.

It turns out that this was the demon who was responsible for Hestia being thrown into the dungeon while disguised as an adventurer and having deceived the humans to performing the act for him while ensuring that the other gods weren't aware of his plan. Imagine his surprise upon seeing the very goddess who was supposed to be dead, alive and well in company of adventurers with one of them dressed oddly. Realizing that his plan had failed aggravated the demon as he carefully followed them around whilst coming up with a plan to kill the goddess and this time doing so with his own bare hands.

The disguised demon carefully opened the door with a slight creak, making sure not to awaken the sleeping goddess and was stealthily making his way towards the basement. He was halfway across the halfway when suddenly, strange symbols lit up brightly on the floor underneath the demon's feet as chains made of blue energy shot out and wrapped around his wrists and feet, completely immobilizing him.

"What the hell? What is this magic!?" the demon yelled in shock as he struggled to break but for some reason, he couldn't access his demonic energy.

"Hey hey, keep it down will ya? People are trying to sleep," a voice spoke up, followed by echoing footsteps as someone stepped out from the shadows, revealing themselves to be Naruto playing with a combat knife by skillfully juggling it with one hand.

The demon's eyes widened upon recognizing him "You?!"

"Shouldn't be surprised that you know me since you've been following us around all day,"

"Wh-What are you talking about? Release me from this or I'll report you to the guild for supporting a demon!"

Naruto snorted at this "So it takes a demon to know a demon, am I right?"

The demon stiffened at the statement "What do you mean by that?"

"Playing the dumb card huh? Then allow me to play mine," Naruto suddenly flicked something out of his hand which whizzed through the air and struck the demon in the shoulder, revealing to be a needle glowing with blue energy.

Suddenly the blue energy seeped into the demon's body, causing him to cry out in pain as it forcefully undid his disguise and revealing his true form which was his hair turning purple, his skin color becoming ash-grey, his demon wings flapping about which several more chains appeared to bind them, and a pair of horns protruding from his forehead.

"What did you do to me!?" the demon demanded in a deeper voice from before.

"I simply injected my chakra into your body which prioritized it as a threat and so undid your magic in order to combat it. No different from how a human's immune system would combat any foreign entity that intrudes the body," Naruto explained.

The demon tried to maneuver out of the situation "You turned me into a demon!"

Naruto rolled his eyes in mild annoyance "*Sigh* still playing the dumb card? Haven't you realized by now that it's not working for you? Not when I can clearly sense the demonic energy coursing through your body and your negative emotions,"

"Wh-Wha…?!"

"That's right, I know full well that you're a demon, that you're trying to kill Hestia-chan and won't stop until you succeed," Naruto gripped the combat knife with a glare "I won't let you do that, not while I'm here to stop you,"

"Just why are you getting in my way?! My lord wants these gods gone and you're impeding my mission!" said the demon angrily.

"I could care less what your master wants. As far as I'm concerned, the Hestia Familia is under my protection from anything that threatens it and you fall into that category. By the way, I'm gonna need something from you,"

"What do you mean by th-Argh!" the demon cried out in pain as Naruto suddenly moved in a blur then reappeared where he stood previously with something in his hands which were a pair of cut horns, revealing two stumps on the demon's forehead "M-My horns!"

"I'll need proof that I killed you , it's the way of an adventurer after all," Naruto put the knife away and brought out a pistol "Any last words?"

"Damn you, damn you all! My lord will destroy all of you and rule the lands as he sees fi-,"

*BANG*

A gunshot echoed throughout the hall as Naruto stood there with a bored look on his face with the smoke coming out of the muzzle of the pistol while the demon stood there silently with both eyes and mouth wide open, and a hole right through the middle of his forehead.

"Talk about cliché…," Naruto muttered lowly.

*BANG*

There was another shot and this time at the chest and striking the demon's heart, making it fall to the ground with a thud.

"I don't know demon anatomy so I had to make sure," said Naruto, taking out a scroll and working on sealing the body inside to be taken to Hephaestus then the guild tomorrow.

"It's a good thing you prepared beforehand, things might have gotten noisy," said Sora.

"Which was why I had my clones install the Soundproof seal along with the Entrapment Seal while they were repairing the church in preparation for when he tried to sneak in here and wanting to cause a ruckus," Naruto explained, finishing the sealing then rolling up the scroll to place inside his jacket "Now to get some sleep and see what happens in the morning,"

"Sure, but all this talk about a demon boss has definitely caught my interest," said Kurama with a smirk.

"Of course it would, but save it for later. It's been a long day," thought Naruto as he headed back to the basement to sleep on the couch.

Elsewhere in a dark room, a woman with long silver hair, skin whiter than snow and wearing sensual clothes which exposes most of her stomach and breasts, two flowerlike ornaments in her hair.

"That child…his hair shining like the golden sun…his eyes far bluer than the ocean itself…and his soul…," the woman's body shuddered at the memory "Such whiteness…such purity…so gentle and kind, yet ready to lash out with judgement…and that crimson red soul…such fury and yet nestling tamely within. Ahhhh, I want to know more…so much more!"

This is Hussbek online with the latest chapter, Naruto had been undergoing serious training and emulating some of Rock Lee's methods whilst learning magic from Sora and managing to learn the Tier 1 of three elemental spells. He also held sparring sessions with Aisha and Hiyori, even helping the latter learn some martial arts from his world to help increase her arsenal of skills.

Soon enough, the time had come for Naruto to finally go into the Isekai World beyond the dungeon with the others coming along. However, things went weird during their ventures as more monsters were attacking the group aggressively for some reason but they were able to handle them and arrived at the surface where Naruto was graced with a sight which he had only seen in video games, manga and anime.

Afterwards they went to the guild to turn in their items and for Naruto be registered but the latter had a few hiccups due to the receptionist not seeing his entire stats and was underestimating him but it was later revealed that the Isekai System was preventing Naruto's complete status from being viewed without his permission and only those he trusts can see it. Later on, they toured the place and reunited with one of Hestia's friends and fellow goddess Hephaestus who had been looking for her since her disappearance and learnt of the cause.

Afterwards, Hestia updated Naruto's Status and granted him a Falna blessing but was shocked upon seeing his true stats and titles which led to Naruto revealing his True Origins to her and further deepening their bond. Later that night, the demon responsible for Hestia being thrown into the dungeon tried to sneak inside the church to kill her but was intercepted by Naruto who had been waiting to deal with him and did so with great effectiveness. However, it would appear that Naruto has gained the attention of someone which might end up being a good or bad thing.

As you can see, Naruto has officially arrived at Orario and yes right before the first season of the Danmachi so certain things will occur but with some changes here and there before he ventures beyond the city to other places. As a reminder, there will other dungeons out there, in other words the one in Orario can be viewed as a Major Dungeon and other ones being Minor Dungeons, Hidden Dungeons, Ancient Dungeons, Natural Dungeons, Artificial Dungeons and many others. I also researched the ranking system via the Isekai Mangas and Manhwa before settling on these ones:

In relation to the Isekai System, I'll see if I can apply more game-like mechanics along the way in a form of System Updates or something like that. I'll be open to suggestions for it but remember that only Naruto can access this system so it won't apply to others.

For those wondering if Naruto would use other things besides firearms like vehicles, it will happen eventually but not this early in the story but be sure to look forward to it anyways. Like always read and review.
