Naruto and Sasuke woke up, got dressed, and prepared for the day. It's been a week since the fight with the Centinel and the two of them haven't really spoken to one another. They got to Ms. Goodwitch's office for another day of basic learning.

"Alright, boy's it's time for me to go teach the students stay here." Neither one of them responded.

"Naruto, Sasuke, you both have been practically silent since last week, what's going on with the both of you? Glynda looked up from her papers as she checked the time.

"Nothing, we're fine," Sasuke said as she seemed to add more pressure to his pencil. Glynda's eyes softened and she picked up her binder. "Come along boys."

"Where to?" Naruto asked

"We're going to my combat class."

"I thought you said we couldn't go."

"I think it would be a nice change of pace for the both of you, now come along." Naruto and Sasuke got out of their desks and followed Glynda to the classroom.

When they got there the students were all giving them weird looks. That's not too surprising after all Naruto and Sasuke are pretty young. Glynda took center stage while Naruto and Sasuke leaned against the wall in the back.

"Good morning, as I mentioned on Tuesday today we will be focusing on team-based combat. A reminder, you are being graded on how well your team performs, which means that victory should not be your primary goal. Now, let us begin first team NAPL vs SRLT."

The two teams stepped into the ring and began to duke it out. Naruto and Sasuke just watch. "Hey," Naruto called out not really looking at Sasuke.

"Hn?"

"I got a question."

"What?"

"So you know how Grimm are attracted to negative energy."

"Mhm?"

"But from what Ms. G said Centinels rarely come to highly populated areas. Which means something attracted it to the area."

"what could give off enough negative energy?" Sasuke said just then Naruto remembered something

Flashback

Naruto was eating a popsicle with Jiriya in front of a lake.

"Oi, Pervy Sage tell me a little about the Nine-Tailed-Fox," Nauro said as he dipped his toes in the water. Jiriya looked down at him before looking up at the sky. The world-famous author thought about what he was going to tell the young boy, after all, it's not like he could tell him everything.

"Naruto, have you ever hated anything?"

"Hm? Well, I don't know if I really hated anything. I don't really like tomatoes." Jiriya laughed the looked down at the water at Naruto's reflection.

"Noted, But the Nine-tails is a beat of pure hatred, in its rage it laid waste to countless lands and has left many bodies in its wake."

"I don't know about that Pervy Sage." Jiriya looked over at him as Naruto looked out towards the water a small smile on his face.

"I don't believe anything in this world is made of pure hatred. Hatred is born from sadness, it hurts, but like any wounded, it heals. Maybe not on its own but with the proper support it can heal." He stood up and threw his hands into the air.

"You hear me you damn fox I'm going to do something about all that hatred!" Jiriya just looked at him and then laughed.

"Oi, what's so funny you perv!"

Back to the present

"Right, I forgot."

"Forgot what." Before Naruto could answer Glynda cleared her through.

"Alright class we have time for one more battle. Team RWBY Vs…" She looked around to try to decide who their opponent would be she then glanced back and got an idea.

"Team RWBY Vs. Naruto and Sasuke." Glynda called out, and the students whispered amongst themselves on who Naruto and Sasuke were. "Girls go grab your weapons."

The girls had come back from the locker room and waited for their opponent. "Boys, go ahead now."

Naruto and Sasuke got off the wall and stood across from Team RWBY. "Ms. Goodwitch with all due respect I don't think we should be fighting children," Yang said

" Believe me, Ms. Xio Long, just because they're young doesn't mean you should take them lightly. Ready, go!" The girls got into a stance but chose not to approach, Ruby spoke up.

"So hey maybe we don't take this fight too seriously, we wouldn't want to accidentally hurt you." Two tick marks appeared over Naruto and Sasuke's head.

"Of course, that would be horrible, right Sasuke."

"Mhm, that would be the worst." The girls smiled then slightly slumped in their stance.

"Well I'm glad we-"

"Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!" A massive fireball came flying at them. Their eyes widened and they all jumped out of the way. Yang landed first she looked up and an orange blur came swinging at her.

"Fast" She put up her guard to block the incoming attack to the side of her head, but the attack stopped short.

Shock filled her face as a cheeky grin spread across Naruto's face. The clone poofed and the original came and gut-checked her sending her flying past Weiss who had just landed. She held her rapier up and adjusted her stance, the cylinder spun and she dashed at Naruto.

"EEK!" Weiss trusted her rapier forward and Naruto ducked, strands of his blond hair fell as he barley dodged it. She followed up with multiple stabs and Naruto just kept dodging.

On the other hand, Sasuke took out Kunai and placed it in his mouth. Blake rushed Sasuke as Ruby provided cover fire. Blake swung multiple times, but Sasuke simply moved around her attacks. She did a horizontal slash and Sasuke ducked then placed both hands on the ground before donkey-kicking her into the air. He threw the Kunai at Ruby before jumping up to meet Blake in the air.

Weiss continues to thrust Myrtenaster and manages to hit Naruto. The Naruto poofed as her eyes widened. Back with Ruby, the kunai came flying at her she dodged out of the way. The Kunai poofed and out came Naruto, he grabbed her cape planted both feet on the ground and pulled her to him.

He cocked his fist back and Ruby switched Cresent Rose to Scythe mode. He threw his fist forward; she used her scythe to block the attack but the force sent her fly in. She looked back and saw Yang had recovered and had her hands open to catch her. So mid-flight Ruby switched back to sniper mode and aimed at Sasuke and fired.

Sasuke saw the shot out of the corner of his eye and kicked off of Blake to dodge the shot. Sasuke landed and Weiss came and caught Blake as the other members of team RWBY ran up next to them.

"Well good news girls I no longer feel conflicted about hitting a child." Said Yang as she cocked Ember Celica. Blake rubbed her chin as she looked down at the two boys.

"Careful the black-haired one packs a punch."

"Who are you telling I blocked the blonde one punch and It still hurt."

"Can you three focus!"

"Shut it Weiss"

"what's wrong I thought we decided not to take it too seriously, after all, we wouldn't want to hurt you," Sasuke said smugly.

"Yeah, in fact, it's not fair that it's four against two, let's even up the numbers! Mult-Shadow Clone Jutsu!" About a hundred Naruto poofed in surrounding the girls, silence filled the room as everyone stood off.

One of the Naruto ran at them and the fight was on again. Two Narutos jumped at Ruby who swung her scythe poofing both of them, toward the end of her swing she fired her gun and hit one of them as she launched herself at a group. She spun the scythe shredding through multiple Naruto's.

Yang was hitting every Naruto left in right, she hit one with an uppercut before grabbing another and slamming it into the floor. She did a roundhouse kick hitting one in the chin. One grabbed onto her back and more and more began to dog pill on her. She let out a yell as her semblance activated and she started knocking out Narutos.

Weiss was stabbing one after another the cylinder spun to fire dust and she let out a horizontal slash as flames burned a good five Narutos. She spun dodging one of the Narutos and making it trip she stabbed it down poofing him. The cylinder spun again to ice as multiple Naruto jumped at her giant ice shards flew out stabbing all of them.

Blake just cut them all down, she threw Gambol Shroud and held onto the ribbon. It switches to scythe mode and began cleaning house. She caught her weapon shifting it back into katana mode. The girls looked around them as all the Naruto had been defeated.

"Is that all you got!" Yang yelled Naruto smiled.

"I'm glad you asked!" Before Naruto summoned more clones Sasuke put out his hand stopping him.

"No need, it would be faster if we did it ourselves." Sasuke looked at them as he activated his Sharingan. Ruby activated her semblance and sped toward them Sasuke tracked her movements.

Ruby went for an overhead slash and Sasuke casually dodged out of the way. He grabbed the collar of her shirt and tossed her across the room.

"Ruby!" Yang rushed them with Weiss and Blake at her side. Yang threw a punch and Sasuke redirected it past him. Naruto slid up next to him hitting Yang in the face and dropping her. He looked up as Blake tried to do a vertical slash but Naruto summoned a clone and caught the blade.

Sasuke went to kick her but Weiss put up an ice wall blocking the attack. Ruby got up and ran back into the fray. Weiss made several glyphs across the wall and Ruby ran up them. Ruby jumped off the wall at Naruto but the blonde used Weiss's ice wall as leverage as he swung himself over it. Sasuke activated his Chidori and broke through the ice wall attempting to hit Ruby.

Glynda was going to stop the fight but Yang got up grabbed Sasuke's forearm and threw him across the stage. Naruto summoned a clone and the clone threw him over at Sasuke catching him.

Naruto straight his headband "You four are pretty strong but it's time to end this." He summoned a clone and it began making a Rasengan. Sasuke ran forward with a blinding speed, he kicked Weiss across the room. The hit was so hard she crashed into the wall.

The first stage of the curse mark had activated, Ruby came in with a slash but Sasuke used a substitution Jutsu. He reappeared and sent a flying knee to the side of her head completely flooring her. He looked Blake in the eyes putting her under a Genjutsu. Her eyes hazed over and Sasuke just stood up and took a deep breath as the curse retracted.

Yang Attempted to punch him from behind but Sasuke dodged, he did a few more dodges before vaulting over her head and kicking her back sending her flying at Naruto.

"Like I said this is over!" he was going to hit her right in the gut but the next thing he knew he was floating losing focus and the Rasengan dissipating.

"Alright, all members of team Ruby have reached 15 percent or less of their aura therefore the match has been decided, the winners are Naruto and Sasuke." The students went wild with cheers

Glynda placed Naruto Down and he summoned two clones that went and helped Weiss and Ruby up while the original helped Yang up and Sasuke undid the Genjutsu.

"Sorry, I hope Sasuke didn't hit your head too hard," Naruto said as he pulled Ruby up.

"It's fine, it's not my first time getting a little bonk on my head. Naruto right, Ruby Rose." She picked up her weapon and Naruto poofed.

"Oh, well, bye then." The other Naruto helped up Weiss.

"You ok?"

"I'm fine, I can't believe I just lost to two kids, Winter must never know…"

"I'm not sure who this Winter is but I'm sure they won't judge you." Weiss just glared and hit the clone causing it to poof.

"Release." Blake fell to the ground in a deep breath, she looked up as Sasuke offered her a hand.

"Thanks"

"Hn."

"names Blake."

"Hn."

"It's nice to meet you two Sasuke." Sasuke had a small smile.

Naruto helped Yang up. "Thanks whiskers."

"Whiskers?"

"Yeah after the beating you and Gloomy just delivered you definitely deserve some kind of nickname."

"But why Whiskers."

"Well duh because you have cute Whiskers."

"They are not cute!"

"Whatever you say."

"Alright class we have reached our time for today, Naruto, and Sasuke, feel free to join the students for lunch see you all next week.

Author: it's almost 4 am and I'm tired… but next chapter should be some fluff
