Note: If you're reading this, that means you have read the new chapter before this called Phantoms in the Sparks. If not, go back and read that first since that is the actual chapter I posted alongside this. Enjoy!
If Kintsugi no Fusei had an Anime Outro by Will S. LaVi
Trust You by Yuna Ito
As the piano intro begins, the scene opens to a field of beautiful flowers like forget-me-not, hydrangeas, and wildflowers. The image then ripples like water as Robin walks past it.
The first lyrics are spoken and the scene that comes up is the Mila Willow, its flowering branches swaying with the wind. There, a cracked and broken longbow is propped on its trunk.
Hana wa kaze ni yure odoru you ni
(Like flowers dancing in the wind)
It transitions to the glade where Morgana's pithouse is hidden, her now rusted sword is left impaled on a mound of earth as rain falls.
Ame wa daichi wo uruosu you ni
(Like rain moistening the earth)
Finally, it changes to a cliff that overlooks the port of Farfort as feathers flutter in the air.
Kono sekai wa yori soi ai ikiteru no ni
(Although this world thrives on interdependence)
The ruined courtyard where the Shepherds fought shows up. Then, it zooms in to reveal the shattered weapons and armor now littering the place.
Naze hito wa kizutsuke au no
(Why do people hurt each other?)
The image pans to a windowless cell that now has a crack on its ceiling, the light trickling through drawing attention to two pairs of bloodstained manacles.
Naze wakare wa otozureru no
(Why do we have to part?)
A large tree with a temple at its peak as it towered above all appears. As the sun in the far distance rises, its rays causes a strange stone left discarded on the temple grounds to shine.
Kimi ga tooku ni itte mo mada
(Even if you're faraway from me)
A desert replaces the scene with the moon up above. The wind reveals a tome left in the sand, its decorations partially faded.
Itsumo kono kokoro no mannaka
(In the depths of this heart)
A tiara sinks upside down like a smile in the water, the illumination from the surface causing its metal and gemstone to sparkle.
Ano yasashii egao de umetsukusareta mama
(Completely filled with that gentle smile)
A broken lance is left discarded by a pool of water, but nearby it were a three dolls made in the likeness of a family. Father, Mother, and a Daughter.
Dakishimeta kimi no KAKERA ni
(The pieces of you that I held tight)
A cracked sword is left on the middle of the stone steps, the bandages that partially covered it now ripped apart to reveal the extent of the damage.
Itami kanjite mo mada
(In spite of pain,)
A gloved hand and one with a scarred wrist shake hands firmly.
Tsunagaru kara
(We are still connected)
A pair of swords ignite with Aether to battle against the approaching sword-wielding figure in the darkness.
Shinjiteru yo
(I believe)
Three people with white hair, two of them clad in similar dark coats and one dressed with a brilliant crimson waistcoat embrace as the dawn shines on the beach with gentle waves.
Mata aeru to
(We'll meet again)
The small hands of a child eagerly reaches for the trembling cheeks of a young woman who fell down to her knees, her arms reaching for the young one.
I'm waiting for your love
The scene shifts back to the Mila Willow where two cups made of stone remain by its roots.
I love you
The gem on the impaled sword lights up gently as feathers fell from above.
I trust you
A cloak and a coat were tied together as they hung like a flag over the cliff, dancing with the breeze.
Kimi no kodoku wo wakete hoshii
(Share your loneliness with me)
The shine from the stone atop the temple reflects towards a pair of swords crossed together. Simple yet beautiful even in their cracked state, for they will never be apart.
I love you
The tome in the desert opens it pages and comes to rest on a sketch of two people looking at fireworks. Though they're backs were all that was seen, what glimpses of their faces showed happiness.
I trust you
A white cloak with calm blue clouds met its match in a black veil decorated with blue flowers.
Hikari demo yami demo
(Even in light, even in darkness)
The scene shows Robin coming to a stop in the rippling field of flowers as she comes across Shirou with his back turned to her. He looks over his right shoulder and smiles at her as he turns around, his right hand reaching for hers.
Futari da kara shinji aeru no
(Because we're together, we can believe in each other)
Robin smiles with tears in her eyes as she approaches and raises her own hand to grasp his.
Hanasanaide
(Don't leave me)
Hope all of you enjoyed this!
P.S.
To the guest who reviewed, saying I faked out the readers.
Did you read the note I left at the top of the outro? I specifically mentioned to read the chapter called Phantoms in the Sparks, which is the new chapter I did release. So no, I didn't fake the readers out. There is a new chapter.
Let me repeat. New chapter is Phantoms in the Sparks, released on July 14, 2023.
