AN:

Hello!

Welcome to the Evil Queen's Black Widow!

This is an OC X Regina story, my own character's that I've created, and her adventures/encounters with other characters in the show as was as lore from the Assassins Creed franchise. If you're not familiar with the game, feel free to explore the franchise Wiki page to get a rough idea.

This story is slight crossover with Assassin Creed, so characters will pop up every so often from the game franchise, but this story will follow the OUAT story line, with a mix of extra chapters.

There will be characters taken from the works of the bard himself, William Shakespeare.

Introducing the face claim for my OC as:

Scarlett Johansson (Avenger's 2012) as Amelia Montague/Smith

Just to say I love my OC character; Amelia this is the first fan fic I've put time into writing. She been a pleasure to write about over that past few years.

After 28 long year's under the Evil Queen's thumb. The Dark Curse was finally broken. The wave of light magic had pulsated through the once sleepy town of had woken up its residents from their cursed lives, making them remember their true ones.

A hooded figure stood atop the roof's of main street Storybrooke, Maine looking down upon Snow White's and Prince Charming's long-awaited reunion that had been interrupted by a thick cloud of purple smoke that had shorty swept through town shortly after the pulse of light magic.

The figure knew what it was as soon as it swept past her. It was magic.

Brushing off the new feeling she continued to run across the roofs until she got to her viewpoint. The very top of the clock tower that overshadowed the whole town. Using her sixth sense the town turned dark blue as she sought out the woman she needed to find. In the distance she saw the faint glow of the woman responsible in the quiet suburbs of town.

Her vision went back to normal as she scaled the towns clock tower and perched on the spire. She stood tall as surveyed the town. Finding the Sheriff's station. Mr. Gold's Pawn shop. Granny's Diner. The cemetery. Town Hall. The hospital. And finally, the mayor's home. Smirking to herself, she saw that the gold figure was inside the house.

Her attention was brought back to the end of main street as with a large crowd of the town's residents were gathered with home-made weapons. Rake's, shovels, pickaxes, whatever they could get their hands on after the purple smoke swept through the streets. They were calling for the Mayor's head. Climbing down from the top she joined the growing mob instantly blending into it.

Once they reached the mayor's house the hooded figure silently broke away from the group unseen by the others to climbed the side of the house with ease.

Watching from above Dr. Whale, or as she knew as Dr. Frankenstein thumped his closed first against the door, demanding the Queen's attention.

"Open up! Open up, or we're coming in!" he yelled enraged through the door. He steps back as Regina opens to door. The figure crouched down on the edge of the roof as she waited for her moment to be made known by the Evil Queen.

"Can I help you?" she heard Regina ask the Doctor hearing the wicked smirk that accompanied the question.

"That smirk isn't going to last forever, Regina" Whale told her "You took everything from us and now..".

"What? Now you're going to kill me?".

"Eventually. But first you need to suffer".

"Listening to you has been enough suffering for all of us" Regina said pushing Dr. Whale off the step of the porch to address the crowd "That's right. You wanted to see your Queen? Well my dears. Here..She.. Is"

Throwing out her hands towards the mob, the Evil Queen trys to inflict her powerful magic upon the mob making them flinch back in fear, only for nothing to happen. The figure had to hold back a laugh as the Queen failed to perform magic.

"She's powerless!" the crowd shouted, "Get her!" Dr. Whale went to grab the Queen but was stopped as a figure in a hood and black and red hooded robe landed on top of the Doctor from above crouched over him with a sharp blade protruding from the figure's wrist, held up against the Doctors throat. Regina's eyes went wide in fear as she instantly recognized the figure on top of Whale.

She should have known she would come straight for her.

"She's. Mine" the figure growled out with gritted teeth. The Doctor nodded hastily as the blade went back into its sheath within the gauntlet. The figure stood up before sending a quick punch into the Doctors jaw, sending him back onto the ground, still awake but in pain. The angry mob stepped back as they saw the figure they feared in the Enchanted Forest, stood up straight still over the doctors body she looked at them. Her deadly green eyes taking in every member of the angry mob as they waited for her next move.

Regina had never been so terrified for her life, than in that moment. She had no magic to fight off the assassin's relentless attacks and no way to escape, not with the mob already there ready to hand her over to the woman in a heartbeat if it meant they got to survive the day.

The Black Widow

Her name would strike fear into the hearts of everyone who had the unfortunate pleasure to meet her, or to be the unlucky person to be on the end of her sharp hidden blades. Stories of her slaughtering anyone that got in her way traveled throughout the Enchanted Forest like wildfire. Some, would rather be at the Evil Queen's mercy than the dear Widow's.

The figure slowly turned to face the Queen and flicked her wrists out triggering two hidden blades came out from her wrists.

"Now…. where were we?" the figure said taking quick step towards the Queen making Regina step back in fear her back to hit the white pillar on her front porch. The Widow placed one of the sharp blades against the Queens pale neck while the other rested close against her stomach, feeling the sharp point through her blouse.

"How would you like it Your Majesty?" the assassin purred into the Queen's ear as the tip of the blade being pushed uncomfortably on her stomach "Slow or Slower" the figure whispered close to the Queens ear pushing the blade into the Queens neck, hard enough to get her point across, but not enough to break the skin. The Queen could feel the figure breath on her neck. She knew what she could do, but she never thought she'd be on the receiving end her Hidden Blades.

"I'll have your head assassin" she threatened the figure.

"Someone's already tried" The figure retracted the blade from Regina's stomach and reached up to pull off the black hood that covered her face. Fiery red hair spilling out that barely reaching the women's neck "I'm afraid they missed".

"Amelia" Regina snarled through gritted teeth.

"Hello Regina" Amelia said in a sweetly tone and toothy smile until the sickly-sweet face turned serious as she pressed the blade against the Queens soft neck "Goodbye Regina".

Suddenly Storybrooke's own Sheriff and savior Emma Swan came rushing through the crowd followed by her parents and the cricket "Let her go!" the blonde shouted as she grabbed the back of Amelia black and red robe, harshly tugging her away from the Queen making her forearm slack and her blade to retract back into her leather gauntlet, only for the redhead to flicked out the blade on her left wrist to hold it to Regina's throat as she turned to face the blonde.

"Why should I listen to you?" Amelia argued defiantly at the savior, as David and Mary Margaret pushed themselves forward glancing down at Dr. Whale who was slowly picking himself up from the assassins earlier sucker punch.

"Because I'm still Sheriff" the blonde retorted.

"And because she saved you" David added before looking towards the rest of the mob "All of you!".

"And because no matter what Regina did, it does not justify this" Mary Margaret tried to reason but Amelia scoffed at the Princess rolling her eyes.

"Oh, I think seeing her suffer just a little bit, justifies thirty years of being under her thumb" Amelia finally spoke up.

Emma had to take a second look at the woman that currently held Henry's adopted mother by a knife., she knew her as the owner of Hidden One's. A bar that catered some of the towns more rougher clientele.

The redhead wore button-up shirts with jeans and boots, wearing scars littered across her arms one across her left eyebrow. Trying everyday to convince Ruby to work at the bar by flirting with the woman endlessly only for the young dark-brunette to decline every attempt. But now, she was in a black robe with a hood. Holding a blade up against the mayor that came from her wrist.

"We are not murderers here" Emma tried to convince the redhead.

"Well, we're not from this world" Whale spoke up in the Assassins' defense.

"Yeah, well, you're in it now" she turned to redhead "Let her go Amelia" she tells with the bar owner. Amelia stared the Sheriff down. Seeing Henry out of the corner of her eye she finally let up and retracted the blade from the Queens throat only for it's edge to leave a shallow cut in the skin making her hiss as she flinched at the sting it made the mayor quickly covering the cut up with her hand.

David pushed Whale away from Emma "Okay, Whale. We're done" Whale pushed the prince back in defiance.

"Back off. You're not my Prince" he retorted at David.

"Who are you, Whale?".

"That's not your business Shepard" Amelia spat at him. David turned to the assassin.

"Well my business, is making sure this town doesn't go to hell" the shepherd turned Prince confronted the redhead "So, whether or not I'm your prince, isn't the issue. We have a lot to figure out, and this isn't the way to do it".

"And Regina's death won't provide any answered" the Prince's wife spoke up "She needs to be locked up. For her safety and, more importantly, for ours" Mary-Margaret proposed. At that the crowd began to leave the property as Amelia stood her ground in front of the Queen.

"She's not going anywhere out of my sight" the red head told the small family sternly.

"Well your more than welcome to join her, assassin" David spat at her.

"Watch your tongue Shepard. My blade hasn't spilled any royal blood in years" she sneers at him.

"You can't hurt me; your damn order stops you" he stepped closer to the red-haired woman.

"You're hardly innocent, you've probably spilled just as much blood as me. Possibly more" she seethed Emma pushed her father and Amelia away from each other.

"Enough!" Emma turned to the woman "We need to get Regina to the station, you can come with us, hell I'll even put you in a cell next to hers, just shut up and stop".

"As long as I'm the one to end her pathetic life".

"No!" Henry's small voice rang out as he ripped himself out of his grandmothers' arms. He looked up to the female assassin "Please she's still my Mom" he pleaded with her "I've seen your story, I know you're not gonna hurt her" the assassin watch the young boy plead for his mother's life. Amelia scoffed and turned back to the Queen.

"Looks like your son saved your life for another day, your majesty" she scoffed gruffly and turned to leave the mansion. But Snow grabbed her arm stopping her.

"What happened to you Lia?" she asked the assassin.

Amelia looked back at the Queen with a scowl "She happened" she ripped her arm out of the Princesses hand and walked away from the Charming family.

The assassin sat herself at one of the desks in the station with her ankles crossed on the edge of the table in front of her, folded arms, leaning back in the chair as the Charming's locked Regina in one of the cells.

"So, I'm a prisoner now" the dark-haired woman stated to the newly-united family on the other side of the bars.

"I think the bars look good on you Your Majesty, really brings out your eyes" Amelia complimented her, earning a glare from the woman.

"The curse is broken. Why didn't we go back?" Charming asked the Queen.

"Because there's nothing to go back to. That land is gone" she told the group.

"We should get to Gold" Mary-Margaret suggested to the group, the agreed and went to leave. Emma stopped to see that the redhead hadn't moved from her place at the desk who continued to stare down the Queen in the cell.

"Aren't you coming?" the blonde savior asked her.

"I'd rather cut my wrists than go see The Dark One" she answered her without looking away from the Evil Queen "The Queen and I need to catch up" she add's making the savior look back at Regina in worry "Don't worry death is too good for her".

"That's what I'm worried about" Emma commented as she left the two women behind.

"You look ridiculous in that here dear" Regina told the Assassin once they were alone.

"I could say that about most of your dresses back home Your Majesty, and don't get me started on the hair" the redhead drawled out.

"I seem to recall you loved seeing me in it" Regina replied as the assassin's face broke into a wide smile and her eyes lit up as the Queen's own scowl eased into a smirk. The assassin stood up from her chair and approached the cell. Reaching through the bars she placed her hands on the Queen's face tenderly cradling her face in her palms.

"Correction. I loved seeing you without anything on" Amelia huskily whispered and pulled the Queen into a fierce kiss in-between the bars earning the redhead a audible hum of content from the woman inside the cell "Thirty years is too long" Amelia breathed out once they pulled up for air.

"Indeed, it has" Regina hummed and pulled away from the red-head "But the theatrics weren't necessary dear. I had that mob under control".

"You did. But you know how much I want to hurt that damn doctor. I am one for a little flare" the assassin said stroking the small cut she had made on the Queen throat with her thumb.

"Was the blade really necessary?".

"I had to make my point with hero's, I think a little cut is sufficient enough to tell them" their conversation was interrupted when Amelia suddenly jerked forward, taking the pair by surprise.

"Melia?" Regina's concerned voice rang through her head as the world around her started to blur.

Backing up from the cell the redhead reached for the foreign item that was embedded in her neck, wrenching it out her skin the assassin winced in pain as she felt her balance start to teeter. The world around her slowed down as she opened her closed fist that held the object that had struck her to reveal a red feathered dart that came in and out of focus before she heard a voice she knew very well behind her.

"Sorry to interrupt the lover's reunion, dearies" The Dark One's voice rang out making her whirl around to see Rumpelstiltskin stood there with a cane in his hand "But I need to speak to the Queen without her Widow in the way"

The assassin's brow's furrowed down in anger as step forward to confront the man herself head on only to easily lose her footing as the sleeping serum started to take it's hold on her mind and body making her fall heavily onto the floor with barely enough energy to break her fall with her hands.

"Melia!" Regina helplessly called out for the woman falling down onto her knees, truing to reach out the the woman who needed her help as Mr. Gold approached the assassin.

She tried to fight off the darkness that threatened to take over her vision, holding herself up on her arms and elbow's she looked up to the Dark One baring her teeth at him in fury only for the sorcerer to simply to kick out making contact with her head making her arms give out, sending her onto the ground as the darkness finally swallowed her whole.

Enchanted Forest

The curse was coming. The Black Widow headed the Queens Guard on horseback with the Queen in her carriage running from the curse's dark purple clouds. Hooves thundered on the dirt road leading to the Royal Castle. The assassin headed the Queens Guard in a tight V formation as they stormed the castles vast bridge.

"For the Queen!" The Black Widow roared from the front unsheathing her sword as they met the Royal front line ahead of them.

"For the Queen!" the guards roared back at their leader. This was it the final charge into enemy territory. Charging ahead of the guards, the master assassin crouched up on her saddle as her horse raced the last hundred yard or so into the royal couples' guards.

Steadying her crouch as her armored horse charged straight into the awaiting guards allowing the redhead to sprang from her position on the horse to leap up and over the guards to land in a roll on the other side of the defenders. Reaching into her belt and took out the prototype explosives her blacksmiths had been working on for months. A small black ball was rolled into the middle of the guards while taking out one of her primed flintlock guns and took aim at the small ball.

"Boom" she whispered as she pulled the trigger. The pellet of lead met the black ball that had settled itself in the middle of the guards and exploded creating a large fireball outwards sending the guard outwards over the bridge or those unlucky being burnt.

Covering her face with her arm, she felt the wave of heat rushed past her as more screams rang out, only for the sound of hooves to take over as the Black Knight's behind her had rushed through the hole the explosion had made to easily enter the castle grounds with little to no resistance.

Knights thundered past her on horseback as they started their final assault on Snow White and her Prince Charming. In the chaos she finally saw the Queen's own carriage make its arrival through the entrance of the castle. It's wheel's rumbled on the stone ground as it continued it's path towards her.

Making her feet move she sprinted towards the carriage, it's driver reached out a helping hand as the Widow caught his arm in her hand allowing her to vault up and over to land on the roof with a thud stabbing a hidden blade through the soft wood to keep her balance on the moving carriage as it moved further into the grounds.

The carriage moved through the small skirmishes that ensued around them between the Queen's knights and those loyal to the royal couple. As the carriage skidded to a stop, Amelia leapt off the roof to the door and opened the door and held out a hand in front of the open door.

A pale hand with dark painted fingernails was placed itself into the assassin's waiting one as the Evil Queen stepped out of the carriage onto the castle cobblestones, she looked back at the destruction her Widow had made to allowed them into the grounds.

"Good work with the guards Assassin" she complements the redhead under the hood.

"Thank you, my Queen" the Widow answered with a tight smirk.

"I take it the royal couple are in the castle".

Turning her attention onto the castle, the master assassin blinked on her sixth sense seeing through the walls, she saw people running through the passageway's from the Queen's Knights until her sight homed in onto one of the towers that surrounded the castle.

Inside were two solid gold figures huddling together with a third smaller figure. A child.

The one thing that threatened to break her Queen's curse that they had just managed to outrun themselves to reach the castle just in time.

Snow White handed the new-born babe to her husband before running out of the room he shared with his wife, who was left wailing in grief. Blinking her vision back to normal Charming's figure remained gold as he made his way through the castle.

"The savior has just been born" the Widow informs her Queen "The Prince has taken the babe and is running towards the West tower".

"Good work as always Assassin" The Queen praised the younger woman, placing a loving hand on the woman's cheek "Soon, we'll have our happy ending. Together" she tells her assassin with a loving smile.

"Now go bring me Charming's head" the Queen sneered at her and took her hand away.

"With pleasure, my Queen" her Black Widow wholeheartedly agreed before stepping away from the Evil Queen.

Holding up her right arm high she aimed for a high window of the castle before pulling the trigger with her free hand that triggered the rope launcher latching itself onto the ledge before it pulled her up the side of the castle.

Once she reached an open window she stood on the ledge and aim her rope launcher again at the West tower were Charming was headed. Using it as a zip-line toward the tower. With 5 tugs at the rope she propelled herself towards the open window and climbed inside.

Amelia woke back up with a start on the station floor. The memory fresh as it was yesterday. In a way it was. It was the last time she was herself that hadn't been replaced with curse memories.

"Melia!" Regina called out as she knelt on the floor inside her cell waiting for the Assassin to wake up. The redhead's green eyes fluttered open as she groggily woke up from the dart.

"Regina?" Amelia whispered in confusion, her head was clouded as she felt her right hand sting in pain.

"Are you okay?" Regina asked the woman still on the floor only for her concerned over the assassin to go unanswered as the redhead tried to get a good look at the burn imprint that was in the middle of her palm.

Bringing her right hand up to her face in the semi-darkness to see that her palm had been branded with a symbol she knew well enough to be fearful of it.

"Uh oh" she squeaked, she knew what this was. A Wraith. Looking to her Queen she saw the same symbol that had been branded onto hers. Gold. He must've done this. But why? She hadn't done anything, only to look at the woman inn the cell behind her.

"What did you do?" she lowly asked the Queen. She knew her too well not to be suspicious of her. This was a grudge match she had been dragged into by the Dark One.

"Why do you assume I did anything?" Regina retorted in annoyance.

"Spare me Regina" she spat at the woman "Why did he do this to us!" she exclaimed showing the brand to the woman only for her question to go unanswered as both women heard something across the room.

"Hello? Who's there?" Regina called out as Amelia pulled herself up leaning heavily on the desk that sat in front of the cell that held her Queen.

"Please let that be Snow" Amelia whispered out-load, but it wasn't true.

Feeling the air shift around her, he hairs on her arms and neck went up on end as she tried to find the source of the danger her sixth sense was trying to warm her about. The Wraith was here. Her warm breath condensate in front of her. as the room drew cold "Oh shit" she cursed to herself knowing what was coming as the dark cloaked wraith swept into the station.

The wraith violently pushed the Assassin roughly onto couch next to the cell, as it went for the Queen in her cell, ripping off the door to the cell to get to the former Queen.

Pushing herself off the couch she put herself in the way of the Queen as it started to suck the Evil Queen's soul from her body. With her hands she pushed the Queen further into the cell as the wraith turned it's attention onto the assassin making her stumble backwards onto the floor

It felt like the air was being sucked straight out of her lungs, the soul sucker held her up against the cell bars as Regina looked up to see the redhead haing her soul sucked out.

"Melia!" Regina screamed as she threw out her hand to try and use her magic to fend the creature off the assassin only for nothing to happen yet again. She was powerless.

"Hey!" David shouted announcing the Charming family's arrival as he threw a chair towards the wraith causing it to stop sucking Amelia's soul to turn its attention towards him. The assassin was too weak from the wraith attack on her to stay on her feet her knee's buckled underneath her dead weight, her back slid down the bars as the frozen Queen inside could only watch.

Seeing her love fall the Queen hastily crawled on the floor until she reached the woman just in time to stop her completely toppling over as she held the redhead up against the bars as the hero's continued to fight the wraith. Her heart clenched in panic seeing the assassin's green eye's not open. No she couldn't be dead. She just got her back.

"Wake up, wake up, wake up" she urged the woman to open her eyes as she tapped the redhead's face several times before she reared back with a closed fist sending it into the assassin cheek. She knew it would hurt, but it was the only way she knew she could get the woman to wake up.

The sudden pain making the assassin gasp awake as she took in a deep gasp of much needed breath as her mind tried to catch up to what had happened.

"Figlio do puttana!"(Son of a bitch!) the assassin exclaimed awake in her native tongue before looking at the Queen in a mix of anger and confusion for the rude awakening "That hurt!".

"Your welcome dear" the Queen curtly replied as they watched the Charming family fight off the Wraith that had nearly killed the assassin.

The looming shadow figure began throwing furniture back at David when Mary-Margaret picked up an aerosol can.

"Over here!" Mary-Margaret shouted as she held up the lighter in front of the aerosol can and sprayed the can while lighting the lighter creating a flamethrower hitting the wraith. The shadow screamed out in pain flew out of the widow. Emma came over and helped Regina, pick the red-head off the floor who was rubbing the side of her face with her hand.

"What the hell was that thing?" Emma exclaimed at the pair.

"A wraith. A soul sucker" Regina told the group as Amelia grabbed onto the bars to balance herself as she caught her breath, keeping a watchful eye at the woman deeply concerned for the assassin.

"Did I-"Snow asked.

"Kill it?" Amelia scoffed a laugh at the Princess while shaking her head "No, it's regenerating. It'll be back. It doesn't stop until it devours its prey" she informs the family "Painfully I might add" she added as she rubbed her chest in pain. Her lungs felt like they were on fire, but she carried on "In this case The Queen and I".

"So, how do we kill it?" Emma asked the two women, she was surprised that the redhead knew so much about the creature.

"There's no way" Regina tells them "Can't kill something that's already dead".

"Then, we have a problem" Emma told the group.

"No, we don't" the prince suddenly spoke up making the villain s look at him "Regina and her Assassin do" David argued glaring at the red-head.

"What?" Regina asked in disbelief as his wife and daughter turned towards him.

"David?" Snow questioned her husband.

"I should have killed you when I had the chance" Amelia seethed at him as she turned towards him.

"You want to let them both die?" Emma asked her father.

"Why not? Then it goes away and then, we're safe" he explained to his family.

"That's quite the example you're setting for your daughter, there" Regina sent the comment towards David.

"No, you don't get to judge us" he argued.

"Let me ask you something. Where do you think that thing came from?" she asked the group.

"Gold" Amelia answered for them.

"I made a promise to Henry" Emma tells her parents "She's not dying. No one is dying" the blonde sternly tells her father.

"Neither is Lia, she's saved my life so many times I've lost count" Mary Margaret turned to her husband "If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have met you and Emma certainly wouldn't be here" Snow told David, he nodded in defeat.

Turning towards the redhead the former Princess knew she had extensive knowledge of magic despite not practicing herself. If anyone knew what to do it would be Amelia and Regina "If it can't be killed, what do you suggest?" Snow asked her step-mother and assassin.

"Send it somewhere it can't hurt anyone" Regina told the group.

Once she landed inside the tower, she looked around and saw she was inside a nursery. A large crib stood to one side of the room with a mobile hanging over it. The mobile hung several glass unicorns. Amelia heard shuffling the other side of the room and saw a tree stump sitting. Two wooden doors were cut into it. She approached it and opened it. It had been hollowed out.

Interesting. This must be the tree my informants told her about.

She heard more shuffling from inside the tree bending down to get a better look inside. Reaching inside the compartment she pushed at the back of it. Surprisingly the back of it gave way revealing a small boy inside.

She knew the boy instantly. It was Pinocchio. Geppetto's boy. She smirked at the boy as he stared back. He looked terrified.

"I guess there are traitors living among Snows most trusted. Certainly, an interesting development" she says to herself making the boy whimper in fear, to which she only smirked more.

"Don't worry boy, your secret is safe with me until the royal couple find out about this treason. I'll see to It myself. Put the board back up and you need to be quieter, I don't think even Snow White would forgive your father for this plight" the boy nodded in understanding and pushed the fake back up with the Widow's help.

Going back to the task at hand she left the nursery to run in to the hallways to find Prince Charming and the babe passing several of the Queen's own knights on the way.

Rounding a corner she came to a skidding halt as she saw the Prince fighting off two guards with his sword in one hand while cradling his newborn daughter in the nook of his other arm, easily fighting them off. The guards fell onto the ground dead.

"Pathetic" she whispered to herself seeing her knights failure to bring down a man who could only use one hand. Only to see that the Prince hadn't gotten away from the knights unscathed as she saw a deep cut from a wound on his chest as the blood soaked into his doublet.

Unsheathing her own sword from her waist she stepped out of the corner to face the Prince himself as he groaned in pain from his injury.

"Nasty cut there Charming" her distinct graveled voice made the Prince jump as he looked to see the source of the voice he knew so well, the one that now stood in the way of getting his daughter to safety with a sword in her hand "Surrender and I'll make your death quick" she promises the man.

"Never. " he stated in determination gripping the pommel of his sword "If you're gonna kill me at least let me see your face Assassin, or are too much of a coward under that hood of yours".

He saw corner of her lips quirked up at in amusement underneath the hood that covered her head and face at his attempt to goad her. Reaching up the Black Widow pulled down her dark hood to reveal her face to him.

Her pale face contrasted against the long dark natural curled red hair that sat comfortably on her shoulders. Her dark green eye met his as the thunder of the dark curse rolled above them.

"This good enough for you Shepherd?" she asked with a hint of amusement lasing her voice.

"Snow was right" he stated seeing the woman his own wife spoke so fondly of now stood in front of him "It was you that saved her as a child" Amelia stepped forward towards the Prince.

"I may have saved her once, but I'm not that same woman now".

"I can see that" he didn't need to see her hear to see how dark it was. He saw it in the way she spoke, the way she looked at him, like he simply just something it the way to her ultimate goal. Collateral damage.

"So are we just gonna talk, there is a curse coming" she reminded the Prince as thunder continued to get loader by the minute, the dark curse inching its way closer and closer to "I'd say you're running out of time".

"So, fight me".

The Widow answered him as she swung her thinner, lighter sword words the man before it was easily parried away, starting a fight neither wanted to lose for differing reasons.

The pair became equally matches as the fight swung back and forth into the others favor. She had faced many skilled fighters in her time, Prince Charming would not be any different and she bide her time spinning away from the tiring Prince trying to keep the edge of her blade away from his newborn daughter.

As his swing and thrusts became lethargic and his movement sluggish from the blood loss. Taking her chance as his impairment, his blade widely lashed out of her, opening up a space for the master assassin to slid across the hard ground on her knee's as she took out a silver dagger from her belt she used its sharp edge to cut deeply into the back of the Prince's right calf, making him fall on bended knee, using his sword to stop him and his daughter from falling onto the ground.

"Aaargh" the prince exclaimed in pain as the Widow stood back up and rounded the Prince in pain like a predator ready to give him the killing blow. But no she was going to enjoy this. She and her Queen were going to win and she knew that.

He had failed.

He shakily looked up and saw he wasn't too far from the nursery and the enchanted tree, he could make it. He just had to get through to the woman that his true love knew still existed in the Black Widow. The girl that would always protected those who were innocent from people like the Evil Queen.

"Please" he begged the Assassin "Please I need to get to the nursery. I know you're not like the Queen, you still have your code. My daughter…she's innocent".

Rounding the injured Prince once more she looked at the small bundle in his arm and crouched down to meet his pleading eye "Please I know there's good in you. Snow knows as well. Something tells me your Queen hasn't fully turned you dark".

"Why would you say that?".

"Because you haven't killed me" he pointed out to her "Only stopped me. Please I'm begging you" he panted through the pain as the redhead looked at the babe in his arm. She hadn't even cried through the whole fight, not even a whimper.

Amelia looked at him and looked back at the babe in his arm. She hasn't even cried. "Please" he whimpered out once again. That's when she saw something she hadn't let herself see in years. The desperation behind he eyes. He was a father protecting his child by any means necessary.

'Just like what Romeo tried to do for us'.

A voice in her head she hadn't heard in year spoke up.

'Just like Henry tried to do for Regina' the voice reminded her as her thoughts turned back to Henry. He was a good man.

'Better than you ever will'.

She was devastated when she found out what his daughter would have to do to enact the curse. Blinded by her own anger and hatred towards Snow White, she took her father's heart for something she didn't even want to happen. Even she couldn't convince the Queen to end her vengeance once and for all. Even her love for the Queen wasn't enough.

'Just like you tried to do' her father's own gentle voice told her. The voice she yearned to hear again. Her heart clenched as she let the memory through of the night that fueled her own vengeance. The Prince watched as a tear fell from the deadly assassin's eye as she looked at his daughter.

Something had changed behind the woman eye as he gripped tighter on the pommel of the sword to keep his balance as he continued to bleed out.

"Please" Charming begged once again, which brought Amelia back to the situation in hand. A tear escaped from her eye as she looked between the small babe and her enemy.

What the hell was she doing?. The question suddenly made he stand up straight like an electric shock had jolted her out of what she was doing.

This isn't how she was raised, what she was taught. All the hate and anger that had embedded her soul for so much suddenly lifted off her shoulders. A shaky breath left her lips as her world spun around her. Her feet made her step away from the injured Prince holding his new born as fresh clean air entered her lungs for the first time in years.

She found herself she was able to breathe again as the noise outside of swords ringing out against their rivals reached her ears, she saw the destruction they had left behind as her eyes found the knights that the prince had managed to fight off before she stopped him. So much blood. And for what? What had she done?.

Reaching into the small satchel on her belt and took out a small medicine bottle and uncorked it and held it out to the Prince.

"I'm sorry" she whispered to him, he almost didn't hear her as he looked at her in bewilderment "Take it. It will heal you enough for you to get the tree" she tells him, taking the Prince taken aback at her eagerness to try and help him.

"How do I know it's not poison". This could be a trick. He wouldn't put it past the woman at this point. Gain his trust at him most vulnerable and then stab him in the back.

"Because I am your only hope of getting you daughter to that tree" she tells him keep her eyes firmly on his "You have no choice but to trust me".

Taking his chance the Prince took the small glass vial of clear liquid, letting go of the sword that was holding him up, shooting the liquid down his throat. He could feel it's effects instantly as he felt the deep cut stopping him from getting to the nursery knit back together from the deep tissue inside the muscle to the skin on the surface as the pain ebbed away. Glancing behind him he saw a thin cut remained of the wound the Widow had left, it wasn't fully healed, but it would be enough for him to get the nursery.

With steady hands on his shoulders Amelia kept the man steady as he stood back up from the ground as he saw the red haired assassin looking at his daughter.

"Thank you" he exasperated in a deep exhale as armored footsteps alerting the pair as the assassin looked over his shoulder to see more knights on their way to them.

"The night isn't over" she reminded the Prince as took her hands off him to pick up his sword from the ground to hold alongside her own curved saber. Handing his sword back to him, the Prince gratefully took it from the assassin.

"Go. I'll stop any more guards coming your way. hurry" she hastily tell him as she stepped away from to allow him to take a long fought for step towards his goal with a slight limp.

Pulling the hood back over her head the assassin put herself between the Prince and the incoming knights.

"I won't forget this" He called back to the woman that had save his future wife all those years ago "Snow and I will be forever indebted to you with our lives".

"Run Charming" she tells the man ignoring his promise. She was a dead woman walking once the Queen had found her "The Queen will have my head for this, then yours" she told him concentrating on the men that were about to make their own presence known at the end of the corridor.

Nodding in understanding he ran the rest of the way to the nursery leaving the assassin to face whatever was coming down the corridor. Not even a second later several of the Queen's Guard burst through the door at the end of the hallway to see the Black Widow stood alone opposite them.

Widening her stance the assassin held her sword up by her head as her free arm extended straight out out in front of her before a hidden blade sprung out of the end.

"Let's dance boy's" Amelia said as the guards charged at her.

With the plan in mind, the group of hero's and villains plus Emma, headed towards Regina's office in the Town Hall as Emma struggled to keep up with the quick pace that had been set out by the red headed woman seemingly leading them.

As she was trying to grow accustomed to her new surroundings, but she still had no clue how the bar owner fitted into it. David had called her an assassin. She was a professional killer, she didn't look the type. But looks can be devising, it would certainly explain the way the scars. Like she had gotten in a few too many fights in her life.

Her mother seemed to know her the best though. She trusted her. But there was no mention of an assassin any fairy-tale she knew of. Henry trusted her though, he knew her story, whatever it was, enough to know that she wouldn't kill the Evil Queen.

"So, who are you exactly?" the blonde asked redhead as she tried to match her pace "David said something about you being an assassin?".

"I am an Assassin" Amelia answered her with an eye roll "My Brotherhood operated in the Enchanted Forest we intervened when needed".

"Like the video game?" Emma asked the red-head.

"Game?" Amelia looked at the savior confused and offended by the saviors naivety "The Brotherhood is not a game".

"Assassins Creed. Ever heard of it?" she pressed as the red-head shook her head "Right cursed. Never mind, so how did you end up working for Regina?".

"I saved your mother and her from being killed by mercenaries, before my Brotherhood fell apart. I found the Queen a few years later, a target put himself within her court, we made a deal. I got to kill him, and I worked for her against your parents since. It's worked out so far".

"Until you betrayed me dear" Regina reminded her "You did let Charming go if I remember right".

"He doesn't seem to remember" she tells the Queen "Maybe I should remind him" the redhead mumbled the last part to herself "And water under the bridge, you cursed me I'd say we're even. Anyway, you've missed me too much" Amelia teased the Queen and gave her a flirty wink to which the dark-haired woman rolled her eyes at her.

"Wait you two are..." Emma pointed between the two seeing the flirty banter.

"Together? I suppose we are" Amelia answered at the Queen as they reached the town hall.

Splitting off with David and Snow they had found a supply closet full of cleaning products and more importantly broom's they could set alight to fight off the wraith that was after her and the Queen. The wraith seemed to be harmed by fire.

"Was it true about what Regina said" the former princess suddenly asked the Assassin taking the redhead by surprise "About you letting David get to the wardrobe?" Mary Margaret or Snow suddenly said as Amelia was pouring liquid into a bottle.

She didn't like calling her Mary-Margaret. It was too much of a mouthful. More importantly it wasn't' her name. Name's were important in her culture. They told her everything she needed to know about a person.

"I did" Amelia swallowed answering her question "But it seems your husband holds a bit of short-term memory loss, he did want me to be left for dead only ten minutes ago".

"I'll talk to him Lia. He knows how you've helped me over the years" the younger woman tells her as the assassin stuffed an old rag into the bottle neck.

"If he ever threatens her again my blade may find itself in his throat" Amelia warned the woman.

"Of course, I know how much you care for her".

Was she really that easy to read when it came to Regina?.

"Come princess we have a shadow to banish" Amelia left the closet with the bottle and left the princess. Snow and David followed her up the stairs to find Regina in her office with Emma.

"Who's Jefferson?" Regina questioned the blonde as they walked into the room catching the tail end of Regina and Emma's conversation.

"That world jumper?" Amelia spoke up looking between Queen and the savior seeing the hat box on the conference table as they placed the brooms and the bottle of scotch on the other end of the table.

Not all her targets were in the Enchanted Forest.

"Torches" the Prince announced "For when it comes back" David told the group holding up a few brooms in his hand "I know its old fashioned, but so am I".

"So how does this work?" Snow asked the pair of villains as Emma sees the bottle that had been stuffed with a rag.

"Is that a Molotov?!" the blonde exclaimed at the redhead widened and concerned at the woman's choose of weapon.

"How the hell I'm I supposed I defend myself against that thing. A flaming sword?" the redhead retorted.

"No" Regina sternly told the woman from down the table, the look on her face matching her tome a she pointed at the bottle.

"I can't find the rest of my weapons" she argued to the Mayor.

"You have more?" Emma asked which Amelia shrugged off. No more was said as Regina made her way out of her office before Amelia could argue back at her.

"Fine, but I'm taking the scotch" the red head snatched the bottle up removing the rag that was stuffed into the top.

Stumbling through the corridors as fast as she could Snow White made her way through the castle towards the nursery clutching her flattened stomach to try and find her true love and daughter, to make sure they had made it to the wardrobe in time.

Stifling the groan of pain that threatened to escape her lips she stumble upon the connecting corridor that would take her straight to room where her family would be only to find it full of guards clashing swords against a figure in a dark robe and hood, in the flurry of attacks she hadn't noticed the a guard had sneaked up behind her wrapping his arms around her middle making her scream out in pain, gaining the attention of the the woman at the other end.

Using the distraction the knight swung his sword to cut through her leather pants into her thigh making the assassin scream out in pain. The pain only made her angry as she discarded her sword onto the ground before grabbing the knight by the front of his uniform using her free hand to plunge the end of one of her hidden blades into his throat three times before throwing him onto the floor to bleed out.

"vaffanculo"(Fuck you) she spat at the knight as she sliced through the rest of the knights until she reached Snow struggling to fight off the knight that had her.

Finding a small throwing knife on her person she flung the blade towards the knight easily finding it's mark in the man's eye above Snow's shoulder. The man screamed out in pain making him let go of the Princess before she sprinted down the hall ignoring the pain in her thigh using the wall as leverage, her foot pushed her up into the air so that she could swiftly end the knight's life withe a hidden blade, cutting the across his neck. Ending his life once and for all.

Snow clutched at her stomach as she saw her friend for the first time in years looking straight back at her. The darkness that had engulfed them remained but she could see the light that she once saw in her eyes from the very first time they had met, all those years ago.

"What are you doing out here!?" she yelled into the Princesses face as she helped the younger woman to stand up straight.

"I-I had to find him" Snow stammered out as Amelia's green eye met her's "W-What are you doing?" she questioned the assassin who had literally been on the opposite side of the fight and here she was helping her.

"Never mind that Snow, you need to get out of here. I won't be able to hold them off for too long now" she says glancing down at the fresh blood that escaped her thigh. The princess could see her blood even against the dark colored leather.

"You're hurt" Snow stated the obvious making the assassin chuckle at her concern. She had literally just given birth and here she was fussing over a little cut.

"Just a scratch. Go Snow, she won't be too far behind" she says winding a supportive arm around her waist to help her walk towards the nursery.

"She'll kill you" Snow fretted to her old friend as the thunder rolled louder than it was when she was fighting Charming.

"Maybe" Amelia stated "A small price to pay if it means you get to be with you true love before the curse comes" she tells the Princess as they came to stop mere feet away from the nursery "Goodbye Snow".

Turning her back to the Princess she found the sword she discarded between the bodies of dead knights as she saw the tail end of Snow's white nightgown enter the nursery.

"How did I know you'd do this" the Queen's voice echoed through the corridor as the looked up to see the woman herself accompanied by two knight's behind her.

Hell, hath no fury than a woman scorned.

"It will open a portal to our land. All we have to do is send the wraith in there" the Queen explained as she led the group into the town hall with the hat in her hands as the assassin looked out for any sign of the creature coming back.

"Oh, yeah. Just that" the Prince sarcastically retorted as he set the brooms alright with a lighter while the assassin dosed her broom with a trickle of the scotch she had brought before allowing the Prince to like her make-shift torch, it caught on quicker than the others, handing the broom to the savior who took it.

"I don't understand. I thought our land was gone?" Mary-Margaret asked the older woman.

"It is. But sending it to a place that no longer exists... Well, that banishing it to oblivion" Regina answered as she started to spin the hat.

"I'm sure I've been there a few times already" the assassin comments thinking to the amount of times she had been puled into the land of endless white after ending the life of those she used to call her family.

David handed her her a burning broom as the lights began to flicker out in the room and the hairs on the back of her neck and arms stood up on end, sensing the wraith's presence nearby.

"It's here" the redhead shuddered, holding broom in her hand a little tighter looking straight at the pair of glass door at other end of the room "You might want to hurry up there Your Highness" she advises the Prince. Taking the advise he hurried up lighting a broom for his wife and himself.

Emma looked at her in confusion "How do you know?" the blonde asks her.

"Just call it a superpower of mine, Swan" the redhead answered as the light went completely out.

Looking where the assassin was, to the pair of glass doors, they heard the wraith approaching as Regina spun the hat once again to open the portal. Coming to stand by her Queen with her broom she heard the former struggling to get the hat to work.

"Regina" Emma pressed the Queen as the wraith came closer.

"I'm trying" she answered the blonde as the doors burst open as Amelia covered her face as a gust of wind blew through the room.

The wraith swept in to the room through the open doors roaring at them as the assassin and Prince approached the creature with their torches waving them towards the dark creature.

Behind them Snow grabbed the bottle of scotch the assassin had brought down pouring its contents over the railings that divided the room.

"David!" Snow shouted at him wanting him to light the banister. Amelia saw that the wraith kept going for the Prince ignoring her.

Amelia stepped towards the creature clear of the dividing rail she held out her hand that bore it's symbol "Hey!" she yelled out to catch it's attention "It's me you want bastarda!"(Bastard).

Her plan had worked as she moved herself to the right hand side of the room with the Wraith obediently following her around.

"Lia No!" Snow tried to protest but went ignored as the assassin waved her broom at the creature. With the wraith distracted, David pulled the barrier across completely dividing the room and put the lit broom on it catching it on fire.

"Hurry!" he told them before turning back to help the assassin.

"Its not working!" Regina yelled back as she continued to try and open the portal.

He turned back to see that the assassin had dropped her broom onto the floor as the wraith held her up against the wall by her neck continuing its work from earlier in the station. There was no scream of pain coming from the assassin as she uselessly tried to fight it off her as she felt her strength being pulled out her body.

"Hey!" David shouted as he successfully jabbed the creatures side with the lite broom making it drop the redheaded assassin. The woman landed in a heap on the floor as the world around of her blurred and muffled as she tried to use the wall to push herself back onto her feet to continue holding it back from the Queen.

"Lia!" Mary Margaret yelled over to the assassin from the other side of the banister seeing the woman her knee's struggling to get up off the floor.

"Its not working" Regina continued to complain with her back to the fight and flames behind her not seeing how weak her assassin was as David continued to ward the creature away from the weakened assassin.

"What's the problem?!" Emma asked stood over the former Queen.

"Magic.. its different here!" she told her panic just as Emma looked up see where Amelia was having not heard her for a few minutes. She saw her on the ground barely able to stay on her feet without a torch to defend herself as the creature relentlessly tries to get to her.

"Now would be the time" David urged the women behind him as he continued to fight the wraith himself keeping it away from the redheaded assassin that had helped him when he most needed it.

"Amelia isn't looking so good!" Emma looked up to see the assassin once again on the floor struggling to stand let alone fight. Grabbing the Queen's arm the hat suddenly began to work as a purple vortex grew from the hat.

"It's coming!" David announced as the wraith threw him to the floor to get to Regina and Emma past the flames.

"Regina!" Emma shouted as she pushed the woman away, causing the wraith to fall through the portal. However, it grabbed Emma's ankle and dragged her through the portal with it as Amelia could only watch as Mary Margaret jumped into the portal behind her daughter before her world completely went dark.

"How did I know you'd do this" the menacing voice spoke from the other end of the hallway to see her Assassin surrounded by the dead bodies of her knights with her sword in her hand. Slowly the assassin turned to meet the Evil Queen's dark glare that would kill on any other day.

"Vengeance has consumed you. I won't let it consume me" Amelia readied her fighting stance with her sword.

"So be it" the Queens stated conjured a fireball in her hand and threw it at her lover hitting the woman in the chest sending her to the floor. Her armored chest plate took most of the hit, but she couldn't move from the floor. Amelia/s green eye's stared at the ceiling waiting for the Queen killing blow, knowing nothing would save her this time. The Queen blocked her view of the ceiling as she stood above the woman she loved.

"Just tell me why now?" the Queen asked from above, the hurt in her eyes made her heart break.

"She's innocent" Amelia forced out of her teeth as the Queen saw the deep cut on her thigh was was bleeding. The corner of her lips quirked up seeing that the woman hadn't gotten away without getting hurt.

Placing a heeled foot on the injury the dark haired woman sneered at the woman on the ground as she pushed down making the redhead groan out in pain as more blood escaped the open wound.

"So was Daniel" the Queen tells her as she continued to push down on the redhead's injury not caring about the blood that coated the bottom of her heel. She needed to make her hurt, see her in pain, to see her how much she had hurt her by betraying her at the moment they were about to get everything.

"We could have had our happy ending in the new world" she tells the woman on the ground as she takes the weight off her foot allowing the woman a second of respite

"We could have had our happy ending in Monteriggioni, you stopped yourself from it. You are your own worst enemy Regina".

"It's 'Your Majesty' to you Assassin" Regina sneered pushed her heel into her lover's injury once more leaving her on the floor.

"Pick her up" she orders the guards behind her before she heads towards the nursery she knew where the savior would be taken to. Taking an arm each the guards drag take the once powerful Black Widow to follow their Queen to find the royal couple.

"Melia!" Regina exclaimed seeing the assassin on the floor dead to the world, ignoring the Prince she rushed over to the unconscious woman, the fire having gone out as soon as the wraith was sucked into the vortex. Kneeling over the woman the Queen quickly found a strong pulse on the side of her neck making her sigh in relief. She was alive that's what mattered as she brushed a lock of the redhead's shorter hair. She just needed to rest.

From the other side of the now scorched marked banister David had stood up from trying to jump in to the portal after his wife and daughter. The hat been flattened by his weight. With tears in his eyes the Prince looked behind him to see the Queen knelt over the assassin.

"Where are they?!" he asked the Queen making her look up to see the Prince quickly approaching her. The queen quickly stood back onto her feet putting herself in between the him and the resting assassin behind her.

"I have no idea" she quickly tells him.

"Are they dead" he asks her closing the distance between them to make the Queen take a step back.

"The curse – it destroyed all the lands" she informs him.

"Are they dead?!" he yelled in her face with angry tears running down his face in his state of grief thinking he had lost his family.

"I don't know!" she yells back in his face.

"I should've killed you myself" he threatens her between gritted teeth he goes to touch her only for a firm hand on his chest to stop him.

"Well, then. What's stopping you?" Using her magic she viciously throw's David onto the wall behind him as vines magically protruded from the wallpaper, holding the angry Prince tightly against the wall.

Unbeknownst to the pair the redheaded assassin had started to stir in her sleep from the commotion as the Queen approaches him.

"You think you're some heroic prince?" she asks him "Please" she scoffs as he struggles to breath "You're nothing but the son of a shepherd. Amelia should've killed you when she could. I won't make the same mistake. And now I can" Regina continued to strangle David until she heard a voice from the door.

"Mom?" Whirling around she see's Henry stood there withe Ruby behind him watching his adoptive mother trying to kill his grandfather as the now fully awake assassin stumbles her way onto her weakened legs seeing the Prince held against the wall.

"Henry, what are you doing here?" she asks her young son as the she-wolf keep her hands on him. As the still dazed assassin stumbled across the room to get to the struggling Prince.

"Its okay. You're safe now" she tried to reassure her son as the vines disappeared around David making him fall down. Amelia used the strength she had to catch him as Ruby came running to steady him on his feet as Ruby ran over to help the assassin help up the heavy Prince, before her legs gave out from underneath making her fall back onto the floor.

"W-Where's my mom and where's.." Henry started not seeing his birth mother and grandmother.

"They're gone" Regina tell him "They fell through a portal. They're… Henry. I'm sorry".

"No, you're not. You really are the Evil Queen. I don't want to see you again".

"No, don't say that. I love you" she told her son. Amelia's heart broke for the woman as she put her arm around Ruby.

"Then prove it" he says "Get Emma and Mary Margaret back. And until then, leave me- leave everyone alone" her son tells her.

"But where will go?" Regina asked her son.

"With me" Davids voice spoke up behind her to see the man on his feet with Red holding him up and to see Amelia fully awake on the floor. Without another word spoken the Prince leads his grandson and Ruby out of the town hall leaving the assassin and her Queen behind.

Stumbling into the nursery after seeing her old friend return to her, the Princess found her Prince Charming on the floor with blood stains on his doublet seemingly dead as she tried to make herself move faster to get to him.

"No" she sobbed seeing her true love "No,no, no" she repeats throwing herself onto the floor next to him trying to shake him awake only to get no response from the man she loved "Please. Please come back to me" she begged cupping his face in her hand. Leaning down she placed her lip on his hoping true love kiss would wake him up only for nothing to happen.

She kissed him again, but it didn't work. Hearing footsteps come closer she looks up to see the Evil Queen striding into the room in victory.

"Oh, don't worry, dear" the Queen purrs out with a grin on her face seeing the royal couple on the ground defeated "In a few moments you won't remember you knew him, let alone loved him".

"Why did you do this?" Snow asked with tears in her eyes.

"Because it's my happy ending" the Evil Queen sneered at her, before two knights entered the room throwing a figure onto the floor in front of the Princess. It was Amelia.

"Lia" Snow breathes out in concern for the assassin that helped her get to her husband. Amelia simply sat on the floor holding herself off the floor to see Charming in Snow's arm's but no baby in sight.

"The child?" the Queen asks her knights.

"Gone" the knight reported to her "It was in the wardrobe, then it was gone. It's nowhere to be found".

A dark chuckle was heard from the floor making the Queen look over to her Widow to see her laughing as relieved tears left the redheads green eye's.

Ignoring her Widows laughs at her failure to stop the savior getting she turns to her former step-daughter.

"Where is she?" she demanded out of Snow.

"She got away" Snow said smiling to herself before looking at the Queen "You're going to lose; I know that now. Good will always win".

"We'll see about that" the Queen retorted as the ceiling above them started to crumble until it it was sucked into the purple storm above them. The wind whipped around them encircling the four as the Queen stood triumphantly in-front of them.

Whatever the Queen had in store for her would be worth it seeing the savior had gotten away, she would only have to wait until the day for her to break the curse.

"Where are we going?!" Snow asked the Queen over the swirling winds.

"Somewhere Horrible" the glass window shattered into the room as the curse grew in strength by the second.

"Absolutely horrible, a place where the only happy ending will be mine" the Evil Queen says as the rest of the window's caved in, the purple smoke of the dark curse engulfing the room taking them to the Land of No Magic.

Leaving the former Queen in her home, the assassin ventured across town out of her robe and gauntlets to the loft Mary-Margaret and Emma shared knowing that's where David would be with Henry.

With the Wraith gone from this realm so did the symbol on her hand. She would have to ask the Dark One about that eventually. But tonight was not that time. She needed to sooth things out with one remaining hero in town, even if he didn't want to hear it.

Gently knocking on the door the redhead waited as she heard footsteps on the other side approach the door until it was opened by the Prince.

"What do you want?" David demanded to know out of the assassin at her sudden appearance eyeing her in suspicion putting a protecting arm on the threshold "Did Regina ask you to come here?".

Hearing his Grandpa Henry looked up from the picture David had placed in front of him to see Amelia stood there out of the black and red robe he had only seen in pictures of the infamous Black Widow wear.

"No actually" she had to bit her tongue to keep her temper in check "I was hoping to see Henry" she calmly told him seeing the boy out of the corner of her eye. Her eye's met his giving the eleven year a cheeky wink making him smile. Looking around the Prince saw the smile on his grandson's face seeing the redhead he barely knew.

"Also.." Amelia continued getting the man's attention again "I wanted to thank you for tonight".

"Really?" he asked in confusion.

"I try and remember those people who help me when I'm in trouble" she reminds him "I find it balance's out karma. Even if said party threatened to let the Wraith continue it's job on me".

A frustration sigh left the Prince's nose as he let his arm drop to his side. He did suggest that, even after she let him get to the wardrobe with Emma.

"Okay. I deserved that" he admitted to the woman "I'm sorry I was just trying to protect my family" he tells her.

"Apology accepted" she tells the man "I would have done the same thing. Family is a precious thing to have. Can I come in and see him?".

"Lia?" a small voice inside called out to her. Amelia raised her eyebrow asking the Prince again. He sighed and opened to door for her to step inside.

She found Henry was sat at the dining room table with a photo frame in front of him. It was a photo of Emma and her mother before the curse broke. Sitting on the chair next to him the assassin made herself comfortable as David hovered nearby.

"Hey there" she greeted him with a smile, he looked up at her doe eyed and sad. No wonder Regina fell for him.

"Did my Mom send you here?" the young boy asked her.

"She didn't. I came over to see how you were".

"I'm okay" he tells the woman "David says that they're alive. I have faith" pointing at he photo's. he corner of her mouth quirked up at the boy's belief of getting his family back.

"I'd put good coin on that as well" the assassin starts "Your whole family has always had faith in the impossible. You always found each other in the end. Something I wish I had a long time ago" Amelia told him as he continued to look at the picture.

A hesitant hand rose behind Henry's head before gently placing on the top of his soft brown hair. The eleven year looked up at her as her had slid to the back of his neck. He reminded her so much of Thomas. He looked at her like she wasn't the villain he must've read about.

"They'll both come back Henry, you have my word" she promised him "I'm sorry you lost them so quickly after finding them. I may not have magic myself, but I'll move heaven and earth to return them to you, it's the least I could do for your family" she told him.

The woman was taken by surprise as the boy suddenly stood up from his chair before throwing himself into the redhead's arms, winding his arms around her neck as she hesitantly hugged him back, she held onto him tightly as her green eye's met David, the Prince mouthing a 'Thank you' to her her before the she mouthed back 'Your Welcome'.

The next few days would certainly be challenging for the whole town. She knows how Regina can hold a grudge. Even Henry nor she was completely safe from her wrath.

Hell, hath no fury than a woman scorned.

Returning to the mansion after leaving Henry at the loft. Henry had given her the storybook that held all their stories in to allow her to read her own story. In all honestly she didn't want to. She knew what was in there. But she was curious how far back it went, to the Black Widow's true origins.

Stepping in the foyer she saw her black and red robe, casually hung up on the coat rack like it was the most normal thing for it be there. Regina was right, she did look silly in it in this world. After safely hiding away the book, the assassin climbed the stairs to find the former Queen in the master bedroom, sat at her vanity table in a set of silk night clothes and a matching robe, gently brushing through her shorter.

She saw her leather gauntlets sat on the table like they could always be found whenever she spent the evening with the Queen in her room. The former Queen seemed to be in a world of her own as the assassin leaned on the threshold of her room.

The dark haired woman stopped seeing the redhead in the reflection back from the visit to see the Prince and Henry.

"Henry's fine" the redhead told the woman before she asked. She knew where she was going "He's inherited the their belief in the impossible".

"Of course he has" Regina replied placing the brush back on the vanity.

"He gets his strength from you though" Amelia mused to the mother "It takes a lot to stand up to the Evil Queen like he did, even I can't say I've done that" the assassin trails off.

She knew what she was talking about. Letting Charming go. She'll admit, it still stung. But in the end she wouldn't have Henry if she hadn't let the Prince get the wardrobe.

"I thought you left" she said turning on her stool to face the assassin who still hadn't stepped into her room. She wasn't sure how she stood with her now. All the Queen wanted was to have her partner back, by her side, like it had always been. She stopped any life free of the curse by aiding the royal couple. She missed her.

"I'll never leave you" Amelia repeated her promise she made to her years ago "I thought you knew that by now".

"I do" Regina nodded at her.

"That doesn't mean that I can stand by you and let you hurt people anymore".

The mayor scoffed to herself hearing this from the woman "So, you're on their side now" she accused the redhead as she stood up from her stool to step towards the woman who hardly had a foot to stand on for doing the right thing.

"I'm not on anyone's side" Amelia retorted pushing herself off the doorway to stand in front of the Queen "What happened to Emma and Snow could have got so much worse and we both know that" only not to get a response from the woman in front of her "Look if you can't tell Charming, tell me. Is our land still out there?".

"Yes" Amelia saw the former Queen was telling the truth and sighed in relief, they had so much to get through before they could back to the place they were before the curse.

"I should go" the redhead suggested "I'll get a few of my mercenaries to watch the house in case anyone has any stupid idea's" she offered the Queen not wanting someone like Whale to feel like their best chance to get to the Queen was while she was sleeping.

The assassin turned to leave reaching the doorway only for Regina's voice to stop her.

"Stay" The former Queen says "At least for tonight. I'd feel safer if you were here" nodding in understanding she re-entered the bedroom and closing the door behind her. Walking around the to the side she would always sleep on wherever she was with the woman Regina slipped into bed as she watched the assassin get comfortable in the clothes she had been wearing.

Silently the assassin sat on the edge of the bed pulling the boots off her feet before her fingers found the button's on her shirt. The Queen watched as the redhead slipped the shirt off her back to reveal the dark tank top underneath and the thin white scars that poked out from the edges of the cotton top.

She hated those scar's. It sickened her to know who was responsible for them. And yet the assassin wore them with pride. She was a survivor. You could throw anything at the woman and it wouldn't compare it to the harm she endured under a Creed that sued for peace.

After removing her jeans the assassin slipped under the comforter turning onto her side to face her Queen. Regina instantly took her left arm, stroking the lion tattoo on her forearm as she always did when they shared a bed. The assassin found the it smoothing especially after a hard few weeks.

"I missed you" Regina whispered to the red-head as the latter's eyes started to droop from fatigue of the day.

"I know" the redhead replied "I would miss me too after twenty eight years" she added earning a small pinch and chuckle from the Queen, the same she would receive whenever she made any cheeky comment to the woman in the bed with her.

"Ouch" the assassin grumbled "Fine, I missed you too".

Settling onto her with the assassin's warm arm to comfort her as she slept she let her eye's close to find what sleep she could get after the events of the days.

Just as she was slipping away she heard the redhead whisper beside her;

"Henry's a good name".

For those who have already followed and read this chapter, I hope you enjoyed the extra few thing I've added to it , and hopefully I've picked up all the errors.
