Falconreach Castle

The sounds of rustling papers were heard as Genevive grabbed large stacks of files, papers, and, scrolls and shoved them into her bag of holding. This went on for several minutes as she emptied the office of any documents. After placing the last handful of papers into her bag of holding she looked around the room she then nodded satisfied. Stepping over the corpse lying on the stone floor she headed out to search the rest of the fortress.

Later Falconreach Castle Armory

A large wooded gate lay in ruins pieces of the gate lay frozen and shattered like glass inside were hundreds of weapons and suits of armor some glowing with magic. Inside were three winged women grabbing the weapons and armor and shoving them into bags of holding.

At the sound of footsteps approaching the three turned their heads to see Genevive approaching the three stopped what they were doing to turn and face her.

Genevive "Report have you finished clearing the fortress of enemies".

The three nodded in unison.

"Good finish clearing the armory and meet me in the courtyard."

Falconreach Castle Courtyard

The four Celestials sat in the courtyard the three surrounded Genevive, two on her side and one to her front.

"Armoy cleared of enemies and all supplies seized" the angel to her left reported.

"Barracks cleared of enemies and all supplies seized" the angel to her right reported.

"Courtyard cleared of enemies and all supplies seized" the angel in front reported.

"And I've taken care of the office mount up were headed home" she ordered.

The four climbed atop their silvery mounts the sounds of heavy wing beats filled the courtyard kicking up dust as well as the ice crystals from the shattered remains of the enemy soldiers. As they reached high above the castle Genevieve reached into her bag of holding and pulled out a stone it glowed with magic courtesy of the spell stored within via the Glyph of warding spell. She whispers something to it before dropping it. The stone hit the castle courtyard releasing the spell stored within. The moment the stone hit the ground a crack began to split the ground and the earth began to roll like water as the castle began to shake apart its heavy walls crumbling.

As it did the four reached into their bags of holding pulling out the Glyph of Warding stored teleport spells within and vanished in a flash of light.

Great Forest of Evasha

It was the break of dawn the first rays of sunlight had just begun to shine through the thick canopy of trees a large group of army soldiers silently crept through the forest floor. Coming right beneath the elven village overhead at the edge of a rope ladder. One of the soldiers a well-dressed man wearing a black robe and a short white cape stood in front of the armed group the man pointed up in the canopy the faint light of the early dawn illuminating the form of several armed elven men patrolling the roped bridge bows and swords in hand.

"Mage Unit cast a silence spell over the area archers take out those patrols as soon as they fall climb the ladder and secure it we don't want the long ears cutting it, as soon as that's done end the silence spell and set the village ablaze to smoke the long ears out kill any who resist".

At his command, a group of four men dressed similarly to the commander but wearing white helmets began chanting in unison "Silence". At the casting of their spell, the world grew silent as if they'd all gone deaf. The archer silently notched their arrows and aimed. The commander raised his hand all eyes on him as his arm fell the archers loosened their arrows hitting their marks several elves were killed outright arrows piercing straight through their hearts or heads dying instantly. Others were badly wounded but living just long enough to let out a cry of warning to the others only for their eyes to widen at the dead silence that came from it before being killed by the subsequent volleys.

It took no more than a minute for them to eliminate all the elven patrols. Row after row of armed men climbed the ladder in total silence. After several minutes the enemy force had finished their accent into the trees. The commander stood at the back near the ladder surrounded by a large group of armed men. Standing at the forefront of the group the mages raised their hands beginning their chant, the maddening silence ended in time for a volley of flames and explosions to echo out as a wave of fiery explosions slammed into the village.

Kahvoerm's POV

Kahvoerm village chief came bursting out of his home and stood in shock at what he saw the village was engulfed in flames countless numbers of his people dead or being dragged away he saw a group of three armored human soldiers dragging a young elven woman by her long raven black hair, Immianthe he recalled her name was a young girl he'd seen around the village many times less than a century old.

Seeing the sight he drew the sword from his back and spoke "Shukuchi" had flew forward with great speed roaring like some great best. With three quick flashes of his sword, the men fell clutching their bleeding necks.

The moment they fell the girl ran as fast as she possibly could.

He heard shouts of alarm as the soldiers noticed their dead comrades they responded with shouts of anger and a volley of arrows.

"Fortress," he said crying out the name of his martial art. He felt his body briefly harden as the volley of arrows bounced off his skin.

Seeing a group of armed soldiers converging on him on all sides he crouched down and lept just as they'd encircled him deftly leaping over the enemy's sword taking the heads from several of them as he did. He landed several feet away from the encircling enemies

Moments after he did he was bombarded with several spells at once

"Magic Arrow"

He dodged out of the way just in time to avoid being hit with the first-tier spell which buried itself deep in the wood of the bridge he was on.

"Acid Arrow"

He lept again as a burst of acid came flying him he just barely managed to avoid taking a direct hit. He watched as the acid quickly burned a hole through the bridge and he felt the skin on the side of his left thigh begin to melt. He winced in pain as he realized he'd been splashed by the attack.

"Thunderlance"

He began to move as soon as he saw the enemy mage call out the spell he pushed against the ground attempting to leap out of the way as he did before but his leg collapsed underhim the pain having grown unbearable he didn't need to look to know the acid had begun melting away at his leg muscle. He watched as if in slow motion as the Theocracy mage thrust their hand toward him a thunder crack echoed throughout the village and white-hot pain filled his being as a bolt of lightning slammed into his chest like an ironclad punch.

He collapsed his body writhing and twitching as the electric current coursed through him but he fought through the pain forcing his body to rise he raised his sword and began to call out a martial art "Shuku-".

But he was cut off as he was hit square in the chest by a third-tier spell "Fireball".

Neutral POV

The village chief was completely engulfed by the explosion of the third-tier spell disappearing in a fiery blast. Althaea rushed to the scene collapsing in horror in front of her father's body weeping into her hands.

A cruel voice filled with malice chuckled out "As much as I enjoy the sight of a long ear in tears I'm going to need you to come with us".

Althaea turned to face the commander of the men a tall broad human with graying hair and brown eyes. She glared at the human with hate and tears in her eyes.

The commander raised his voice calling out "Alright men you know the drill kill the old, the children, as well as any man that resists shackle those who remain and torch the village and surrounding forest".

Althaea continued to weep before her tears began to turn into manic laughter drawing the commander's attention.

He slapped Althaea hard across the face grabbing her by the hair and sneering down at her "Don't you know it's rude for slaves to laugh, I think I prefer my pets in despair".

Althaea glared at him up at the commander still chuckling as she wiped away her tears replying "When Lord Theren arrives you'll be the one in despair".

"Oh and where is this Lord Theren then" the commander said back glaring down at the woman.

"Over here" a voice called out.

Everyone in the village looked over standing in front of the village chief's home Theren undisguised and in true form long eagle wings flared in rage violet eyes a glow with magic and an expression of rage on his face.

"No matter what's one more dead long ear, men kill him" the commander ordered.

At his command, all the soldiers marched toward him over two dozen armed men surrounded Theren swords drawn.

"Any last words long ear if you beg enough I might even let you live as my slave," the commander said with an expression of amusement on his face.

"Divine Word" As soon as those words of power left Theren's lips the dozens of men around him collapsed like puppets with cut strings.

The command gapped in shock "M-mage unit kill them" he stuttered out.

At his command, the group of four mages marches forward casting in unison

"Fireball"

"Thunderball"

"Iceball"

The third-tier spells flew forward but sputtered out of existence as soon as they reached him.

"Impossible" one of them muttered out.

"It's a good thing I had the foresight to cast Globe of invulnerability beforehand it automatically blocks any spell below the sixth level I'm afraid mages of your caliber can't get through it now die Chain Lightning"

At those words a bolt of lightning lept from his finger before striking the mage who spoke in the chest before arching out to the others. The mages cried out in pain before their charred corpses fell still twitching from the electrical current.

"W-wait what was your name again" the commander stuttered out fear in his eyes suddenly remembering a report he'd received about a powerful elven magic user by that name.

Theren smirked a look of pride in his eyes he spoke head held high "My name is Theren Starflower I was born on the island of Evermeet in the world of Abeir-Toril the blood of Corellon flows through my veins leader of the Seldarine creator of all elves"

"Y-you have the blood of a god," the commander said in alarm wondering if this man was perhaps some bastard child of a god perhaps one of the Eight Greed Kings.

"I do indeed human I promise you will pay for your crimes here today for all eternity, Hold Monster" Theren replied casting a spell paralyzing the man.

Hours Later Theren's POV

It was now sunset the villagers had finished putting out the fires and gathered all the bodies in the center of the village. I saw the familiar form of Althaea approaching.

"Lord Ther- huh I mean Erevan we'd finished gathering the bodies of the dead in the center of the village as you asked," Althaea said respectfully her eyes still red from her tears.

"Thank you though I still wish you avoid using my real name while here though I suppose it's a moot point now," I said sighing in annoyance.

"Yeah sorry about that still I'm curious what did you do with that commander," Althaea asked hate burning in her eyes for her father's killer.

"I sent him to Gabrielle for interrogation after his interrogation was finished I ordered for him to get the same treatment as your old master Erya," I said briefly surprised at my coldness.

But as I stared at the faces of the deceased I felt fresh anger flow through me. I knew I made the right decision.

"Still while I'm happy to know that bastard will pay for his crimes for the rest of eternity it won't bring my father of the others back," Althaea said with melancholy.

I smiled at that "Maybe so but perhappes this will" I said focusing inward drawing on the power of my artifact on of the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar my body began to emit intense white light my wings flared as I called forth a miracle. The clear exploded with soft radiant white light as the light faded a shower of sparkling rainbow sparks.

The dead had been clean of the blood and dirt that coated him their wounds had vanished their eyes slowly opened the villagers cried out in joy as they rushed to embrace their loved ones.

I smiled at the sight of the villagers and the formerly deceased form around him all smiles and tears of joy.

I saw a man approach pushing his pay through the crowd I saw it was Kahvoerm he wrapped his arms around me for a moment before smiling at me "Sir Erevan you have returned my daughter saved my village and given me and the others a second chance at life for that you have our eternal gratitude but I must ask who are you?"
