Ch 76 The Acting Prelate's Arrival

Hogsmeade

It was the middle of the Holiday Break, and everyone in Hogwarts was still enjoying the freedom from Schoolwork. However, among the Students and Instructors, whispers went around saying that the Church was finished and that someone from the Holy Church had already been assigned,

Dumbledore, knowing these rumors might cause some uneasiness among the Staff and Students decided there was one thing to do.

The Old Wizard walked on the Path to Hogsmeade, the Path where many Students go when they go to the Three Broomsticks for Butterbeer. On the Path was the Chapel, completed and already assigned Clergy to it. Two of his most trusted Teachers came with him, McGonagall and Snape.

"So, how well do you know this Church, Dumbledore?" Snape asked, having some negative feelings towards the Chapel.

"Not as much, Severus. I too am curious who and why the Church brought members of their Clergy to Wizarding grounds." Dumbledore admits, not liking how things suddenly appeared out of the blue. "Our best option is to find a common ground with this Representative from the Holy Church. We don't want an incident like the one with the Vampire a few Years back to happen again."

McGonagall looks at the Old Headmaster, sharing her thoughts on the situation. "Albus, are you certain that this Representative from the Church can be reason with?" She asked, witnessing firsthand what they could do.

Dumbledore gave a hearty sigh, answering his Deputy Headmistress. "We could only hope, Minerva, we could only hope." The Old Headmaster replied and continued their way to meet with the Holy Church's Chapel and its Representative.

The three Wizards continued to walk down the Path; the Chapel was just ahead of them. Soon, they stood before the doors of the Chapel,

The Crosses on the doors were enough to give chills down their Spines. Regardless, as Instructors of the nearby School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, they have to ensure the safety of the Students.

Dumbledore approaches the door, knocking on it. He steps back, waiting for a response from them. After a few minutes of waiting, the Chapel's doors opened revealing to the three Wizards who were behind the door.

"Oh wow, we weren't expecting some People to visit our Chapel!" The Woman has a fair complexation with light brown hair and golden eyes. She was dressed as a Nun, indicating she was a member of the Holy Church. "I expected that Students who came from the Mundane World to visit, not two Wizards and a Witch." She smiled at them.

The three Wizards blinked, not expecting a warm greeting from someone who works for the Church. Dumbledore cleared his throat, being the first to come out of shock. "A-Ahem, my apologies. I am Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and-"

"Wizardry, yes, we here at the Chapel know what the School down the Path to the left is." The Nun said, already knowing what the Castle was, "Even the Teachers that teach in your School. The two must be Professor Severus Snape and the Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall,"

Severus flinched, realizing how informative the Church was regarding who they were. 'Even the lowest Ranking Church members have information on us. Merlin, this is more worrying than I thought…' The Potion Professor said,

"Excuse me, you know our Names and our profession. But we don't know anything about you," McGonagall said, a bit concerned at how much she knows about them. Regardless of who she is, it won't stop her from being punctual. "Do you mind telling us what your Name is?" She asked, trying not to sound stingy.

The brunette Nun gasps, realizing how unprofessional she is, despite being a Nun. "Oh my, I apologize for not introducing myself," She placed her hand on her chest and introduced herself. "I am a Nun working for the Priest assigned to this Chapel. My Name is Noel Aizome, a pleasure to meet you all." Noel introduces herself.

Dumbledore gave a Grandfatherly smile at the Nun, "In any case, welcome to Hogsmeade/Hogwarts Sister Noel. I do hope you and the Priest here have a pleasant time," He said, hiding his concerns. "If you don't mind, where is the Priest here? I don't see him around."

Noel smiled, responding to Dumbledore's welcome. "Why thank you, Headmaster Dumbledore. I'm afraid the Father is away at the moment," She replied, "But I'm sure you'll meet him soon enough," She said to them.

Severus was skeptical, the way she spoke and how she said that they'd meet later was all too vague and suspicious. "In any case, I do have some questions if you don't mind answering, Sister Noel."

"Certainly, I'll answer any question you might have." Noel smiled, giving the Wizards and Witch an uneasy vibe.

Dumbledore spoke, asking a question he desperately wanted to know. "Why is it the Holy Church wants to build a Chapel here? I find it odd that some Families in the Muggle World-"

"Um, excuse me." Everyone pauses, turning around to see a blonde Boy with vivid green eyes. He seems to be around Ten years old, wearing a red hoodie, white shorts, and red and white shoes. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know we had Guests."

'A Student- no, this is a Muggle Child.' Dumbledore thought, finding it odd that a Muggle Child was here. He has to get rid of him before the Minister gets antsy and does something that would cause a conflict with the Holy Church. "My Boy, why are you here alone? Are you perhaps lost?" He asked the young Boy.

McGonagall was surprised to see the young Boy being here at the Chapel. "Young Man, do you know where your Parents are?" She asked, concerned if the Boy was lost rather than being a Muggle Boy. "Are they at Hogsmeade, the Village near this…Chapel?"

The young blonde Boy blinks before smirking, something Severus caught quickly. He then gave a small laugh, smiling at the two as he answered. "My Dad works here at the Chapel, he's a Priest. But he's away for now." He looks over to Noel, smiling at her. "Right, Sister Noel?"

"R-Right, of course." Noel quickly said, 'Ugh, he's such a Brat. Why am I assigned to work with him!?' She mentally thought.

Dumbledore, still skeptical about this Boy asked him some more questions. "If you don't mind, my Boy, could you tell me your Name?" The old Headmaster asked the young blonde Boy, wanting a bit of information on who the Clergyman assigned to the Church.

The young Boy smiled, "I'm Mario Gallo Bestino, Sir." He introduced himself to the old Headmaster.

"Well, Mr. Bestino, I do hope to meet your Father soon. It's nice to meet you, and you too Sister Noel." Dumbledore said, turning to his Colleagues. "Let's head back, Minerva, Severus, I'm afraid we have to meet Father Bestino at another Date." He said, turning around as the two Faculty Members of Hogwarts followed Dumbledore back to Hogwarts.

Mario waves at the Wizard and Witch, "Bye-bye!"

Walking away from the Chapel, Severus turns to Dumbledore having some space between them and the Chapel. "Headmaster, do you think we could trust them?" The Potion master asked him.

"Minerva, what do you think about Mr. Bestino and Sister Noel?" Dumbledore asked the Transfiguration Professor, acknowledging Snape's question. He wanted to know what others may think before giving his own input.

McGonagall ponders before answering her Friend. "I'm not too sure, Sister Noel and the young Bestino seem nice enough. But something else is nagging me," She said truthfully. "I guess them being associated with the Holy Church. What about you, Albus?"

Dumbledore thought for a moment, giving his answer. "I agree with you, Mr. Bestino and Sister Noel may seem nice, but I believe there's something else at play." He said, taking in the context clues during their talk with the two. "For now, I'm going to ask Alastor around the Ministry if they have heard of a Father Bestino. He's been around the World and knows a few things about the Church." He explains to the two.

"Then we got nothing to worry about for now." Snape sighs, eyeing back at the Chapel. Something about the blonde Boy was off,

"For now, just keep an eye on them and most of all, keep the Students from the Pureblood Lineage away from the Church," Dumbledore explains, not wanting another incident with the Church.

The two nodded, they also didn't want an incident with the Holy Church, especially with the Students.

Back at the Chapel, Mario waved at the Hogwarts Faculty, watching them disappear in the distance. "Um…why exactly did you say that your Father, Cardinal Laurentis is away? Aren't you the Priest in charge?"

Mario turns around to the Nun, his happy smile soon drops to a more annoyed expression. "On Paper, look, I don't need that from you Noel." He spoke rather abruptly than his polite attitude before. He turns to the Chapel, entering with his Subordinate.

He went to the Office, sitting at the desk meant for Priests or anyone with a high position of power. In this case, it was Mario Gallo Bestino, the Acting Prelate of the Holy Church.

Mario placed his feet on the desk, leaning his head on the arms of the chair as he gazed at the Nun. "So? Did you slip up when speaking with Albus Dumbledore?" He asked his Subordinate.

"N-No Sir, I merely said you were away when they knocked on the door," Noel said, answering her superior. "If it were those Rogue Wizards then I would've impale them with my Spear." She said, turning to the many Surveillance Cameras they've set with some Familiars.

Mario huffs, eyeing the monitors. "Heh, it's a good thing we use Anti-Wizard Methods for these screens to work." He said, seeing the Headmaster and his posey heading back to Hogwarts. "Has the Church sent falsified documents for my enrollment yet to the School?" He asked the brunette Nun.

"It's still being processed; the documents are said to arrive near the end of the year," Noel informed the Acting Prelate of what he requested.

Mario shifted, standing from his desk. "At least they're doing something. I'm going to work on my Puppet Parent for a Parent Teacher conference." The young Boy said, entering his Workshop filled with Puppet Parts. On the table was a Puppet shaped as a Male; he then turned to Noel. "Tell me when things get interesting,"

Noel nodded as she watched Mario disappear into his room on the Second Floor. "Gah, I really hate it here." She said, finally getting some time to herself. "I rather choose hunting for Dead Apostles than being stuck as an observer to these Heretics." She grumbles, walking to the Altar to fix some things.

Seraphix Oil Rig

It was a few Days since BB's defeat, and Seraphix returned to normal function. The Staff who were caught up in BB's acting out was finally free from her.

After a Day of rest, Harry walked down from the Repair Section and saw how exhausted everyone was when BB was in charge, he merely smiled at them. Fou as usual sat on his shoulders, heading to meet his Parents. "I hope you guys get some well-deserved rest." He wished them some rest after the whole BB ordeal.

One of the Staff turns to the young Boy, smiling at his kind gesture. "Thank you for your concern, young master." He said before groaning as he continued to meet with the next Staff exchange.

"Well everyone seems to be in perfect condition," Ayus said, walking over to Harry with a Data-pad in hand. "After checking everyone, I can confirm BB has mentally and physically exhausted the Staff." The Prime AI of the Repair Section said, speaking to Harry before his Father.

The young Boy looks at Ayus, wondering why she was talking to him. "Um, Ayus why are you giving me the Medical Reports?" He asked the AI,

The purpled-haired AI looks at Harry, answering his question. "I figured that you might like to hear how the Staff of Seraphix are doing after the Singularity was resolved," Ayus said, thinking that the young Boy was curious.

"Oh, thank you for telling me, Miss Ayus," Harry said, grateful for the AI for telling him.

"Fou, Fou," The Beast commented, listening to the conversation.

Ayus nodded, "Of course, I'm happy to be in service." The Prime AI looks to the side, seeing the Rani-Rs needing some assistance with the Build Section Staff. "If you would excuse me, young master. I have to take care of these other Staff members.

Harry nodded as he and Fou watched her leave them to do her duty. "Well, let's go see Mom and Dad, Fou. I'm sure they're waiting for us." He spoke to his Companion.

"Fou," Fou nodded, agreeing with the Heir of Chaldea.

Continuing their way, Harry and Fou soon encountered Iori and Takeru talking to a familiar face. "Well, I didn't expect you to be Summoned by the young master, Archer." Takeru laughs, seeing a friendly face.

"Yes, truly Fate has played a role here to reunite again." Iori smiled softly, glad to be talking to Zhou Yu in a more relatively peaceful environment.

Zhou Yu, (now able to enter Seraphix due to the Singularity being resolved,) chuckles at his two former Allies. "Yes, it is great fortunate that we've met again, Saber, Lord Iori." The Archer said, giving a long sigh. "I have met many who participate in the Waxing Moon Ritual. I'm sure one day Zheng Mingyan will join us." The Archer said,

"Zhou Yu!" Zhou Yu and the Sabers turn their attention to Harry, hearing his voice coming from the side.

"Well, well, if it's the master of the hour!" Takeru laughs, greeting their young master. "Hey there, young master. Still relishing in your victory against BB?" The Saber asked, watching him walking up to them.

Harry stood before the three, answering the Hero of the Boundless Azure's question. "I'm still getting used to the idea that I've resolved a Singularity." He said honestly,

Iori chuckles, placing his hand on the Boy's shoulder. "For someone who isn't yet trained properly as a master. You did well," The Saber smiled, impressed by his power. "Good job,"

Harry smiled at the compliment. "Thanks, Iori, I know there's a lot I need to learn before tackling another Singularity." He jokes before turning to Zhou Yu,

"Master, I heard what you did. I am sorry that I couldn't aid you as your Servant, master." Zhou Yu said, apologizing to his master for not being at the Final Battle to fight on his behalf.

"There's no need to say you're sorry, Zhou Yu. This was unexpected and things went off the rail." Harry said, knowing that his Servant feels guilty of being unable to help him. "How about next time when there's a Singularity you can come with me. Sounds good?"

The grey-haired Archer chuckles, nodding to the promise they made. "I appreciate it, master." Zhou Yu responded,

Takeru nudges Iori's side, seeing how this Singularity has brought out something from the young master. "Seems like BB knew what she was doing, I can tell the young master grew up a bit."

Harry blushes, turning away from the Saber. "Y-You think I did?" He asked, a bit embarrassed by what they said.

"Yes, truly you've grown during your time here, young master." Iori supported his former Servant's words. "I can say, those who think ill towards you may change their minds after this." He commented,

Harry smiled yet again before hearing someone from behind him. "Harry-sama," The three Servants froze, hearing a familiar voice.

"No, it can't be…" Takeru said, real sure they knew who this was.

"This Divine Aura, yes it has to be-"

"Ara? Iori-sama, I'm so happy to see you again." Tamamo Aria walks over to the three with her Fox following behind. "Ara, ara, this has to be Fate playing in my favor. First was Harry-sama, and now you." The Rider said,

Iori gave a greeting to a long-time Ally, "Aria, I'm shocked, to say the least." He said to the Rider Servant. "I didn't expect you to be here, are you perhaps a Counter Force Servant?"

Aria nodded, smiling at Iori. "Yes, I am. I'm also Harry-sama's Servant during this Singularity." The Rider approaches Harry, hugging his arms.

"Fou!?" Both Harry and Fou were surprised by the sudden affection from the Divided Spirit.

"A-Aria, what's with the hug suddenly?" The young Boy asked, surprised by the sudden gesture.

The pink Fox giggled, stepping back from her master. "I'm just saying my goodbyes before I leave," Aria said, wanting to do so before departing. (Insert [FGO OST]Ever-Present Feeling)

Harry was taken aback by what she said. "Leave? Why are you leaving, Aria?" He asked, feeling a bit hurt. "I thought you were staying at Chaldea."

"Ara, ara, Harry-sama is going to miss me?" Aria placed her hands on her cheeks, cooing at what he said. "I'm going to miss you too,"

"But, why?" The young Boy asked,

Zhou Yu and the two understand what Aria is saying. "Master, Aria was Summoned by the Counter Force. She's not affiliated with Chaldea," Takeru said, explaining how there were different kinds of Servants.

"There's us Chaldean Servants, Servants who were Summoned by the Fate System of Chaldea." The Hero of the Boundless Azure said,

"And there's Counter Force Servants, Servants who were sent by the Counter Force for a specific task," Iori said, turning to Zhou Yu, "Zhou Yu, is something different."

Zhou Yu placed his hand on his chest, "I was Summoned by your voice when we were in Russia, master. Think of me as your official Servant." The Archer said,

"Yes, Iori-sama and Archer-sama are right." Aria said with a heavy sigh. "As much as I want to stay with you a little longer. I'm afraid my task is complete. There's nothing you can do." She said as her Fox and herself began to turn into golden dust.

Harry remains silent, not wanting to say goodbye to his Servant yet. "B-But will I ever see you again?" He asked, seeing Aria already starting to return to the Throne of Heroes.

Aria nodded, having confidence that they would meet again. "I know we'll meet again, I just know it." The Rider said, stepping back to her Mount was.

Harry watches as both Aria and her Mount's Bodies begin to disappear. Aria smiled brightly, saying her final goodbye. "Even though it's short, I had fun," Aria said, before returning to the Throne. "I hope to see you again,"

"Aria…" Harry said, watching as the Golden dust disappeared.

At a far-off distance, Ritsuka and Mashu watched their Son bidding his Temporary Contracted Servant disappear. "We should do something for Harry-kun, Ritsuka," Mashu said, wanting to cheer her Son up.

Ritsuka nodded, agreeing with his Wife. "Yeah, I know saying goodbye to Servants is tough." He said, relating to his Son. "Harry deserves a celebration for what he did in Seraphix. He resolved and defeated a Singularity alone at his Age." He commented on his Son's accomplishments here.

"Reminds me of someone I know," Mashu flirts with her Husband, leaning closer to him.

Ritsuka raised a brow, smirking at the former Demi-Servant. "You're not trying to seduce me, are you Mashu?" He asked.

Mashu blushed before nodding shyly. "S-Speaking o-of which, what happens to Poe-san and Rogue P-Pretender?" She asked, curious where they went.

"Oh, both Rogue Pretender and Edgar left already," Ritsuka said, being the first to tell him due to their limited time here. "Those two told me they were Summoned for a different reason and have to search for what that is. Being in Chaldea won't help them, much like the Rogue Ruler."

"All I can say is that Harry might see more of them in the near Future," Ritsuka said, remembering what they said to him.

Flashback

"Master," Edgar walks over to Ritsuka, seeing he has time to spare. Beside him was Rogue Pretender who was shyly digging her foot into the Digital ground. "We have something to talk about…"

"Edgar, Rogue Pretender, I can tell this is important," Ritsuka said, not liking how the atmosphere is now.

Rogue Pretender opens her mouth, wanting to say something. "Um…I-I mean, we…um…" She looks at the Rogue Moon Cancer, unable to say it. "I…Mr. Poe, can you say it to master's Father?" She asked,

The Moon Cancer sighs, seeing that it falls to him. "Master, both me and Rogue Pretender have to go somewhere. Not back to the Throne of Heroes, but somewhere else." Edgar said, feeling a bit bad for not saying goodbye to the Person who beat the Singularity. "I know it's odd for us Servants to leave here when something was done. But you see…"

"You were Summoned for a different reason and you two have to search for what it is," Ritsuka said, understanding fully what they were trying to say.

Edgar nodded, having nothing to say, (well, almost nothing. He's not one for sentimental things such as farewells.)

However, Rogue Pretender still wants to leave a parting gift for her master. "Ano…master's Father, can you tell master that we say goodbye and that um…we're sorry we can't be together?" She asked, ready to leave with Edgar Allan Poe to where they're needed next.

Ritsuka nodded, happy to oblige to their request. "I will, I hope we'll see each other soon."

Edgar scoffs, turning around with Rogue Pretender before dematerializing from Seraphix.

End Flashback

"I see, so that's how it is," Mashu said, finding this similar to how the Avengers were during the Id Singularity. Mind, she wasn't present during that time; but she had read the reports. "I do hope Harry-kun would understand why those two have to go…"

The Chaldean master chuckles, "I'm sure he'll understand. It's not like we're not going to see them again." He said as he leaned in close for a kiss when the doors opened.

"Merlin! This place is amazing!" Remus Lupin exclaimed, holding his hair up while being amazed by everything Seraphix had to offer.

"A Digital World built within an Oil Rig that is bigger than the outside and filled with things not known to the Muggle and Wizarding World!?" Remus laughs, a bit jealous that Sirius manages to experience this. "Sirius, this gotta be the most awe-inspiring thing I've seen!"

Sirius laughs at his Friend's (who was able to get in when the Singularity was resolved) reaction. "If you think this is amazing, wait you hear this." The shaggy-haired Wizard said, "Ritsuka here has- oh, sorry Son. Did we interrupt something?" He gave a smug expression at him.

Ritsuka sighs, hearing his Father speak. "Yes, if you didn't see the context clues, Otou-san." He said with a hint of annoyance.

"Sorry, sorry," Sirius chuckles, holding his hand out. "I was just showing Mooney here around Seraphix and as you could tell," He motions to the Werewolf, shocked by everything here.

"Yes, we can tell, Black-san." Mashu smiled,

Remus walks around, still hard for him to believe that this place was all created by Muggle Technology/Magecraft. His eyes then lay on the small rectangular object, listed in big bold letters. "What is this Flashdrive doing her-"

DO NOT TOUCH: ONLY A CHALDEAN MASTER CAN HOLD IT

"I wouldn't touch that if I were you, Uncle Remus," Ritsuka warns the two Wizard of the item on the desk. "You'll risk freeing her out." He smiled, walking over to grab the Drive.

Sirius was curious about that Drive, "Hey, Ritsuka, what is it anyway?" He asked,

Ritsuka chuckles, holding the Drive between his index finger and thumb. "Oh, this? It's just BB's punishment for creating a Singularity here." He chuckles, reading the Digital words coming off the side.

-ZZZ- NOOOOO….WHY LIZ'S SONGS!-ZZZ-

"P-Punishment?" Remus and Sirius question what kind of punishment Ritsuka gave BB.

"Simple, I downloaded some of Liz's Songs into this Drive where I then used a Command Seal on BB to be inside of this Flashdrive," Ritsuka explains with a smile, turning his Hand with one missing Command Seal. "She'll be here for a week, but inside will feel like a month. I call it, grounding." He laughed a little at his joke.

Both Sirius and Remus were a bit scared of the type of punishment he'd give to those who deserved it. Sirius walks over to Mashu, whispering in her ears. "(It's a good thing Harry's a Kid now. I'm scared when his rebellious Teenage years kicks in…)" He commented,

"(I am too, Black-san. But I'll talk to him about Harry's punishments when he's out of line.)" Mashu smiled, also sharing her concerns for Harry.
