Intermission
Hi everyone, this is Owen Chaser here. Unfortunately this week's chapter of Chronicles will have to be put on hold.
I know some people are going to be wondering why this message has come out just a day before the usual upload time, but there is a reason for this, and it is no one's fault.
On Monday I was talking to Cosmic Vlad about potential ideas for this upcoming chapter and other moments for Chaldean Chronicles, but at a certain point, he stopped messaging, and when I asked him if he was ready to start the chapter that night, I got no response. Usually that's nothing so unusual because we occasionally lose communication for a couple of hours at worst.
However, the next day came along, and I still heard nothing back, and Wednesday and Thursday were the same deal. It has been absolute radio silence for almost a week.
While I COULD have potentially started the chapter, it would have been delayed regardless because of how large a story Chaldean Chronicles is, and it needs the two of us to write it properly.
It has been four days since last contact, and it has me concerned about what is happening. For those who would say that he's probably busy or sick, we are in constant contact with each other even then. We have to be in order to try and get the chapters out, and to help give each other ideas. This is the system we have developed in the two years we have known each other, so for him to go dark for this long without giving warning or telling me ahead of time is not like him at all.
With that being said, I regret to inform everyone that for the next couple of weeks, or at least until I hear back from him, Chaldean Chronicles will be on hiatus. This is not something I take lightly, but given the circumstances, I feel there is little choice but to do so.
I just hope that this will be resolved soon, because right now my main concern isn't about getting the chapter done and uploaded. My main concern and what I really want to know is whether one of my closest friends is okay, safe and sound.
Please do not think that this will be forever. It is only temporary. I just hope that I hear from Cosmic Vlad soon, and hopefully that he is okay.
I must give thanks to all the people who have read Chaldean Chronicles to this point, and for your continued support. I hope to give you all some good news about the situation, and with any luck, I will hear back from Vlad soon.
