For The Love Of Grindeldore
A/N: Don't mind me. Just reposting and reorganizing some stuff after moving a few things to The Soft Kitty Chronicles. Dragon promises the next chapter will be something new. :)
Grindelwald looked up from his conversation with Dumbledore, his eyebrow raised as a young wolf with dragon wings approached his throne. "What the hell are you supposed to be?" he spat, eyeing the curiously mismatched creature.
"They call me Dragon," she calmly stated, taking a step forward and kneeling before the dark wizard. "I am a wolf-dragon hybrid, sir. A Dranine, given XXXX classification by the Ministry of Magic. And I have come to offer my services, Lord Grindelwald."
Grindelwald considered her for a moment then waved her aside, motioning towards the young man and his phoenix that were seated to his left. "Whatever," he muttered. "Get in line with your son."
"Thank you, sir. I am most grateful for your acceptance." Dragon got to her feet and ran towards Credence, her arms around him in a loving embrace.
"Ma," Credence said softly, a smile forming on his lips as he rested his head on her shoulder. His heart filled with gladness, shadowy tendrils seeping from his pores and coiling around her. "Be honest, Ma," he whispered when he thought the others weren't listening. "You only came here so you could watch Mr. Grindelwald and Mr. Dumbledore make out."
The Dranine let go of her son, taking a step back while glancing over her shoulder at Grindelwald. "Hush, Credence. I think they're about to kiss."
