The last day of school was on the 25th of May. James had gotten through his OWLs and was nervously awaiting the results which they would receive sometime during the summer. He always sat with Jasmine and their friends. Lily was glad that James had adjusted well to Ilvermorny.

The morning that they were to leave, Lily had packed her trunk. She hugged Brenda and Andrea. Brenda was leaving Ilvermorny as it was her last year.

Brenda said, "It was a pleasure, Lily. I hope Thomas keeps up his correspondence with you."

Lily blushed. He had taken her to the spring dance also in April, and they had color changed the dress she wore to the Christmas dance to a different color. After they took their trunks downstairs to the commons area for the house-elves to pick up, they went up to the school for a last-minute breakfast before going to the train. They all exchanged addresses, to keep in contact, though mostly with Lily since she was the only one who didn't have a phone. Lily was going to talk to her father about that.

They were getting ready to get onto the carts, when Lily heard her name being called. Lily turned and saw Thomas walking over to her. Renee smiled and said, "We'll save you a spot on the train, Lily."

Lily nodded.

Thomas said, "I was hoping to catch you before we got to the train. I've got a present for you. I messaged my parents and asked them to investigate the laws of Great Britain and modern technology. There is nothing wrong with you bringing in a phone from the United States to Great Britain. After owling your parents, I was able to purchase you a phone. I've already programed mine and Brenda's numbers into it. It's tied to my parents' plan for now."

Lily blushed, and said, "Thank you."

They took a cart together to the train station. Lily blushed when he kissed her on the cheek. In their compartment, Lily got her friends phone numbers and plugged them into the phone.

Renee said, "That was sweet of Thomas to get you your own phone."

Lily blushed more.

Deidra laughed. She said, "Lily is sweet on him."

Lily said, "I'm sure between now and the start of the school year, he'll move on."

Yolanda said who had joined their group in those last two weeks, "I highly doubt it."

Julia and Brandy agreed.

Halfway through the ride, James and Jasmine walked in. James said, "Lily, I'm sure you've met Jasmine?"

Lily said, "Of course. She showed us how to get to our dorms at the beginning of the year. Its good to see you again, Jasmine. Hope you had a good year."

Jasmine said, "It became better when I met your brother, Lily. I hope you don't mind?"

Lily said, "Nope. I think you two are good together."

Lily didn't want to say that it didn't help that Jasmine had red hair, and that James had continued the Potter curse of falling for red-haired women. She hoped that Albus would not follow that.

At the station in Boston, Lily bid her friends good-bye, and went in search of her parents after getting her trunk. Belle had already been sent ahead to Potter manor. She found them with James who was introducing them to Jasmine and her parents.

"Lily!"

Lily turned and found Thomas walking over with his parents and Brenda.

Brenda was going home for the weekend but was returning on Sunday for graduation.

Harry said, "You must be Thomas."

Thomas straightened his back and said, "Yes, sir. Thomas Branton at your service. These are my parents, Henry and Trinity Branton, and my sister, Brenda who was also your daughter's roommate. Mom, dad, this is Lord Harry James and Ginevra Molly Potter, Lily's parents, and her brother, James."

Harry shook hands with Henry and kissed Trinity's hand. He said, "A pleasure to meet you and your family, Mr. and Mrs. Branton. I would love to hear more about these mobile phones. I've already done some research into them, but if you can send me some more information. If you find it easier to send mail via non-magical post, please do so. Lily can give you our non-magical mailing address."

Lily nodded her head.

Henry said, "I will gather what information I can, Lord Potter."

Harry said, "Please call me Mr. Potter or Harry. I don't stand on formalities much with the title. It was something I inherited."

Henry nodded. They bid their good-byes. Harry shrunk James and Lily's trunks and pocketed them. He turned to the children and said, "We're going to a hotel and then taking a portkey tomorrow to England."

Lily said, "What about the Murphy's?"

Harry said, "You'll see them at the end of July. They'll be coming to England to help celebrate my birthday, and visit Mrs. Murphy, and then you two will return with them to the United States before school. They will take you school shopping over there to get your necessary books and things you may need for next year."

Lily smiled. James looked down but knew not to argue with his father. At the hotel, Lily was just coming out of the shower when her new phone rang. She looked at it and saw that it was Brenda. Confused, Lily answered it.

Brenda said, "Lily! I'm so glad I got a chance to talk to you. I don't think Thomas told you, but there is not limit on phone calls you can make on this phone. You can also send messages via it and there is no limit on that also. Just explore your phone."

Lily said, "Thank you, Brenda. How are you doing?"

Brenda said, "I'm excited. I can't wait to get my NEWT results so I can figure out what I'm going to do. I've already applied to the Healer program at Salem University, but that is dependent on the NEWT results."

Lily said, "I'm happy for you."

Brenda said, "When you guys leaving for England?"

Lily said, "Tomorrow morning. I'm nervous as I haven't seen the family since Christmas and worried about how James and Albus will react to one another since the incident in January."

Brenda said, "I'm sure everything has blown over. They are brother's after all."

Lily said, "True. Hey, I've got to go. We're going out to dinner."

Brenda said, "Okay. Just remember what I said. Also, there is an instruction booklet in the box in case you have any questions."

Lily said, "Thanks Brenda."

Lily put on a pair of nice jeans and a shirt, stepped out into the hallway, and went to her parent's rooms.

The next day, they took a portkey to England and the Ministry of Magic. That morning, Lily had woken up to her grades for the year and had managed to go from rank three to rank two in their year group. Lily smiled. Her parents beamed at her results.

Back at Potter Manor, Lily unpacked her trunk, and put her schoolbooks in her new bookshelf. Gertrude came in and shrunk her trunk and put it away for her. Lily put up her pictures that she had gotten over the course of the year of her and her friends.

Two weeks later, Lily and Ginny went to get Albus and Iris Dursley off the Hogwarts Express. Ginny would take them back to Potter Manor and then take Iris to the Dursley residence. Dudley and his wife, Constance couldn't get the day off work, and Petunia was still uncertain around magic, so Ginny had volunteered to get Iris off the train and bring her home to Petunia. James offered to stay at Potter Manor so not to create any tension amongst himself and the Hogwarts students.

James had been writing Albus since he got home and the two had come to terms with each other. Albus understood where James was coming from. An investigation further found that someone had made James push Albus down the stairs at Hogwarts, but the expulsion was irreversible. James didn't want it reversed anyways. He found he liked Ilvermorny and was doing much better in his studies there, not to mention he found Jasmine.

Lily saw that her father came home often late at night in those two weeks and sometimes went in on Sundays.

Lily smiled as she saw Iris and Albus come towards them. Hugo and Rose were also close by going towards Grandma Weasley who was picking up the two as Hermione and Ron were busy also.

Lily hugged her brother and cousin. Iris had been sorted into Ravenclaw, which wasn't a surprise considering who the Murphy family was a distant relation to the founder, which had surprised Lily when she had heard that at Christmas.

At Potter Manor, Lily tensed up when Albus and James saw each other. She knew that the two had been exchanging letters in the two weeks that Lily and James had returned to England but exchanging letters and being face to face after what happened was a whole different matter.

Albus walked forward. Lily saw James tense up. Ginny looked between the two. Iris was studying her nails as if she was bored and ready to go home.

Albus walked up to his brother, and then brushed passed him. Ginny let out a sigh of relief, but Lily knew better. She knew that Albus could be waiting until their parents weren't around to do something.

Lily said, "Mother, could Iris stay the night? I want to hear about her first year."

Ginny said, "I'll have to go and talk to Dudley and Connie, but I don't see why not if that is what Iris wants of course."

Iris' eyes lit up. She liked staying at Potter Manor and interacting with her magical cousins. Iris said, "Please, Mrs. Potter."

Lily said, "Actually instead of popping over there, why don't I call them on my phone?"

Ginny said, "I keep forgetting you've got that phone, Lily. Iris, do you know your parents' number?"

Iris nodded and gave Lily her father's cell number. Lily dialed it and let it ring.

Dudley answered right away, "Dudley Dursley speaking."

Lily giggled. She said, "Hey Dudley. Its Lily."

Dudley gasped. He said, "This is something I need to hear about how you got a phone. Thought magic didn't work around electronics."

Lily said, "Something to be discussed later. Iris has something that she wants to ask you."

Lily handed the phone over to Iris and looked at her mother. Ginny was staring at James. Albus had retreated to his room with his trunk to unpack.

Iris said, "Thank you daddy. Here is Mrs. Potter like you asked. Mrs. Potter, my father would like to talk to you."

Ginny nodded and took the phone and held it up to her ear. She said, "Yes, Dudley…A few days? Sure, if that is okay with you…Petunia just needs to get over the idea, but yes, of course we'll watch Iris until then…No problem at all. This is Lily's phone, so if you need to get a hold of Iris or one of us just call us on this number. She got it from a friend. Harry is looking into getting some imported to England."

After hanging up with Dudley, Ginny said, "Iris, you will be staying with us until Monday. Winky!"

Winky popped in and said, "Yes, Mistress?"

Ginny said, "Make up a room for Iris, please. She will be staying with us for a few days. One close to Lily, please."

Winky bowed and popped away with Iris' trunk.

Iris looked down. She said, "I'm sorry, Mrs. Potter. Grandmother just can't seem to accept that one of her grandchildren is magical. Mother and father haven't told her about Jasmine or Ivy yet."

Jasmine and Ivy were Iris' younger sisters. Twins to be exact and they would be starting Hogwarts the year after next.

Ginny said, "That's fine, Iris. One of these days, she will accept that you are still that wonderful little girl you were before finding out about being magical. Lily, how about you show Iris where she will be staying."

Lily nodded. She led Iris up the stairs and they soon found Iris' room. Lily sat on Iris bed while she unpacked some everyday clothes. Lily said, "So, what do you think about Hogwarts?"

Iris said, "Its interesting that's for sure. I think I'm bored often."

Lily bit her lower lip. A habit that she picked up from her Aunt Hermione. Iris was intelligent, and it showed even in primary. It was something she could bring up to her parents in private. Hogwarts could be limiting Iris potential.

Iris said, "What is Ilvermorny like?"

Lily said, "Exciting. I've never believed there was so much to magic. We have all our classes four days a week, in an 8-period day. And on Fridays, we have a language course, astronomy, history, and either physical education or music, depending on how they split the class."

Iris said, "Wow. You guys are kept busy."

Lily said, "I like it. Keeps me challenged."

Iris said, "I wonder if my parents would let me switch to Ilvermorny."

Lily said, "I don't see why not, but you will need to talk to them about it. It will be further away for you. If needed I can ask Mr. Murphy to come to England to talk to your parents."

Iris smiled.

They talked a little longer, and Lily was on her way to her bedroom to do some reading on her transfiguration homework, when she heard a shout come from James' room. Lily broke into a run and arrived just in time to see James' legs dancing underneath him and Albus' wand pointed at him.

Lily said, "Albus! What is wrong with you?"

Albus ended the hex. He walked over to his brother and pulled him into a hug. He said, "I had to get you back for January. I forgive you but had to do something."

Lily sighed. They had known this was coming but wasn't sure when.

Winky popped in then and said that supper was served.

Downstairs, Lily saw her father was home. She ran to him and hugged him. Harry hugged him back. He saw that Iris was still there.

Harry said, "Hello Iris. Thought you would be off back to your parents?"

Ginny said, "Iris wanted to stay a few days, so we used Lily's new phone and called Dudley and got permission."

She gave Harry a pointed look to let the matter drop. Harry knew then that it was concerning Petunia and that she was probably visiting Dudley and his family, and was not comfortable around Iris still.

Harry said, "Well, glad to have you for a few days, Iris. I'm sure Lily will be glad to have another girl to talk to. I'm sure we can get Hugo and Rose over tomorrow also to give Molly a break."

Iris said, "Thank you, Harry."

Supper was delicious. Winky really outdid herself. She had taken over most of the duties from Kreacher who they had to limit his responsibilities due to his age.

After supper, Harry pulled James and Albus into his study. Iris went into her room to work on her homework, and Lily stayed with her mother. She said, "Mum, I need to talk to you. There was an incident at the end of the school year."

Ginny said, "Everything alright dear?"

Lily said, "I'm fine. I just helped discover what had been going on all year to a girl in my year. Yolanda Sampson had been abused by a teacher."

Ginny's eyes grew wide. She said, "This wasn't one of your everyday teachers was it?"

Lily shook her head. She said, "He taught third year charms, but he's been arrested."

Ginny said, "Thank god. Now how does this affect you?"

Lily said, "I think he might've tried to lure me into his office at the beginning of the year by claiming to be my head of house, but they don't have those at Ilvermorny. We have teachers who are assigned to our dorm buildings who act kind of like a head of house. Girls get a woman teacher and boys get a man teacher. Well, I showed the note to Renee and we took it to our dorm mother as she is called. I was told he was put on probation."

Ginny hugged her daughter.
