Chapter 123: The Angel vs the She Devil!
"We have a special match here today folks! It's Fairy Tail versus Fairy Tail! On one side is the famous Angel of Fairy Tail, Dante Strauss. Facing him is his little sister, the infamous She Devil of Fairy Tail. Both Strauss siblings practice powerful take over magic and are considered some of Fairy Tail's elite, both being S-class wizards. You are not going to want to miss this fight" shouted the announcer in an excited tone. As Dante walked into the arena and faced against his sexy little sister, he could hear the excitement growing from the crowd.
"Hey that is Mira the popular model from Sorcerer Weakly" stated one of the crowd members.
"Yah I hear that you should not be fooled by that sweet expression. Mira apparently is flightily powerful; she's not called the She Devil for nothing" responded the crowd member sitting next to the first.
"Well don't forget about Dante, he's called the Angel of Fairy Tail. He's also a wizard saint they wouldn't make a weakling a wizard saint" responded the first crowd member. More crowd members stated their excitement about the upcoming fight.
"I heard that those two are actually engaged to be married" stated another crowd member.
"Really? You mean that they are in an incestuous relationship" asked a nearby crowd member.
"Yah from what I hear Dante actually is fucking both his little sister in addition to serval other women" responded the crowd member.
"Damn, lucky bastard" responded the other crowd member as he looked at Dante with jealous eyes.
"Looks like everyone is excited to see us fight" stated Mira in her signature sweet tone. Despite knowing that this battle was going to be challenging, Dante smiled back at his little sister as he responded.
"Looks like it. I hope you know Mira that I'm not going to hold back" responded Dante with a wide smile. He knew that Mira was one of the few members of Fairy Tail that he could fight all out against.
"Hehe the same goes for me big brother. Just because we are engaged to be married doesn't mean I am going to go easy on you" responded Mira in her signature sweet tone. As the two Strauss siblings prepared for battle, they heard the cries of Markov from the stands.
"This is terrible! If those two go all out against each other the damage would be unthinkable" cried out Markov as he feared the amount of apologies and paperwork he would have to do if Dante and Mira destroyed the arena. Laughing at Master Markov words, Dante and Mira then locked eyes with one another as they waited for the announcer to begin the match.
"The match between Dante Strauss of Fairy Tail team a and Mira Strauss of Fairy Tail team b starts now" shouted the announcer in an excited tone as the bell sounded the start of the battle. The moment the match started, Dante and Mira both activated their takeover magic and transformed.
"Angel Soul Gabriel" shouted Dante as he transformed. A large amount of holy energy radiated from his body as he stood against Mira.
"Satan Soul" shouted Mira as she transformed. A large amount of dark energy radiated from her body as she stood against Dante.
The crowd fell silent as Dante and Mira both spread their wings wide. After a moment of silence as Dante and Mira both sized the other up, they lunged at one another. Using their powerful wings, Dante and Mira flew at each other, meeting midair with a thundering crash. Their fist met each other which created a shockwave that sent up a strong gust of wind.
While they were flying in midair, Dante and Mira started to exchange a flurry of blows. The crowd was going wild as Dante and Mira fought midair, their powerful strikes sending constant shockwaves across the arena. Trying to gain the upper hand, Dante used his wings to fly behind Mira. This plan did not work since Mira could match Dante's speed with her own wings. The two of them flew across the sky above the arena as they continued to exchange powerful blows.
"This is incredible! The power they are displaying is unreal and they haven't even used magical attacks yet" shouted the announcer as everyone watched in awe. Dante and Mira had wide smiles on their faces as they continued to feel each other's strength out. After a short while Dante and Mira flew away from each other, both hovering in the air.
"I think that is enough of a warmup, don't you Mira" asked Dante with an excited smile. Despite having to fight his incredibly strong little sister, Dante enjoyed the challenge.
"Hehe yah we should both get serious now big brother" responded Mira with a similar excited smile. After saying this the two Strauss siblings radiated a large amount of magical energy as they prepared to really start the fight. Dante pointed his hand towards Mira as he shouted.
"Heaven's Ray" yelled Dante as a powerful beam of holy energy raced towards Mira. Using her wings, Mira was able to easily dodge it which was what Dante was planning on. Since Dante knew Mira so well, he was able to predict where she would fly to when she dodged his attack. Using his wings, Dante flew towards the spot Mira was going to be while charging up holy energy in his fist.
"Heaven's fist" yelled Dante as he aimed a punch charged with holy energy towards Mira. Just as Dante was about to land his punch Mira smiled as she caught his fist in her hand. Gripping onto his fist tightly, preventing Dante from flying away. Mira then channeled a large portion of her magical energy as she started to speak.
"Evil Spark" yelled Mira as her dark magic channeled through her hand in the form of lighting and shot through Dante's body.
Dante yelled in pain as his body was assaulted by a powerful electric shock. As Dante was reeling from the powerful shock, Mira then followed up her attack by delivering a spinning kick which sent Dante crashing into the crowd. A large cloud of smoke was kicked up as Dante crashed into the ground, which obscured Mira's view of him. While he was in pain from the powerful hits that Mira just landed on him, Dante was far from finished. Using his wings, Dante flew out of the smoke cloud rocketing towards Mira.
"I'm not done yet" yelled Dante as he flew into Mira. The two of them once again met midair as they traded a flurry of blows. The crowd watched in awe as Dante and Mira flew quickly around the air while trying to land a successful hit on the other. Smiling as he got an idea, Dante channeled magic power to prepare to cast a spell.
"Light of Heaven" yelled Dante as his body shone with blinding holy light. Since Mira was close enough to punch him, she was hit by the full blinding force of the light. Seeing that his attack worked, and Mira was temporarily blinded, Dante took advantage as he channeled another large portion of his magical power.
"Heaven's Fist Barrage" yelled Dante as he hit Mira with serval powerful punches charged with holy energy. Mira grunted in pain as each hit landed, until the final hit in Dante's powerful barrage sent her crashing into the ground. Knowing that this was a rare opportunity, Dante didn't let up for a second as he prepared another magical attack.
"Tempest of Heaven" yelled Dante as he channeled his magical energy into his spread out wings. Flexing his wings towards where Mira went crashing into the ground, a powerful tempest charged with holy energy flew towards her. The ground was torn apart as the tempest crashed into the ground.
"Amazing! Is this the end for the She Devil" shouted the announcer as Dante's powerful attack tore apart a large portion of the arena. Shortly after the announcer said this, Mira used her wings to wipe away the resulting smoke cloud as she gathered a large amount of dark energy. Dante swore as he recognized the stance that Mira was taking as he took a similar stance.
"Soul Extinctor" yelled Mira as she used one of her most powerful attacks in her Satan Soul form. A powerful all-consuming blast of dark magical energy rocketed towards Dante who didn't have enough time to dodge the large blast. Dante's only option was to meet the attack with one of equal strength.
"Cannon of Heaven" yelled Dante as he used one of his most powerful attacks in his Angel Soul Gabriel form. A powerful all-consuming blast of holy energy crashed into Mira's magical attack.
The ground shook as the two magical attacks crashed into one another. Dante and Mira both struggled to gain the upper hand as they channeled more and more power into their powerful magical attacks. After serval moments the two magical attacks became unstable, and a large explosion ripped apart the stadium. The arena was consumed with a bright light as Dante and Mira were both hit from eh powerful explosion resulting from their attacks.
"Incredible! The magical power from these two is unreal" shouted the announcer as the crowd waited on bated breath as the smoke from the large explosion cleared. When the smoke cleared, the crowd saw Dante and Mira both standing some distance away from each other. Both of them were obviously damaged by the large explosion but were still standing and ready to continue the fight.
"Amazing Mira. You are really pushing me to new heights" stated Dante with a smile. He was happy that Mira had regained her fighting spirit after such a long time. Mira smiled back at Dante as she responded.
"Hehe you too big brother. This is fun" responded Mira in her signature sweet tone which was a little unnerving coming from Mira in her Satan Soul form.
"How about we really start taking this fight seriously" asked Dante with a smile.
"Hehe that sounds good to me" responded Mira. Hearing these words, Dante and Mira heard Markov cry in the crowd since he knew what was coming next. Channeling his magical power, Dante activated his take over magic.
"Arch Angel Soul, Michael" shouted Dante as he transformed. The air was heavy from the immense magical power that was radiating from his body.
"Satan Soul Sitri" shouted Mira as she transformed into her most powerful take over form. Just like Dante, Mira made the air heavy with the immense dark energy radiating from her body. Still not done with his power up Dante started to speak.
"Heavenly Reequip, Sword of David" shouted Dante as he summoned the holy sword. His magical power multiplied serval times over as he held onto the hold blade. Taking a combat stance, Dante then flew towards Mira.
Mira used her enhanced speed in her Sitri form to dodge Dante's attack just as the holy sword was about to make contact with her. The two of them flew quickly around the air at such a high speed that most crowd members could only see two blurs. Over and over again Dante and Mira traded powerful blows, their attacks shaking the ground. Each of them were able to land successful hits and soon they were breathing heavily while standing some distance away from each other.
Dante and Mira were breathing heavily, both heavily damaged and exhausted from the fight. As they watched each other while trying to catch their breath, they both knew that the battle would be decided soon. After catching his breath, Dante channeled holy energy into the sword of David and swung it at Mira.
"Holy Slash" yelled Dante as a powerful arch of holy energy flew from the sword of David and towards Mira.
The ground was slashed apart as Dante's attack flew towards Mira. Mira was still tired just barely able to dodge the quick incoming attack. Using the last of his magical energy, Dante channeled it into his wings to enhance his speed. Quickly flying, Dante appeared behind Mira. Unable to react in time, Mira could only react with her own attack. Dante slashed at Mira with his sword while Mira sent a powerful kick towards Dante. The two of them went flying in opposite directions as they reverted back to their normal forms.
"Wow both competitors are almost completely out of magical power and are on the ground. The first one to stand up will likely be the winner" shouted the announcer as Dante and Mira struggled to their feet. Both heavily damaged, Dante and Mira summoned all of their willpower to try and stand. After a short while, Dante and Mira were standing but were clearly on their last legs. They both were breathing heavily as the crowd was silent. Suddenly Mira collapsed backwards, and the fight was over.
"Incredible! The fight is over! The winner is Fairy Tail team a, Dante Strauss has won the match" shouted the announcer as the crowd went wild. Dante looked around the crowd cheering his name. Looking towards his team he smiled as Natsu cheered loudly along with Gray and Erza. He was standing in the middle of a destroyed arena, the ground torn apart as Dante started to speak.
"I'm going to take a rest now" stated Dante to himself as he collapsed onto his back. Fighting, Mira took everything he had, and Dante could already feel himself drifting off into sleep. He could still hear the cheering crowd as Dante fell asleep from exhaustion.
