Chapter 330: Winter Joins Fairy Tail
"Is everyone alright" asked Dante between deep breaths. They were transported to the boat just in time thanks to Mest's teleportation magic. Looking around Dante was relieved to see that all of Team Natsu had made it onto the boat. After getting confirmation from team Natsu that they were fine, Dante turned his attention towards Mest and continued to speak.
"What about you Mest? How are you holding up" asked Dante in a concerned tone since Mest looked in bad shape. Mest had been beaten badly by Brandish and on top of his injuries Mest just had to expend a large amount of magical energy teleporting everyone away. Mest took a moment to catch his breath before he started to speak.
"I'll be fine, just give me a moment. Let me rest and then I can jump us to the place where the double agent is waiting for us" responded Mest in a breathless tone. Nodding his head in understanding, Dante started to speak.
"Okay just don't push yourself, we still want you in one piece" responded Dante, glad that Mest was largely okay. After Dante said these words Lucy gasped with shock as she started to speak.

Deciding to not think about the coming war for now, Dante knew that he just needed to focus on bringing Markov back home. Turning to face Team Natsu, Dante started to shout to them.
"Alright everyone we are setting sail. We need to get away from here before enemy reinforcements show up. Once Mest is rested enough we will make a jump using his magic" shouted Dante to Team Natsu. Everyone expect the Dragon Slayers and Mest were soon busy making preparations to set sail. Dante let out a sigh of relief as the boat started to sail away, for now they had avoided danger. As the boat rocked along the waves, Dante approached Erza and Lucy on the deck.
"Are you two alright? That Marin guy didn't do anything to you two while you were in his dimension did he" asked Dante with a concerned tone. Erza and Lucy both confirmed that they were fine, and Dante breathed a sigh of relief as he continued to speak.
"That's good to hear. Stay alert you two. We don't know if Brandish is going to change her mind and start pursing us" stated Dante as he walked away in order to check on the rest of the team. For about an hour the team sailed along the waves until Mest finally stepped back onto the deck.
"Okay everyone I'm rested enough to make the jump" stated Mest, he was in much better shape than he was an hour ago. Nodding his head in understanding Dante made sure the anchor was dropped so the boat didn't drift while they were gone.
"Alright everyone you know the drill. Hold onto Mest" shouted Dante to the rest of Team Natsu. Soon Dante and the others were holding onto Mest as he channeled his magical power. "Where are we" asked Lucy in a curious tone as she looked around.
"My informant has access to a moving underwater base; this is how she was able to avoid detection despite being found out" responded Mest between deep breathes.
"Are you going to be okay" asked Dante, concerned for his friend. Nodding his head, Mest started to speak.
"Yah I'll be fine, just need to catch my breath" responded Mest in a tired tone. Nodding his head in understanding, Dante started to speak.
"Don't hesitate to ask for magical power if you need it. I've got plenty to spare" responded Dante.
"Noted, thanks. Let's get going, my informant should be through those doors" responded Mest in a tired tone.
"I wonder who it is" asked Wendy in a curious tone. Dante had to agree with Wendy, he was also curious who this mystery informant was that betrayed the Alvarez Empire and wanted to join Fairy Tail. Walking through the doors, Dante and the others saw a tall and fair skinned young woman with blue eyes and long white hair.
"I was staring to wonder if you had been captured" stated the mystery woman.
"We ran into some trouble but managed to get away. Sorry if we made you wait" responded Mest. Dante was staring at the mystery woman, he felt she looked familiar somehow even though he was sure that this was the first time they met. Seeing Dante's stare, the mystery woman turned her attention towards Dante and started to speak.
"I suspect you are thinking that I look familiar to you" stated the mystery woman to Dante with a playful smile.
"Yah I am. I can't place it, but you look familiar even though I've never met you before" responded Dante still trying to figure out why he thought the mystery woman looked familiar. Still giving Dante a playful smile, the mystery woman started to speak.
"Do you not see the family resemblance" asked the mystery woman in a playful tone.
"Family resemblance, I don't under" responded Dante before he trialed off as the dots inside his brain finally connected. With a look of sudden realization, Dante continued to speak.
"Wait hold on, are you related to Weiss" asked Dante thinking that the mystery woman looked like an older version of Weiss. Nodding her head, the mystery woman started to speak.
"Yes I am. My name is Winter, and I am Weiss's long lost older sister" responded Winter with a smile. While the rest of team Natsu gasped at these words, Dante started to speak.
"I don't understand. Weiss told me her family died a long time ago" responded Dante in a surprised tone.
"That is what I believed as well for the longest time. A long time ago the village where Weiss and I lived with our family was attacked by dark wizards. Weiss and I were separated and for a long time I believed that I was the only surviving member of my family. Through circumstance I found myself in the Alvarez Empire where I rose through the ranks of the army. About a year ago I heard that Weiss was alive and had joined a guild called Fairy Tail, ever since I've been dedicated to helping Fiore against the Alvarez Empire" responded Winter with a smile. Smiling back at Winter, Dante started to speak.
"That's quite a tale, we're grateful for your help. Master Markov means a lot to us" responded Dante with a grateful smile. Nodding her head in understanding, Winter started to speak.

After Winter said these words she went on to explain to the team how to sneak into the Alvarez Empire and also informed them where Markov currently was and that he was alive and well. Breathing a sigh relief, Dante started to speak.
"I'm glad to hear that Master Markov is okay. Fairy Tail is in your debt Winter" responded Dante with a grateful smile.
"If that's the case does this mean I would be allowed to join Fairy Tail" asked Winter in a hopeful tone. Nodding his head, Dante started to speak.
"Of course, you can join Winter. As the seventh guild master of Fairy Tail I officially welcome you as a member of Fairy Tail. Where would you want your guild tattoo" asked Dante in a friendly tone. Soon Winter had a guild tattoo, showing that she was now a member of Fairy Tail.
"We should get back to the ship. Don't forget we still need to sail to where Markov is" stated Mest while Dante nodded his head in understanding. Soon Dante and the rest of Team Natsu were teleported back to the ship. Standing on the deck of the ship, Dante turned his attention towards everyone present and started to speak.
"Okay everyone, now we set sail or the Alvarez Empire. Next stop is to recuse Master Markov" shouted Dante as the rest of the team cheered. Setting the proper course, Dante was determined to make sure Markov was brought home safely no matter what. As the boat sailed along the waves, Dante retired to a cabin since the journey would take a day and a half. While Dante was resting in his cabin, he heard a knock on the door.
"That didn't take long" stated Dante with a smile thinking that either Erza or Lucy wanted to join him in his cabin. Dante was surprised when he opened the door and found Winter waiting for him of the other side.
"Oh hey Winter, do you need something" asked Dante in a curious tone. Winter gave Dante a playful smile as she started to speak.
"Is it alright if I talk to you inside your cabin master" asked Winter with a playful smile. Dante felt a jolt of arousal when Winter called him master.
