"So…Sensei is terrifying and I'm not sure if I should tell him that fact or not," Ann said as she stirred her coffee. They decided to hang out at the cafe. It was nice and relaxing after the palace. Ren was running a bit late since he was buying some new weapons for everyone.

"What happened?" Makoto asked as she looked up from her notebook.

"Well…."

"Why don't you bend a little more and unzip your jacket just a little?"

Ann shifted uncomfortable against the railing. She was doing a photoshoot outside of the mall but it felt off to her. She didn't know the photographer and director as well as some of the others she worked with in the past. This one was getting a little creepy.

"Uhh…Why?"

"Come on, Ann…you know what sells…" The director said with that look.

She was about five seconds from punching that look off his creepy face.

Then she saw a shadow over the director's shoulder. She glanced over to see Sensei standing behind him.

"Sensei!" She shouted.

The director and the photographer jumped and turned around. Sensei gave them a small smile.

Over the past couple of months, she has gotten really good at reading Sensei's facial expressions. Well, the ones that he shows….

He didn't have a lot but…..

She knew that smile. It wasn't his amused smile.

No, it was the one that made shadows hide under tables.

Good thing that it wasn't directed at her.

"Excuse me but I believe that you are making my student uncomfortable," Sensei said with that smile.

"Tsk…she's fine. Aren't you, Ann-chan?" The director said offhand.

She shifted uncomfortably but she gave the director a look.

"She looks like she is about to punch you," Sensei said when he glanced over Ann.

The director turned and looked at her.

"She wouldn't do that! She is under contract!"

"I'm not. So, I have no problem punching you," Sensei said mildly to the director.

The director and the photographer just stopped and stared.

"I…I will call the police?" The director said in a panic. Sensei pulled something out of his pocket.

"Okay then I show them my contract, I suppose."

"Contract?"

"Yes. I started tutoring Ann awhile back. Of course, I signed a contract. I found a line that was quite interesting. Other duties assigned. Would you like to know what "those duties" are?" Sensei said as he held out a piece of paper.

The director and photographer turned pale.

"Uhh…I think that we got enough pictures for today." The director said.

The photographer nodded his head. She never seen people move so fast in her life.

Sensei watched them leave then turned to her.

"So, Lita is getting some crepes for us. Would you like to join us?"

"I mean…he didn't need to do it but I'm glad that he did. However, how did he find out my schedule?" Ann asked.

Futaba looked up from her curry.

"Support buddy knows all."

"I'm sure that Sensei has his methods…." Makoto added.

"Creepy ninja methods," Futaba mumbled.

"Tell me about it. I'm still not sure how he knew about the coach. I mean…Ren and I dealt with it but….," Ryuji said.

Ryuji stared at the letter. One of the teachers handed it to him after lunch. They didn't say what was in it or who it was from.

Just made the note that it was from his old coach.

Then another teacher dropped off another letter.

This time from the current coach of the track team.

By the time he reached his deck, he had a pile of letters.

The letters were from his former teams

They almost always started the same way….

Ryuji…

Ryuji…

Sakamoto….

Sakamoto-san….

It was just too weird.

The team said they were sorry. Some of the teachers and coaches did too but…this was so strange. Maybe, Ren did something….

Quickly, he sent a text to Ren to ask.

Ren: I didn't do anything. You were there too.

He frowned at the text.

Then he sent another text.

Ryuji: Did you say anything to anybody?

Ren: No.

Ren: Did you say anything to Ann or Sensei?

Ryuji: Don't think so?

He didn't think that Ann said anything because she already knew about what happened.

Quickly, he sent a text to Sensei.

When Sensei didn't answer, he put his phone and the letters away.

It wasn't until after school that he saw Sensei's message.

Sensei: Yes.

Sensei: I take it that you got the letters. Good.

Sensei: I figure that words will speak to you more than actions.

His eyes widened at the words on the screen. He remembered their actions and words….he remembered the pain in his leg.

His hand reached down and rubbed his leg.

When he got home, he read those damn letters. Some of them were generic. Others spoke to him and for the first time in a while, he started to cry.

"Wow….Sensei did that?" Ann said in awe.

Ryuji nodded as he stared at his curry.

"Why…he didn't need to? Ren and I handled it. It is over…I mean…."

"He is Sensei…and….I," Makoto said.

"He found some of my mom's early research," Futaba said softly.

The group paused and something crashed on the ground. The group turned and looked at Boss.

"It…it dropped," Boss mumbled before disappearing behind the counter.

"The research part didn't matter as much but…she wrote things in the margins. It was about me…and…" Futaba said.

It was a nice innocent box. It had a sticky note on top of it.

From Support Buddy

She opened it to reveal…paper?

She picked up the first sheet and started reading.

It looked like mom's research. She can recall her mom's handwriting anywhere.

She started looking through the pages. Nothing that she didn't already know. So, why did Sensei send these….? Why?

Then she found a little note in the margins.

She kicked today.

She dropped the sheet of paper on the bed in shock. Her hands were shaking as she picked it up again.

I can tell that she is going to be a problem.

Few pages later, she wrote…

She already knows what spots to hit.

She let out a giggle.

She didn't bother with the research notes but her eyes were glued to her mom's words.

I hate the smell of lavender now.

I cannot see my feet anymore.

There were comments about curry, coffee, and dad. They were comments about her and her development. Everything would be neutral because her daughter will decide the path she will walk.

By the last page, she was sobbing.

She didn't have much of her mom's stuff left. Her uncle made sure of that. She wasn't sure how Support Buddy got these papers but….

She picked up her phone and sent a text.

Futaba: I'm not sure who you needed to kill but you are awful, Support Buddy.

Support Buddy: You're welcome.

"That is amazing," Ann said in awe.

"How did he get a hold of it?" Makoto asked.

"I'm not sure…oh…uhh….dad? Do you want a copy? Mom made some notes about you," Futaba asked as she turned to Boss.

Boss shook his head no as he removed his glasses.

"No…No…It's fine. I'm going to get something out back," Boss said as he scrambled to the back of the café.

Then the group heard the door open. Makoto turned around to see Yusuke, Mishima and Haru come inside.

"Hello, everyone." Yusuke said.

"Hey, guys…what are you guys talking about?" Mishima asked as they gathered around their table.

"Sensei is terrifying," Ryuji said.

"You didn't make him mad, did you? My ex-fiancé had a meeting with him and made him mad. And well..." Haru said with horror.

She watched him stumble out of her father's office. His face was pale and sweaty. What did father say to him?

"I do hope that you have a good day," Sensei's voice said.

"I will tell my father about this! You and Okumura-san will be ruined! Then Okumura-san will beg me to marry his daughter! Beg me!"

She watched as Sensei came into view and she saw Sensei's face. She felt herself become cold.

It was a look that she never saw before.

"You threaten a friend and one of my students. There will be no begging involved," Sensei said coolly.

"Should let me cut him up. I know where to hide the body," Ume's voice said behind him.

Her ex-fiancé had the sense to finally flee.

"He is scary when he is mad. Although, I couldn't tell you if he was mad or disappointed. Both of them are scary. He gave me this look when I wasn't eating. Well…now, Ms. Lila and Mr. Theodore have my number and they call to make sure that I have eaten for the day. He is ruthless," Mishima said with a nod.

"Very," Yusuke added.

"No…No…! Sensei is terrifying to other people!" Ryuji explained.

"That too."

"Yes, he scared the principal into giving me my reference for school," Makoto added.

"He was withholding it?" Haru said to Makoto with a frown.

"Yes…."

"Sir…." Makoto said as she kept her tone even. She didn't know why she was here again. He already made the point to tell her that she wasn't going to get a letter of reference from him. After everything, she didn't want one from him. Sure, it would help her get into her dream school but she didn't need him to do it.

Personally, she wanted to climb over the desk and stab him with his pencils.

Lila has the right idea at times.

His beady eyes glanced at her. He was wiping his sweaty forehead with a napkin.

"I have something for you…" The principal said with a mumble. He handed her an envelope across his desk.

"What is this?"

"Your letter of reference."

She frowned as she took the envelope.

"I thought that you made it clear…."

The principal coughed and mumbled.

"Your tutor paid me a visit and he said some truly enlightening things. It made me realize the error in my judgement."

Sensei did this?

She didn't say anything….

She watched as the principal's eyes darted around and he looked like he was sweating even more if that was possible.

Sensei must have terrified him.

She felt a little bit…smug about it.

"Why thank you, sir. I won't disappoint," She said as she stood up and bow.

"I…I know you won't!" The principal said in a panic.

As she left the office, she could have sworn that she heard the principal begging for mercy over the phone.

Everyone stared at Makoto.

"Sensei is so scary," Ann said.

"Very scary. What do you think he said?" Haru asked Makoto.

"Something scary?" Mishima said with a nod.

"Probably. He is a picture of a warrior. I'm very thankful for what he said to one of my upperclassmen," Yusuke said.

"What did he say?"

"I'm sorry," A voice said behind him. He turned around from his painting to see a familiar upperclassman standing over his shoulder.

"About?" He said calmly. It was the same student who compared him to Madarame. How many fakes did he hide in his room? How he deserves not be here? He was a fake just like his former Master.

Most days, he ignored it.

Other days…it was rough.

"About what I said….about you and Madarame…." The upperclassman said with a bow.

"I…thank you?" He said in confusion.

He didn't know what prompted this change.

"Can I ask what happened?"

"Your patron came to visit me…and he is sort of terrifying?"

"Sensei?"

The upperclassman nodded his head.

"He might have heard me and told me off in the nicest and scariest way possible. When he said that, it made sense. It wasn't your fault. I know that now but I guess…I barely got in. I thought that this cheat came in with some fakes. I'm just blaming you for my mistakes. I'm really sorry."

He stared at him and wondered what Sensei said to cause this.

It made his chest feel warm.

"Thank you for telling me. Your apology is accepted."

"Wow…." Haru said in awe.

"Man…what the hell? Is Sensei some type of demon?" Ryuji added.

"That is up for debate." Futaba said.

"Terrifying…"

The group heard a crash from the kitchen.

"Are you okay?" Makoto asked.

"Oh…I'm fine. I'm not paying attention." Boss shouted from the back.

The group could swear that they heard a cough then a laugh.
