Gurimon is a wild eyed digimon with red horns on his head, spikes forming behind them. Other than that, he's just a little fluffball that Hook has to hold on to or risk losing permanently because he's so tiny. He, well, they are both still getting used to the Digiworld, and all of the dangers and wonders that seem to go hand in hand with it. There's a group of digidestined not far away, but Hook can only stand being around so many people and digimon for so long before he feels like he's about to claw his own face off, so he'd snuck away, gotten some distance, gotten some air.

He's overlooking a small village just visible from this cliff when he hears something behind him, and Gurimon lets out a strange, desperate sort of chirping noise. Hook tenses immediately and turns, looking up at the massive shadow dropping down over him. Even with all of his training, there really is very little even he can do against most digimon , especially when his own partner is still at its youngest form. "...ah shit," he breathes out, moving quickly to get Gurimon somewhere safe, somewhere where he won't be -

It's too late, Hook's breath leaves him in a wheeze as he's gripped tightly around the waist, hoisted up until he's eye to eye with the mechanical digimon glowering at him. "No one taught you not to leave your fellow digidestined, hm?" He sneers. Squeezes Hook tighter, turns and begins to stomp off.

The energy is leaving Hook, his vision fading with each breath he loses. All he can do is hang limply in this creature's grip and hope, hope beyond all measure, that Gurimon will be ok. That the other digidestined will find him, will figure this out.

Orange is squinting past his sunglasses at the terrain before them, trying to spot anything that might need their attention, when something squeaks at his feet, hopping around desperately. Despair clear in its voice. He turns his focus onto it, frowning harder as he attempts to recognize the creature. "Gurimon?" he finally asks, recognizing it as Hook's partner. "Hey, what's going on? Where's Hook?" He kneels down and picks the little creature up, holding him close and frowning when he sees the tears filling his eyes, dripping sluggishly down his face. "Dammit," he breathes, realizing.

Getting to his feet, Orange looks around. "Anyone seen Hook?" he calls out, that sense of foreboding growing as a chorus of denials echo back at him. "Crap," he mumbles, hugging Gurimon closer. "It's ok," he soothes the crying creature. "We'll find him. We will."
