"What do you think?" I admire the slate gray Volvo.
"It's nice," Bella says, shrugging. "Did you decide to swap from a truck to an SUV?"

"Yeah." I palm my nape. "It's better for Mase. Safer."
Recognition dawns.
So I rush to add. "We'd discussed it before the accident."
"Gotcha." She looks over it once more, giving me a teasing smile. "Sure you don't want the red one?"
I grin, playful. "To match yours?"
"Hey," she says, giggling. "The other Bella picked it."
I sigh.

A couple of things...
Just because you don't read it, doesn't mean other situations/convos aren't happening.. i.e. Her and Esme building a relationship, E catching her up abt the wreck, the drunk driver, her job before... these are things that should be assumed he's shared or have been implied from his POV (in Esme case). 100 words is hard, so I focus them on very fine point stuff, but there are many moments we can imagine are also happening.
No BPOV-ever hahahaha
They're engaged, wedding was later this year.
Edward is an architect, Bella was a freelance writer.
