"I still think this is a bad idea."
"Your thoughts are duly noted."
"I am serious, James."
"So am I, Glynda."
James Ironwood has done his best to not find himself at odds with Glynda Goodwitch but this is one of those times it was inevitable.
"I can see that but did you really have to bring a whole fleet?"
Watching the skies of Vale from Ozpin's tower on a Saturday morning, James, Glynda, and Ozpin, looked at the huge metal ships approaching the city of Vale.
"That's…half a fleet actually. The rest will come together with Amity." James answers slowly, avoiding Glynda's gaze and opting to drink his coffee.
Hmmm, Atlesian Black. Now that's some proper coffee.
"James!" Glynda shouts indignantly, ruining James' appreciation of his morning brew.
"What do you want me to do, Glynda?" He sighs out tiredly, placing the cup of coffee on top of Ozpin's desk.
Glynda turns her sight away from the fleet to glower at him.
"I want you to take your half a fleet out of here and stick it up your-
"Glynda!" Ozpin interrupts, looking apologetically at James' own raised eyebrow.
"Ahem, excuse me. I apologize for my lack of control. I lost myself for a moment there." Glynda apologizes though James has the feeling she isn't quite as sorry as she was saying.
James only nods at that however even as Ozpin sighs exasperatedly.
"Division among us will only serve our enemies. Still, what's done is done. For better or for worse, Atlas forces are already here. We might as well make the most of it."
"Thank you, Ozpin. I'm glad you see it that way." James smiles at his friend for his support but Ozpin's next words sour his mood.
"That makes one of us, James."
"Ozpin, please. Surely you could see this is necessary."
"I think it is, as the young ones would call it, overkill."
"The people want to feel safe, Ozpin."
"And you think your fleet gives them that?"
"I think when people look at the sky and see my ships they feel secure. They see someone who would act to protect them."
"Oh James, despite your maturity I still seem to forget that you are young compared to me."
"Say what you mean, Ozpin."
"Peace, I do not mean to insult you but take it from someone who has been around for a long time. You are right that when people see your fleet they see someone who would protect them."
James nods at that but he lets Ozpin continue, intrigued on what his old friend has to say.
"The problem however is the thought that sneaks in the back of everyone's mind. With a fleet that size just who or what are they being protected from? What kind of monster would merit a force like that?"
James Ironwood was a soldier through and through but even he knew he had to view things from the perspective of a civilian from time to time. As a soldier, it was easy to dismiss questions and doubts like that but unfortunately, Ozpin was right.
With those types of questions festering in the back of every civilian's minds, it is only a matter of time before it breeds doubt and doubt will inevitably breed fear. Fear that will then attract the Grimm.
He mulls at that thought as he looks at Ozpin before sighing to himself.
"What do you suggest we do? We can't bring in more troops lest we escalate the public's fears but we can't do nothing."
He perks up when he sees Ozpin smile.
"We aren't doing nothing, in fact, we might have found a way to wake up Amber."
"What?" He blurts out immediately as his eyes widen in surprise.
This is great news! If they manage to wake up Amber then she can assist them in defending Vale and identify her attackers.
"Jaune Arc-"
"No, absolutely not."
The words come straight out of his mouth before he could even think about it upon hearing that name.
"Oh? You didn't even let me finish." Ozpin raises an eyebrow at him but James only clenches his hand.
"The boy is suspicious, Ozpin."
"He is hardly suspicious, James." Ozpin rolls his eyes at him to James' growing irritation.
"He faked his transcripts and if Glynda's reports are correct he was even caught sneaking into a White Fang meeting. He is an infiltrator."
Ozpin and Glynda look at each other before laughing at the same time.
"This is serious!" He shouts, going so far to slam his hand on Ozpin's table.
"I-I'm sorry, James. It's just that the thought of Jaune Arc being an infiltrator is such a laughable notion that I couldn't stop myself." Ozpin speaks, wiping a tear from his eye as a twitch forms on James' forehead.
"Ozpin!"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but you have to understand. I've had Arcs in my inner circle even before I became the last king of Vale, they have always been the most trustworthy and reliable sort of people." Ozpin replies with a smile, his gaze lost in melancholy.
James shakes his head sadly at that.
"That was then, Ozpin. This is now. You don't know if they have been compromised."
"I know, but I would put my trust into one once again. I hope you can trust me in this old friend."
James sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose in resignation.
"Alright, but I want it on record that I have doubts about this course of action."
"Your thoughts are duly noted but thank you, James."
"Just tell me about him." He waves at him tiredly.
Ozpin only smiles before nodding at Glynda to continue.
"Ahem, Jaune Arc. He was the worst fighter of his year but has been recently undergoing massive improvement. This improvement includes his Semblance, Aura Amplification, which we believe amplifies the effects of Aura. Strength, Speed, Healing, Defense and Amount, you name it."
"That….is certainly an impressive Semblance. You believe him using it on Amber could heal her?" James' eyebrow rises at that.
If Jaune Arc could do that then he could certainly see why Ozpin would have his eye on him.
Although now that James is thinking about it, if proven trustworthy then he could definitely aid in some of Atlas' projects. Especially the projects headed by Dr. Polendina who is an expert on Aura himself.
"It has been confirmed by both Professor Peach and Nurse Tsune that his Semblance allows one to heal from their injuries as shown in the case of Mr. Ren, whose injuries rapidly healed."
"I see….Tell me about his….personality."
"This again, James?"
"I just want to know how he is as a person."
"Fine…to my own surprise, Jaune Arc has displayed fine leadership abilities in handling his team to victory-"
As Glynda continues to extoll Jaune Arc's virtues to him, James was already thinking of what to do. As General of Atlas he would be remiss in his duties if he at least does not have someone investigate Jaune Arc.
Luckily for him, he had such a person who would do it for him without alerting anyone else. Besides, Winter would surely be happy if it also allows her to spend more time with her sister.
Weiss Schnee was wrong.
It was something she did not want to admit but cannot deny.
It was no secret that she did not like Jaune Arc and was wary of him earlier in their school year. She even thought of him as a danger but she was wrong.
Now she sees.
Jaune Arc was not the danger.
Pyrrha was the danger.
"This is hardly necessary, isn't it? We are just going to Vale, surely this type of measure is not needed considering we have been there before." Weiss remarks nervously as she is seated on a chair right in front of Pyrrha's vanity mirror.
"That was before the rest of Remnant came to Vale, Weiss. Back then, you could walk the streets without being accosted but with Atleasians, Mistralians, and even Vacuoans, starting to arrive, it would be best if you have a disguise of your own."
"Yes, I understand that but does he have to be here?"
Looking through the mirror's reflection Weiss could see Jaune Arc fidgeting seated on top of his bed.
"Of course, silly. We need his opinion."
"A second opinion, I understand. But him?" Weiss
"I'm with Weiss here, do I really need to be here?" Jaune raises his hand behind them and Weiss sees Pyrrha turn towards her boyfriend from the corner of her eyes.
"We need a boy's opinion."
"Do we really?" Weiss pipes up, in agreement with Arc for this matter at least.
"Hush, you. Wouldn't you like to be pretty for a boy?" Pyrrha reprimands before smiling down at her.
"Yes but not for him." Weiss blushes as she sees Jaune does the same.
"Please, Jaune knows what pretty is. Don't you, Jaune?"
"I mean…Weiss is always pretty." Jaune flushes red even as Weiss could feel the heat rushing to her face.
"Really, Jaune? Flirting with Weiss right in front of me?" Pyrrha raises an eyebrow and Weiss could already see Jaune paling at that before rushing to explain.
"No! I just meant, do you really need my opinion if she's already so pretty?!"
Not getting any better, Arc! Weiss blushes to herself as Pyrrha only stares at her boyfriend.
"Uh-huh."
"I promise! Arc's word!"
"Fineee. You can go. Tell the others we'll be there in a few minutes."
"Before that, can either of you tell me why Ruby is avoiding me?"
Pyrrha and Weiss stiffen at that.
"She is?" Weiss wasn't particularly aware if Ruby was but if she were then it could only be because of one reason. Pyrrha.
"Yeah, I noticed yesterday she kept glancing at me then looking away whenever I tried to look back." Jaune adds thoughtfully.
"I'm not sure, Jaune, but maybe this is something you two need to talk about? Maybe after we go shopping?" Pyrrha answers woodenly and Weiss' eyes widen at that in realization.
Jaune doesn't know. He doesn't know what Pyrrha is trying to do.
Weiss could have exposed her of course but she has no intentions of doing so when it is only the three of them remaining inside the room. The embarrassment and mortification is not just worth it. Better to let someone else do it as she watches from the sideline herself.
"Thanks, Pyrrha! I'll do just that. I'll hang out with Ren in the meantime." Jaune responds, unaware of his girlfriend's ulterior motives.
"Don't tire yourself out! I want you fresh by tonight!"
Weiss gasps scandalously as Jaune squeaks away.
"For training of course." Pyrrha winks at her conspiratorially however.
"...Pervert."
"I promise! It's just for training. I felt like it has been ages since I last trained with him. I'm excited to see how much he has improved."
"...I suppose your diligence is commendable when you two aren't indulging in debauchery."
Weiss cringes even as the words leave her mouth. Even when she's trying to give a compliment she can't help but add a scathing remark.
Why can't she stop being mean?! She's done it with Ruby so why can't she do it with Pyrrha?!
"Look, do you want your hair done or do you want to be mobbed by adoring fans while shopping?"
"I want my hair done." She shuts up with a blush as Pyrrha unravels Weiss' beautiful white hair.
"Good choice. Are you ready?" Pyrrha asks as she shows the black hair dye she has been using for her disguises to Weiss.
"Yes." Weiss gulps nervously.
Pyrrha's words however calm her down.
"You have beautiful hair, you know?"
"Thank you." She squirms in embarrassment as Pyrrha starts to gently comb her hair.
She…has never had a friend handle her hair like this before. Now that she's in the middle of it however…she can't help but find the experience relaxing.
A smile tugs on her lips as she hears Pyrrha coo and smile at her hair.
To her shame, she has never had a warm friendship with the spartan. Partly due to her own biased opinion of Pyrrha's leader, but also partly to Pyrrha's coldness at her.
It gladdens her heart however that Pyrrha seems to be warming up to a friendship between them.
She just wishes her new friend wasn't such a deviant.
It takes a few minutes for Weiss to gather her courage to speak what is on her mind now that they are alone. As much as she would love nothing more than to fall asleep to Pyrrha's tender care, Weiss needed to bring this up.
"I know what you are doing." Weiss speaks before she could completely relax.
"Oh? Dyeing your hair?" Pyrrha replies playfully causing Weiss to roll her eyes at her.
"No, about Jaune. I don't know why but you are trying to get me to like him."
"Am I now?" Pyrrha says coyly to Weiss' growing irritation.
"Yes, you couldn't convince Ruby so you are now targeting me." She utters as her hands clench her skirt on her lap.
"Is that so?"
"It won't work you know?"
"Is he really that unlikeable to you, Weiss?"
To her own growing internal horror, she finds the answer to be no. No, Jaune Arc is not unlikeable as he was during the early start of their year.
"...I have Neptune." She responds slowly after a pause.
"That wasn't my question." Pyrrha points out.
"It isn't." She admits with a nod, her thoughts hidden behind her neutral face.
Jaune Arc still isn't that attractive to her but even Weiss has to admit to herself that the boy is now a far cry from the one she used to dislike. One could almost say that Weiss wouldn't mind befriending the dork, not that she would admit that out loud to Pyrrha while they are alone. Who knows what the redhead will tease her with if she knows?
They stay silent for a while until Pyrrha finishes lathering Weiss' hair with her remaining dye.
"There, you're done. What do you think?"
Complicated feelings rise from within her as Weiss looks at her freshly dyed-hair. It's black but other than that, Weiss can't really identify any other changes. It feels strange. For the longest time she has been proud of her hair. It was part of her family but now that it's black instead of snow white it feels….liberating in a way. Liberating but strange. Awkward.
"I don't know….It feels strange."
"Don't worry. You'll get used to it. I did too the first time I went out."
"Is it supposed to feel…awkward? Like it feels like you but not you?"
"Yes, do you wanna know what I did?"
"What?"
"I used a persona."
"Like acting? Playing a character?"
"You could say that but it still felt like me, you know? Like playing a character who was exactly like me trying to shed all my restraints and inhibitions as a public figure."
Now that resonates with Weiss. As the Heiress of the SDC, there have naturally been things she was not allowed to do. Experiences that were barred to her. Experiences a normal person could do.
To have an opportunity to do those experiences land right on her lap feels like a dream come true. Still, doubt creeps into Weiss' mind. That sounded like a dangerous thing to do for people of their stature and she says as much to Pyrrha.
"Don't worry, we aren't going overboard. We are just going to do what normal girls do." Pyrrha responds calmly, taking Weiss in with a gentle smile.
"What normal girls do…" Weiss repeats quietly, eyes growing wide at the realization.
She could be a normal girl. Free from the burdens of being the SDC Heiress. No wonder Pyrrha grew attached to going out in disguise. If this is how she felt then Weiss wouldn't mind approaching Coco Adel to buy her supplies of hair dye.
"What do you think?" Pyrrha asks, snapping Weiss out of her reverie.
"...I like it." She answers with a small voice, an honest smile finding its way on her face.
"Good, what do you say we work on your persona?" Pyrrha nods with her own smile before asking, causing Weiss to tilt her head in confusion.
"Right now? Don't we have to go with the others?"
Pyrrha nods calmly at that before gently putting her hands on Weiss' shoulders.
"It will be quick, this will also help you disguise your habits as Weiss Schnee. It wouldn't do us any good if an avid fan recognizes you because of how you act after all."
"R-right. What should I do?" Weiss nods in agreement as she stares at Pyrrha's emerald eyes through the mirror.
"Easy, do something Weiss Schnee would never be caught doing in public-"
"Fuck."
The word flies out of her mouth so fast that she gasps right after her mind processes it. She blushes as she sees Pyrrha's eyebrow rise and a smile appear on her face.
"..Oh my, so bold." Pyrrha teases, covering her mouth in a mockery of a scandalized expression.
"N-Not like that! I meant the curse! The swear! I would never be caught swearing in public from out of nowhere after all! Not that I would also be caught f-fucking, but I really meant the swear!" Weiss denies panickedly, shaking her hand fervently to clear up the misunderstanding.
"If you say so." Pyrrha smiles indulgently to Weiss' growing embarrassment.
"I do! Please believe me, Pyrrha!" Weiss pleads with tears in her eyes.
"Don't worry, I do. Now tell me, if Weiss can't be caught swearing in public from out of nowhere, who would be?"
"Yang." She answers absently, her mouth providing the answer even before her brain could.
"No, I meant your new name, your disguise." Pyrrha rolls her eyes to Weiss' glowing blush.
"R-right, Sorry, it's…it's…"
Pyrrha must have seen how hard it is for Weiss to answer so she holds her hand in support before smiling encouragingly at her. Is this what Jaune is subjected to everyday when they are training? No wonder he is improving so much. Weiss would train harder everyday too if Pyrrha could smile at her like that.
"Let's make it easier. I'll introduce myself then you introduce yourself. Don't think. Just say the first thing that comes to mind. Don't forget though, you are in disguise. Think of someone who would swear in public and how different that person is from you."
"R-right. Let's do it."
Don't think. Just say the first thing that comes to mind. Swearing in public? That's something Weiss Schnee can't do. So who can? Someone opposite W-
"Hi, I'm Pyrene. What's your name?"
"Bleiss."
Ruby squeaked when Jaune knocked on their door and poked his head in their room.
"Hey, Pyrrha said they'll be ready in a few minutes."
Ruby has managed to avoid making eye contact with him for the most part by pretending to focus on something else. This time though, their eyes met with each other and she was forced to keep her gaze on him lest she arouses suspicion.
"S-sure thing, Jaune. Thanks." She says as she stays seated on Weiss' bed.
"Thanks, VB." Yang speaks from her seat on her chair while brushing her hair.
"Have a great day, Jaune." Blake looks away from her book to smile at Jaune adoringly from her bed.
"You too. All of you." Jaune says to all of them, catching Ruby's eyes one more time.
"Y-yup! See you later!"
"Wait, where's Nora? I thought she was waiting with you guys?" Jaune asks before he leaves, looking around their room for his teammate.
"S-she went with Ren, she told us she'll wait by the docks." Ruby squeaks out, eyes starting to flick all over the place.
"Alright, Thanks Ruby! Enjoy your day!"
Jaune nods before leaving and closing the door. Ruby hasn't even finished breathing a sigh of relief when Blake pipes up.
"So, what's up with you and Jaune?"
"W-what?! There's nothing between me and Jaune! Nothing at all! Haha."
"Ruby, I didn't notice it at first but you've been weird around him since we got back from the infirmary yesterday."
"R-really? I think we've been pretty normal actually. J-just two dorky best friends hanging out in the middle of our friend group. Yup! Totally normal!"
"It's Pyrrha, isn't it?" Yang cuts in.
Ruby squeaks as Blake turns to look curiously at her.
"What about Pyrrha?"
"Uhm, nothing?" Ruby denies nervously.
"Is that a question or an answer?" Blake raises an eyebrow but Yang cuts in again before Ruby could even say anything.
"Pyrrha's building a harem for Jaune."
"What?!" Blake's eyes blow wide open, her body freezing up as she looks at Yang incredulously.
"Yang!" Ruby whines but her sister only shrugs at her casually.
"What? It's true. She was trying to corrupt you last night and you won't even tell us what she told you."
"I-it's private!"
"Whatever it is, it has something to do with Jaune. Know anything about it, Blake?" Yang continues dismissively to Ruby's annoyance before looking at Blake.
Blake however only gazes thoughtfully, putting a hand under her chin as she takes in this information.
"Why would Pyrrha do that?"
Yang only shakes her at that.
"You don't know either, huh?"
"No and I doubt Jaune knows or else he would have already sat us down." Blake answers seriously.
"You really think he would?" Yang raises an eyebrow at her to which Blake only scoffs at.
"Of course, he's Jaune. He wouldn't do anything any of us would be uncomfortable with."
"You sure? Cause this sounds like a man's wet dream. I'm not sure Jaune could resist his hot girlfriend building a harem for him." Yang replies skeptically.
Ruby shakes her head at that before speaking to her sister.
"No, Blake is right. Jaune isn't the type of person to do something we wouldn't be comfortable with. He's my bestie after all. Thanks for reminding me, Blake."
"No problem. I don't know what Pyrrha is up to but I think you should speak to Jaune about this to clear things up. If we can notice you being weird around him then he probably could too."
"Nah, I don't think he's that perceptive. This is the guy who didn't notice Pyrrha had a crush on him until recently, remember?" Yang points up to which Blake and Ruby nod at the same time.
"Alright, fair. I'll give you that one." Blake says before turning back to Ruby. "You still need to talk to him however, just to give him a heads up."
"I mean…do I really have to?" Ruby whines nervously, avoiding Blake's gaze with her eyes.
"Didn't you just say he's your bestie?" Yang points out.
"Yeah, but it's embarrassing." Ruby squirms in embarrassment, thinking of saying 'that' to Jaune.
"How embarrassing could it be?"
Her mind can't help but imagine the scene of her telling Jaune what exactly Pyrrha told her.
Hey, Jaune! Pyrrha told me Neo pleasured you with her mouth while wearing my face! Did you enjoy it?
Just the thought of her asking that sends heat all over her body. What more if Jaune answered: "Yes, I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for asking, Ruby. Want to try it for yourself?"
She blushes immediately and Ruby could already see Blake's and Yang's eyes widening at her reaction.
"Very." She answers with a red face.
SLAM!
Before anyone else could ask her however, the door slams open and in comes a black-haired beauty with the most confident steps Ruby has ever seen.
"Hello bitches."
Just like that, Ruby's blush is blown away as the new figure steals their attention.
All their jaws dropped as Weiss Schnee, now sporting black hair in a side ponytail, looked at them with sharp eyes.
"What?" Blake blurts even as Ruby remains silent with her mouth open in shock.
"HAHAHA!" Yang slaps her knees in mirth as she bends over in laughter.
"What are you laughing at, fuckface?" Weiss glares at Yang but that only makes Ruby's sister laugh harder.
"HAHAHAHA! I can't! Make it stop! Please make it stop!" Yang laughs even more heartily, clutching her belly in pain.
"...Weiss, no." Ruby whines with a pale face, looking horrified at her normally prim and proper partner.
"It's Bleiss now, you pedobait." Weiss speaks, punching an arrow straight into Ruby's heart with her words.
"Pyrrha…what did you do?" Ruby pleads desperately, looking at Pyrrha standing behind this mockery of Weiss.
Pyrrha shakes her head with a smile before slapping Weiss on the back of her head.
"Weiss, no."
"Ow! Did you really have to hit me?" Weiss complains, looking back at Pyrrha with a betrayed look.
Ruby breathes a sigh of relief. There's her beloved partner and female best friend.
"You were going too far." Pyrrha points out calmly, causing Weiss to blush.
"You're the one who told me to act like that so people won't notice I'm Weiss Schnee!" Weiss yells indignantly with a blush on her face.
"No. I told you to act unrestrained like a normal girl, not be like that." Pyrrha denies and Ruby could see Weiss' eyes widen in realization.
"Well, you should have clarified that from the start." Weiss pouts at Pyrrha who only giggles back at her.
Ruby blinks at that. While there's nothing wrong with the two of them hanging out, it is certainly a surprise to see Pyrrha and Weiss interact like this. Still, it's good to see them able to play around with each other.
"Did you really have to call me pedobait?" Ruby joins in, teasing Weiss with a smile.
Weiss jolts in surprise before turning towards her with a blush.
"...Sorry. It was all just acting! I promise!" Weiss apologizes immediately, causing Ruby to giggle at her partner. It's good to know she didn't really mean it.
"I don't know what you're apologizing for, I loved it!" Yang speaks up with a laugh.
"While it was a bit too much, I will admit that no one will really suspect you for Weiss Schnee with that potty mouth of yours." Blake smiles teasingly to Weiss' growing embarrassment.
"I…I don't know what to say."
"Say thank you and let's get this show on the road! I'm dying to get a sexy dress for my date!" Yang yells excitedly.
Ruby immediately snaps to her sister at that.
"You have a date?!"
Yang only smiles at her before flicking her hair back.
"No, but there's nothing wrong with dressing up sexily, is there?"
"I agree, there's no reason not to dress our best for the dance." Pyrrha pipes in with a smile, causing Weiss to scoff at that.
"You just want to dress up for your man."
"Why wouldn't I? Besides, aren't you going to do the same with yours?" Pyrrha teases and Weiss' blush was already back.
"Please, I'm a Schnee. I always dress my best." Weiss tries to deflect but everyone could see the blush and shaky smile on her face
"Hmm, that may be so. The difference between us however is that my man will actually take off my dress." Pyrrha hums before teasing Weiss even more.
"Filth!" She immediately blurts and to her embarrassment, everyone turns toward her.
She cringes immediately when she sees Pyrrha smile wickedly at her.
"R-Ruby's right! T-that's inappropriate!" Weiss sputters indignantly with a blush.
Pyrrha only rolls her eyes at them before speaking.
"Please, it's a natural process. We're healthy young men and women pumped up with teenage hormones, it would be strange if nothing happens between us considering we also live together."
"E-even so, you can't just say things like that out of nowhere."
"Poor girl. So repressed." Pyrrha titters dramatically, getting a laugh from Yang and causing Weiss to blush indignantly.
"I am not!"
"Prove it."
Ruby could feel the air change with those two words as Pyrrha looked on firmly at Weiss.
"W-what?!" Weiss staggers back, surprised at Pyrrha's intensity.
"I said prove it. Don't be Weiss. Be Bleiss."
Weiss' eyes widen in some sort of realization and Ruby does not like the glint that appears on her partner's eyes.
Ruby gulps as Weiss straightens herself and steps up to Pyrrha's personal space. Let it not be said that Weiss Schnee will let herself be rolled over by a challenge. Ruby, Blake, and Yang, hold their breaths as the two women stare at each other.
"Fine! How do you want to settle this?" Weiss, or in this case, Bleiss? speaks fiercely while glaring at Pyrrha.
Pyrrha only smirks at that. Letting her blood heat up from the prospect of competition.
"Let's do it this way, we're already shopping, aren't we? The one who wears the better dress wins." Pyrrha offers confidently, using her height advantage to loom over her shorter foe with a determined glare of her own.
Ruby looks on worriedly but Yang pipes in before anyone can say anything else.
"Ooohhh, mama likes this already."
"Yang, don't be a perv." Blake interjects calmly, looking intensely at the staredown still currently happening in their room.
"I accept, on one condition." Weiss utters firmly, getting a raised eyebrow from Pyrrha.
"What is it?"
"We choose champions, or better yet, models of our own."
What? Everyone tilts their head at that. Who would be their models?
"What? Afraid that your assets won't let you win?" Pyrrha taunts, looking at Weiss from head to toe.
Ruby and Blake gasp but Yang goes even further than them because Ruby could promise she heard her sister say: "Oh, snap!"
They all knew what assets Pyrrha was poking fun at but Weiss only rolls her eyes exasperatedly at that.
"Hardly, I just don't want you to claim you lost because of bias."
"What do you mean?" Pyrrha tilts her head in confusion with a frown on her face.
"Yang will be the judge. Pick a model between her sister or her partner." Weiss answers with a smirk, glancing at her teammates who were all shocked at her pronouncement.
Ruby squeaks as she suddenly locks eyes with Blake who was just as surprised as she was. It never crossed her mind that she'd be a model for a contest between Weiss and Pyrrha.
Turning back towards the two, she could already see Pyrrha eyeing her with a glint on her eyes. She gulps as Pyrrha says the word that seals her fate.
"I choose Ruby."
"I'll have Blake, then." Weiss nods.
"Do we have a choice?" Ruby sighs resignedly.
""NOPE.""
As expected, both women answer in sync. She could see Blake doesn't actually have much complaints about this arrangement as she mulls over her thoughts.
Yang on the other hand….
Yang only rubs her hands excitedly before standing up from her position to drag them all out.
"OH YEAH! This is great! I can't wait to see what kind of dresses you'll pick!"
Ruby freezes however when she sees Pyrrha licking her lips while staring at her.
"Oh, don't worry, Yang. Your sister is in good hands. Very good hands." Pyrrha purrs and Ruby…
Ruby squeaks as she feels her heart skip a beat.
Taiyang Xiao Long felt a shiver shoot down his spine as he was busy tending to his garden. His senses don't tingle frequently but when they do, Tai always feels uneasy.
He pauses on his work and stands up instantly to stare into the distance right in the direction of Vale. Where his babies were currently at.
Bark! Bark! Bark!"
He looks down on his feet to see Zwei looking up at him with a tilt to his head.
"Zwei, you feel it too?"
Zwei only wags his tail before panting at him. He takes a deep breath before he hears the flapping of wings. Turning around, he sees red eyes staring at him as their owner plucks out feathers from their hair.
"Up for a drink?" Qrow Branwen asks with a smirk and a smile grows on Tai's face.
"Isn't it a little bit too early?" He replies.
"Got no choice, I'm off to Beacon after this. I just passed by since I was in the area."
Tai perks up at that. Beacon, huh?
Bark! Bark!
Looking down at Zwei, a plan forms in his mind that blows the uneasiness he was starting to feel earlier.
"Hey, Qrow. When you're on your way to Beacon, can you bring Zwei with you?"
"Ahh, reinforcements for the ladies. Got it. Now come on, those drinks aren't going to drink themselves." Qrow shoots him finger guns before turning to walk to Tai's house. His target? The beers on his fridge.
Tai only rolls his eyes before following his best friend.

I once read a fic with Bleiss in it and I immediately thought: Huh? Why not? It's pretty believable that someone as repressed as Weiss could have an alternate personality like that. I wonder what Winter's alternate personality would be like?
Let me know what you think!
