(Ayla's POV)

*It's been a few months since the Royal Banquet. Today, me & Sonic were racing through a desert, just having fun*

Ayla: Today's gonna be the day I finally beat you, big bro!

Sonic: In your dreams, baby sis! *Just the X Tornado appeared next to us with Tails & Knuckles in it* Hey, Tails! Long time no see!

Tails: Guys! Check this out!

*He held up a piece of paper*

*I took the paper from him & read*

Dr. Eggman:*laugh* Guess what, Sonic Heroes . . . I've finally developed the ultimate weapon! In 3 days, I will conquer the world. Think you can stop me?

Sonic: Hmm . . . Sounds like an invitation to party!

Ayla: Yeah, a "Who can punch Eggman the Most" Party.

Tails: What are we gonna do, Sonic . . .

Knuckles: No worries, we've got this one!

Sonic: Hah, think we'd miss this!?

Ayla: Not a chance!

Sonic: Time to crack that Eggman wide open . . . Yeah, let's party!

*Tails put the X Tornado on auto pilot before he jumped out of the plane with Knuckles & came after us as we zoomed across the desert. We made our way to Seaside Hill where we battled any robots we across & worked as a team to get through obstacles. We passed by killer whales as they jumped out of the water. I managed to get some pictures of them as we passed. Tails carried Sonic & Knuckles over high cliffs & long drops into water below, since my brother "still" doesn't know how to swim, which is getting really annoying. Knuckles punched through walls & rocks in our way. I sliced through robots with my Ring Blades. And Sonic did his spin dash on robots. At the end of the course, we did a quadruple attack on the robot, finishing them off. Then we found the green Chaos Emerald in one of the robots. Suddenly, Eggman appeared in front of us in the Egg Hawk*

Dr. Eggman:*laugh* Stop your futile efforts! You'll just make fools of yourselves.

Sonic: Hmph. I think you've got that backwards, Doc!

Ayla: You're the one who's going to made a fool of!

*He started attacking us with the Egg Hawk & we dodged the attacks*

Sonic: Man, he's sure one stubborn scientist!

Ayla: We've known that for years!

*We worked together to defeat the robot, causing it to crash into a nearby beach*

Tails: He's crashed!

Knuckles: Come on! Let's get down there!

*Sonic & I nodded as we zoomed down to the beach. We opened the hatch of the Egg Hawk & found Eggman collapsed on the floor. I was about to go check on him, when suddenly he got up & started laughing*

Dr. Eggman:*laugh* You fools have been tricked!

*Just his head popped off with a spring attached to it*

Ayla: It's a fake!?

Fake Dr. Eggman: While you fools were chasing my body double, I was preparing for my world domination plan! See you in three days! Also, there's a little surprise for you all in the cargo capsule.

*He laughed again as his robot body completely shut down. Just then, the capsule behind him opened*

Sonic: Stay here, guys. I'll check it out. *he peaked inside & what he saw completely shocked him* Sally! Cosmo!

Ayla, Knuckles, & Tails: What!?

*We followed after him as he went inside & there, laying on the floor, was Sally & Cosmo, unconscious. Sonic picked up Sally & Tails went to Cosmo*

Sonic: Sal, are you alright!? *he lightly shook her* Speak to me!

Tails: Cosmo! *he shook her also* Cosmo, wake up! Cosmo!

*Both girls groaned as they opened their eyes*

Sally: S - Sonic . . . ?

Sonic: Yeah, Sal. It's me.

Cosmo: T - Tails . . .?

Tails: Are you alright, Cosmo?

Cosmo: I . . . Think so . . . Where are we?

Sally: The last thing I remember was being in my room at the castle. I was looking over some papers when suddenly green smoke started to fill the room. I started to feel dizzy so I grabbed Nicole & ran to the door. But I guess I never got there before I blacked out.

Cosmo: The same thing happened to me. I was in my house making tea when green smoke started to fill the room. I felt dizzy and ran towards the door. But I must've blacked out too because that's all I remember before waking up here.

Knuckles: Looks like Eggman knocked you guys out with sleeping gas.

Cosmo: Eggman?

Ayla: Yeah. You're inside one of his ships. But the Eggman driving was actually a robot.

Sally: Figures. Always been a coward. *Sonic & Tails help her & Cosmo stand up* I'd better call my Father and the others to tell them I'm okay. *she pulled out her mini handheld computer & typed in a number* Nicole, contact Castle Acorn.

Nicole: ON IT, SALLY.

*Then her Dad, King Acorn, appeared on the screen*

King Acorn: Hello? This is a private Royal Line. Whatever business you have will have to wait until . . . *he stopped when he saw who had called* Sally? Is that you, Bean?

Sally: Yes, Daddy. It's me.

King Acorn: Oh my goodness! Are you alright!? Where have you been!? You've been missing over over 12 hours! Bunnie and the others have searching for you everywhere!

Sally: Cosmo and I were captured by Eggman. But Sonic, Ayla, Tails, & Knuckles rescued us.

King Acorn: Well, Sonic and Ayla. It appears, once again, I am in your dept.

Sonic: Ah, it was nothing, Your Majesty.

Ayla: Happy to be of service.

King Acorn: Cosmo, dear girl. Are you alright?

Cosmo: I'm fine, Sire. *she hugged Tails* Thanks to Tails and the others.

*Tails blushed*

Sally: Daddy, could you tell the other Freedom Fighters to meet me at Seaside Hill? Something tells Sonic, Ayla, and the others are going to need a lot of help for this one.

King Acorn: Of course, dear. I'll send word to them immediately. Oh, Sonic, Ayla, do be careful and look after my Sally when the time comes.

Sonic: Always, Your Majesty.

Ayla: Though, I think we all know that she can take care of herself.

King Acorn: So true. Nevertheless, please be careful, Bean.

Sally: Yes, Daddy. I'll see you soon. Love you.

King Acorn: Love you too, dear.

*He hung up*

Knuckles: Welp, we better get going. We've still got 2 and a half left until Eggman unleashes his latest weapon.

Tails: Which we'll smash into smithereens, like we always do.

Sonic: Got that right, little bro. *he turned to Sally & Cosmo* You two gonna be okay here, alone?

Sally: We'll be fine, Sonic. Like Ayla said, I can take care of myself.

Sonic: Yeah, yeah. I'll see you later, okay.

Sally: Okay.

*They kissed & Cosmo kissed Tails on the cheek*

Cosmo: Be careful, Tails.

Tails: Y - You too, Cosmo.

*Knuckles & I rolled out eyes at both couples before all 4 of us zoomed away*

(Third-Person POV)

*On a cliff, high above the wrecked robot, two figures in brown cloaks, one tall & one short, were watching everything*

?:*off-screen* LIFE FORM DATA . . . SUCCESSFULLY COPIED.

*The shorter figure just nodded & they left*

(Shadow's POV)

*Rouge & I fell from the ceiling inside an Eggman Base. Then put our backs against a vault door while Rouge typed into the keypad. The door opened*

Rouge: This must be it! We've found Eggman's secret treasure!

Shadow: Don't forget, we're on a mission for G.U.N. We're here get schematics for his latest weapon, not treasure.

Rouge: Yeah, yeah.

*The vault doors opened & two glowing red eyes appeared. A giant metal robot with a red & black body, a yellow head, yellow wrists, silver claw hands, & the omega symbol on his shoulders walked towards us. Rouge gasped & I got ready to fight. Just then, the robot fired at us. I jumped towards Rouge & got her out of the way*

Shadow: Stay here!

Rouge: Shadow!

*I jumped towards the robot, & jumped around the room, avoiding the bullets*

Omega: MUST ERADICATE ALL EGGMAN'S ROBOTS!

Rouge: Huh!? *I kept avoiding the bullets until I leaped towards the, who went for him. just then, Rouge got in between both of us* Hey, hold up! *all the technology in the room was completely wrecked* Now I get it . . . Now I know what this is all about. *she turned to Omega* You're mad at Eggman for sealing you in this room. *the robot nodded* Then it's settled. Now you two make up so we can start looking for Eggman, together! *she brought our hands together* Aw yeah, baby! This makes us a team!

*All three of us ran out of the base*

*We made our way to Grand Metropolis, where the city streets were crawling with Eggman's robots*

Knuckles: Looks like Eggman escaped into the city.

Tails: Eggman's robots are taking control of everything!

Sonic: Let's find Eggman and show him the real power of teamwork!

Ayla: And that nothing he sends our way can stop us!

*We all zoomed into the city*

Tails: This must be an automated Energy Plant.

Knuckles: Energy Plant?

Sonic: So that's energy going through those red pipes.

Ayla: Which we all know id coming from the HEXAeco Corporation

*The HEXAeco Corporation was a business partner of Chris's Dad that produces clean & eco-friendly power. We zoomed through the city, destroying any robot that got in our way. We traveled across roads flying in the air that seemed to be made of glass, but they were actually powered by the energy that was running through the pipes. Then we made our way into the HEXAeco Corporation's main building, which was crawling with Eggman's robots. Then we made our way to the Power Plant, which was also overrun with Eggman's robots. One of the robots we destroyed in the Power Plant was also holding on to the blue Chaos Emerald. As we left the Power Plant, we ran into Amy, Cream, Cheese, & Big*

Amy: Gotcha! My darling Sonic!

Sonic: Amy what are you doing here!?

Amy: Sonic! This time there's no way outta marrying me!

*I face-plamed. She still hasn't accepted the fact that my brother has a girlfriend*

Ayla: Ok, okay, timeout! *I made the timeout sign with my hands & everyone looked at me* Before we all start fighting, let's get one thing sorted out. Cream, Big, what are you guys doing here?

Cream: We're looking for Chocola.

Big: And Froggy. Both have gone missing.

Ayla: I see. Well, I'm glad that's cleared up.

*With that said, Any got out her hammer & charged at Sonic. I decided to sit this fight out, because when Amy gets like this, she's my brother's problem. Tails, Knuckles, Cream, & Big joined the fight just to even things out. Soon, the fight was over & Sonic was winner, as if that was a surprise*

Sonic: Marriage, no way!

Ayla:*in her mind* At least not yet.

*We left the city with Amy screaming "You will be mine, Sonic the Hedgehog!"*
