Are there any changes in chapters/episodes concerning Blood, Varian and Eira making their appearances earlier at some point than originally in the older adaptation?
Blood appears in exactly the same chapter as in the original story. Varian and Eira are more likely to appear, and Varian will live in the cottage for a while before moving in with Eira at Doctor Kahl's junkyard.
Of how the Devil aged to get a framed photo of Alicia is a total mystery. And not to mention pure creep factor. What's next? He would have a special shrine tribute to her in a closet?

What was supposed to be a quiet breakfast. Ended with a fight between Cuphead and Cuppy. Since Alicia got the scar around her waist because of the devil, not a day has passed when Cuphead and Cuppy fought. "Admit it, you ate my bacon when I went to the bathroom!". But Cuppy just shook his head "You ate your own bacon, not me!". Alicia, Elder Kettle and Mugman were visibly annoyed. The three of them tried not to interfere, but when Cuphead started pushing Cuppy, who almost fell off the chair, the barrel was overflowing. Cuppy jumped on top of him and the two jumped back and forth in the kitchen while fighting.
The two of them thundered against the walls and the furniture like a bouncy ball. The food table was fortunately not yet caught but that does not mean that he can pass. That's why Alicia stood up and grabbed the handles of the two cups, holding them apart. Both stopped hitting each other but still stared at each other grimly.
"Okay you two that's enough!" said Alicia as she held both of them and stares annoyed. Her yellow eyes were hard to miss, as was the fact that she was back in her demon form, making her look even more menacing. Both cups noticed this and immediately stopped staring at each other grimly. "You two need to get your act together and stop fighting all the time" the two of them knew what she meant. The current argument was unnecessary because there was still enough bacon in the pan. But Cuppy was still angry with Cuphead because of the Gaston thing.
Of course, the quarrels did not stop at breakfast. Be it in the garden, in the bedroom of the two brothers or even in the bathroom. The two could not stop arguing. Alicia and Mugman already suspected why. It was because of the scar Alicia had gotten from the devil when he wrapped his tail around her waist to tight. The scar was a constant reminder to Cuppy that Cuphead was a little coward and didn't think much of it. In addition, he felt bad that he could not protect her.
Or as Cuphead says "I ain't too worried about it" that's what he used to say when something bad happened or was going to happen. And exactly these character traits Cuppy could not stand. Cuphead was like him when he gambled away his and his brother's soul in the casino. Of course he is friends with the devil from his world thanks to Alicia. But that now the devil from this world also wants to have his soul did not please him. And that Cuphead did not care about it annoyed him even more.

But the quarrels should stop that was certain for Alicia, Mugman and Elder Kettle. Therefore, the three decided that they had to find a way that the two should somehow get along. "Cuphead probably won't just give in," said Mugman. He knew his brother more than enough and knew that he loved it when others agreed with him. "And Cuppy will certainly not give up so easily either" said Alicia.
It was difficult but Elder Kettle had an idea. "How about this?" he whispered his idea to the two. Both agreed and so the four went hiking the next day. Alicia carried a backpack and Cuppy a walking stick. She led the group Until Cuphead suddenly interrupted them "Why are we out here walking again?" Alicia stopped and looked at him while she and the others stopped. Cuppy wasn't too thrilled about being out here either, but he couldn't help it anyway because Elder Kettle wasn't home. Alicia and Mugsy knew why they were out here in the woods. "Well, because not only me but also Mugsy and Elder Kettle are of the opinion that a hike would do you two quarrelsome people good".
Cuppy and Cuphead looked from Alicia to each other and then back to her with a confused look on their faces. "What do you mean?" asked the former as he walked closer to Alicia while Cuphead grimaced and mocked him. "What she means is that we are fed up with your constant bickering" yes Mugman was visibly annoyed and his face turned slightly red with anger as the liquid in his head began to boil and steam appeared above his head. But he calmed down again and continued walking.
Both Cupheads noticed that the other two were very annoyed about it. But does Cuphead behave? No, of course not. He tried to make Cuppy angry with all means. But one thing none of the four knew. While they were walking in the forest hoping not to be disturbed, the devil watched them through his mirror and was head over heels in love with Alicia again.
"Oh her eyes are so special and beautiful" his tail end formed into a heart "Her black hair, her face oh just everything is so perfect" he literally melted on his throne until he was just a puddle of eyes, mouth and nose. Amnon and Henchman almost stepped in this one had they not heard his sigh. "Is the boss always like this?" asked Amnon curiously, who had never seen the boss like this before. "Actually, rather not. This is the first time I've seen him like this, and he turns into a puddle." They both bent over the devil puddle, who was still in love and didn't realize until too late that he was being stared at.
The hearts disappeared from his eyes and he was back to his old self. "Henchman, Amnon, what are you doing here?" he asked the two of them, annoyed. "Um boss we just wanted to bring you your food that's all" his eyes wandered from the two of them to the serving cart on which his food was sitting under a food cover. "I'd rather not eat" said the devil, which shocked them both a bit. You could see this from their pupils, which had shrunk. "But boss, you have to eat," said Henchman as the devil slowly turned back and was no longer a puddle. He ignored the two demons and grabbed his trident that was leaning against his throne. "Yes B-b-b-b-boss Henchman is r-r-r-r-right" the husky demon shook very badly as the devil looked at him with his menacing yellow eyes.
"I will not eat anything until I have my beloved Alicia with me and she sits next to me on the throne" with these words he disappeared and left both demons alone who looked at each other and did not know what to say to that.
Meanwhile, in the forest, the four went on, thinking nothing of the fact that the devil will soon pay them a visit. Well, for no one this was really no visit, because first of all all three cups were afraid of the devil and Alicia was more than annoyed by him. Once because she did not like him anyway because of his constant flirting and because she actually wants a day of peace from him. "Oh how much longer do we have to go?" Cuphead groaned with boredom and was very annoyed. Cuppy, meanwhile, was trying to pull himself together. The same was true for the other two. "Cuphead, how many times do I have to explain this?" asked Alicia, very annoyed.
Just as Cuphead was about to say something, the four of them noticed the more than familiar cloud of smoke that appeared before their eyes from which appeared none other than the devil. "Ahhhh the devil!" the three cups shouted while hugging each other. Alicia, however, just rolled her eyes in annoyance as she was not very pleased to see the devil again. "You again" "Yes It's me again my love" he approached her and his tail slowly wrapped around her waist. Oh great.
"Why so annoyed my love?" he asked her while the three cups were still trembling with fear. Alicia, however, was more annoyed than anything else "First of all, I'm not your love!" she removed his tail that was still wrapped around her waist "Secondly, I'm annoyed!" yes the devil saw it on her face "And last but not least, I'm not interested in you and I just want to have peace from you!" annoyed she continued walking while the devil looked after her questioningly and also shocked, ignoring the three cups that were still trembling and hugging each other and following Alicia.
But stubborn as the devil was, he did not give up so easily. No, he wanted to keep Alicia for himself, come what may. She should belong to him whether she wants that or not. "I'll crack your hard shell yet my love" and with his trident he disappeared again into a cloud of smoke to follow the four.
These arrived at a fork and yes both Cupheads were arguing again. "I say we go right!" said Cuphead, but Cuppy was against it. Once because the left path was not so overgrown and because the right path looked rather creepy. Or to describe it better, this part of the forest looked like the scene from Snow White when she ran into the forest after the hunter let her go. "No we go to the left and that-" but before he could finish his sentence the devil appeared in front of them yet again. Alicia was about to roll her eyes, but Mugman grabbed her hand and dragged her behind him in a panic while the devil was on their heels. "Come back here with my Love!" Seriously? the devil roared and floats after the two while Alicia tried to calm Mugman down. But unfortunately it was not that easy.
Only when Alicia slowed down did he stop. "Finally you listen to me" she said delightedly and stretched out her arms. "Sorry Alicia" she accepted his apology and looked around. She and Mugman went down the left path. You can tell because it looked like a normal forest path and not the path of a spooky forest. The trees looked normal and not mummified and rotten. No, it looked normal. Just like normal trees where apples grew from time to time.
But that was not the only thing the two noticed. When Alicia looked around, she noticed one more thing. She and Mugman were the only ones here. There was no trace of Cuphead and Cuppy. Both looked around but did not see the two cups anywhere. "Uh, where are they?" asked Alicia, who was now worried about them. Once because they left them alone and because the devil was out here in the woods and was after their souls.
"I think we lost sight of each other when the devil appeared and I grabbed your hand" the tears of sweat were hard to miss running slowly down his face while Alicia was rather worried. But the worry was abruptly ended when she and Mugman felt the devil approaching them. "We can discuss where the others are later, but for now we should run!" Mugman didn't say no to that and voluntarily jumped onto her wolf's back. Yes Alicia was a wolf again she was faster in this form on the ground than in her Wyvern and Phoenix form.
The devil saw them and turned into his dragon form to pursue them. His extra arms and legs allowed him to move quickly on the ground. But he was not fast enough to catch up with Alicia. She had almost disappeared from his sight. Or so it seemed. But in reality Alicia and Mugman had fallen down a small slope that leads them into a small basin from which they could escape only with difficulty.
Well Alicia saw no way out of the current situation. Her wyvern and phoenix form were much too big for the basin and with her wolf claws she couldn't hold on to the stony walls. "Damn!" she said in frustration as she paced back and forth while Mugman, still sitting on her back, pondered. "Tell me Alicia can you turn into something other than a wolf, wyvern and phoenix?" Alicia had never really thought about it. Lucifer could turn into a wolf just like she could. So she could turn into other animals, too. But the question was what kind?
While she was thinking about what kind of animal she could choose, she didn't notice that she was slowly changing. Her paws slowly became hooves that resembled a caribou while her fur grew thicker.
She became a female Caribou with black and gray fur that went from the chest to the tip of the tail, white antlers and white hooves. Her eyes were yellow, her inner ears grey and the muzzle was also gray. The size was enormous. But she was slightly larger than her wolf form. She looked at Mugman who was more than surprised by the transformation. "Wow, you look beautiful as a Caribou," he said. You could tell by the antlers. "Thanks Mugsy" she said. He got a little nervous when he heard that but calmed down again when he saw how Alicia jumped from one rock peeking out of the wall to another to escape from the valley basin. But before she could do that, Alicia was wrapped in a snake-like body that brought her and Mugman back into the basin.
"Where are you going my love?" Jesus Christ, are you kidding me?! The devil had wriggled around her again. "Stay here and let me seduce you" his body wriggled even more around her caribou body. It looked like he was about to devour her like a snake but that was not the case. No he merely gave her a kiss. Fortunately on the cheek and not on the mouth. It still annoys me! However, she was not pleased about it. Mugman wasn't really thrilled about it either. Not because he didn't like the way the devil treated Alicia, but because he was afraid. He was afraid of the devil, who tried several times to kiss Alicia on the mouth, but she always moved her head to the side or pushed her antlers into his face.
He noticed that something was wrong with her and let it be. But his curiosity was stronger. "Come on Alicia baby..." Is he seriously calling me baby now? Her yellow eyes slowly turned red with anger. "Don't call me baby!" she growled at him. She kept pushing her antlers into his face, which this time he pushed away with one of his hands.
"Understood dearest" but he couldn't resist a kiss which is why he quickly kissed her on the lips before she could say anything. However, she was not pleased about it. No, she was angry and annoyed at the same time that he had kissed her just like that. Even on the lip which was a no go for her. Only Lucifer was allowed to do that. No one else. "But I can't help but kiss you right here and now" his lips that became a kissing mouth slowly approached her.
Alicia did not like that at all. That's why she took the chance to get out of the current situation and jumped out of the clutches of the devil who accidentally kissed not Alicia but Mugman. Shocked, he opened his eyes and found that Alicia was no longer wrapped around him, but had disappeared. In addition, he felt that he had not kissed her but someone else.
Where exactly she was he did not know but he felt that she was not far away just like the two cups that still owe him their souls. Yes that pleased him very much that the two cups of Alicia and the other were separated. "That will be too easy" he chuckled diabolically "First I will capture the two and rip their souls out of their bodies" he joyfully took his trident and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
Cuphead and Cuppy were now in the spooky part of the forest, trying to find a way to be reunited with Alicia and Mugman. Well, at least one of them did. The other one was just whistling a tune and didn't seem too concerned about the situation. "Seriously now you're whistling?" asked Cuppy annoyed. Cuphead stopped whistling "Yes why do you ask?" and continued whistling. Cuppy gave himself a face palm. "Because we are separated from the others and the devil is after both of us!" He tried not to freak out but Cuphead brought up his catchphrase again "Eh, I ain't worried about it".
Annoyed, Cuppy rolled his eyes and was about to say something when suddenly a laugh was heard. A familiar laugh to be exact. They both looked ahead and he appeared out of the mist right in front of them. The devil. "AHHHH THE DEVIL!" screamed Cuphead while he ran away in fear. Cuppy shook like a leaf when he saw the devil and how he approached him. Fear rose up in him and he ran after Cuphead while the devil continued to laugh mischievously and gave chase. "Well, well, well, who would have thought that I would get my two missing souls so easily?" he said as he slowly approached the two cups.
His hand was about to reach for the cup but then a branch thundered into his face and he was knocked out for a moment. But he quickly regained consciousness and chased the two cups in his bull form while knocking the trees out of the way or trampling them like matchsticks. Both cups saw it and got only more scared and did not notice that they rolled straight down a slope after they slipped from a stone. The cups held on tightly and were slowly wrapped by roots and thundered at the end of the slope against an old rotten tree that was about to break. "Ow my head" "Everything is spinning" both had stars above their heads until they shook themselves and tried to remove the root.
Unfortunately, this was wrapped around the tree so that the two cups were now trapped and could not move no matter how hard they tried. But that was not the worst of it. Okay no one wants to be tied to an old, almost rotten tree. But that a huge black bull who is secretly the devil now really no one wants. Therefore, the two used the cracking to free themselves from the current situation in which they were now.
"Wait what are you doing?" the devil asked as the tree snapped and the two cups fell backwards down the slope. "Aaaahhhh!" the devil heard followed by a splashing sound. Confused, he went to the slope and looked down where there was a flowing river. However, he saw nothing of the cups until the tree trunk jumped out of the water and the two cups were visible. Both were relieved that they were rid of the devil for the time being. But unfortunately, the next problem approached them. This saw Cuppy who was now afraid. "Uh-oh.." he said nervously.
Cuphead, was confused and already suspected what they were swimming towards. "Don't tell me. We're about to go over a huge waterfall" Cuphead said with a deadpanned look on his Face. "Yep" answer Cuppy bluntly. "Sharp rocks at the bottom?", "Most likely". It was silent for a moment before Cuphead continued talking with an annoyed expression on his face. "Bring it on!".
Both prepared for the painful fall as the waterfall came closer and closer to them. Both closed their eyes and screamed as they fell. But suddenly they realized that something was wrong. They did not hit the ground and heard the sound of wings. Both opened their eyes and saw that they were in the air and that the tree was held by a claw. A familiar looking claw. It was Alicia who had saved them. Mugman looked down at the two and waved at them. "Hey, how's it going?" he asked while Cuphead just shrugged his shoulders. "Oh we're fine we're just tied to this tree here and almost fell down this waterfall" the sarcastic tone would be hard to miss.
"But we could use your help, because we don't want to be tied to the tree!" Alicia gladly fulfilled this wish when she landed with them next to the lake where the waterfall fell and tore off the root with her claws so that both cups were freed.
However, the day was not over yet, which is why Alicia and the three cups thought to stay right here and enjoy the day. After all, the devil was not after them. Or so they thought. But unfortunately, he was still obsessed with having the souls of the two cups and bringing Alicia into his kingdom so that she would take him as her husband and become his queen.
Yes he wanted Alicia for himself. So he decided to strike immediately and disappeared in a cloud of smoke only to appear in front of her and the three mugs who were more than startled by his unannounced visit. Alicia, however, just rolled her eyes in annoyance. Seriously? "My dearest Alicia please come with me-" as he grabbed her arm the devil received a strong electric shock.
Confused and slightly burned with clouds of smoke rising from his slightly burned fur, he only now noticed the Devil's Mark Alicia had on her upper arm that changed from red to orange. "What is that?" he asked as he shook his head and approached Alicia, who kept her distance from him. She already suspected that he would want to talk to her about it. But he would not get an answer from her that easily. "Like I'm going to tell you where I got this!" annoyed, she made her trident appear while the three cups were with her. Alicia didn't want to stay here any longer and decided to teleport away with the three cups.
The devil was confused and yet he was even more in love with her. He scratched his head and thought about where Alicia could have disappeared to. Inkwell Isle was a big place, but the devil knew every corner of the island inside out. So finding her would not be that difficult. That's why he laughed nastily, touched the ground with his trident and disappeared into a cloud of smoke, just like Alicia.
The four appeared on a forest path not far from the cottage. "Phew finally peace from the-" "DEVIL!" Alicia was confused when Cuphead interrupted her. But yes he was right. The devil was right behind her. Damn. Slowly she turned around and saw the devil's grinning face. "Do you always have to grin like that when you see me?" she asked him annoyed. "Well, with such a beautiful lady, I can't help but grin," And your heart is also pounding abnormally hard because of it, or what? She felt it when she was pressed against his chest with her back.
"Stay here my dearest and enjoy the time together with me" he said and ran his claws through her fur. She tried to free herself, but he held her too tightly for her to break free. Mugman saw it and slowly walked behind the devil. "Let me go!" she said annoyed but he just had to laugh. "Why my dearest don't you like my soft fur?" he asked her while pushing her closer to him so that her head was more in his fur. But it was not softer than Lucifer's. His fur was more soft and did not scratch as much as that of this devil here. She did not like that. Especially not the tickling from his nose. Why do you have to be so interested in me? she asked herself while trying to free herself. But he tickled behind her wolf ears again and she hated that. Not because she didn't like it but because then she was loose and he could do whatever he wanted with her.
And she knew what he was going to do with her. His trident almost touched the ground, but suddenly the devil cried out in pain and let her go. "YOOOOWWWW!" he shouted as Mugman stepped on his tail. Alicia took the chance to change into her Caribou form and flee from the devil together with Cups. The devil saw this and transforms into his bull form and ran after her. Alicia saw it and abruptly turned around and stretched her antlers towards the devil. His horns collided with hers and hacked into each other. He pushed her further back before he was overwhelmed by her strength and was suddenly in the air before she threw him down and ran away.
They were rid of the devil for the time being and could go back to the cottage without any problems. Of course the three cups stayed on her back before she turned back to her human form when they saw the cottage. Cuphead swent to the door first and held it open for the others. Also for Cuppy. This confused the others a bit but it looks like the day helped them after all. Both did not argue with each other anymore but were like changed. Hmm I wonder if they are both just pretending. Wouldn't be the first time that Cuphead is pretending.
All four of them sat on the sofa and relaxed. Alicia lay on the sofa with Cuppy on her belly while Cuphead and Mugman played with marbles and tried to enjoy the rest of the day. At least the devil was no longer after her and the two Cupheads. However, this does not apply to her dreams. Alicia had hardly closed her eyes when the next nightmare approached.
While she tried to fight her nightmare, she had no idea that an even bigger nightmare was approaching her. Yes, unfortunately, word spread quickly in the underworld that the devil has chosen a queen. Who was the lucky one did not know all but only a few chosen ones like Henchman and Amnon.
The latter was in a hurry and flew in with his wings in a tower that was open at the top. Four other figures were sitting there next to his master.
A humanoid wasp demon with the typical black and yellow colouring, gauzy wasp wings and the stripy abdomen. She has a slim build and four arms. She has long, curly black hair, her antennas are slightly curled at the tips and small horns that curled upwards at the tip on each side of her head. Her large, insect-like eyes are pitch black with red reflections and has a small black beauty mark under each her right eye. She wears a dark green strapless and backless dress with a high slit in the left side of the skirt, long dark green ball gown gloves and a black pearl necklace. She also wears dark green eye shadow, a black pearl bracelet on the left wrist of the top set of arms and a pale grey fur boa over her shoulders and around her top pair of arms.
An anthropomorphic cat demon with a slender yet athletically toned build, is covered in ash grey fur, has large ears and a bushy tail. She has short black hair, a small dark purple nose, amber yellow eyes and small curved horns. On her upper arm, she has a scar consisting of three slashes. She wears a black chest armour with a black trim. She also wears black armour on her shoulders and hips, with black-purple trousers held up by a large belt and shin guards that cover and protect her knees. She also bares dark brown spats-like coverings over her feet and ankles, exposing her toes and heels. On her right hand, she wears a brown leather shooting glove. On her left wrist, she wears a dark brown medieval style bracer with a specially built-in cross bow and a dark brown belt like armband with a miniature satchel that carries her arsenal of special pebbles she can turn into arrows she can shoot from her wrist bow.
A Anthropomorphic kitsune demon covered in dark purple fur with white running up her underbelly up to her muzzle and black tips on her ears. She has golden eyes with cat-like pupils and her arms and legs are black. She has mid-back length blue-black hair with the bottom end loosely tied with a red band along with the two strands over her shoulders and nine tails with white tips. She wears a sleeveless black cheongsam with a red obi (sash) around the waist and two slits on each each side of the skirt for extra mobility. Beneath the cheongsam are a pair of red leggings that goes past below her knees, leaving her pawed feet bared and a gold anklet on her right ankle. On both her arms are red handless gloves that covers her knuckles and leaves her palms exposed with gold linings and a black jade brooch in the shape of a fox clipped onto her obi. She occasionally carries around a pair of fans with a golden a fox embroidery as one her primary weapons should her illusions fail.
And a Scorpion demon with a rough and scary looking appearance. Like all scorpions, she has claws instead of hands. Small spines are on the sides of the claws that turn from black to red. She wore a black and blue Viking robe with silver decorations on the edge and around the waist. The rest was covered by her tail ending with a pointed spike.
Amnon saw the four and swallowed nervously as they stared at him with their yellow eyes. That they glowed in the dark like the other Demons and Imps made it even more frightening for the Husky Demon. He was shaking like a leaf and did not notice that Silk was talking to him.
Only when she grabbed him by his ring hanging from his harness did he realize it and sweat even more than before. For a good reason, Silk was not very enthusiastic about the fact that she had to ask the Husky Demon for the third time if there was any news and if he knew who the queen would be that the devil had chosen.
"Y-y-y-yes I know who the chosen one is who will be our new queen" "Then tell me who it is!" the Malamute Demon was more than impatient about that. The other four said nothing but shook their heads or rolled their eyes in annoyance as Amnon revealed who the new queen would be."It's a h-h-h-human by the name of Alicia Powell," Amnon said in a shaky voice as Silk stared at him menacingly and growled. "A human, then?" "Not quite, she's also a demon," the husky demon mentioned in passing, which surprised Silk and the other four. "A hybrid then" said the Wasp Demon with a menacing hum as her stinger peeked out slightly.
But this was not the only one pleased about it. The claws of the cat demon were visible as well as the flames at the tail end of the kitsune. "Vespae, Caterina and Daiyu calm down" said Scorpina who also calmed down when she heard the news and put both her arms over the cat demon and the kitsune demon. "Don't touch me!" growled Caterina as she pushed the claw away from Scorpina and stood up. "A hybrid. Why a hybrid of all things and not a full-blooded demon like us?" wondered Vespae as she paced back and forth in the room while Silk herself didn't know what to say.
"How should I know?" asked Daiyu who in anger fired a fireball at Amnon who cried out in pain and ran in circles in panic while holding his burning butt until Caterina lifted him and threw him into a barrel of water from which came a small cloud of smoke followed by a hiss and a relieved Amnon who was about to thank her until Caterina hit him on the head like Kaltag from Balto always did with Star when he said something stupid. Amnon felt the blow to his head and stars circled over his head before he fell to the ground and was knocked out. "Well, who do we have here?" said the devil as he knelt down and looked at Alicia more closely. Oh God this is so unpleasant. She hated being shrunk, but standing in front of a giant who was still grinning at her seductively like the devil was doing right now was something else.
