This is a rewrite of one of my fics because I forgot to account for certain things. For those that were here before the rewrite please do not spoil anything in the reviews.

(Night of Naruto's Birth – Somewhere outside Konoha with Kushina in the birthing chamber)
'Easy there, Kurama.' Kushina's thoughts echoed in her mind, her mental voice laced with determination and warmth. 'We're in this together, remember? We're almost finished.'
"This brat of yours better not be another nuisance like that Minato." Kurama's responded, his presence a comforting weight in the back of her mind. "Don't tell me to take it easy, woman. This brat of yours better by more like you than another nuisance like Minato."
Kushina's mental laughter rippled through her mindscape, her affection for her husband and the bijuu palpable. 'Oh, hush. You know you love him like a son. And you'll love this little one like a grandson.'
Kurama grumbled but agreed. Despite their prickly banter, their unspoken bond, a mutual symbiosis forged through years of coexistence and shared experiences.
Meanwhile, Takeshi Senju, the current fourth Hokage of Konohagakure, observed the scene with admiration and concern. He had heard the tale of Kushina's unique relationship with the Nine-Tails, but witnessing it firsthand was a revelation. It spoke volumes of her character strength and ability to find common ground even with the most formidable adversaries.
As the intensity of Kushina's labor peaked, Kurama's growls grew more frantic. "Hang in there, Kushina." He rumbled, his mental voice surprisingly gentle. "I may not like you humans much, but even I can see you're tougher than most. You are special."
Kushina smiled through the pain, her eyes shining with determination. 'Thanks, Kurama. We're almost there.'
And then, one final push later, the cries of a newborn baby filled the room, six whisker marks, three on each cheek. The medical ninja catches the baby with the midwife on standby with a towel to wrap it in. Takeshi's heart swelled with the pride of having more family, even if distant, and relief.
"It's a boy." The medical ninja announced, walking up to Kushina with a bundle in her arms, a smile breaking through Takeshi's stoic façade.
Kushina let out a shaky laugh, tears of joy streaming down her face. "Naruto." She whispered, her mental voice trembling with emotion. 'His name is Naruto Uzumaki.'
Kurama's rumbling laughter echoed through the chamber of Kushina's mindscape, his gruff mental voice filled with unexpected warmth, "Well, well. Welcome to the world, little Naruto. Let's hope you're worth all this fuss." before he noticed something about Naruto's chakra.
'His chakra is already so strong, intense, and yet eerie familiar.' Kurama thought 'I have a feeling your future will be one to remember.'
But amidst the joyous moment, a sudden disturbance shattered the peace. The air crackled with tension as a swirling vortex materialized in the shadowy corner of the room. Hidden within, a figure clad in a dark cloak observing silently, red eyes gleaming with anticipation.
Takeshi's senses tingled with unease as the medical ninja and midwife took Naruto. He then scanned the room, but he saw nothing amiss. Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.
'Kurama, keep watch.' Kushina thought, urgent, stead, and with fear. 'Something's not right.'
As the birthing chamber was cast in a fragile peace, the remnants of joyous celebration lingered in the air like echoes of a distant memory.
Takeshi stood vigilantly, monitoring the seal. He knew from Kushina that Kurama would not try to escape but needed to ensure that nothing caused the seal to deteriorate. Meanwhile, the figure, concealed in the shadows, observed the scene with predatory intent. His crimson eyes glinted with malic. He waited patiently, biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
"Kushina, someone's here! I'm sensing malic and killing intent." Kurama barked with an immediate surge of protective rage
With swift and silent precision, he closed in on the unsuspecting medical ninja and midwife holding Narutuo, his red Sharingan eyes gleaming with malice. He killed the midwife and medical ninja before taking Naruto into his arms as the bodies of the midwife and medical ninja collapsed silently to the floor.
"Someone's here." Kushina managed to get out, causing Takeshi to quickly scan the room only to see the adolescent figure holding Naruto in his arms with a kunai poised just so that if Takeshi made any sudden movements toward him, he would kill him.
"Kaito?" Takeshi asked, confused as he was supposed to be KIA, "I thought you were dead."
"Stay back, Hokage." The figure hissed in a whispering chill, "One move, and I kill the child. "
Takeshi froze, his heart pounding as he weighed his options. The safety of Konoha hung in the balance, but so did the life of a new family member.
"What do you want, Kaito?" He demanded, voice tense with restrained anger.
"I want the Jinchuriki." The figure answered, his red eyes burning with malice. "And I'll do whatever it takes to get her. Now, back away from the Jinchuriki."
Takeshi was initially reluctant, but the figure moved the kunai closer to Naruto, gritting his teeth. He saw no way out of this with Naruto alive other than to give in to Kaito's demands. He moves away from Kushina while Kaito moves closer to Kushina. Once the figure is a foot away from Kushina, she is enveloped by a swirling vortex.
"Minato, I'm being kidnapped. They have Naruto. They seem to have a Sharingan ability similar to Obito's, so I'll let you know when I return to the real world. If I don't pass out before then." Kushina mentally struggled to relayed before passing out and was sucked into the swirling vortex
"Konoha will burn for what they did to Madara." Kaito said, and with that, he and Naruto were sucked into a swirling vortex as Takeshi tried to stop him but was not fast enough.
(A minute later - Somewhere a good ways outside Konoha)
Kushina regains consciousness to find herself stretched eagle and bound by chains made of black chakra. She looked around to see Kurama behind her, outside the seal, with a Sharingan in both his eyes and Naruto on the ground a little ways away from where she was bound.
"Oh, good, you're awake now, I'm going to have the Kyuubi kill you." Kaito informs
"Minato, now!" Kushina mentally broadcasted to Minato, and seconds later, He appeared next to Kushina just in time to grab Kushina and escape, shocking Kaito before he turned his attention back to Minato and Kushina. "Just in time, Honey." She said with a smile
"Honey, I have enough left to split Kurama with the Reaper Death Seal to reseal half into you so you survive and raise Naruto while sealing the other half into Naruto, as no one else could survive it. There are no other available options." Minato whispered
"I'm going to open a portal disguised as a Space-Time jutsu to bring backup to support you guys and hopefully make him retreat. I love you and Naruto." Minato added before he stabbed his Flying Raijin Kunai into the ground next to them, "Flying Raijin Bridge Jutsu." Before, a blue portal sprouted from it, getting Kaito's attention as Minato leaped toward Kurama's paw, which hadn't moved from where Kushina once was.
Minato slapped his palm onto Kurama's "Contract Seal" and by the time Kaito got over his shock and processed what Minato had done, he had already flown through the hand seals needed to summon the Reaper Death God "Sealing Jutsu: Reaper Death Seal." Kakashi, Obito, and Rin exited the portal as he finished that.
"Rin, help Kushina, Kakashi, and Obito cover me while I split Kurama and seal him." Minato ordered before the Reaper appeared before Minato as Kakashi and Obito lept into battle, with Kaito diverting his attention
"What have you summoned me for hu…" The Reaper "Wait a second, you aren't human. I can see your soul is made of 2 separate but similar ones. What are you? You aren't native to this universe, are you?"
"No, I am not. I'm from a planet called Krypton. My pod got knocked off course into a Space-Time anomaly that spat me out here." Minato answered before the Reaper took notice of Kurama behind him, Rin caring for Kushina and Naruto, and Obito and Kakashi fighting Kaito.
"That girl isn't supposed to be alive, and that boy isn't supposed to be on your side. What did you do, and what have you summoned me for?" The Reaper asked
"I need you to split Kurama in half and seal one half into my wife so that she can survive and raise our son while also sealing half into my son, Naruto, as my wife will not be able to survive a resealing of a complete Kurama." Minato explained before the Reaper looked toward Kushina and Naruto while Obito kept Kaito at bay
"Your boy has quite the future ahead of him. Seeing that you saved your student who was supposed to die will balance the scales, and I will count that as payment. Although I will still have to kill you and send the half of your soul that doesn't belong here back to where it belongs. If you have any last words to your wife, now is the time." The Reaper said before he took his knife and split Kurama's chakra in half
"Kushina put the eight sign seal on Naruto. I'll see you in the afterlife." Minato said, "The half of my soul that is not meant to be here will be returned. Hopefully, the other part of my soul that belongs here will share our memories."
"Obito, Rin, Kakashi, look after Kushina and Naruto for me." Minato said, "Do it." He said before the Reaper used its knife and severed the soul from Minato's body and cut it in half, causing Minato to go limp before sealing Kurama's Yin half into Kushina, repairing and revitalizing her life force, and sealing Kurama's Yang half into Naruto.
The Reaper then used its knife to cut a hole in Space-Time before tossing Minato's soul through and closing it, confusing Kaito. Seeing that his plan had been thwarted, Kaito took the loss and retreated, "You win this time. But this isn't the last you will see of me." Before a swirling vortex consumed him.
Kakashi and Obito went to Rin, who was still tending to Kushina and Naruto with medical ninjutsu to speed up her recovery.
"How's she holding up, Rinny?" Obito asked
"Her chakra pathways are severely strained from maintaining the seal during childbirth combined with the extraction and resealing of Kurama, Obi." Rin answered
"It's good to be back, I'll help you recover, Kushina." Kurama said as he began directing his chakra throughout her pathways to assist in healing
"Let's get them back to Konoha, preferably the hospital." Kakashi ordered
"Well, looks like I got another cousin." Obito commented before they helped Kushina, who was holding Naruto through the portal
As you guys have probably noticed, I have changed some things. I have changed Minato's origins, so he is not from the "Earth". I have also changed Kushina's ancestry and her relationship with Kurama. Naruto is no longer Ashura's reincarnation/transmigration. I'm going to try and average 2.5-5k words per chapter from here on out
