Melinoë the daughter of The Lord and Queen of the Dead, from an early age the young goddess had her family stolen away from her by The Titan of Time Chronos. The Titan attacked the House of Hades and took control of the realm of Hades leaving Melinoë's family to an unknown fate as the Titan of Time would commence a war on Olympus. But thankfully the little goddess was saved by the arrival of The Witch of the Crossroads Hecate and was raised by the Titan of Witchcraft to one day find Chronos and kill him by any means necessary. Melinoë faced lots of trials out on the road to Hades but she was always backed by her relatives on Olympus, those who reside in the Crossroads, and the Nocturnal Arms along with various other tools and allies to aid her on her quest to slay the titan.
The Silver Sister faced many challenges along the way and has met her end various times, but failure is the greatest teacher after all. She pressed forth with every night becoming stronger and stronger, through the woods of Erebus, the depths of Oceanus, the Fields of Mourning, and finally Hades. The goddess pressed through Tartarus and disposing of any shades that stood in her way, victory was near she could almost grasp it. After a bit of shopping with The Ferryman Charon and a swim through sand of all things, Melinoë was finally face to face with the one who took her family away Chronos.
The daughter of Hades and the Titan of Time exchanged words with each other to then quickly commence their battle, Lim and Oros in her hands Melinoe clashed with the titan of time as he did with his Scythe. Lots of blood both a mixture of red and gold, was spilled on the floor from the damage the fight had on them but neither were bothered by it for even a second despite how much those seconds may sometimes feel like minutes. But even with all of the boons provided by her family and the support from others, Melinoe just couldn't do it, she was close to death's door when she uttered the words "Return to Shadow." and returned home to rest her wounded body with Chronos taunting her in her nightmares.
Melinoe had victory in her grasp but it slipped away, but the last thing Melinoe would do is give up when she was this close to victory. So Melione kept going, she fought and failed more and more sometimes reaching the Titan, sometimes going down to the Infernal Cerberus or Scylla and her band or maybe something different. But the stars seemed to align perfectly this one night and Melinoe seemed to get everything right, her family on Olympus never spared any expense when it came to boons. It most likely wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the gods on Olympus lending her their blessings and today they sent her just the right ones. She came to the Titan of Time's house that was stolen from The God of The Dead, the Titan was starting to get annoyed of Melinoe. Not only has she pestered him in his own home but his forces were having more and more trouble fighting Olympus since she decided to poke her nose on the surface.
Melinoe and Chronos clashed once again but unlike many other times Melinoe was smarter, she knew his tricks by now and would avoid a majority of them while being able to pump out lots of damage to the Titan. The Titan began to struggle and before she could even use her death defiance, Melinoe had the Titan get serious, he sent both himself and Melinoe to a strange place where they stood on one big clock. The Titan brought Melinoe to a domain of his own and had recovered ready to fight once again with the goddess, Melinoe was ready for whatever tricks he could pull here and once again clashed with the titan.
But unfortunately once again Melinoe couldn't do it, the Titan was near death's door once more but Melinoe couldn't handle it anymore. Her bones felt like they were about to collapse and she was running on pure adrenaline at this point, but even with her great willpower she just couldn't go on anymore for this night. So once again she must say "Return to Shadow!" and leave back to the Crossroads once again, but at the last second everything around her froze. Her body couldn't move but her mind could still think, she was still conscious and could hear the Titan laugh "Not this time grand daughter, I should have done this from the start but I assumed you wouldn't have been this much of a problem child I'll give you that. You fought well child but TIME CANNOT BE STOPPED."
Melinoe wanted to curse out the titan but her body couldn't do anything, much less conjure a word. Melione had a dome of glowing sand surround her as she quickly faded away. Melinoe upon fading away was brought to a void, she could move her body again but she had no idea where she was, she attempted to return to the Crossroads but she couldn't conjure any magic at this moment. She heard a loud bang behind her and turned to see a giant explosion of light as it filled her eyes. There was a presence that felt familiar, it was Chaos but she couldn't see the creator of the universe, as the explosion fizzled away Melinoe saw a sea of stars. In any other circumstance this sight should have been breathtaking but her mind was clouded by her duties and wanting to know what was even going on, time seemed to speed up drastically and soon would form Gaia as Melinoe was brought to the planet. In very quick succession she saw the world turn around her as years would pass by in seconds and she couldn't muster a word as she saw the world happen around her.
For very brief moments she saw Greece and the buildings that would be built and crumble in mere seconds. She reached out for anything but her body moved through the world like it was a ghost, the world moved past her and she couldn't even notice that she had moved past her own point in her timeline. She saw civilizations crumble and rebuild in front of her very eyes, wars come and go, nights turn to days in mere instants, her head began to hurt as she clutched the sides of her head in pain and yelled "What trick is this Chronos?! Show yourself coward!"
But Melinoe heard nothing back as the world still sped up around her and she continued to clutch her head. But all of a sudden Melinoe felt her body hit the floor as she winced a little and opened her eyes to find herself in a foreign area unfamiliar to her, she felt light headed and her body leaked blood from her previous battle as her body was close to collapse. She looked around more, the floor she was on was unfamiliar, the houses around her were like nothing she has seen in the paintings she has seen of Greece, the air insulted her senses as thanks to an incantation she could breathe on the surface but it still didn't feel good to breathe in at all. She decided to walk forward but doing so she almost trips onto the floor so she's forced to limp slowly, she didn't know why but she had to find some sort of reference to where she was at this given time.
Her limping became slower and slower with time as she would shortly end up tripping onto the floor catching herself with her hands as she fell on her knees scraping them both. She would even cough up a little blood as it stained the floor along with the blood she had already spilled prior, she could feel her body about to pass out as her arms began to give out. But all of a sudden she saw someone stand in front of her and speak to her "I knew that wasn't Cursed Energy, but if not then was exactly that feeling I'm getting around you?" Melinoe would look up but her vision blurred as she couldn't make out a thing as she then finally collapsed and passed out.
…
Melinoe began to awaken as her body now recovered after a nice rest and like every other night her power gained from her ventures through the underworld had vanished. But as she began to open her eyes she saw that she wasn't back home in the crossroads like she usually would be, she found herself in a room marked by various pieces of paper that had some sort of writing on them. Her hands were bound by a rope with those same pieces of paper attached to it as she tried to wiggle herself free but to no avail, in front of her then appeared a man with white hair wearing some sort of dark blue blindfold and an equally dark blue uniform.
"Hey you, you're finally awake" The man in white hair said snickering when he said that. His voice, she could tell he spoke a different language from her but with an incantation long ago she could perfectly understand any mortal human's language and how to speak it like it was second nature.
Melinoe asked the man "Who are you? Where am I? I know this isn't Erebus…"
"Relaaaaax, one question at a time. But before I answer anything, you mind telling me your name and what even are you?"
"My name… is Melinoe. I'm the daughter of Lord Hades and Queen Persephone. Now answer my questions." Melione said as she still tired to break free from her binds.
"Hades and Persephone? Like the Greek gods? Pfft whatever you say, can't say it's the craziest thing I've heard. Satoru Gojo but you can just use Gojo." The white hair man leaned in his chair at Melinoe, clearly interested in her.
"Well Gojo, does the Titan control you too? What trick is he playing on me now, I can assure you whatever it is? It won't work." Melinoe said as her face turned serious with Gojo smiling at her with a taunting grin that she just wanted to smack right off. "I dunno who this Titan is supposed to be but the only person who can control Satoru Gojo is Satoru Gojo. So what's your story Mel, by the way you dress, your eyes, that skeleton arm, and the energy you radiate, it certainly isn't cursed. So what's up with you Mel, because you certainly aren't human?"
"Well I'm not human, I'm a goddess." Melinoe said as it seemed to peak Gojo's interest.
"You aren't lying I can tell, either you really hit your head or I'm in the presence of an actual god, keep going."
"I've spent my entire life being raised to slay the Titan Chronos, he stole everything from me and has my family captured, it is my duty to have vengeance for them even if I never met them… I need you to release me Satoru Gojo. The Headmistress must be worried about me and I must return to my task, please Gojo." Melinoe asked with her face displaying worry and her voice sounding desperate.
"Killing a Titan? I'm no Greek mythology nerd but I'm pretty sure they can't be killed but what do I know, are you sure there's even a Headmistress to return to? It's been a couple millennia since Ancient Greece, think they still would be there waiting for you?" Gojo asked, having more and more questions as he seemed to have more and more with every response this supposed goddess says.
"A couple millennia?! No it doesn't matter, I know I can beat the Titan. I was so close last time, I must save my family please Gojo!" Melinoe shouted.
"Well, maybe the higher ups will just by the she just vanished excuse again." Just like that Melinoe was released from her bindings as she stood up from the chair she was sitting on "You have my utmost gratitude Gojo, thank you."
Both Melinoe and Gojo left the isolation room that Melinoe was being kept in as she came out to a wooden hallway with infrastructure she had never seen before but it was pretty obvious she wasn't in Greece anymore so she didn't mind it. "Thank you again for letting me off so easy Gojo, I really appreciate it. Hold on, I think I have something to repay your kindness." Melinoe looked in her sack she keeps somewhere and pulled out a bottle of nectar as she presented it towards Satoru Gojo. "This is nectar, it's a delicacy of the gods and is highly sought after where I come from. It might be a couple thousand years old but like wine it gets better with age."
"Aw for me? You shouldn't have, well goddess may a humble mortal such as I bid you farewell." Gojo said in a mockingly formal way as he took the bottle of nectar.
"Moonlight guide you Gojo." Melinoe said with a smile as she focused her magic and closed her eyes as a cast appeared under her feet ready to take her back to the Crossroads. "Return to shadow!"
There was silence for a bit until… "So are you gonna go now or what?" Gojo Satoru said asn Melinoe opened her eyes and had a look of confusion.
"What… Why am I still? Doesn't matter… return to shadow!" Melinoe said once again and still nothing. "No…no…no…return to shadow! Return to shadow! Return to Shadow!" Melinoe said over and over again but nothing, things were just not starting to set in for her.
"That blasted Titan…!" Melione said in frustration and punching the wall next to her out of rage.
The smug smile on Gojo was gone, he knew when to take things seriously and could tell that Melinoe was clearly distressed " Mel?"
"My connection to the Crossroads is gone! Something must have happened to the Headmistress and the others?! Did Chronos find them?!" Melione was starting to hyperventilate and beginning to panic as she put her spectral hand on her chest.
Gojo came to her aid and put both his hands on her shoulders "Mel, calm down."
Melinoe didn't respond as she was still panicking with her heart going at a million miles per minute, Gojo would have her sit on the floor as he gave her the bottle of nectar she gave him just a moment ago. "Here drink this, this stuff is good right. Just calm down panicking isn't gonna help anyone get anywhere."
Melinoe took hold of the nectar with shaky hands and opened it, taking a sip of the divine delicacy as the taste seemed to help calm her down as her breathing began to slow down as panic soon turned to tears. "Blast it all! The Titan better not have touched a hair on the Headmistress' head, even thousands of years later he continues to torment me!" Melinoe threw the bottle at the wall as while it didn't shatter, the little bit she didn't drink spilled onto the floor as Melinoe had a mixture of both rage and sadness.
"Satoru Gojo! Take me to Greece, I need to get to the underworld and find them! I need to make sure that everyone is alright!" Melinoe yelled at Gojo, she would never lash out at anyone but with a mixture of desperation and rage she's letting her emotions get to her.
"How do you even suppose you'll get home? It's not like there's an easy way to access the underworld." Gojo said.
"I'll find it by any means. I'm not asking Satoru Gojo, if you won't take me I'll find my own way." Melinoe stood up as Gojo did as well, Melinoe felt an overwhelming presence coming from the man. It felt as if he was harnessing pure negativity and she could tell he was dangerous but she's not gonna let herself be stopped by him.
"Mel you seem like a cool girl but if you can't teleport back home then I can't let you walk out of here, I was sent to execute you for trespassing as you are labeled a curse due to your appearance and energy radiating from you."
"If you won't move then you force my hand Gojo." Melinoe summoned to her hands Lim and Oros as she quickly dashed to attack Gojo. She thrusts the silver dagger to the blindfolded man as to her surprise her dagger stopped right in front of him no matter how hard she pushed "What…? What type of magick is this?" Melinoe kept attacking Gojo but to no avail as it felt like she was swinging at air.
Gojo pulled on his blindfold and Melinoe saw his beautiful blue eyes, and with one look Melinoe was blasted back by an invisible force that took the goddess by surprise. Melinoe was blasted back into a wall as the area around them was highly damaged and the witch was left in a crater in the wall. Melinoe was almost killed by that attack alone as she struggled to get out of the wall she was sent into only for Gojo to appear in front of her face as her body was now stuck between that invisible barrier and the wall she was sent into. "Gods…what power is this!?"
"Infinity, Mel stand down. I really don't want to have to exorcize you." This was serious, Melinoe couldn't dash out of this. She had to comply or otherwise she'd die and with no easy way back to the Crossroads… she had to concede "I…y-yield..!"
The barrier was turned off as Melinoe fell from the wall as Satoru catched her. "Gojo…I apologize, I didn't mean to harm you… please forgive me."
"It's alright, not like you would be able to hurt me anyway. My bad on hitting you that hard, thought a goddess ought to be able to take more of a hit." Gojo said with a smirk.
"I would have if I had a few centaur hearts and some blessings but I'll be fine, just a moment to recover is all I require. Just what is that magick? It felt like I was swinging at air but my arms just wouldn't move past whatever held them at bay? I've defeated tons of shades with Lim and Oros yet I couldn't even touch you?"
"While I'd love to explain how it all works there's some more important things I think we should discuss beforehand. We have lots to go over Mel but first let's get you somewhere to sit that's a little more comfortable than broken wood."
"I don't have much of a choice in the matter so let us go Gojo." Melinoe compiled as Gojo put his hand on Melinoe's shoulder and they disappeared to another area.

Authors Note
Hey, I'm a big fan of Hades and I've been in love with Hades 2. Melinoe is just such a good protagonist that I need to write something with her and I'm also pretty into JJK at the moment, I just finished culling games and I'm in love with this series.
Any questions I'll answer and I'll do my best to be faithful to Melinoe's character while writing this and try my best to scale her into the series where she's a heavy hitter but not a top tier like Gojo or any special grades, she will approximately be weaker than Itadori and stronger than Megumi
Really this idea started because I think it would be adorable if the JJk cast tried to teach Melinoe about the modern world as best as they could and either she completely understands and is fascinated by modern tech or doesn't understand certain things and gets super confused. Like Itadori introducing her to his favorite movies and tv shows, Nobara taking her out to go experience being a modern day girl, and Megumi… being Megumi.
I don't really know if I'll give her cursed energy, I just have her naturally be able to see and touch curses due to her fighting shades and other monsters in the underworld so it makes sense she can see, touch, and fight them.
That's enough of my yap sesh, bye bye.
