The black dragon circled them, flames leaking from its mouth in sparks. Its glowing red eyes stared them down, tail swishing.

Garmadon backed away, Lloyd beside him. They both held their katanas in front of them, pointed at the dragon. He wasn't sure where the others had gone—the ninja had been here a minute ago.

The beast must have killed them.

The thought should have alarmed him, he knew, but it didn't for some reason.

With a flap of its powerful wings, the dragon rose a few feet into the sky. Then it dove for them, jaws wide to devour them.

Garmadon shoved Lloyd aside, leaping out of the way himself. He stood in front of his son as the beast turned to face them, landing hard with its claws scraping at the ground.

The dragon roared.

"Lloyd, run—" He glanced behind him, starting when he realized his son had vanished. "Lloyd? Lloyd!"

The large dragon laughed. It…was almost familiar.

Garmadon looked back at the dragon, swallowing in dread. Where had Lloyd gone? Had he…had he been eaten?

The dragon stalked towards him, tail swinging back and forth powerfully. "You are MINE, Garmadon."

He frowned, eyes widening. That…he knew that voice.

Blood started leaking from the beast's jaws, replacing the flaming sparks. Its feet left behind bloody footprints, and the crimson liquid sprayed from its wings with every movement like droplets of water.

Garmadon gaped, dropping the katana. He stumbled back in sudden fear.

"Ever wondered how pirates feel?" The dragon grinned cruelly.

His right vision suddenly blinked out—he'd known it'd felt wrong that he'd had two eyes. One…one was missing. It'd been taken. Now he only had half-vision again. He turned slightly to the right, trying to compensate for the blackness so he could fully see the dragon.

"I will devour you whole. You are mine—your soul, your life, your mind—all of it is MINE." The great dragon flew at him, jaws wide.

A loud whir filled the room, like a saw blade.

Garmadon gasped, the chains of the table holding him down tightly. The white light above him shown brightly in his eyes. The dark room concealed the atrocities around them in blackness.

Ichor's face appeared above him. "You shouldn't have done that."

He struggled, seeing the saw blade approach his arm—

The whirring grew louder, a few blasts of gun fire sounding. Shouting and cheering muddled together—

Pain—

Fwip! Whiz! The whir suddenly escalated to a loud BAM!

Garmadon jerked, gasping, and blinked rapidly. He sat up rigidly on the couch, hands clenching the sofa edge.

"Da—Garmadon?"

He looked to his right, seeing Lloyd watching him concernedly. The other ninja were also watching him now.

There was another loud BAM! Then a whir, and gunfire.

Garmadon stiffened, looking at the TV—then tried to relax. It was only the Starfarer movie making the noise. Not Ichor.

Nya paused the movie. "Are you okay?"

Garmadon bit his lip, then sucked in a trembling breath. He felt wetness touch his hand. He looked down, seeing Ochre watching him worriedly, before licking him again. The dog wagged his tail, whining a little. Garmadon stroked his head, feeling himself relax a little at the soft, comforting fur.

It would be fine. He was fine. He was okay.

It was just a dream.

He felt the ninjas' stares still on him, and he leaned slowly back against the couch again, jaw clenched uncomfortably. He continued to pet Ochre, rubbing his snout now.

At his silence, the ninja exchanged glances. Lloyd kept his eyes on Garmadon, frowning.

Nya hesitantly started the movie again.

The loud gunfire and whirring started up again, and then another bam! Garmadon stiffened again, seeing that it was Fritz against a collection of green alien blobs. The aliens were throwing some sort of bombs and firing guns, and Fritz and his sidekick were firing back. The whirring was the aliens' ship.

Nya paused the movie again, yawning deliberately. "Well, we should probably go to bed, huh?"

Kai rolled his eyes. "We can at least finish the movie."

Jay slumped on the couch, pouting. "Yeah, we can finish it, right?"

"Guys, we should probably go to bed." Lloyd straightened.

Cole stood, stretching. Zane and P.I.X.A.L. also stood.

Garmadon blinked, confused.

"Why can't we finish it?" Jay looked at Nya.

Nya subtly nodded towards Garmadon.

Garmadon frowned. What? What did he have to do with it?

Jay glanced at Garmadon.

Nya pulled him up. "Let's clean up, then get some sleep."

Lloyd stood, picking up some garbage from the floor.

Garmadon stroked Ochre, watching everyone work. The ninja cleaned up quickly, in between tired yawns and petting his dog. He felt like he should help in some way, but Nya, Cole, Lloyd, and Zane all insisted he rest.

A little later, Nya glanced around at their work. "Everything cleaned up now?"

"Yup." Jay wiped his hands dramatically.

She nodded. "Good."

"Are you all done with your game night?"

They all looked at Misako, who had walked over without anyone noticing, apparently. She stood near the couch's back, a few feet away.

"Yeah. We just finished up," Cole said.

She nodded. "Are you all heading off to bed, then?"

"Yup." Nya smiled.

Garmadon wondered why Misako as still up at this hour. It was late, probably past ten—which was past her usual bedtime, he was pretty sure.

The ninja gathered up a couple bags of trash they'd brought in to help with the mess, and then left the room. Kai and Lloyd had paused, glancing at him—though both with very different expressions. Lloyd looked a little concerned, and hesitant to leave. Kai glared at him threateningly. They both followed the others out.

Misako looked at Garmadon when everyone was gone. "We…probably can't have our usual talk tonight, since it's so late."

Which still made him wonder why she was up at this hour. He nodded.

She watched him. "I heard about what happened earlier."

He cringed, fiddling with his hands nervously. "Oh."

"Why did you break the ice cream scoop…?"

He shrugged, keeping his gaze down.

"I heard you almost hit Lloyd?"

"Yes…" Garmadon bit his lip. "I didn't mean to."

"Hmm."

He stroked Ochre for a moment, then went back to picking at the hem of his glove.

"Well…it's the end of the week."

He nodded a little.

"You'll most likely be back on your feet tomorrow, if you've healed well."

"Yes…"

"Since you'll be able to get around again fine, I…suppose we don't need to have these talks anymore."

Garmadon nodded. Yes. The less they talked, the better. It was for their own good. He was glad the issue had resolved itself, like he'd hoped.

"Alright." She watched him for a moment, then turned, heading for the door. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight."
