"More Penny stuff," Slays announced.
"Let's go!" Ruby cheered.
"Hopin' this is less death-ey than the last fight Murder Robo Penny had," Yang choked.
"It will, the next layer I am going too is Greed!" Penny smiled.
Jacques and Roman sat up attentively, this is where they were going!
Penny was pressing buttons on the terminals interface as the elevator slowly descended, in a moment the arcade-like machine popped a new railcannon out of its hatch.
TIP OF THE DAY: TRY NOT TO BREAK IT AGAIN, DUMBASS
Penny puffed her cheeks and rolled her eyes as she shoved the gun into her wings and headed out to the next part of Hell.
"Yay, cool gun is back!" Ruby cheered.
Penny mumbled something about a "Clanker" again as the Terminal insulted this version of her.
GREED FIRST / SLAVES TO POWER
Penny walked onto a golden bridge with green accents, high up over a dry golden desert. She saw the silhouette of a pyramid in the distance with large, muscular figures with one arm dismembered and the other overly long dragging boulders up the pyramid, the yellow sky beaming down the hellish heat from the orange sun sat behind the pyramid.
"Those things are creepy," Jaune shivered.
"I can practically feel how hot it is from watching it, I didn't even think robots could sweat," Roman exasperated. "Is the punishment just it being hot all the time?"
"Not exactly, the Greedy are also forced to roll boulders up Humanity's great monuments for eternity," Penny explained.
"Dammit, looks like we have an eternity of manual labour to look forward to Neo," He looked at his partner in crime.
"I am 100% going to Violence,"
"Oh yeah right,"
A group of Filth alongside two Streetcleaners charged Penny on the bridge, Penny punched a shotgun blast that killed half of the Filth, and send one of the streetcleaners dodging off of the bridge and into the sand below; Penny jumped, dashed forward and threw a coin as the other half of the enemies approached her, shooting the coin launched it into the Streetcleaner's tank, killing every single enemy.
She walked forward to the second section of the bridge, this one was wider with a pool of green water making up most of it, it lead to a building who's door locked as she approached it.
Smaller group of Filth, charged Penny, with 2 Strays and 4 Soldiers spawning around the pool. Penny dashed towards a soldier, dodged his kick, punched the Soldier so hard his state of matter changed to a liquid, then let the knuckleblaster explode to kill the Filth; she instantly turned Around the parry a Stray's projectile into a Soldier who had Two Strays surrounding him that died in the explosion along with him. Penny shot two coins to finish off the Strays.
"Easy enemies so far, c'mon give ol PenPen a real challenge!" Yang demanded.
"The screen cannot hear you," Blake chided, chuckling.
"If I try hard enough, it will,"
The door led to an enclosed staircase lit up by four green torches, mysterious symbols lined the walls and ceiling. On the opposite side of the staircase was a small room with two separate flights of stairs leading to a platform with a door connected to it.
As Penny walked towards it, a Virtue appeared, A blue orb wrapped in gold chains with blue wings helping it float in the air.
"Wuzzat?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah, doesn't look like a Demon or a Husk,"
"That's because it's an Angel, the Virtue is an angel made from a human; often sent to do menial tasks like wardening Hell because greater angels deemed it beneath them," Penny explained. "Heaven is… rather segregated,"
"So no matter how you were the afterlife sucks?" Qrow drank in response.
"Why?" Blake asked, looking a tad upset.
"Well, the disappearance of God made the Heaven Made Angels want to disconnect themselves from Humanity,"
"So God just casually abandons everyone in this Universe?" Yang asked. "Asshole," She crossed her arms.
Glynda was having a silent existential crisis, Penny was silently praying to the machine Gods, none of the audience was particularly pleased about the 'God abandoning everyone' thing.
The Virtue flapped its wings and glowed a pretty pink, and also caused a sigil to form around Penny's feet, Penny moved out of the way and watched as a beam of holy light shot at the sigil.
Penny pumped up her shotgun twice and jumped up, the larger amount of heat bullets forming cracks on the Virtue's glassy form, Penny shot it as it flapped its wings again, killing it and sending the dead orb falling to the floor where it shattered and launched Penny towards the wall.
A group of Filth spawned around her, and 2 Virtures floated at the other end of the room.
Penny jumped in the air and punched a shotgun blast to kill the Filth as they crowded around below her, she then sped towards the Virtues, her constant movement rendering them unable to hit her for now.
She shot four coins at one, dodged another two beams of light, then shot it with a shotgun, dashing to avoid the Angel's breaking blowing her away.
The Second Virtue went enraged, not at the death of their comrade, but because Penny hadn't died in three beams.
Penny ran around and overpumped her shotgun, getting ready to-
BWAM
The Virtue had predicted where she was going to go, causing Penny to be hit by and launched into the air by the beam. Penny grumpily dashed towards the Angel, grabbed onto it's wings, and then dashed off of it as she shot out the overpumped shotgun's explosion which sent the Virtue crashing to the ground, dead.
"Three Angels in like twenty seconds, this Robot is one hell of a sinner!" Qrow chuckled/
"Technically four if you count Winter," Penny added, even as Winter whispered that it "Didn't count because she didn't die,"
Penny exited back into the outside of greed onto a staircase spiralling around a tower of three platforms.
A Schism and a Virtue spawned on the middle platform. Penny began to jump up the stairs. Two Soldiers spawned at the top of the tower and fired upon her, Penny dashed directly into a streetcleaner which burnt her. She jumped into the air and shot a coin into the gas tank, launching her up, the speed at which she was moving letting her avoid the Virtue's beam.
She punched a shotgun blast in the middle of the platform, launching the two Soldiers who blocked the explosion falling into the desert below. Penny then pulled out her nailgun and let herself fall. She dashed onto the second platform as she reached it, narrowly avoiding the Virtue's second beam. She shot silver nails into the Schism to kill it; then she shot a barrage of overheated nails into the Virtue, she used the Virtue's shattering to launch her upwards, then dashed onto the third platform which held a bridge leading to another enclosed arena.
The door led to a narrow golden corridors held up by pillars, two Virtues spawned on either side of the room.
She overpumped the shotgun, jump up to the virtue and dashed as she blew up the Virtue; she then slid towards the other Virtue, unleashing a burst of overheated nails to instantly kill the Virtue.
Next room was a longer corridor, with several stairs connecting to another three floors of platforms, lava flowed from streams on the sides of the arena.
Four Soldiers spawned on the middle platform as Penny approached the structure; three Schisms and Three Drones also spawned at the top.
Penny dodged the Soldier's shots as she jumped to the top platform, she punched a shotgun blast to kill one Drone and make another divebomb into her, she punched that drone into a group of two Schisms; one died and the other was blown off the platform into the lava. She dashed towards the last Schism and punched it with the knuckleblaster into the lava.
The soldiers ran up the stairs and fired upon Penny, she punched one hell orb back at one soldier, was hit by another hell orb and then dashed to avoid the others. She threw two coins and shot them one after the other; one hit a Soldier's cannon right as he was readying his next shot, sending the soldier next to him into the lava, the other finished off the last Soldier.
A group of Filth and Two Streetcleaners ran up from the lower floors, she jumped in the air and prepared to shoot a coin as-
BWAMMM
A beam of pure light hit Penny, there was also a Virtue somewhere; she punched several shotgun blasts into the horde following her, dashing as she defeated them to avoid the next beam.
She went all the way to the bottom platform and spotted a pale blue glow near the lava room's exit, she unloaded a quarter of the nailgun into the Virtue, punching the orb into the wall as it fell and died.
"That Angel really pissed her off," Qrow chuckled.
"Poor people, probably think this is just any other day wardening Hell," Glynda said "It's the more powerful Angels sending them to do this,"
"Heaven seems to have taken notice of our robotic friend," Ozpin mused. "She's already beaten one of the most powerful Angels in this world, after all,"
"They're shitting bricks up in the pearly gates," Yang simplified.
Ozpin chuckled. "I suppose you could put it that way,"
The door led back outside to a series of platforms, with a few being connected flights of stairs the platform at the end connected to a large temple, somehow more golden than the rest of Greed.
She jumped onto the first platform, two Strays appeared before her and a group of Filth barrelled towards her down the stairs from the second platform.
She parries a Hell Orb inbetween the Strays to knock both of them into the sand below, she then punches and lets the knuckleblaster explode as she runs through the Filth.
Four Soldiers spawned on the middle platform, not connected to any other platform as a Maurice spawned on the fourth, his first barrage accidentally killing one of the Husks.
Penny punched one of the bullets of Maurice's second barrage in between the Husks again, knocking two of the stage as she finished the final off with her revolver. Maurice charged up a beam of Hell Energy, Penny threw a coin just as it fired.
PLINK BOOM
The beam ricoshotted right back into Maurice, the stone head fell to the floor as Penny jumped to the final platform.
"That whole reflection thing implies that someone could probably shoot Penny's coins at her," Yang said.
"I fear the day," Penny hit the thousand yard stare.
Penny entered the temple, long platforms were on the left and right, connected to the floor by stairways, the temple also features arches that were separated enough to leave a long, thin space between them; there was a yellow orb in this space.
The yellow orb caused her to casually grow another blue arm, one that mimicked whatever weapon she was using.
"Holy shit that's awesome," Yang said.
Four Soldiers spawned on separate arches, while four groups of Filth approached her from each of the corners.
Penny threw two coins in the air, which double to four coins, shooting all of them killed every Soldier and caused two Virtues to spawn under two separate arches; 8 Strays spawned on the platforms and 3 Schisms spawned alongside a group of Filth.
Penny spun up her Revolvers and dashed towards the leftmost arch, the Filth chasing close behind; she shot it and the two ricochetting shots killed both the Virtue and every Filth as she dashed to avoid the second Virtue's beam. She shot two piercing shots at the bunched up Schisms to kill all of them as she slide jumped to avoid the barrage of Stray Orbs and-
BOOM
A nearby explosion from a Cerberus' Apple, Three Cerberi had spawned on the platforms.
Penny jumped utop the arches and threw eight coins in the air, some of them split into two which killed all the Strays and minorly damaged one of the Cerberi.
She double pumped two shotguns and jumped towards the first Cerberus, she then dashed to avoid both His stomp, and the apple of another Cerberus which damaged the First.
She shot both shotguns while punching the Statue which broke him to pieces. Both of the Cerberi became enraged and began to run towards Penny.
She jumped in the air to avoid their dash and ejected two cores downwards, which she shot with two red railcannon shots.
The double nuke annihilated the two Cerberi in an instant. Penny entered the door containing the exit elevator, happily panting as the third arm faded away into dust.
Ruby breathed in "Ohmygodthatwassofreakingcoolholyshitholyshit!" She heaved as she finished talking.
"Thank you, but do be careful Friend Ruby!" Penny warned.
"I know, but like that was literally the most cool thing I've ever seen!" Ruby beamed.
Yang looked at Ironwood and motioned to her own robotic arm, he shook is head and Yang silently, jokingly pouted.
GREED SECOND / GOD DAMN THE SUN
Penny exited the elevator onto the ground layer of Greed, scattered with golden platforms, pillars and other buildings half buried in the golden sand; the great monuments of Humanity towered in the distance, the most notable of which was a huge Pyramid.
"So is making like any kind of a name for yourself a sin in this world?" Yang asked, sounding just a tad irate.
"I uhh… can't say, sorry," Penny apologetically smiled.
Two groups of Filth spawned on a set of two platforms in front of her, they ran headfirst and then burnt the death the moment they stepped on the sand.
"What kinda sand is this?" Roman asked.
"It's actually not sand," Penny smiled as she corrected. "The surface of Greed is actually covered in tiny grains of gold, heated up by the blazing sun,"
"Oh great, manual labour and not even being allowed to touch the gold," Roman sighed.
Two Strays spawned on a pair of Pillars as Penny jumped through a group of platforms, she killed one with a coin, dashed around the other's projectiles and shot him with a revolver. Moving forward led her to a small gazebo with two Cerberus statues on the left and right which was covered in sand.
The one on the right broke free from its seat, Penny was sent flying as it dashed into her; she grabbed onto a pillar and pumped up her shotgun twice, and dashed towards the Cerberus, shooting it and punching it with her red arm.
The Cerberus took visible damage, but did not bleed a drop of blood much to Penny's surprise and frustration; she unloaded a barrage of overheated nails into the Statue to break it apart.
"So things covered in sand don't bleed? Does it like replace their entire bloodstream with sand?" Qrow asked.
"Aren't they suffering enough? Uncle Qrow," Yang motioned towards the screen.
She hopped across some more platforms, a sanded Maurice spawned next to a pillar holding a Soldier, another Soldier was on a further away Pillar.
Penny spun up the red revolver and shot at the face as he fired, dropping the sand covered demon to the floor and knocking the first soldier onto the burning sand. She parried the second Soldier's shots back at him as she moved forward.
She hopped onto some ruins, with some stairs leading up to a higher section of the ruined building from the sand it was half sunk into.
A Maurice and a group of sanded Filth spawned on the stairs while three sanded Soldiers and a Virtue spawned on the higher section.
Penny parried the Middle Soldiers orbs back into him killing one and knocking the other into the sand as she jumped up to avoid the Filth, then dashed as the Virtue's beam killed the Filth under her. She shot the electric fire of her railcannon at the Angel to instantly kill it, then slid down the stairs and punched one of the bullets of Maurice's barrage back at him, before pumping up her shotgun, dashing towards him and blowing him to bits with it.
She went back into the top section and noticed four pillars rising out of the sand leading to the entrance of a golden temple.
"This place is kinda cool looking, at least for Hell," Roman shrugged.
"If you're gonna suffer you might as well suffer in a style,"
"Right you are, Neo,"
The entrance of the temple was made up of two platforms, the top of which had a pair of stairs leading to it which 2 inactive Cerberi sat inbetween, the actual door to the temple was blocked off with a large circular gate that took up most of the top platform.
She walked up to the left side of the stairs.
A Maurice spawned alongside a Stalker, a deformed, skeletal Husk dressed in black and gold robes and a gas mask, it's head was turned 180 degrees and it's feet were backwards, it was also holding a large vial of golden dust on its "back" which was actually its chest.
"Good lord what is that?" Yang nearly vomited.
"A Stalker, someone who has evolved to more easily handle Greed's punishment," Penny explained.
"They've been here for that long?" Blake asked.
"Sadly, yes," Penny looked down.
The Stalker slowly hobbled over to Maurice, then slammed his capsule onto the Demon, killing himself and covering Maurice in sand, the gate then unlocked and sunk into the floor.
Penny quickly killed the Maurice by spinning up her revolver and shooting the shot that made his orbs explode in his face.
"And it covers enemies with sand, I already hate these guys," Ruby pouted.
"They don't seem particularly strong, they're nothing to worry about!" Penny smiled and reassured.
"Probably… doesn't make them less annoying," Ruby pouted.
Three Stalkers spawned on the left, right and middle of the top platform as the Two Cerberi began to break free.
Penny killed left with a coin, killed the middle one with her revolver, and then dashed towards the one on the right, slamming on the ground to launch him in the air then finish him off with a projectile boosted shotgun blast.
She jumped down to the lower part, avoiding the Cerberi's thrown apples in the process, she unloaded half of her regular nails and a barrage of overheated nails into one, dashing only once to dodge a swipe from the Demon. The other Demon became enraged and dashed towards her, Penny slid to the side and overpumped her shotgun, dashing as she let the thing explode right onto the Cerberus, notably cracking the enraged Demon.
It stomped on the ground, Penny jumped over the shockwave and unleashed a barrage of overheated nails into the Cerberus, turning it from Statue to pile of rubble.
She walked into the temple, obscenely large and sunlit with a walkway in the middle leading to a door down the middle, and two doors with a red or blue mural respectively down the sides.
There was also a pedestal with a book on it, Penny picked it up and scanned it.
"It has been days since we last saw any angels. Without their oppression, there is no need for us to carry on our punishment. Even the meekest of the damned have abandoned their penance to take up arms. All can see how they have robbed us of our minds, bodies, and souls, leaving us only the hopes of a salvation that will never come, but no longer.
King Ghirahas acted in secret until now, amassing an army whose strength and numbers swell, but now there is no need to hide anymore. We have lived in the shadow of Heaven long enough to forget the taste of fear. Now the BelladonianInsurrectionists prepare for war.
I have heard of Ozpinbeginning a peaceful revolution, but our King Ghiraknows such pacificity will gain no favor form our cruel captors. He knows that one can only fight power with power, and he shall lead us to freedom.
If only we knew the suffering that would befall us next…"
Penny threw the book when she was done reading it.
"Hey, I led an insurrection just like the good ol' days," Ghira smiled.
"Yeah, it failed, but I'm sure you were a great leader honey," Kali smiled
"Yeah, that reminds me what am I doing in Hell?"
"Well Mr. Belladonna, in this Universe you were the king of a city state, and upset God by constantly cheating death, as punishment you were forced to roll a boulder up a hill for all eternity," Penny explained, "They hoped it would break your will, but uhh…"
"If only they knew how powerful the spite of man can be, heh," Ghira chuckled.
Penny entered the Red Maurice door outdoors into an area with a set of tightknit stairs and platforms leading to the red skull protected behind some unbreakable glass on a plaform situated above some breakable glass, there was also a yellow orb in the middle.
She first collected a yellow orb from a secret area underneath the entrance, she then collected the yellow orb in the middle, giving Penny three shooting arms in total.
Three Maurices spawned, one of which was directly in front of Penny the other two were on the red skull platform.. She jumped up and shot her three shotguns right in the face of the Demon; Four Streetcleaners ran up the stairs as she jumped towards the other two Maurices. She hit both of them with two different triple shotgun blasts.
Two Schisms and a Soldier spawned at the top layer alongside a Stalker, a Virtue and Four Drones.
She dashed out of the way of the Virtue's beam and threw a casual 12 coins in the air, shooting them to annihilate all but two Streetcleaners and the Virtue in an instant.
She shot the breakable glass as the Streetcleaners walked on it, leading the robots to their dooms; she then dashed towards the Virtue with her three nailguns and destroyed it in an instant. She quickly shoved the red skull into one of her wings, bolted back into the temple and into the Blue Maurice room.
"Those stack?" Yang said in excited disbelief
"They do they do they do!" Ruby cheered.
She entered the large greenhouse, naturally lit by the sunlight coming through the windows, she grabbed a fourth yellow orb increasing her number of shooting arms to four.
Four Schisms and Four Drones appeared on one side alongside a Stalker, a group of Five Soldiers and one Stalker appeared on the other.
Sixteens coins killed most of the Husks, and anything else was shredded in an instant by her four overheated Nailguns
Two Virtues and Two Maurices appeared at either side of the arena, Penny quickly jumped to one side and fired four electric blasts from her railcannons, killing every enemy at once.
The extra arms quickly faded away as Penny shoved the blue skull into one of her wings, she then broke the window and jumped down some pillars so get to where the middle door of the temple would've taken her faster.
"Holy shit…" Was all Ruby could say, the scene to insane for her to comment.
"That was a whole army she just annihilated in a second!" Yang pointed at the screen in disbelief. "Fuck this Penny is scary, but like cool scary,"
She was outside again in an area with four small platforms stuck into the ground, the left and right held the red and blue pedestals, and the one at the end held the exit elevator. She put the skulls on the platforms, and a siren came out of the end platform and began to yell.
Something stomped down onto the platform from the sky, it was Blake! Though her only had one overly long arm holding a bloodied, particularly unfortunate Maurice; she was incredibly large and muscular and had a blindfold covering her bleeding eyes She wore a loincloth and some wrappings around her chest.
"Blakey you don't look too good," Yang chuckled.
"That I don't, the hell happened to me?"
"You participated in your Father's Insurrection… and then had everything that wasn't necessary for the punishment of Greed removed for failure,"
"Jeez," Yang gulped. "Heaven really didn't like getting insurrectioned, huh?"
"Er… sorry for getting your eyes and left arm cut off," Ghira jokingly apologised.
Blake chuckled. "All good,"
She swung her rock at Penny and knocked her into the red platform as Penny punched shotgun blasts at her, setting the Insurrectionist on fire. Blake jumped high into the air and slammed her Maurice onto the platform Penny was standing on, she dashed over to the other one as Blake landed, creating a shock wave that Penny jumped over as she unleashed a burst of overheated nails upon the Faunus who groaned in pain as she swung her rock at the robot who jumped over it in response. Blake limped across the sand, the blood her feet was covered in protecting her from it's scalding heat. Penny shot a charged piercer round into her as Blake jumped into the air again, and launched her boulder at her robotic enemy-
PLINK
Blake was sent falling to the floor, landing square on her ass as Penny shot a drill into her from the railcannon. She then punched another explosive shotgun blast into her as she dashed out of the way of an overhead slam, Penny then punched the drill straight through Blake, who groaned in pain as she fell to the floor dead.
The elevator opened, and Penny hopped in.
"Damn you got your ass kicked Blakey~" Yang teased.
"I'm missing like a quarter of my body, not my fault," Blake chuckled.
GREED THIRD / A SHOT IN THE DARK
Penny stepped out into a dark corridor with murals of Cerberi and scribblings on the golden walls and a pedestal holding a torch in front of her, she picked it up and waved it around until she hit a firepit, its lighting opening a door.
She walked forward until she reached a door with an eye on it and three unlit torches on it, a brazier was in front of it; lighting up the brazier lit up one of the torches on the door. Penny was going on a torch hunt.
"She's like a tomb raider," Blake mused. "Except more murder-ey,"
"Penny dash One would never steal!" Ruby defended.
"Stealing would be a touch too far to be honest," Yang overly enthusiastically nodded.
She walked back to the main hallway and entered a door to her left, she walked through a twisting hallway made of dull emeralds, then into a room with a brazier sat in front of a door. She lit it with her torch, but the door did not open; instead Two Schisms and Three Soldiers spawned near another brazier at the other side of the room. She punched a shotgun round towards the Brazier, setting the Schisms on fire; she dashed towards the Husks hell orbs whizzing past her face as she unleashed a storm of nails killing the Soldiers and further weakening the Schisms who were finished off by shotgun fire.
The door opened, leading Penny back to the main hallway.
The door to her right lead to a walkway that led to the third and final brazier, which she lit up with her torch.
A wave of Filth barelled towards her while two Strays fired upon her from the other end. She ejected the core from her shotgun and hit it with a coin; the beautiful red explosion lit up the room as she punched one of the Stray's hell orbs back into the Husks to blow them to bits.
As she re-entered the main hallway, three Strays jumped her and one of their orbs managed to hit her square in the shoulder, in a panic she shot a piercing revolver shot that missed; when they shot their next round of hell orbs she parried them into the Strays. She pouted as she stomped her way to the now open eye door
"Torch hunt complete, Master Detective Penny is masterful once more!" Ruby gushed.
Penny entered a room with four firepits and a hole in the ceiling, this room inscribed with yet more scribbles.
She punched a shotgun blast at one of the firepits, which slowly raised revealing itself to be a pillar. Four Schisms and Four Soldiers spawned.
Penny parried a hell orb into a group of two Schisms, then threw three coins in the air, dashed to avoid another barrage of orbs and shot the coins at the perfect time to split them into six and kill the Soldiers.
She lit up the next brazier with her torch and let herself be raised up into the ceiling as Two Cerberi and a Stalker spawned, she jumped into the small chamber above as the Cerb threw an apple at her.
Penny's eyes widened like a heroin addict as she saw the yellow orb sitting where the hole once was, she got a new shooting arm as she touched it, and punched two shotgun blasts each into the remaining firepits as she dodged another set of apples from the two sand covered Cerberi: Four Drones, Four Streetcleaners, a Virtue and a Maurice appeared.
"Ohh this is gonna be good," Yang whispered in anticipation as Penny grew another arm.
She shot two ricochetting shots that took out the streetcleaners and dented one of two Cerberi, she dashed out of the way of a Virtue's beam and jumped on top of a malicious face; she double pumped her shotguns and fired the maelstrom of bullets into the face, jumping off of its falling body and dashing towards the Virtue who died from a hail of nails. She punched a Cerberus' third apple back into it as she fell, killing it an enraging the Statue who dashed towards her as she overpumped her shotguns, dashing away as she shot and the Cerberus stomped, the two powerful explosions killing both it and causing a chain reaction in which all one Drone careened towards another Drone, exploding all four Drones to death.
The extra hand faded, and Penny smiled proudly as she went through the next door.
"I was so right," Yang pointed to herself, as Blake semi-sarcastically clapped, she also thought it was kinda cool.
She entered into a hallway of Filth murals, noticing that one was cracked she punched a shotgun blast into it and entered into a t junction with two doors: an open one and a boarded up one with a sign reading "Keep out".
Penny, not wanting to be told what to do punched another shotgun blast into it and walked into the Tomb of Kings.
Sarcophagi lined the walls, with a larger one at the far end behind a blue pedestal.
Penny committed minor graverobbery and broke each of the tombs, eventually grabbing a blue skull wearing a funny little purple hat, which she placed upon the pedestal; the large coffin began to shake until.
"Finally, our waiting puzzle is over!" A Skeleton wearing a knight helmet declared as he floated in the air.
"What?" The owl perched upon his shoulder sounded confused.
"Holy crap Mandalore Gaming," Blake pointed.
"Who?"
"Nevermind,"
She took potshots at the knight with her revolver as he kinda just floated there moving from side to side, occasionally throwing in some coins for extra damage.
"Full auto," The Mysterious Druid Knight shot a couple volleys of Hell Orbs moving so fast that they just didn't hit Penny; who began punching shotgun rounds into the Knight by now.
"Through the power of the Druids, I increase my speed!" The Knight very seriously declared as he moved slightly faster now.
"Just fucken' hittem!" The Owl chided.
"Fuller auto," The Knight ignored the Owl as he spawned a bunch of homing projectiles… that all promptly exploded in his face as Penny shot a spun up red revolver shot into them.
"GAGHH!" The Knight yelled in pain as he went flying towards a wall.
"Oh great now we lost the fight fantasti-" They hit the wall and blew up.
"Well that was weird," Ruby blankfaced.
"Kinda like that time Penny fought a really big rat," Yang added.
Penny picked up a written on slab that was being held within the Knight's sarcophagus.
Within the PYRAMID lies the chamber of THE FELINE and THE RODENT.
Within the CHAMBER lies a pool of clear WATER.
Within the WATER lies a SECRET...
But only those who wield the ELECTRIC magic of the Druids may find
it.
Penny actually elected to pocket this one, and head out on her merry way back into the t junction, the open door led to… another T junction though this one had a large mural of Winter with her face crossed out, and "TRAITOR" written in blood across it.
"You brutally put down another attempt at reform in Hell, didn't you Winter?" Qrow turned his head around.
"Maybe, you can't prove that it was me specifically!" Winter defended.
"I can't, but Penny probably can!" Qrow pointed to the robot.
"Winter targeted Ghira during the Insurrection because his followers relied on his leadership!"
"Dammit!"
She walked through the only door she hadn't been through yet and entered into a room with a long drop and a set of walkways with firepits on the sides that led up towards a platform with a brazier at the top.
She lit every firepit with her torch as she walked past: Two Streetcleaners and Two Soldiers spawned below on the stairways, alongside three Drones high up in the air, level with Penny.
She killed one Drone with a projectile boost, then another with a coin as she dropped down onto the stairs as the Streetcleaners ran their way up.
She slammed into the ground and sent One Streetcleaner and One Soldier plummeting into the abyss, she then threw a coin and shot it as the Streetcleaner that was now at the top of the stairs reached the Soldier that had also ran there. The machine exploded and sent the Husk into the abyss too. The last Drone was finished off with a shot coin.
Moving forward led to a room with a shallow pit of water and a Cerberus Statue, alongside some steps leading to a lit door, some bars stood next to it.
A Maurice spawned in front of the door, alongside a Virtue guarded by the bars, the Cerberus also began to break free.
Penny parried two hell orbs into the Maurice, sending it to the floor instantly; she dashed up the stairs towards the Virtue, avoiding the Cerberus' Apple and the Virtue's beam as she overpumped her shotgun, shooting it without dashing to launch herself in the general direction of the Cerberus. She dodged the Statue's stomp, double pumped her shotgun and shot it while bashing it with the Knuckleblaster, she slid to sidestep the Cerberus' own dash towards her and parried his next apple as she unleashed a flurry of nails, sending the shattered pieces of the Statue to the ground.
She then made her way towards the final room, a dark room with a pedestal that she placed her torch upon.
The whole room lit up with a green light coming from a tall, spinning generator in the middle, connected to six different platforms by walkways connected to a hexagonal platform that the generator stood upon.
"Murder Disco Murder Disco!" Nora pumped her fists.
Soldiers, Drones and Streetcleaners spawned on the other half of the arena in groups of four, while a single Virtue was on the other side.
Penny overpumped her shotgun and used the damaging blast to launch herself across the arena, throwing and shooting four coins as she did so to kill the four Drones; she near instantly killed the Virtue as she reached it with a barrage of overheated nails.
Two Maurices spawned at the opposite end of Penny, another Virtue floated inbetween the two Demons, and two Stalkers on two separate platforms on the left and right limped towards the Stoneheads.
She dashed through the left, using a Piercing shot to take out two Soldiers and the left Stalker, her speed letting her dodge everything sent her way as she parried one of the left Maurice's orbs back at it enraging the stone head who began to charge up his beam; Penny threw a coin into the Demon's face as he fired, sending it right back at him as she killed her second angel with another overheated nail burst, punching the dead orb into the wall to avoid being knocked back. She spun up her red revolver and fired as the Sanded Maurice shot his barrage of orbs, sending it falling to the ground and a couple Streetcleaner's into the abyss as they attempted to dodge.
Two Virtue spawned at the left and right platform respectively. Four Schisms and Four Strays joined the crowd slowly chasing Penny; the machine dodged two consecutive light beams, shot the core out of her shotgun, and then hit it with the malicious beam from her railcannon. The core nuke killed most of the fodder, leaving few enemies to be finished off by four coins.
She dashed towards and killed the first Virtue with nails, using the shockwave from its falling corpse to launch herself towards the other as she overpumped her shotgun. She dashed as the gun exploded in the Angel's face, she used the shockwave from its death to launch her straight into the exit elevator.
"Another victory for Penny!" Ruby cheered, hugging her robotic friend.
"Thank you Friend Ruby, but I have a feeling something big is coming," Penny said.
"Think she'll fight your dad's corpse?" Yang asked Blake.
"Hopefully not…?" She shrugged. "I already saw myself die so it wouldn't be too bad I guess,"
GREED CLIMAX / CLAIR DE SOLEIL
Penny exited the elevator into another dimly lit, yet still golden hallway consisting of a closed door down the middle, a door opened just a crack to her left, and a fully opened door to her right.
She looked through the crack and saw a room with a pool of water in the middle, and a mural of a cat and an obese hamster, she shot the electric shot from her railcannon into the water; the middle door slowly opened, shaking the whole temple as it did.
She entered the now open door, a new weapon: The Sawblade launcher sat utop a pedestal flanked by two murals of Winter. The large, beheaded Corpse of Ghira overlooked the room, a picture of the man face stood behind the pedestal; a blindfold covered his eyes which were dripping with molten gold.
"So that's a no to the fighting your dad idea," Yang said.
"Good,"
"Damn honey they fucked you up," Kali deadpanned.
"That they have," Ghira nodded.
Penny picked up the sawblade launcher, her blue nailgun faded to dust as it was replaced, she shot a single saw, saw it bounce across the walls and smiled as she went through the last open door.
She crawled through the dilapidated Pyramid, occasionally grazing burning piles of sand that had leaked through huge holes in the wall.
"It's in a state of disrepair, not surprising considering the death of this Ghira," Ozpin mused.
She eventually made her way to a long corridor lit up by natural sunlight, a huge door with a skull on it sat at the end.
Walking through the skull door entered into a large golden throne room lit up by torches, murals of all kinds on the wall and most importantly of all, PNY-2 lazing on the golden throne in the middle, her formerly missing arm replaced with a green, makeshift arm with a spear in the tip of the hand.
PNY-1 rolled her eyes as she walked forward, her successor looked at her with pure rage.
"Fake Penny's back, and she looks… pissed," Ruby mumbled.
"Interesting, she made a new arm for herself," Ozpin said. "She seems to have not taken being armnapped very well,"
Two stood up from the chair as her predecessor approached, cracked her knuckles, and pulled out her revolver as One did the sane, the two entered a standoff.
The two began to fire at the same time, rapidly dashing and sliding around to avoid eachother's bullets as they took potshots at one another.
One threw four coins in the air and-
PLINK
Two shot them before she could, causing the coins to freeze, flash red then launch straight into the Blue Machine's chest.
The Red one smirked as she rushed down One shooting nails at her, One shot a magnet down to neutralise the nails, then shot saws from her new weapon which circled around the magnet; the Blue Robot dodged an ejected core as she used a projectile boosted shotgun blast to launch Two into the sawblade trap.
Two winced as the saws grazed her, she jumped away from them and threw four coins in the air and shot them, one dashed just as the coins launched themselves towards her; One jumped into the air and ejected the core from her shotgun… which was then grabbed out of the air by the grappling hook embedded in Two's new hand and shot at a range that harmed neither of them, the Red machine looked more cocky than ever as she used the grappling hook to pull herself towards One, pumping up her shotgun as she did so. One let out a screech as she and Two fell to the floor, Two readied up her nailgun once more before-
BONK
The Red Machine somehow turned redder with rage as she was hit with her own former arm, One backed away as Two bum rushed her, her rage causing her to miss most of her shotgun blasts and nailgun bursts as Penny shot a couple of coins into her arm.
"I'd be mad if someone cut off my arm and slapped me with it," Qrow defended.
The gave Adam an idea as he smiled to himself looking at Yang, an idea for later though.
Two calmed down as One shot a piercing shot into her chest, Two retaliated with a shotgun blast that was punched back into her; she then began to back away as One pursued her shooting a burst of overheated nails into the Red Machine which were eventually neutralised by one of Two's magnets; Two then pulled herself towards One again, this time she kicked her away and shot some potshots at her with the revolver; she threw four coins in the air and
BZZZZT
Two screeched as One shot the coins with the electric railcannon, leaving a particularly noticeable burn mark in her stomach.
"And Penny continues to be the coinmaster," Ruby boasted for her Robot Galpal.
Jacques grumbled, he was the one with the most money here.
One slowly walked towards her staggered Successor, as she got close the Red Machine launcher her grappling hook towards a nearby pillar and yanked it, the pillar trapped One's lower half under it as Two bolted a wall, breaking a hole through it as she managed to escape her Predecessor yet again…
An explosion rang out across the entire room as One used the knuckleblaster to reduce the pillar to rubble.
"You are not getting away this time," One jumped towards the hole in the wall, chasing her Successor like a seasoned predator.
"Yeah Penny, get that other Penny!" Ruby pumped her fist.
The two Machines slid down the side of a Pyramid, Two yelping in shock as One fired a barrage of overheated nails into the machine.
Two tried to throw more coins but saw them shot out of the air and into her arm, the red machine was slowly losing her balance as she weakly retaliated with shotgun fire, One was punching shotgun blast after shotgun blast at the Machine.
One dodged a piercing shot from Two and dashed towards her, launching her straight off the Pyramid with a powerful punch from the Knuckleblaster. The Red Robot screeched as it flew through the air, Penny jumped off the Pyramid to land near her.
Two let out one final screech as she slammed to the floor of a golden platform, her eyes going from a glowing yellow to pitch black as she left a notable dent and a puddle of blood on the platform.
Penny left a similar dent as she landed gracefully, she walked up to the corpse of her successor and ripped off the green arm, detached her parrying arm and shoved it into her wings, and put the green arm in its place.
She grappled towards the far away exit elevator using the hook, which attached itself to a green orb near the elevator itself.
She jumped down the shaft into the next layer of Hell.
"Brutal," Yang said, "Guess that's it for that layer,"
"Yuppers, next tape goes in now," Slays said.
"That was cool, probably not gonna be seeing fake Penny anytime soon!" Ruby cheered.
"You never know Ruby," Qrow shook his head. "Those damn robots can be crafty, no offense,"
