Eugeal had returned to the house of Dr. Tomoe to report her failure, as usual he was disappointed with her failures. He went into his secret room to converse with his superior, the Sovereign of Silence.

"These failures need to stop soon, Doctor.", the voice speaking through the little girl wheezed. "If we can't find the talismans that form the Purity Chalice soon, then our master will be very displeased."

"Then perhaps I can help you with that.", another voice spoke up. Dr. Tomoe turned towards the source; a bearded man, with blond hair, wearing a formal suit.

"May I ask who we are addressing?", Tomoe said to the newcomer.

"My name is Vladimir.", he replied. "My master sent me here to secure your assistance with his goals, in exchange for help fulfilling yours." Beneath his disguise, Vladimir thought that this was just a lie to make himself seem more trustworthy. All the better to impress these primitives for long enough to obtain his objective.

The little girl seemed intrigued. "And what would you offer us for helping you?"

Vladimir smiled. "I can give you the secrets of a DNA basecode from a powerful species, not native to your dimension. This can help your Daimons become powerful enough to take down those pesky Sailors causing you trouble."

Now Tomoe was really smiling. "I like your style, my friend. What can you give us back?"

"All I ask is that you give the extract from your Daimon pods.", the General responded. "With that, my soldiers will be so powerful, our enemies won't even know what hit them."

After a short debate, Dr. Tomoe and the disembodied entity both consented to his plan. "What about this DNA base code you promised us?", Tomoe inquired. "When will you give this to us?"

Again, the General merely smiled. "I already have."

Within the office of the Bureau of Bad Behaviour's Witches 5 division, Eugeal's computer began to spark, with the I,ages on the screen being replaced with a form of code. "Whoa, what is this? I've never seen anything like it.

As if on cue, the direct line to Dr. Tomoe rang, with Eugeal answering it to hear a voice she didn't recognise. "Don't worry, this is just my little gift to you. Someone will be appearing shortly to show you how to use it."

"Wait-?", Eudial blurted out. "Who are-?" But the other end rung off before she could get an answer.

She was then immediately joined by a grey skinned, golden horned man in black overalls. "So you're who I'll be working with on this project.", the man stated. "I'm sure it'll be a pleasure."

Back on Neathia, Ren was going through the Professor's discarded tablet. "It seems that his research led to the discovery of this crystal, a nexus point between two universes.", Ren explained. "That incantation was a spell to trigger its powers, which will stay active until everyone who passed through it has left that dimension."

"So what would happen if the portal ended up staying open indefinitely?", Fabia asked.

"Unclear, but the crystal apparently absorbs energy from the organisms around it, in order to sustain the portals it opens.", Ren explained. "And right now, there's no known way to bring back anyone that's been sent through to the other side."

"We'll worry about that later.", Dan stated. "Right now, who knows what those Gundalian creeps are up to on the other side? We have to stop them." He touched the Crystal, beginning to fade out.

"Dan, wait. We need to plan this out.", Fabia spoke up, grabbing her friend's hand, being sucked through along with him and their Bakugan.

Ren was left alone with Linehalt. "They've gone.", the Bakugan commented.

"And right now, we've no way to bring them back.", Ren added. "Looks like it's all up to those two."

"But what if they can't stop Vladimir from bringing what he was after back here?", Linehalt asked.

"They'll do their part, and we'll do ours.", was Ren's answer. "For now, we should prepare the others in case they need our help on the other side."

And in the city of Tokyo, both Dan and Fabia emerged, landing on the ground. Thankfully, neither was particularly injured, and both recovered quickly. "Wait a minute.", Fabia realised as she took in the scenery. "Are we back on Earth?"

Drago popped out of his ball. "I don't know. I've been around Earth a lot longer than you and Aranaut, and this feels off."

"Indeed.", Aranaut came out of his ball to nod in agreement. "And look. The whole environment looks different." Sure enough, the colours around them were far less saturated, with there being few people around them, and the ones who were either weren't moving or were shuffling along like they were stick puppets. "We've entered an alternate Earth to the one Dan hails from."

"Which means we likely can't call upon anyone to help us.", Dan pointed out. He then threw his Castle Knight uniform off, revealing his regular outfit from back on Earth. "But if we're to find where those Gundalians got to, we'll have an easier time blending in with our normal clothes."

Acknowledging the logic, Fabia threw off her own uniform. "I imagine those Gundalians won't have the same regard for subtlety. "We can find them simply by looking for the obvious guys clad in armour walking the streets."

Sure enough, the Gundalian soldiers were making their way down the streets, not bothering to blend in with the locals, closing in on four of their targets. "Okay, the Professor wants us to eliminate these 4 girls for what reason?", one of them asked.

"7, there's at least 3 more who he thinks could pose a threat.", the superior of the group answered, presenting pictures of 7 girls, including the 4 they were approaching, and a young man. "While their identities as costumed heroes are unknown to most of the populace, the Professor located them via facial matches. If we can take them out, then we can win the allegiance of this Dr. Tomoe person."

And talking of the girls, Amy was showing Raye, Lita, and Mina (Serena had a commitment with Rini, her daughter from the future) the data on her computer. All of them were intrigued.

"Amy, where do you suppose this mysterious code comes from?", Lita asked.

But before an answer could be given, a group of mysterious men, wearing armour that covered their entire bodies, except for their mouth areas, which we coloured an inhuman grey.

"The Heart Snatchers have armoured up?", Raye said, already moving into a defensive position.

Mina answered her. "Those guys aren't from around here. They're from somewhere else. We need to transform, now!"

Quickly, the four girls pulled out their henshin pens and transformed into their alter-egos; Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus. "Venus Star Power!"

"Mercury Star Power!"

"Mars Star Power!"

"Jupiter Star Power!"

After the 4 transformed, the Gundalian troops were momentarily phased. "I can see why the Professor thought we should eliminate these girls."

"Then let's stop standing here and get on with it.", the squad captain nodded, as everyone pulled out their Bakugan and threw them. "Bakugan Brawl!"

The grunts' Bakugan - consisting of Pyrus Ziperator, Sub Terra Damakor and Aquos Gren - emerged in their true forms. "What are those things?", Jupiter asked.

"I don't know, but I'm gonna take them down.", Mars declared, before initiating her attack. "Mars Celestial Fire, Surround!"

As she launched balls of fire at her foe, one of the troops countered. "Ability, activate! Tetra Blaster!" The Ziperator fired a beam from his mouth that collided with the fire, with both attacks cancelling each other out.

Jupiter was the next to attack. "Sparkling Wide Pressure!" She generated a ball of lightning, sending it towards the Sub Terra Damakor.

But its master was quick on the draw. "Ability, activate! Thermal Cannon!" Damakor fired his own attack, which overwhelmed Jupiter's and sent all 4 girls flying.

"They're countering all our attacks.", Mercury noted.

"Even so, we can't give up against these things." Venus stepped forward, unleashing her own attack. "Venus Crescent Beam, Smash!"

She threw this attack at the Aquos Gren, whose master used his own attack in kind. "Ability, activate! Freezing Fang!" This attack overwhelmed the Crescent Beam and froze all of the Scouts in place. "That was too easy.", the grunt commented as he walked towards the group.

"Moon Tiara Action!" The flying projectile flew towards the Gundalians, stopping them in their tracks and releasing the 4 Sailor Soldiers from their frozen prison. Everyone then turned to behold the newcomer, who had a combination between big tails and a ponytail. " You've dared to attack my friends without any provocation or motivation. And now I'm gonna have to send you back to your station."

The other Sailors could only stare in bemusement. "Is she really rhyming this time?", Raye asked.

"Well this is the second time she's had to do a speech today.", Jupiter said in response.

"I'm Sailor Moon!", the girl declared as she struck a pose. "And in the name of the Moon, I shall punish you!"

The Gundalians were unfazed. "Good luck with that, Miss Sailor Moon.", their leader announced. "Ability, activate! Swap Ton!"

"Great Tusk!" The Gren's tusks glowed with energy, as it moved to lunge.

"Stalactite Spear!" The Damakor slammed one of its feet into the ground, sending spikes of rocks flying into the air, before they came back down. Sailor Moon turned and started to run away from all three attacks, which were slowly closing in.

"Bakugan, stand! Pyrus Lumino Dragonoid!" Before anyone could see where his voice was coming from, Dan arrived on the scene, sending out Drago to do battle. "Ability, activate! Lumino Reflector!" Drago erected a shield that blocked all three attacks from reaching their targets. "Are you alright?", he asked his would-be damsel.

"I'm fine now.", was Sailor Moon's answer. "But I should probably stop drinking so much juice."

"That's no hallucination, Meatball Brain.", Mars spoke up. "We're all seeing some kid commanding a giant dragon to do his will."

"No, that's impossible.", the Gundalian leader gasped with shock. "How did Dan Kuso follow us here?"

"The same way you creeps used to get here.", was Dan's answer.

"You know it's bad manners not to close the door behind you.", Drago mocked. "Because you never know who might come in after you. Dan?"

"Right, Buddy. Ability, activate! Particle Wave!" Drago unleashed a beam of energy at the Damakor, knocking it back into ball form.

The Gren then moved into attack, at which point Fabia made her appearance. "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan, stand! Let's go, Haos Aranaut!"

Aranaut soon emerged in his giant form. "In the name of the Castle Knights, you shall not be allowed to further damage this world."

"Ability, activate! Mirage Fist!" At Fabia's command, Aranaut generated a gauntlet like attachment on his arm, which he used to punch Gren backwards, knocking him back into ball form.

The last of the Gundalians however, was quick to press the attack. "You two may have followed me here, but that won't save you. Ability, activate! Chain Boost!" His Ziperator then extended the tendrils on its shoulders to wrap up the two Bakugan.

"We've got to help them.", Mercury insisted. "And I think I know how." She pressed the buttons on her Mercury Computer, summoning the same blue creature - those people had called it a Bakugan - and grabbing onto it. "Bakugan Brawl!" As if on instinct, the ball rolled through the air, before bursting open on the ground. "Bakugan, stand! Aquos Akwimos!"

As the digital clone of Akwimos emerged , Drago and Aranaut were surprised. "Is that… Akwimos?", Drago asked.

"That's impossible.", Aranaut stated. "Marucho should be back on Neathia."

"Ability, activate!", Mercury called out, reading the card to ascertain what exactly she was using to fight back with. "Spiral Pressure?" The digital Akwimos unleashed torrents of water at Ziperator, defeating him in one shot. "I can't believe it. I actually managed to use that…" She paused to try and remember the word those other two had used "Bakugan to fight."

As Dan and Fabia took note of her, the Gundalian commander was angry at losing. "How did these girls get their hands on a Bakugan? We'd better report back to the General." All of the Gundalians nodded, before their Bakugan teleported them away.

With the chaos ended, the two Brawlers and the Scouts began talking to each other. "So, what's with the weird get up?", Fabia asked. "It looks like a school uniform, but more… revealing."

"This is just our work clothes, so to speak.", Mars answered, reverting to Raye Hino to demonstrate. She then took stock of both Dan and Fabia's confused reaction. "What, you've never seen a girl magically change clothes before?"

"Well, you see…", Drago said as he burst out of his ball. "Magic isn't really a thing where we come from. We might need to compare notes somewhere."

"That might be wise.", Mercury spoke up. "You two seem to know more about those Bakugan creatures, and I'm sure you know the thugs who used them to attack us."

Dan and Fabia decided to huddle and discuss the matter of working with this group of magically empowered schoolgirls. "Perhaps we could try and ask for help from these girls.", Dan suggested. "If the Gundalians were targeting them, they must be on our side."

"Good point.", Fabia nodded. "And this magic they employ might be as useful an asset as the local knowledge we desperately need."

Drago and Aranaut flew over to the girls, who were startled. "We've agreed to an alliance with your group.", Drago stated.

"Do you have a headquarters or barracks of some kind where we can convene and compare notes?", Aranaut asked.

Venus was the one to answer this. "I can think of somewhere."
