Chapter 2: Rediscovering myself and averting Fate.

Amethyst Midnight… that was the name the recently deceased Detective recalled after encountering the two girls, Weiss and Blake.

It was thanks to them that not only did he remember his name, but he knew certain subjects in his forgotten memory. He remembers the world of Remnant, Aura, Semblance, Dust, the Four Kingdoms, the Grimm, the Huntsman Academies and Huntsmen.

He is a detective who works for the Vale Police Department, or VPD for short, which they are currently are, the Kingdom of Vale, Beacon Academy. Why is he there? He wasn't sure.

He knows that he is a Faunus, people with animal parts, making him a Cat Faunas. He also recalled that the Faunus were sadly considered second-class citizens and were looked down upon. He recalled that he was also looked down upon, but that fact never brought him down as he remembered how hard he worked to rise to the ranks of the VPD and earned the title of Detective.

He didn't know why, but being a detective felt essential to him, and he now knows that helping and saving lives meant so much to him. Seeing all the tragedies around him, he couldn't help but feel a growing anger at the scene, watching the Grimm harming innocent people, but nothing made him angrier than the Faunus, who was wearing Grimm-like masks—the White Fang.

The Ghost Detective remembered them well. They were once a peaceful group of protestors filled with Faunus who wanted equal rights, but the moment their leaders changed, they were turned into a terrorist organisation. Being a Faunus himself, he could not help but feel disgusted that they would resort to violence. Seeing them here causing additional destruction only made him grit his teeth in frustration that he was now a ghost and couldn't do anything to bring them to justice.

But right now, he could only watch as the two girls were fighting off the Grimm and White Fang grunts with success and precision, and the robots, or Atlesian Knights, as he remembered, suddenly started attacking them out of the blue.

"Wow! Look at those two go! I've never seen anyone fight like the way they do." Sissel says in awe as he watches Weiss and Blake defeat their opponents.

"That's the strength of Huntress or Huntress-in-training you're seeing." Amethyst said, earning the attention of his friend.

"You're starting to remember." The Detective nodded while the two girls now stood back-to-back.

"Not all of them. But thanks to these two girls, I'm starting to have the pieces back together." The Detective then noticed that the two looked like they were about to split up. "I'd like to tell you more about my world, but it looks like Weiss and Blake are about to split up."

Sissel noticed that Weiss was heading to a group of friendlies while Blake chased a Grimm alone. He then decided to jump from Weiss's rapier to Blake's secondary weapon. "Might as well follow you, seeing Blake plan to fight alone."

Seeing the logic in that, Amethyst agrees to stay with Blake to ensure nothing serious will happen to her.

The young woman in black began to chase the Grimm near what appeared to be the dining hall, where parts of the wall were now openly damaged. But only to stop when she heard a pained scream, making her and the two ghosts turn to the source.

They see a young man with short red hair and horns on his temple. He wears black attire but wears a Grimm-like mask covering his eyes and wields a red and black katana sheath. And it would seem that he just recently killed a young man, an Atlas Student, Amethyst remembers.

But before the Ghost Detective could say or act, he immediately froze when Blake noted a name that struck something inside him.

"No… Adam?" The moment Blake muttered that name, like last time, memories began to rush towards his head.

"Adam Taurus! For the crimes of terrorism, mass murder, theft and crimes against both humans and Faunus throughout the Four Kingdoms, you are to stand down and surrender immediately!" Amethyst shouted as he pointed his gun at a seething Adam Taurus, who was standing on a damaged train.

"Traitor! You dare side with the humans against your own kind?!" Adam Taurus accused him as he pointed his blade towards Amethyst, who in turn was pointing his gun at him. Behind him was a large squad of VPD, all pointing their guns at him.

"Shut up! Don't you dare compare me to you and your band of bloodthirsty monsters!" Amethyst shouted back at Bull Faunus. "I am the man of the law! I will do everything I can to stop you White Fang bastards as long as I live!"

"–yst! –thyst! –AMETHYST!" The Ghosts detective snapped out of his memories before realising that Sissel was calling out for him.

"S-Sissel? What's–?"

"Go to the Ghost World! Hurry!" Sissel frantically cried out, startling the Ghost Detective, but before he could ask why, he suddenly heard a cry of rage from a young woman.

The moment Amethyst turned to look at the source, he froze in his tracks with a look of horror.

Why, you ask? Because he just witnessed the man in red, Adam Taurus, he recalls, just slicing off a young blond woman's arm. Another he immediately recognised.

"NO!" Amethyst immediately activates the Ghost World, and everything around him freezes, suspending the injured young woman in mid-air and Adam in a drawing stance.

"Nononononono! What just happened?!" The Detective cried out, wondering how could all this just happened!

"You were in another trance." Sissel explained with a look of grimace. "While you were at it, Blake was trying to fight off this monster, and she was losing badly. He even made horrible threats to her and her family! He even stabbed her in the gut with his sword!"

Amethyst could only narrow his eyes in disgust at how Taurus would be so ruthless, just as he remembered him to be.

"And then all of a sudden this girl came out of nowhere and screamed in pure rage and just charged recklessly towards him trying to punch him and then…" The cat stopped explaining before looking away, not needing to finish that last part. "I tried to wake you up but…"

Amethyst could only look away in shame and guilt. Here he was remembering something at a crucial moment, and it had to be that terrorist scum, and it ended up getting two good girls hurt. He could only look at the lying injured girl watching in horror towards her friend and up to the injured blond in regret. "Blake… Yang… I am so sorry…"

"You know this one?" Sissel asked, a bit surprised that Amethyst even knew this girl.

"I do… but that's not important right now! What's important is that we have two injured Huntress-in-training and a mass murdering terrorist on the loose!" Amethyst says as he quickly turns serious before wondering how the White Fang is involved in all this. 'Why is Taurus and the WF here? Are they responsible for this chaos?'

Amethyst quickly shook his head from that thought, thinking that now was not the time to think about that. What's important is how to save these girls. But how?

"Amethyst!" Sissel starts getting his attention. "I don't know if you have forgotten, but when we arrived here, that monster just killed a boy not too long ago. Which means…"

Amethyst eyes widened, and he recalled that there was a dead person not long ago, and he smirked, knowing what that meant. "I can save that guy's life! And potentially change the events for these two!"

"That's right! I've watched the whole thing, unfortunate, but I can safely assume you can even help assist these two by averting this boy's fate!"

"Right! Let's do it! Where's the body?" Amethyst asked as he looked around the damaged and burning dining hall.

"The body is just by where Blake entered." Sissel says, pointing in the direction where Blake entered the building.

Amethysts see the entrance and see the body not too far away from it.

Without a second thought, the Ghost Detective travelled out of Blake's weapon and travelled from object to object until finally reaching his destination.

Upon reaching the corpse, he saw the student wearing a hat. Unable for him to tell who it was, he could see that there was a fatal slash and stab wound on his body as a puddle of blood leaked out of his body.

Amethyst could only grimace and feel bad for the boy. "Don't worry… I'll make sure… To change your Fate!"

The Ghost Detective possessed the corpse, and just like last time, he experienced the same phenomenon as he did before saving Roy's life. Just like before, he was in a different place and saw a ball of smoke, the boy's soul, floating and like before, it didn't respond at all, confirming that he was unconscious.

"You ready, Amethyst?" Sissel asked.

"Ready!" The Ghost Detective declared, and like before, time began to rewind.

Four minutes before the Atlas Student's death

The said boy ran into the dining room, thanks to the damaged walls, before hiding behind one of its walls. He looked exhausted and tried to take deep breaths as he held his rifle by his chest.

"What the hell is going on? Why have our Atlesian Knights turned against us?!" The student questioned himself as he tried to make sense of it all. "Where they hacked? No! That's impossible! Atlas has the greatest technology in all of Remnant, so that shouldn't be possible!"

The boy tries to deny it all as he tries to contact his fellow students by pulling out his Scroll. "Mayday! The Atlesian Knights have turned against me and the rest of my classmates! I'm all that's left, requesting reinforcement now!"

As much as he tried to, all he received was static, making him grunt in frustration. Then he flinched when he heard more shooting and the sound of Grimm in the distance.

Trying to calm himself, he checks his equipment and gun and sees they are still in working order.

"Okay… I need to get out of here…" The boy says as he shakes up and looks at his surroundings. He cautiously walks deeper into the dining hall. "I just to find the others, and I can survi–Ghugh?!"

Before the boy could finish his sentence, he gasped in pain from his back and felt something poking up on his stomach. He slowly looks down, and to his horror, he sees a sword stabbing right through his body. He felt growing weaker to the point that he dropped his rifle.

"Filthy humans. You and the rest of your kind will die today." The Atlas student heard a voice behind him, making him slowly turn his head around to see that it was Adam Taurus, giving a sadistic smirk at his success in fatally injuring the student.

The boy couldn't say anything as blood was gurgling his throat, and seeing that amused the Bull Faunus. Then he viciously pulled his sword out of him, making the boy turn and face him and without hesitation, Adam held his grip on his weapon with both hands and raised it before quickly bringing it down on the boy, but before it reached him, everything turned white.

Back in the Ghost World, inside the Atlas student's body

"Now that was just plain brutal." Sissel says with utter disgust at the scene.

"Not surprising that Adam Taurus would do something so evil." Amethyst says with a snarl of hate and disgust.

"That's the red guy's name?" The Detective nods before glaring at the distance.

"I know him because he's a disgrace to every single Faunus in Remnant claiming that what he's doing is right…" Amethyst snarled, recalling all the atrocities he'd done in the White Fang, almost making him not want to remember. "Damned terrorist is what he is…! If only I had caught him during that train incident!"

"Whoa! Easy there, buddy, remember what you need to do." Sissel tries to calm him down. He understood his anger, but he needed to stay focused right now.

"Right, right. Sorry." Amethyst took slow breaths before recomposing himself. "Okay… let's see what we can do."

The moment he said that, a violet hourglass appeared, and the sands from the bottom rewound themselves as the purple sands inside rose back to the top. Then everything turned white

Four minutes before the Atlas students died in the Land of the Living

Just like before, Amethyst is currently at the exact location where the boy died. At the same time, Sissel was possessing broken debris in the dining hall.

"Okay… four minutes from now, the poor guy is going to get stabbed. How do you want to handle this?" Sissel asked while the boy had now just entered the dining hall.

"What I want to know is where Taurus came from. I think that's the key to preventing the kid from being stabbed from behind." Amethyst points out, making Sissel nod in that logic.

"He's not in the dining hall, that's much for sure." The cat confirmed as he looked around, seeing that Taurus was indeed not seen inside.

"Then he's outside. I'll try to look outside." Amethyst did that by possessing scattered chairs, tables, dining utensils, broken kitchen equipment and even food, either scattered or still intact scattered around. He starts by trying to look outside where the boy first entered. He couldn't go further because he had nothing else to possess outside, but fortunately, he possessed the student's Scroll to view his surroundings better.

As he looked out, to his sudden surprise, then turned to anger, he saw Adam Taurus just outside the dining hall, simply walking by the walls of the damaged building.

"There he is!" Sissel said as he caught up with Amethyst by possessing one of the rubbles near the wall.

"And he's just walking casually as if the sky is clear as day." Amethyst growled, seeing how the terrorist didn't seem bothered by all the pain and suffering around him.

Then suddenly, the Bull Faunus stopped the moment when the boy began frantically calling for help. The Detective silently flinched due to the static noise due to his possessing the Scroll. Still, he ignored all that because he saw Adam hearing the student's words, and it made him snarl as he began to walk slowly towards where the boy was hiding while drawing his weapon.

"Oh snap! So that's how this kid got killed… he unintentionally gave away his position." Sissel says as he watches Taurus grow closer to the unaware student.

The Ghost Detective then activated the Ghost World to stop anything from happening. "Now, how do I do this next? Looking around, I see that there's not much I can possess to stop this monster."

Sissel also looked around and saw that it was so, but a thought appeared to the ghost cat. "Instead of stopping him… why not warn the kid?"

"Warn him?" Amethyst hummed as he carefully thought of it. It sounds like a good idea. As he said before, there's nothing to possess to make Adam Taurus stop, so warning this kid was the next best thing. But the question is, how?

As the Ghost Detective thought long and hard, he turned to glare at the White Fang terrorist, but then he remembered something else from him.

A memory resurfaced, recalling the time that he, along with his fellow VPD, was close to apprehending the terrorist. During that time, he was physically exhausted, thanks to the fact that none of his fellow officers were killed when he fought them. Still, in that particular memory, he remembers despite Taurus using a sword, his sheath was also a gun.

"His sheave is a gun!" Amethyst shouts out from his recollection, startling the cat ghost a bit.

"W-What?"

"I remembered that not only does he use a sword but a gun in the form of a sheath!" The Ghost Detective said, getting a surprised look from the cat.

"Oh yeah… I did see him do that, and Blake's weapon did turn into a gun when they both thought." Sissel says as he recalls that particular fact.

"And since I can possess it, I can make the gun shoot, and the sound can warn the kid!" True to what the Ghost Detective says, the sheath has a core on it, making it possible to possess and potentially manipulate.

"That's brilliant! You better do it now. Taurus is already close enough as it is." Amethyst nodded at that, and without a second thought, he transferred himself from the Scroll to Adam Taurus's sheath. As much as he hated being close to him, he had to save the boy.

The moment he did, he could tell the sheath was loaded with seven rounds of Dust Bullets. He could easily trigger the weapon, but he noticed that the muzzle was facing forward, so he needed to be careful where to aim, which was fortunate, seeing that it was facing the wall where the boy was hiding. And in a moment, he willed the weapon to shoot.

*BANG*

The sound of the gun and the bullet crashing on the wall startled the Atlas student and the White Fang Faunus.

"What?!" Adam shouted in bewildered shock that his gun and sheath, Blush, suddenly fired on its own. The recoil made him stutter back a bit by the unexpected force of the bullet.

This made the student quickly stand up in alarm at how close the sound of the shot was and the fact that he felt the impact of the bullet behind the damaged wall he was resting on and had a look of shock and horror as he recognised the who was the one who fired.

"A-Adam Taurus?!" The student shouted in fear and panic as he aimed his gun at the terrorist, making the said Faunus growl in frustration that he was found out because of his weapon.

"You did it! You managed to warn the kid!" Sissel cheered.

"Yeah… and it looked like I was able to alter this kid's fate." Amethyst smirked at that achievement, knowing that he had now made a checkpoint for this kid's fate, but they were not out of the woods, knowing that Adam would not give up so easily to kill his target as he and Sissel watched what would happen next.

The frightened student began to fire at the Faunus, but he either dodged or blocked the bullets with his sword, and then Adam jumped in the air using the broken wall as a stepping stone. He somersaulted the shocked student, making him land behind him. The moment the student turned around, Taurus swiped his sword at him, effectively cutting the boy's gun in half and cutting him as well. Fortunately, his Aura protected him, but it shattered quickly, making the student crash to the ground in pain.

"No! His Aura broke! He's completely defenceless!" Amethyst shouts in concern.

"He's just as fast as when he fought against Blake!" Sissel says in a panic.

The shaken student tries to crawl away from Adam, who is slowly walking towards him.

"Please… no! I don't even have anything against the Faunus!" The poor student begged for his life, but that seemed only to enrage the Bull Faunus.

"You think I care about what you humans think? The only thing I care… is that you all die by my hands!" Adam shouted as he raised his sword to cut down his wounded prey.

Amethyst was about to intervene, but within his line of sight, he saw a girl in a black bow behind the terrorist.

*BANG*

"Ghua!?" Adam grunted in pain at the sudden attack from behind him. His Aura shielded it, but that didn't mean he felt the impact.

He turned around in rage to see who would dare attack him, but to his surprise, it was his former love, Blake Belladonna. "Blake…?"

"Blake?! I almost forgot about her!" Sissels says in both shock and relief.

"Yeah… me too… I was just about to intervene just now." The Ghost Detective added just as relieved as the ghost cat is.

"Go! Get out of here!" Blake shouted, not looking away from her former love with a look of rage.

The boy didn't need to think twice as he quickly got up and ran, but not before tripping a bit out of the dining hall.

Adam was about to pursue but blocked another gunshot from Blake with his sword, Wilt. And with that action, the boy successfully escaped with his life.

"Holy moly! Blake was able to save the kid!" Sissel cheered. "All she needed was just enough time and a distraction."

Amethyst smiled, happy and proud that not only was the Atlas student alive, but Blake also stepped in to help. "Yeah… this means… that kid's Fate has been averted!"

Atlas Student's Fate: Averted!

Not long ago, Blake was just chasing a Grimm near the dining hall, but before she could continue, she suddenly heard a gunshot not too far from her. Concerned, she carefully hid herself against the wall and peeked.

She almost regretted doing so when she saw a familiar face. The disguised Faunus silently gasped in shock and fear at seeing Adam Taurus again. A million questions filled her head. Why is he here? Was he responsible for all of this?

But before she could further entice these questions, her thoughts snap back when he sees her former lover attack an Atlas Student and was nearly going to kill him after the boy begged for his life and admitted that he had nothing against the Faunus but was denied when Taurus said he didn't care and just wanted them dead.

That made something inside Blake snap. She knew that Adam had changed during their time in the White Fang together but left knowing she couldn't take it anymore with their violent methods, mainly Adam's, but after hearing him admit that he would kill all humans regardless of the reason, she knew that she needed to stop him. The first thing she did was save the Atlas Student, and now she is pointing her Gamble Shroud at her former lover.

"Adam! Why are you doing this?" Blake glared at him as she pointed her weapon in its gun form.

"You and I were going to change the world, remember? We were destined to light the fires of revolution!" Adam shouted before he pointed Wilt at her. "Consider this… the spark."

"You've gone completely insane!" Blake shouted in righteous anger at him before she began shooting at him, but the Bull Faunus simply used Wilt to block them with great speed.

"It's you who's insane! Siding with the humans!" Adam roared as he pulled out Blush with his right hand, and it turned to its gun form.

Blake was about to use her Semblance to dodge it, but to both of their surprise, the moment Adam pulled the trigger… nothing happened.

"…WHAT!?" Adam shouts in confusion as he keeps pulling the trigger repeatedly, but all it does is make clicking noises. He quickly examined his weapon as he raised it close to him in growing confusion about why Blush was acting this way, and to make matters even odd, the gun suddenly fired, slightly jumping that it suddenly fired on its own as the bullet shot towards the ceiling.

Blake simply watched in confusion, still on guard, seeing the odd site of her former lover acting this way. Never in her life had she ever witnessed his weapons having a malfunction of sorts. Aside from this, she would laugh now if it were any situation.

"What is going on?! Why is Blush–!" Before the Bull Faunus could finish his sentence, he was suddenly tackled by a Creep Grimm, making Blake sightly jump by the unexpected Grimm. She silently scolded herself for not carefully watching her surroundings, but thankfully, Adam's evident growing frustration made him a bigger target.

Adam was growing more frustrated by the second. First, his Blush fired on its own, altering the human he wanted to kill, and then Blake showed up to protect the same human. Now Blush was malfunctioning, seeing that it was failing to shoot, and now a lowly Grimm was trying to rip his head off!

With a roar of anger, Adam kicks the Creep off him and quickly gets up, then slashes the Grimm in half with Wilt, killing it. And just as he was about to turn to Blake… Blush suddenly fired again!

The Bull Faunus grunted in pain as he stifled an unexpected yelp from him. Blake could only watch as her eyes widened and her jaw slightly opened, and she nearly dropped her guard as she would never expect to see something so… comedic right before her eyes.

Why did she find it comedic? Because Blush had shot Taurus on his left foot.

Adam, in a growing amount of rage, slowly looks at his gun, realising that it is facing downward, aiming at his foot courtesy of his holding it downward.

*Bang*

Another shot happened. And it shot the foot again. Naturally, his Aura took the hit, but that didn't mean he felt the impact.

He paused for a moment, and without warning, he roared in rage and immediately threw Blush away, straight into the kitchen room of the dining hall, where the wall was destroyed enough to see the entire inside.

He takes deep, angry breaths to calm himself while Blake watches it all. Never had she seen that Adam's weapon… would turn against him! Seeing his back as she watched his shoulders go up and down as he breathed, without knowing it, made her say something intentionally or unintentionally that her partner would be proud of.

"Having technical difficulties, Adam?" Blake couldn't help but snark, making the Bull Faunus freeze. Suddenly, his sword glowed red, and he quickly turned around while slashing motion that created a red energy strike towards her, catching her off-guard. The attack hit her, and she was sent flying a bit of a distance away from him and crashed against the dining hall wall, making her Aura flicker from the impact.

The Faunus-in-hiding cursed herself for letting herself drop her guard like that, but the bizarre scene she had witnessed almost made her forget about Adam's Semblance: Moonslice.

"This could've been our day! Can't you see that?!" Adam shouted at Blake, who was struggling to get up as if he was pretending that nothing had happened to him.

"I never wanted this! I wanted equality I wanted peace!" Blake cried out. She raised her gun and shot Adam, but only for him to block the bullets with his sword.

"What you want is impossible!" The Bull Faunas shoots in frustration, seeing that his former lover would not listen to his reasoning. "But I understand because all I want is you, Blake."

The Faunus terrorist began to approach Blake slowly, with a slight limp as he walked. She got up and turned her gun into its sword mode as she took a stance. "And as I set out upon this world and deliver the justice mankind so greatly deserves, I will make it my mission to destroy everything you love."

"Blake!" The voice of someone Blake recognises catches the attention of one of the broken windows. Yang was looking for her after she shot a White Fang grunt before resuming her search. "Blake! Where are you!?"

Adam then looks at Blake's terrifying expression, which makes him start with his sinister promise. "Starting with her."

"NO!" Blake shouts in both fear and denial as she quickly runs and attacks her former lover.

The yell was enough for Yang to hear inside the dining hall. "Huh?"

Yang then watches in horror, seeing her partner attack Adam, whom she doesn't know and recognise, only for him to block Blake's swords, then counterattacks by slashing her through her chest enough to crash back down on the ground and breaking her Aura.

This action was enough to infuriate Yang. As she cried out in rage, her eyes turned red, and fire burst from behind her. "GET AWAY FROM HER!"

Blake could only watch in fear and horror, seeing her partner charge towards Adam and leaps to him as she cocks her fist back in preparation to punch him. Adam simply stands there and prepares to cut her as he charges his Semblance, thanks to the attack she gave him. All she could do was reach out helplessly for the inedible.

"No… please…" She begged in whispers, but it was all ignored as she watched. She watched Yang, still blind in rage, in the attempt to take down Adam while he just simply took a drawing cut stance, his weapon glowing red as his target was in range. He slashes! Aiming at Yang's incoming fist. And something flying comes out from that attack.

Blake could only slowly widen her eyes, and her jaw dropped. But not in horror. It was… bewilderment.

Everything was in slow motion, and if one had a good eye for what happened, they'd all react the same way as Blake. Fortunately, Adam and Yang all saw it, too. Adam, who was smirking that he thought he prevailed, dropped his jaw in disbelief, and Yang, who was in a rage, also reacted the same.

Because the thing that was sent flying wasn't a dismembered arm or anything connected with the human body. No. What came flying was… a broken piece of French Bread.

"WHA–!?" Adam shouted but was immediately silenced when Yang's fist perfectly crashed towards his face, and what followed was a bullet sound that followed when Taurus was sent flying back at high speed before crashing against the wall, which caused the said wall to collapse on him, burying him on the ground.

Yang, whose arm was still outstretched, blinked several times, confused at what happened. For a splint moment, she saw Adam's sword just about to slice off her arm, but then all of a sudden… it was replaced with French Bread!

Shaking her head off from that bizarre moment, she quickly went to Blake's side, got her knee, and offered her hand. "Blake! Are you okay?"

"I-I'm okay…" Blake stuttered, still bewildered at the bizarre scene, but quickly shook it off, glad Yang was alive and well. She promptly took her partner's hand and stood shaking, but Yang quickly supported her.

"That's good…" Yang sighed in relief as she carefully let Blake go. Despite their current situation, she stood up independently but couldn't get that bizarre thing off her head. "Blake… I know we are surrounded by danger, but I gotta know… did that guy's sword turn into…?"

"A French Bread? Yes. Yes, it did." Blake slowly nodded, confirming that her partner wasn't crazy and nodded back in relief.

"Cool, cool. So, I wasn't the only one who saw it." Yang gave a nervous smirk while rubbing her right arm where the bread was aimed. If it was the actual sword…

Blake noticed her action, and she looked away in guilt but, at the same time, in relief that no harm had come to her partner. Before she could say something to her, the two heard the sound of rubble being moved, and they turned to see that it was Taurus. He slowly brushed off the rubble as he stood up in frustrating gasps while his Aura was flickering before shattering, no doubt from the Yang's punch and the from the wreckage and the right side of his mask was broken, showing his blue bloodshot eye.

Adam couldn't understand it at all. First his sheath and now his sword? He looked at his right hand as he held the French Bread where Wilt should be. How? How did he lose his sword and get bread instead!? He squeezes the bread in his grip and throws it away in his rage.

Blake and Yang could only watch nervously but resolved themselves as they held their weapons ready. Granted, Adam is unarmed, but that doesn't mean that they should drop their guards.

Adam noticed them and snarled at them. "I don't know what the hell is going on… But that doesn't change anything! I swear it, Blake! I will make you suffer! You and everyone around you! I will hunt down and kill everyone you love! I will make sure that you suffer a long, painful DEA–GUHA!?"

Out of the blue, he was tackled by another Creep due to his growing anger. Blake and Yang jumped at the unexpected attack, and the two just simply watched, eyes wide open in shock as the Grimm was trying to bite Adam's head off as he was trying to pry it off him with all his might.

Yang immediately snapped out of her shock and grabbed Blake's hand, snapping her out, too. "C'mon! Let's get out of here!"

Without waiting for an answer, she pulled Blake, who soon followed as they ran out of the destroyed dining hall, leaving behind the cries of a pained and angry Faunus and the growls of the Grimm.

Blake had so many questions on her head back in the dining hall… but one question stood out from the rest… What the heck was going on back there!?

"Yea-Ha! That was awesome!" Sissel cheered, happy at how everything had gone.

"I know! This was the most satisfying thing I have ever done!" Amethyst laughed, happy they saved the student's life and changed events for Blake and Yang, especially giving what Adam Taurus deserved.

It all started after saving the student's life. Blake and Adam first spoke to each other before they began to fight. Adam used his gun in an attempt to shoot Blake. However, because Amethyst still possesses the said weapon, he could tell that not only could he manipulate it to shoot independently, but the Ghost Detective discovered that he could also manipulate it not to shoot. And when he did, he just laughed, seeing the look on the terrorist's face when we wondered why his gun wasn't working and the surprised expression when the spirit made it shoot when it was close to his face.

The next thing that happened honestly surprised both him and Sissel when a Grimm just popped out of nowhere attacking Adam, and it only made Amethyst enjoy the show until it was killed. When he stood back up, he noticed that the gun was facing down on the Faunus's feet, and with a grin, he made the gun shoot not once but twice, and boy, was it hilarious seeing Taurus getting humiliated more times than once now.

But what he didn't expect next was when Adam threw his sheath away right inside the kitchen room in a fit of rage. Amethyst began to panic there, and he began to hear that Yang was near the area. Sissel immediately came to his side through possession after possession and told him that Adam didn't stab Blake like last time but hurt her enough to break her Aura, and it was enough for Yang to see to make her mad, and she charged straight to the terrorist much to the two ghosts' horror.

Without question, Amethyst quickly activated the Ghost World to stop just at the right moment before the two clashed, and without thinking, he jumped to one of the scattered bunches of French Bread lying on the ground. And that's where it happened…

Much to the two ghosts' surprise, the spectral line he left behind turned into a static-like line that connected between the sheath and the bread. Amethyst was shocked and confused but not as shocked as Sissel, who explained that he recognised this power that belonged to Missel. The Ghost Detective was shocked as he recalled that Missel had the power to transfer objects as long as they had the same shape, regardless of the size! And seeing that the two items were in a similar shape and position, he was connected to two, which was proof of that!

Amethyst wanted to think about why he had more than one Ghost Trick power, but Sissel just said they could think about it later because Yang's life was more important, and with this newfound power, he could do much more now to help Yang! The Detective agreed and quickly had an idea. Seeing one of the breads on the ground and Adam's sword seemed to look similar if he angled his position carefully. And with that, a plan came to mind. He smirked and quickly swapped to the bread, and thanks to his long rage, he had no problem reaching for the sword. As soon as he possessed it, the same reaction happened as last time, showing that the two items could be swapped. And without a second thought, he made the swap and boy, was it hilarious and satisfying for what came to Adam!

As soon as the swap happened, Amethyst quickly possessed Yang's gauntlets, and Sissel followed after possessing the other one. Admittingly, he was a bit startled that Taurus was back on his feet and was angry that he would make such death threats but was quickly swapped away when a Creep showed and to be honest, he didn't care for what happened to the terrorist and after that Yang and Blake ran out of the dining hall now aware of their passengers.

"But still… how is it possible that I have more than one power?" The Ghost Detective wondered, still puzzled that not only did he have the power to Time Travel and Manipulation but now Swapping Objects from what Sissel had told him. Not everyone had more than that many Ghost Tricks like that.

"Special, huh?" Amethyst muttered to himself. How is he 'special'? From what he gathered, his case was similar to Sissel's case when he told his story to him. But with very little information regarding his past and death, there was no concrete evidence to back up the claim of being 'special'.

Right now, wherever these two girls are running to, he knows for one thing that this night is far from over.
