Sitting in at her kitchen table across from Donna, Tara started to explain how Gemma had creeped towards her house while she was getting some more empty boxes out from the garage. Tara also mentioned to Donna that once she got inside and took a peak through the window Gemma sped away.
Donna just shook her head as she took a drink of her coffee." What you gonna do?" Donna had a feeling that that something like this was bound to happen sooner or later. She just didn't expected it to happen this soon.
Tara shrugged her shoulders." Move." She said half joking and half being serious as she picked up her coffee cup and took another drink before setting the cup back down on the table.
" Maybe you should talk to Jax." Donna suggested.
Tara cringe at the thought of talking to Jax again. She doesn't even want to see him nor does she want to talk to him." I don't think talking to him would be a good idea right now, no I'm just gonna keep avoiding him at all cause.
" What about Gemma? You can't exactly avoid her anymore." Donna pointed out.
Tara sighs as she rolled her eyes." Yeah, I know. But I can at least try though." Tara already knows staying away from Gemma won't be so easy now that she knows Tara Is back. But Tara could at least try to.
" You seriously don't think, she will tell Jax. Do you?" It's hard enough for Donna to keep Tara's secret from Opie. But the thought of Gemma telling Jax that Tara is back in Charming, is more worse
" God, I seriously hope not. The very last thing I need is for Jax Teller to be knocking at my door. But of course this is Gemma we are talking about here, and I wouldn't put it pass her." Deep down Tara knows that Jax deserves to know that she's back. But she's just not ready to face him, not now at least. not yet.
Donna just nods her head as she pushed the chair back and started to stand up as she grabbed her purse and car keys." Well whatever you decide to do. I will be here. I gotta get home and get dinner started. Bye Tara." Donna said as she gave her friend a quick hug and walked out of the house.
Tara blew out a breath as she ran both fingers through her hair. Without giving the situation or Jax another thought. Tara got up from her table as she grabbed the two empty coffee cups and set them down in the sink. Tara then grab two empty boxes and went to her parents room to start packing things up.
Wendy was sitting on the couch in the living room watching some crappy movie on tv and eating a huge bowl of ice cream. She had just got back from the clubhouse about two hours ago. Wendy told Jax that her appointment went well and that Abel is doing fine, of course Jax didn't want to believe her since he still thinks she's still getting high. She even tried asking him if he could go to her next appointment which was next month. But all Jax said that it depends on what the club is doing and left without saying another word.
Hearing the doorknob turn and the front door open. Wendy glanced over as she was hoping that it was Jax who came home, since he hasn't been home for about a month now. But sadly it was just Gemma.
" I was hoping you were Jax." Wendy said with disappointment.
" Sorry." Gemma said as she walked in and closed the door behind her." Jesus, don't you ever clean up?" Gemma asked as she started to look around the living room. She couldn't believe what a mess Jax's house is. It's no wonder why Jax is sleeping at the clubhouse.
" What do you want Gemma?" Wendy asked as she wasn't really in the mood.
Gemma sighs as she set her purse down." Well looks like your right, Tara is back in Charming." Gemma said confirming Wendy's story.
Wendy's eyes went wide in shock as she was a bit surprised. Wendy didn't want to be right, hell she was kinda hoping to be wrong.
" Did you talk to her?"
Gemma sighs as she sat down in the chair." Not yet, but don't worry though Tara isn't going anywhere near Jax. If Tara is smart she'll do the right thing. She'll stay away from Jax and our family."
Wendy looks down for a moment as she glanced over at Gemma." Why are you helping me? What do you get out of this?"
" The only thing I am getting out of this is seeing my son home and happy with his wife and son. That's what I'm getting out of it." Gemma answered honestly. Gemma knows Jax and Wendy are struggling right now. But they are about to have a son together very soon, and Abel needs both of his parents. Especially now.
Wendy just scoffed as she shook her head." Jax hasn't been home for almost a month. What makes you think he'll be coming home now?"
" He'll be home. If I have to drag his ass back here myself. Jax will be coming home soon. Your about to give birth to my first grandson, his first born. There's no way Jax will miss that."
" I hope your right." Wendy respond softly. As much as Wendy wants Jax home with her and too work on fixing their marriage not just for them, but for Abel who deserves to have both of his parents. Wendy wouldn't hold her breath.
" Hey.' Gemma said breaking Wendy's thoughts." Don't worry so much, all this stress isn't good enough for you or Abel. I will talk to Jax and see where his head is at." Gemma said as she got up from the chair and reaches for her purse.Gemma then leans down as she gave Wendy a quick peck on the lips." I gotta get back to TM. I will check on you later. Bye baby.' Gemma said motherly as she walked out of the house.
Wendy set the ice cream carton down on the coffee table as she laid back against the couch. Wendy just hopes that Gemma can get Jax to come home soon, because if she can't. Wendy isn't sure what she'll do.
Donna was in the middle of preparing dinner for Opie and their kids. For tonight's dinner Donna decided to do something simple since she didn't have a chance to go to the store yet, and she wasn't sure if Opie had to go back to the clubhouse tonight. So she decided to make spaghetti with meat balls, along with salad and Garlic bread.
While Donna was preparing the salad, she started to think about Tara and the situation. Donna knows Tara isn't ready to talk to Jax yet and honestly, Donna doesn't really blame Tara. Especially after the way they ended things before Tara left. But at the same time Tara really can't hide from Jax forever. Donna promised to keep her secret but she can't keep lying to Opie.Speaking of the devil. Donna thought as she heard the front door open and heard Opie walking through the front door with their kids.
" Ellie and Kenny, dinner is about done. Go wash your hands." Donna called out over her shoulder. She then went back to finishing preparing the salad.
" Hey." Opie said softly as he walked up behind Donna and leans down as he gently kissed her cheek, before walking towards the fridge to grab a beer.
" Hey." Donna responded as she looked back at him." How did it go with the club today?'
" Do you really wanna know?" Opie asked as he raised his brow. Opie doesn't always tell Donna everything about the club or their business. As matter of fact Opie keeps her in the dark. He believes if she doesn't know, then he can protect her from it all.
" Not really." Donna dead panned as she walked over to the stove. Grabbing the pot with two pot holders as she walked towards the sink to drain out the noodles. Donna still isn't too happy with Opie going back to the club, but it is what it is and there's nothing Donna could do about it now. The less she knows about the club, the less she can careless. The only thing Donna Winston cares about is her family.
Opie nods his head as he took a drink of his beer." I'm gonna go take a shower before dinner." He said as he set his beer down on the kitchen counter and walked out of the kitchen. Opie is trying to get close to Donna again. But ever since he went back to the club after quitting his job, it hasn't been that easy.
Donna closed her eyes for a moment as she deeply sighs. Hearing the kids coming into the kitchen, she looked over her shoulder." Ellie can you get the salad it's on the kitchen counter and Kenny, can you please get plates and forks." Donna said as she mixed the sauce into the spaghetti noodles. Lastly she added the meat balls. Setting the pot in the middle of the kitchen table, Donna walked back to stove and pulled out the garlic bread out of the oven.
" Hey mom, a friend from school is having a sleepover at her house this weekend, and I was wondering if I can go. So, can I? " Ellie asked as she made herself a plate before sitting down.
" who's the friend that's having this sleepover? " Donna asked as soon as both Opie and Kenny joined them at the table for dinner.
" Amber Richards. She's in my fourth period math class." Ellie answered as she took a bite of her spaghetti.
Donna then glanced over at Opie for a moment who just shrugged his shoulders. Donna then turned back to Ellie.
" You can go, but have your friend bring both of her parents so your father and I can meet them." Donna said as she gave her daughter permission to go to a sleepover this weekend.
Ellie shierk with excitement as she threw both arms around Donna's neck." Thanks so much mom and dad." She said as she was about to run out of the kitchen when Opie stopped her.
" Hey, where do you think your going?"
" I gotta call Amber and let her know that I can come this weekend." Ellie answered.
Donna just shook her head." You can call Amber after dinner." Donna said firmly.
Ellie nods her head as she sat back down next to Kenny and finish eating her dinner.
