After getting out of the shower and walking out of the bathroom, Tara found Jax leaning back against his headboard. They had just returned from her apartment where they discovered photographs of them all over her place. It was completely freaking her out.
"Feeling a little better?" Jax asked with concern.
Tara climbed into bed next to Jax, leaning back against the headboard. "A little. Did you say anything to the guys?"
Jax shook his head." No, because I'm still waiting for you to tell me what's going on.Why are there pictures of you, and of you and me all spread out in your apartment?"
Tara sighs deeply as closed her eyes for a moment as she was trying to figure out how she was going to explain her past and her ex to Jax.
Jax reached for her hand and gently pressed his lips against the back of Tara's hand. "You know, you can tell me anything, babe. Just talk to me."
Tara nods her head as she looks over at him. "You know that ATF agent from Chicago? The one that's been looking into you guys? Well, I think he's here for me."
"Tara, what on earth are you talking about?"
"I was with him in Chicago for a while."
" What does that mean?"
We started dating shortly after I moved to Chicago and after I started working at the Chicago hospital. It became violent, and of course, I tried to end it, but he began stalking me.
"He's the main reason why you're back home," Jax said, knowing the obvious.
Tara blew out a breath as she nodded her head. "Yeah, the night before I came home, I filed a restraining order against him and left the next morning." Tara then got up from Jax's bed and wrapped her arms around herself, starting to walk back and forth across his floor.
" Tara, what's wrong?"
Your mom found a handgun in my purse earlier tonight at dinner.
" What?"
The reason why I filed a restraining order against him wasn't just because he was stalking me; that was only part of the reason. Just a few hours before I was even at the Chicago Police Station, Josh had me in a choke hold to the point where...where I couldn't breathe. Tara said as she slowly placed her hand against her throat.
"Jesus Christ," Jax sighs heavily as he gets up and walks over to Tara, wrapping his arms around her waist as he pulls her closer to him and holds her closer to him as he kisses the top of her head. Lifting her face up, he rests both hands against her neck. "I will handle that ATF babe, you don't have to worry about him. I promise he won't go anywhere near you."
" I don't want anyone else know about this. Especially Gemma, I don't need her to get into my business. It's bad enough that she knows about the gun. She doesn't need to know about this. So please Jax, promise me that nobody will know about this."Tara pleads with Jax as she really wants to keep this between them. Well Donna knows but she doesn't know the full story.
" Hey, I promise this will only stay between us." Jax said as he leans down and kisses Tara deeply and passionately as he groans softly against her lips." Come on babe, let's get some sleep." He said as he grabbed Tara's hand and pulls her into bed with him.
It had been a very busy morning for Tara at St. Thomas. After her morning rounds and after checking on Abel, it was already lunchtime and Tara was starving. Walking out of her office, Tara sent Donna a text asking if she wanted to meet up for lunch at the little cafe that was right across the street from the hospital. Plus, she needed to talk to Donna about last night.
As Tara headed towards the elevators, she looked to her side and saw Margaret Murphy walking towards her. "I'm going out for lunch at the cafe. Did you want me to bring you back something?" Tara offered as she placed her cell phone back into her purse after reading the recent text from Donna and hitting the bottom button, waiting for the elevator doors to open.
No thanks; I was going to grab something from the cafeteria. Just remember that you have your heart surgery scheduled for when you return from lunch.
Tara nods her head as the doors open." Thanks for letting me know." She said as she stepped into the elevator and pressed the number one button." I will see you after work." She also said as the doors closed.
As Tara walked into the cafe, she spotted Donna sitting at one of the tables. "Hey, thanks for meeting up with me for lunch," she said as she removed her jacket and placed it on the chair next to her before sitting down across from Donna.
It's no problem. I haven't gone grocery shopping yet, so this was perfect timing. You said that you wanted to talk about last night." Donna said as she took a sip of her iced tea while watching Tara look through the lunch menu.
Tara set the lunch menu down and nodded her head." Yeah."
" So what happened after you and Jax left?"
Tara took a deep breath. "Someone broke into my apartment last night."
What?!" exclaimed Donna. "Oh my God, Tara." She could not believe that someone would actually break into her apartment. "Do you know who broke in?"
Tara snorted as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "It was Josh," she said. "He somehow broke into my apartment last night and get this, he had photographs of me and some of me with Jax all over my apartment floor."
"Jesus Christ! That's beyond stalking. That's very creepy."
" So, I ended up staying with Jax at the clubhouse last night and I told him everything about Josh." Tara said with a sigh as she ran her fingers through her hair.
" Well, that's good that you told him about your ex. Because that means Jax can do everything he can to protect you right?" Donna asked as she felt relieved that Tara told Jax what was going on.
Yeah, I mean I know that Jax will do anything to protect me. But Josh Kohn isn't like any of the men I've met before. He's a Fed which means if something does happen to him, it could trace back to me and bite me in the ass. Of course Tara wants Josh dead, she just can't help feeling that it could all go horribly wrong.
"Tara, you worry too much. Besides, maybe Jax doesn't have to actually kill your ex. Maybe you can call his boss back in Chicago and get him fired and sent back to Chicago." Donna suggested as she shrugged her shoulders.
" That won't stop him from trying to come after me." Tara said truthfully. If the restraining order couldn't stop Josh Kohn from following her to Charming. Getting him fired just might make things worse for her. There's only one way to get Josh Kohn to leave and she's the one who's gonna have to do it. She just hope she can do it.
AN: So Tara finally told Jax about her ex. More drama to come and these two will finally get lot closer again. Leave some reviews.
