It's been over a month almost two months now since Kohn was killed and that nightmare from.Tara's life was finally over and she was finally able.to move on from it especially with Jax's help of course. Her and Jax have been getting lot closer ever since that night. They both decided to give their relationship another chance, give them another chance. Even her and Gemma are actually getting a long better these days. Which Tara never really expected to happen like ever because of what happened in the past. But Gemma finally came around and gave Tara another chance as long as Tara promised that she will never leave Jax again and Tara attends to keep that promise.
It's almost been two months since Abel came home from the hospital, and Tara has been staying at Jax's to help take care of Abel. She hasn't quite fully moved in, but her stuff are in the house. Though, Tara still has another month in her apartment before she can officially move out. Ever since Jax killed Kohn and Tara watched Kohn bleed out to death on her bedroom floor, she knew she couldn't live in that apartment anymore.
Standing over Abel's crib, Tara watched him sleep, just like she had done many times in the hospital. She couldn't help but smile as she could hear him breathing. Tara knew Abel wasn't biologically hers, but ever since she saved him from dying, she had been with him and they'd built a special bond. She loved him like he was her own son.
"How long are you going to watch him sleep?" Jax asked a moment later as he walked into the room and walked up to Tara, wrapping his arms around her waist and nuzzling his face against her neck. "Come back to bed, babe."
Tara smiles as she felt Jax's arms around her waist and his face against her neck. She giggled softly as she could feel his beard brushing against her skin." Every time I was at the hospital on my lunch break. I would sneak into the room and watch him sleep." Tara said softly.
Jax kissed her shoulder gently before he rest his chin against it as he also watched his sleeping son." Ever since he was born, I kept thinking how am I going to keep him and you safe. Every day I walk out that door Tara, all I can do is think about how I'm going to protect my family. Don't go anywhere." He whispers as he kissed her deeply and passionately as he placed his hand against her face.
Tara turns in his arms as she continues to kiss him more deeply and passionately. She massages her fingers against his beard as she slowly pulls away. "Jax, I'm not going anywhere this time. I love you, Jackson. You and Abel are my family now, and I will never walk away."
Hearing those words, Jax placed both hands against her face as he leaned down and kissed her deeply and passionately, with so much love and devotion. With Tara by his side, Jax knew everything would be fine. He closed his eyes as he rested his forehead against hers. "I love you so much, Tara."
Tara smiled softly as she placed her hand against his face. "I know you do, baby. Let's go to bed." She said as she took Jax's hand and started to walk out of Abel's nursery, dragging him along.
Walking out of the elevator, Tara headed towards her office when she noticed someone talking to her boss, Margaret Murphy. Walking up to them, Tara cleared her throat to get their attention. "Is everything okay?" Tara asked, wondering what was going on.
" Oh, Tara. This ATF Stahel and she wanted to ask you some questions." Margaret answered as she looks at Tara for a moment.
"What exactly are you asking?" Tara asked suspiciously.
"Do you mind if we can talk in your office?" Stahel asked, not wanting to have this conversation in front of Tara's boss.
" Um, sure." Tara said as she looks over at Murphy." Thanks Murphy." Tara said as she walked away and led Stahel into her office.
"So, want to tell me what exactly you're doing here?" Tara asked as she closed her office door and went over to her desk, sitting down.
" I'm just trying to wrap my brain around your history with Samcro." Stahel answered bluntly as she sat down across from Tara.
" Excuse me?"
" Well, your mom died when you were nine. You left Charming and your drunk daddy eleven years ago. Moved in with an Aunt in San Diego."
" It was my Father's cousin actually." Tara corrected her as she still tried to figure what's going on.
" Right." Stahel said as she nods her head a little." You graduated at UCSD With honors and you were top of your class at Loyola Med, and you did your internship at Chicago Presbyterian. Really impressive." She said with a smirk.
" Yeah, I know. I was there." Tara said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
" And now you're here... at St. Rednecks... getting dirty with the bad boys again. How does that happen?"
Tara scoffs a little shaking her head." My personal life is really none of your business. What do you want?" Tara asked as she was getting tired of this conversation already.
" Fair enough. Do you know of any illegal activity that Jax Teller or the Sons Of Anarchy are involved in?"
Tara shook her head." No, I don't."
" Well, that was easy." Stahel said as she stood up and pulled out a business card and sets it down on Tara's desk." Listen if you do... think of something or see something that just doesn't feel right, would you please give me a call? Thanks for your time."
Tara scoffs once more." Now, what exactly is it you're hoping to find? I'm just wondering what digging up dirt on old girlfriends, gets you."
" Is that what Kohn liked?" Stahel asked with a smug smirk as she noticed the way Tara tensed up." Your inquisitive nature?"
" I don't know what your talking about." Tara said calmly.
Stahel shrugs her shoulders a little. " I understand that he never got off the plane in Chicago. He's been MIA. Threw away his career for love. I just hope you're not doing the same. Have a good day...Doctor. " Stahel said as she walked out of Tara's office closing the door behind her.
Tara realised a breath she was holding as she quickly pulled her cell out of her purse and quickly sent Jax a text telling him that she needs him to her office so she can talk to him. This ATF bitch is trying to get information about Jax and the club and she's not liking it. Tara can't help but have a bad feeling something is wrong.
Hearing a knock on her office door thirty minutes later, Tara quickly opened the door and pulled Jax inside. Closing the door behind her, she said in one breath, "We have a problem." As she walked towards her desk, she picked up Stahel's business card.
" Why? What happened?" Jax asked with concern.
Tara sighs deeply as she shows him the card." I had a visit earlier from an Agent Stahel."
" Shit." Jax said as he sighs deeply." What did she want?"
"How the hell am I supposed to know?! She wanted information about you and the club. She wanted to know if I knew anything about the club's illegal activities. Which we both know that I don't. But that's not the real problem here, Jax."
" What are you talking about?"
Tara sighed heavily as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Jax, she knows all about me. About us."
Jax shrugs his shoulders a little." So what? It's all smoke. I really wouldn't worry about it, baby. Look, they've got nothing on Samcro, so now they're harassing people close to us. I'm sorry." He said softly as he walked up to her.
Tara sighed as she crossed her arms over her chest. "She mentioned Kohn. Said he was MIA."
Jax shrugged his shoulders again. "Kohn was a wanted man. He didn't show up in Chicago because he didn't want to go to jail. He's probably halfway around the world by now." Jax said with a slight smirk.
Tara shook her head and said, "Yeah, half way."
Placing both hands against her face as he lifted her face a little so he could look into her eyes." Hey, This won't blow back on you babe. That's a promise." I'm not going to let anything happen to you." He said softly as he leaned down and kissed her deeply and passionately as he gently pulled on her bottom lip before pulling away. " Okay?" He asked softly.
Tara nodded. "Okay." She said as she wrapped her arms around his waist and leaned against his chest, closing her eyes and breathing in deeply as she felt Jax's lips on her forehead. Tara knew Jax would do anything to keep her safe and that he would protect her. Tara just hoped the Kohn situation wouldn't come back to haunt her.
