It's been only a few days since Tara had a conversation with Agent Stahel in her office. Tara really doesn't know what the ATF really wants and personally, Tara really doesn't want to know. All Tara wants to do is take care of Abel and be with Jax. Whatever Agent Stahel wants really has nothing to do with her..
Not only that but Tara also wants to put the whole Kohn situation behind her and just move on from that nightmare. She just wants everything to go back to normal. Whatever that means. Tara was out of her thoughts when she heard Abel waking up through the baby monitor. Walking into the kitchen, pulling out a bottle of milk from the fridge.
Ten minutes after Tara warmed up Abel's bottle and made sure it wasn't too hot for him. Walking out of the kitchen and heading down the hall towards Abel's nursery. Opening the door, Tara walked further into the nursery and towards the crib.
" Hey there." Tara said as she reached down in the crib and picked up Abel." Are you hungry?" She asked him as she showed him his baby bottle. She chuckled softly as she sat down in the rocking chair and started to feed him.
After Abel was done with the milk and Tara got him to burp for her, once she changed his diaper and got him into a clean Onsie, she heard a knock coming from the door. "I wonder who that could be. Come on let's go see."
Opening the door, Tara gasps in surprise and little confusion. "Wendy, what are you doing here?"
" I can ask you the same question. I just got out of Rehab." Wendy said as she then noticed Abel in Tara's arms." Oh my God, he's gotten so big." She said as she threw her hands against her mouth. The last time Wendy saw Abel was at the hospital just two days after he was born when Jax took her to see their son before she went to rehab.
" Yeah, he has." Tara said in agreement.
" Can I hold him?" Wendy asked as she stepped closer and couldn't keep her eyes off of Abel.
Tara hesitated for a moment as she looked down at Abel and then back at Wendy." I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Jax isn't home Wendy and I wouldn't feel comfortable letting you holding Abel without Jax or Gemma here."
Wendy scoffs as she shook her head. "Seriously? I can't hold my own son? But you can?" Wendy asked, unable to believe what was happening.
" I don't know what to tell you Wendy, except that I'm truly sorry."
" You're sorry?" Wendy asked with a scoff as she shook her head." What are you even doing here? I mean besides holding my son. Are you like sleeping with my husband?" She asked suspiciously.
"I'm really not comfortable having this conversation with you."
Wendy scoffs again as she crosses her arms over her chest. "I really don't care what you're comfortable with. Jax is still my husband and Abel is our son."
" Ex-husband." Tara said correcting her.
"Two more months until that's official, okay? You know Gemma is never going to let you be with him. She's gonna do whatever she can to keep you two apart. If I were you, I would just end it now before you end up dead." Wendy said as she looked at Abel for a moment before she walked away and got back into her car.
Watching Wendy drive away, Tara sighed deeply as she let Wendy's words sink in. Even though she and Gemma have been getting along lately, in the back of her mind, Tara wondered if Gemma was trying to find a way to break her and Jax up. She still wondered if Gemma being all nice was just an act.
Hearing Abel babble, Tara looks down and chuckles softly. "Come on, let's get you inside." She says as she walks back into the house and closes the door behind her.
Donna was in the middle of doing some house cleaning when the kids were next door with her neighbor Nina. Hearing a knock coming from her front door, Donna reached for her hand gun as she started to walk towards the door. With the hand gun down her side, Donna peeked through the peep hole and noticed two feds standing outside her door.
Opening the door slightly," Can I help you?"
" Are you Donna Wintson?"
"Yeah, what's going on?" Donna asked as she didn't understand why two Feds were at her door in broad daylight.
" Agent Stahel, ATF." Stahel answered as she showed Donna her badage." Mind if I come in and ask you few questions?"
" Yeah, come on in." Donna said as she opened the door further and let the Feds in." Want some coffee?" She asked as she walked into the kitchen and set her gun down on the counter before she grabs two coffee cups from the cupboard.
" Sure, thanks." Stahel answered as she followed Donna into the kitchen and sat down at the kitchen table.
Setting a cup of hot coffee in front of Agent Stahel before walking to the other side of the table."So are you going to tell me exactly what's going on?" Donna asked as she sat down across from her.
After Stahel took the first sip, she set the cup down as she cleared her throat. "Do you know what kind of illegal activities Opie or Samcro are into?"
" No." Donna answered as she shook her head.
" Hmmm, I know you've been having financel problems lately. I could help you with that." Stahel offered.
" Thanks, appreciate it, but we're fine." Donna said declining her offer.
"Or you can take your kids and leave. Because we both know that it's only a matter of time before SAMCRO tears your family apart and Opie ends up back in prison. I mean, do you really want to put your family through that?"
"I don't need you or anyone else to tell me what's wrong with my family, and even if I did know about Opie's club business, I would never rat him out. Get out of my house, bitch." Donna spits out as she quickly stands up from her kitchen table.
Standing up, Stahel placed her business card against the kitchen table. "Just think about what I said." She said as she headed out the front door with her partner following behind.
Donna kept staring at the business card as she heard her front door close. Donna closed her eyes as she exhaled deeply as she ran her hands down her face. "Jesus Christ." Donna said to herself as she shook her head slightly.
Walking into Jax's house Gemma noticed Tara was in the kitchen." Hey." She said as she closed the door behind her before walking into the kitchen.
"Oh hey, Gem." Tara said as she looked over her shoulder for a moment before she reached two coffee cups from the cupboard.
"Where's Abel?" Gemma asked as she walked over to the kitchen table and sat down, setting her purse on the table.
"I just put him down for his nap. I thought you would be at the office all day." Tara said as she set a cup of hot coffee in front of Gemma before she sat down across from her.
"It was a slow day." Gemma replied as she took a drink of her coffee.
" Wendy showed up this morning. I guess she's out of rehab."
" Are you serious? What did that Junkie want?"
Tara scoffs, shaking her head as she sets her cup down. "Well, she wanted to hold Abel. But I told her I don't think that was a good idea since Jax wasn't home."
Gemma nods her head. "Good. After what that junkie bitch did to my grandson, she doesn't deserve to be in his life, let alone hold him." Gemma is still pissed off that Wendy overdosed and almost killed her grandson. When Jax had mentioned that he was going to file for full custody, Gemma was thrilled about it.
" She also said that you're never going to let me be with Jax and that you're going to do whatever you can to break us up. She even said that I should just end things with Jax or I'll end up dead."
" Jesus Christ. Why would she say something like that?"
" I got no idea."
" But do you actually believe her?"
Tara scoffs as she shook her head. "That's the thing, I don't know. I mean, are you still trying to find a way to keep me and Jax apart? Is that why you're being so nice?" Tara asked, still wondering if whatever Wendy said earlier was actually true or not.
Setting the coffee cup down, Gemma exhales deeply. "Honestly... in the beginning, I wanted to keep you two apart. I still didn't trust you, especially the way you left and how it was hurting Jax."
"I was just going off to college and I needed to get out of Charming at the time." Tara said defending herself.
" I know and I totally get it. But Jax was hurting and it broke my heart seeing my son hurting. So because of it, I hated you for a while. When I found out you came back, I still hated you. And I'm not gonna lie to you, but I wanted to kill you for hurting Jax."
"You never told me how you found out I was back. The only person who knew about me being back was Donna." Tara still doesn't know how Gemma knew that she was back in Charming, but she had a pretty good guess on who told Gemma.
" Wendy saw you leaving St. Thomas."
Tara snorted a little as she shook her head." Of course she did. What about now? Do you still hate me?" Tara asked as she couldn't help but wonder if Gemma still hated her or not. Which honestly Tara wouldn't care if Gemma still hated her, it wasn't gonna change anything. Tara was never gonna leave Jax or Abel.
" If I still hated you, you wouldn't be here taking care of my grandson because I wouldn't have allowed it. But no, I don't hate you, Tara. You saved Abel from literally dying. Plus, I realized that no matter how much I wanted to keep you away from Jax, it was never going to change how Jax feels about you. So I've learned to accept the fact that you and Jax are going to be together, no matter what I tried to do." Gemma said honestly.
Tara nods her head a little. "Thanks." She said as she took another drink of her coffee.
" Anytime sweetheart." Gemma said with a chuckle.
" So what are we gonna do about Wendy?"
Gemma shook her head." Don't worry about that Junkie whore. She's never gonna be around Abel if I can help it."
Tara exhaled deeply. "Why do I get the feeling I'm not gonna like where this is going?" Tara doesn't want Wendy dead. She just wants Wendy away from Abel and Jax.
"Don't worry, nothing is going to happen. I'm just going to talk to her and remind her that she has no place in Abel's or Jax's life anymore." Gemma shrugged her shoulders slightly.
Tara sighed deeply as she shook her head. "I don't think that would be a good idea, Gemma."
"Why not?" Gemma asked, confused why Tara was against her talking to Wendy all of a sudden.
"Because, I think Jax and I should handle Wendy on our own." Tara said, being serious. She knew Gemma was trying to help, but she felt if Gemma went and talked to Wendy, it would end up bad for all of them.
Gemma sighs in defeat as she nods her head a little." Fine, I won't talk to her. I will let you and Jax handle it."
" Thank you." Tara said as she was happy that Gemma was gonna let them handle the Wendy situation. Tara just hopes that Gemma actually means it.
AN: You guys know what to do =)
