Thunder Hero: Baraquiel 17

The pins, as Seamus mentioned, were eight pins: six in his legs and two in his spine; they were the only things effectively keeping him upright and functioning as a hero. The pins were the result of the Irish Hero, using his body to protect some lost First and Second years in the opening two weeks of the siege; he'd managed to survive the surgeries and got back into the field of battle.

When things had gotten extremely bad to the point where Hermione was brewing Rush by the bucket load; Seamus had joined Harry in tracking himself up on the self-destructive addictive substance. Dean saw the slightly glassy look and tightening of Seamus's jaw "the fact he had to explain the pins, the story and the memories behind them. I'm sorry Seamus, but I'm glad to say I've got but a portion of your experiences. Harry, I wonder how you're holding." The dark-skinned londoner thought, before turning to Nevill "Big guy, did Athena give you our friends...contact details and if he was actually going to pick us up?"

"She did with the details, not necessarily with the pick up...She did leave a number."

With that Neville dialled the number "Potter Harry's phone, Fuyumi speaking who is this?"

Neville's eyes widened "Er...er...Hi, my name is Longbottom Neville…" To his surprise Fuyumi's breathing hitched.

"Bunker Buster Hero: Broadside?"

"Roadblock Hero: Broadside, technically. Of course Harry would use my finisher as my hero title."

Neville heard Fuyumi bite back a giggle "I, apologise for the interruption. We were sent on the instructions by another hero Athena. Ma'am trust me, Harry and Athena are brother and sister. I consider them two of my closest friends."

On the other side of the phone, Fuyumi sighed in relief. Unfortunately, Harry had left with Class 1-A for the USJ. What had unnerved her was the fact he was equipping a few disks to his back and some weird bracers to his arms. This was on top of his 'thunder-staff', a staff that could shift into various other-ones and hit like a cattle-prod. "I'll pick you up...I know the airport."

Neville had seen Dean and Seamus manage to call a cab "Don't worry. We'll make our way to you; we have information that Harry needs to see."

"I...understand. Currently, Harry's out at the moment; I'm in his confidence…"

Neville nodded "If you're in his confidence then we'll share it with you."

The Cab Driver only needed to be told 'UA' before the three heroes were on their way. It took nearly four hours due to near enough gridlocked traffic; but they eventually made it to the Hero-Barrier. Which immediately shut the moment Dean, Seamus and Neville got their luggage out of the taxi.

After finding the intercom "This is Hound Dog, who's this?"

"Broadside, Malkav and Banshee; we need to speak with Baraquiel or Fuyumi?"

"Concerning?"

"We need Baraquiel's advice concerning Tomorrow."

The gate lifted, but it had only reached a third of the way up as the newcomers ducked under the barrier.

(Baraquiel)

"Where's All Might?" Aizawa asked.

"He's been an idiot. He's been an idiot." Baraquiel thought as he'd seen the news; he'd seen the hideous garb All Might had decided to wear. Then he saw the villains simultaneously attacking. The villain attacks weren't that odd, but each one had been set in a perfect linear fashion, the line of All Might's path to work. "His morning commute seemed to be perfectly linear in regards to the latest string of villain attacks."

Class 1-A turned on their additional member of staff "How do you know such things? Furthermore how can you so indelicately say such things." Iida demanded.

"I've studied, been where All Might is and quite frankly I'm already tired of Japan's delicate sensitivities to people upsetting the status quo. The people you lambast as villains; really they're just fools doing a little bit of stand-up and protest."

"What about your debut...you can't say…"

"I never said they were; now the fact they managed to kill a hero; that meant the gloves-came off. Rule One: Heroes don't bow to governments; you're trained to adapt to a situation. A decent hero sets a precedent and everyone jumps to them and if its the other way around…" Harry trailed off.

Izuku and Shoto knew what their sensei and brother-in-law was alluding to. Jiro and Yaoyorozu were able to make an educated guess due to spending an evening with their teacher "You believe that heroes being authorised by their governments is being seen as controlling. But sensei, what's to stop heroes from adopting a mindset of 'we know best'?" Jiro asked, normally she was the quiet student but there was something about Baraquiel that made her want to interact with him.

"You don't. Governments and Heroes need to find a balance and so far as much as I disagree with them; the Japanese Government has the best balance between civil, public services and heroics but I disagree."

"Not born here, only just moved here and thus able to look at things critically." Denki surprisingly chirped in.

"Baraquiel, as wonderful and inspiring as your impromptu socio-economic and heroic ethical lecture and discussion is; they're here to learn about rescue maneuvers." Aizawa stated clapping his hands and attracting the class's attention back to himself and Thirteen.

As Thirteen began to give the lecture about the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, USJ; total coincidence in sharing the initials of Universal Studios Japan. However the benign and jovial lecture quickly soured when purple-smoke appeared and began to form a portal. "I've got a bad feeling about this." Harry murmured as he loaded up his nail launchers, a barbaric device but if push came to shove...well...these trespassers would pay for threatening his students.

"Really? That's what you've got to say?" Demanded Mineta who was shaking in his boots.

"It fits. Before we do anything, I'll take point, they could just be very, very lost Parcel Delivery people."

Aizawa shot Harry a deadpan look "What? You say I'm too pessimistic, when I try to be optimistic you're giving me the dry-eye thousand yard stare." Harry sighed and headed halfway down the stairs.

"Where's All Might?" The leader demanded.

"Indisposed; never knew he was intolerant to Almond milk. Now this is a shot in the dark but are you fine people part of Parcel Delivery? Because you've got the wrong location?" The idle flippant comments did get chuckles from a few of the more animalistic members.

"You'd think JPD would hire people like us?" Asked another shark-quirked member.

"Kisame, I'd think, you'd do extremely well for aquatic deliveries."

"How'd you know my name?"

"Naruto fan...it was either that or Samehada." Another shark-quirked man stuck his hand up. Harry sweat dropped.

"Okay, no-one here is JPD...Anyone here part of any sort of essential service that UA might require? Because unfortunately you're all currently accused of breaking and entering, rather entering unlawfully and trespass. Any chance, I can ask you to leave?"

"Er what happens if we say no?" This was a figure with gun-like fingers.

"I'll arrest you as I happen to be a hero. If I can't arrest you due to you resisting; I deem you hostile and I'm…rather good at dealing with hostiles. I'm Baraquiel, you may have heard of me?"

That caused some of the trespassers to falter "Since...All Might isn't here. Perhaps killing a few students and this insolent Hero will attract him. Nomu! Get him!"

"No...mu?" Harry turned, and he paled standing next to the Hand-man was definitely something from Project Troll. Lightning surged and Harry launched himself backwards.

"Eraserhead, Thirteen...the situation is officially hostile. They have a bioengineered weapon of destruction. Designation Nomu, I know it as Project Troll; Hand-man is the leader, they're here to kill All Might or us. Recommendation to evacuate the students and resort to brutal methods."

Katsuki snarled "WHY! You're telling us to run away! We're meant to be HEROES! HEROES STAND AND FIGHT!"

"Need I remind you Bakugo, you're all students. None of you are even the slightest bit prepared; the actions I'm taking are certainly not the most heroic. I'd rather you not see what I'm about to do."

"I'm sorry Baraquiel, I'm afraid I can't do that." Announced the Mist-quirk wielder as he materialised behind the students.

"Son of a bitch, didn't just quote 2001: Space Odyssey."

"I'm afraid Baraquiel, I just did."

Baraquiel gulped "All right then...Mist, you're under arrest for trespass, breaking and entering, conspiracy to harm, conspiracy to inflict bodily harm, actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm and mass homicide and mass manslaughter."

The mist chuckled "My name is Kurogiri; my master is Shigaraki Tomura." With that Kurogiri expanded, Baraquiel moved to intercept and just managed to push Shoji and Tenya out of the way.

"Quirks are ago. Shoji do whatever you can to give Tenya a way out. Tenya, you run for backup. The rest of us…welcome to Life-or-Death heroics; your lives are on the line." With that Baraquiel reached for the disks on his back.

Aizawa had launched himself down the stairs; clearing the lot in a single leap. Although, to a passerby it seemed as if he could glide. He landed with pinpoint accuracy and maximum impact on one of the thugs. His quirk activated and like a cat amongst pigeons and the quickly named 'ranged unit' had fallen.

Aizawa faintly heard the orders of 'Nomu! Get him!' when a much louder voice thundered "Certain Scientific Railgun: BARRAGE!" Aizawa's eyes widened as he heard the distinctive sound of a saw-blade soar through the air and sliced through Nomu! Two blades hacked its arms off as another pair slammed into the recently removed joints. The last took the Nomu's head clean off!

"Troll, eliminated. Now for the trash! Static Express!" A red leather ball pitched just past Aizawa before bouncing and discharging incapacitating two villains. This was followed by three more each one nailing and incapacitating a villain...leather, cork and string at high speeds hurts! To the exclamation of "STATIC EXPRESS: FIFER!"

Baraquiel descended the stairs, Aizawa quickly joined him "Fifer? Static Express?"

"Static Express is me imbuing and throwing an object; normally a cricket ball. If it hits it's called a Wicket. If it hits two, double wickets. Fifer is a Five-Wicket Haul; typically done in a single innings. I just got lucky, Hand-mands unit cohesion sucks, for his mission. But for us, fish in a barrel."

Aizawa nodded "Er, Baraquiel...did your Troll problem do that." Nomu had regenerated it's arms and head around the saw blades "Also...why Saw blades?"

Baraquiel began to shake "They were the only way to get rid of them...I knew I forgot something. Trolls, Nomu…you needed to hit them REALLY, REALLY hard."

Shigaraki began to cackle with glee "My Nomu is designed to kill All Might. It's strength and speed are comparable to All Might, complete with Shock Absorption and Super Regeneration...I wonder Baraquiel, Eraserhead; maybe I'll execute your cute little students before killing yourselves or maybe kill one of you first."

Fuyumi, Hiroto, Nozomi, Shoto, Toya, Natsuo, Izuku…Class-1-A. The names and the faces of the living and the deceased rushed through Baraquiel's mind. Everything he had, everything he wanted to keep...the only obstacle was this villain; one that Harry Potter, Lightning Hero: Baraquiel, was going to ensure either died here and now wish he had. "Eraserhead, take the man-child...I've a monster to kill. Attention all villains; surrender now."

There was a thug with blade like ridges on his arms stalking towards him "Or what?"

Baraquiel's smile faded and a nail floated out of a pouch on his hip, it balanced two millimetres from his fourth finger as he made a gun. "Scientific Railgun!" There was a crackle of electricity, accompanied by a boom and the man disintegrated.

Even Shigaraki stopped as he watched a minion turn into a faint outline of blood "You...You...You killed him!"

"Aye, what Shigaraki? You thought you'd toss that word about and attempt to kill a Hero that we'd retaliate with kids gloves? No. Once I've turned your Nomu to ash, I'm putting you in the ground."

With that lightning erupted into existence around the TA. "Absorption means there's a limit…You didn't bank on someone other than All Might being able to take your pet. LIMELIGHT STRAIGHT!" Baraquiel vanished, indeed that seemed to be the most common verb to describe his speed. However, this particular materialisation was heralded with emerald lightning; Mezo Shoji who'd just finished with a villain with hammer-hands watched, his dupli-arms in the form mouths watched as Baraquiel cut the villain in half.

At the landslide zone Shoto saw the crackle of emerald lightning and gulped. Baraquiel…be careful. No, I'm on my way. The villains around him were frozen but alive, Shoto was grateful his in-law wasn't here otherwise he'd have made a Frozen quip.

Across from him in the Mountain Zone, there was a brilliant flash of yellow. Shoto decided he'd rush to the Mountain Zone; hoping he'd find his classmates alive and well.

"NOMU! KILL HIM!" Shrieked Shigaraki. Aizawa used this time to cancel the Villains quirk to gain distance; he couldn't make out Baraquiel anywhere near the Nomu. The only evidence Aizawa had was the thickening build up of lightning, along with faint words of 'faster, faster, need...more...speed. One shot.' The strangled words quickly revealed to Aizawa exactly what his colleague was about to do.

The lightning had formed a massive dragon-giraffe "Handy-man, I ripped this right out of another anime; like most of my finishers and signatures. Begone in my name, Baraquiel, begone with KIRIN!" Baraquiel materialised in the heart of the lightning and descended onto the Nomu; in that moment before impact there was silence throughout the USJ.

Before the unmistakable sound thunder and lightning reverberated throughout; the lightning danced and lashed across the foyer; hitting a few of the zones. Mainly the Storm, Conflagration and Flood zones. Class 1-A, I hope you're safe.
