"Well, at least only legally and bloodily. You always defended Oona and always preferred your niece over your own daughter. But hey, it's nothing that surprises me. And the truth is, I don't give a damn about that" Yoko commented rudely.
"Yoko, things are not like that..." Toki tried to talk with his daughter.
"And even after all these years, you still lie to your daughter? Hohoho You never learned anything, Toki…." The mustachioed lobster man stood next to the brown-haired girl.
"Hmmmm….Master Sasaki….." Oona´s uncle said seriously.
"Master Toki…..It is an honor for me to meet you again after many years..." This man greeted his old rival with a Japanese bow before continuing to speak "I always want to face each other again...And what better place than in a martial arts tournament. The perfect time to show which is the best dojo"
"So you must be Yoko's sensei, right?" Nonny commented. He took his girlfriend's hand to give her peace and confidence.
"That's how it is. I am Master Sasaki, sensei of the Black Scorpions dojo, the best dojo of course. My students know the best strategies and disciplines to defeat the enemy. Which are more effective than Toki's outdated teachings" The lobster man said confidently. Yoko, the guppy boy, and the two guppy twins hit their palms with their fists to honor their motto.

The students of the Black Scorpion dojo seemed to follow very different ideals than those of the Sakura Leaf dojo. This worried our guppies, especially Oona and Molly who were the participants.

"Hahaha! Do you think Oona will be able to handle her older cousin? Hahaha!" The boy with black hair said laughing. He was one of Yoko´s partners.
"You don't know Yoko's true strength" One of the twin girls commented.
"You don't know the strength of the Black Scorpions" The other twin added.
"Listen to me, pink cotton candy hair! My babe can beat you and Oona together!" The boy replied in Molly´s face. Molly was upset by the comment, but someone stopped the comments.
"Kai, Shion, Mio…..Refrain from comments. We will leave the verbal and physical attacks for now...The tournament is what matters to all of us" Master Sasaki stopped his own students. They obeyed him without hesitation "We wish you luck in the tournament. If you want to resolve your "family conflicts", it would be best to advance in the tournament. At least you will be guaranteed second place with luck. Sayonara" The sensei decided to withdraw and his pupils from the Black Scorpions followed him without protest. Yoko simply stayed for a few seconds looking at her cousin.

"...No…..I'm not going to retire. Uncle Toki made a great effort training for this moment... I don't want to throw his effort overboard out of cowardice... Besides, I plan to keep my promise, don't I, Molly?" Oona smiled at her best friend.

"You got this, Oona!" Molly said happily. Oona smiled and decided to go to the combat arena. She met the referee who was a big purple fish and also her first opponent: Hank from the Wolf Strike dojo.
"Huh? Don't tell me she's my first opponent. She looks smaller and thinner than me! If so, this will be easy" Hank said with overconfidence.
"Do not judge a book by its cover" Oona answered quietly.
"Bah. This will just be a warm up for me" He said with a smirk.
"Very well, calm down. It's time to start. Don't forget, if you put one foot...or fin outside the sand line, it will be a point for the other. I want to see a fair and honorable fight" The referee explained. Oona and Hank nodded. Both decided to bow before starting the fight, obeying protocol.
"The fight is about to begin. Oona from Sakura Leaf vs. Hank from Wolf Strike" Mr. Grouper said loudly.
"Come on, Oona!" Deema shouted loudly.
"Alright….Go!" The referee said it and the combat started. Because Oona wasn't very focused, Hank managed to easily knock her down with a couple of punches. They weren't dangerous, but they weren't weak blows, so to speak. They were enough to make her fall.

We can't deny that he was worried to see Oona taken down so easily, but he had to remain neutral as he was a narrator of the tournament. The girl managed to get up a short time later. Both fighters returned to the starting point to begin the second round.
"Ready? Go!" Saying that, Hank attacked first again. This time, Oona was able to react in time and managed to dodge and block the first attacks. This time she lasted longer, but it all ended quickly after she tried to land the first blow. He managed to grab her fist and push her away. That movement caused her to fall to the ground. That attack was not that dangerous, but unfortunately, that attack caused her to be taken out of the allowed zone.

She was not going to hold back, because not only did she want to win the tournament because of her promise and the prize, but there was one more personal objective: To face her cousin Yoko.
"You better back off if you don't want to get hurt" Hank commented confidently. Oona just smiled at him.
"Always to the end..." Oona decided to get into combat position to start the third round.
"Third round! Get started!" The round started. Hank again attacked first, but this time, he did not expect Oona's spectacular maneuver. She quickly dodged and moved to the side of him where he was exposed.
"Whaa-?!" Hank couldn't react in time. She was too fast and managed to land a blow on his stomach that quickly knocked him down "UGGGHHH!"
"Point for Oona" The referee said.
"Hank 2 - Oona 1! The combat has become more interesting. I thought Oona would be defeated quickly. But no, it seems that she will decide to go for more" Starman said excitedly.

Hank wanted to make more accurate blows with her pincers, but Oona managed to successfully block and dodge. Before he could do anything, Oona managed to kick him, making him retreat. Although the attack did not knock him down, it was very effective. Because he stepped back without knowing that he left the allowed line.
"What?! Noo!" Hank complained for his own mistake.

"Oona 2 - Hank 2! The score tied in a surprising way! Now both fighters have the same probability of advancing to the next round!" William Starman said.
"That was very smart of Oona. Maybe she couldn't take him down, but she managed to knock him out of the fighting arena to win the round" Zooli commented.

"Final Round! Go!" After the referee said that, Hank lunged hard at Oona. But she managed to evade him without problems.
"I don't plan to be defeated in my first match of the tournament. I won't let you beat me, girl!" Hank shouted bothered. Oona remained calm and with her cool head, she already had more of an advantage over her opponent. Hank decided to start punching and kicking constantly. He used an offensive-aggressive style as he noted that he had to give his all to avoid elimination. Oona managed to block and dodge the attacks elegantly. She knew that the fight was already in her favor. In her final move, Oona decided to use her tail to knock down both of her opponent's legs. And as Hank fell, she hit his chest with her palms to knock him out of the fighting arena. Not only did he fall to the ground defeated, but he was taken out of the edge of the arena.
"Oona 3 - Hank 2! It's over! Oona is the winner of the first match of the tournament and advances to the next phase after some complications at the beginning of the match" William shouted excitedly.
"It seems that Oona's defensive style managed to overthrow Hank's offensive technique. This has been a spectacular fight. And the best thing is that it is only the first fight" Mr. Grouper said with admiration.

"Hehe, thanks" Oona said flattered for her friend´s comments.
"You did very well, dear niece. But this is just the beginning. The next fights will get increasingly difficult. You better concentrate, because here you could have been eliminated quickly if you hadn't reacted in time" Toki explained quietly.
"I'll keep it in mind" The Asian girl nodded.
In this way, the Tournament has officially started. The first fights could be short but intense. From the first phase, we noticed that the path to reaching the final would not be an easy task. Well, all the fighters looked very skilled and only the best will have the opportunity to win the prize. There is a great variety of fighters and combat techniques that made the fights different and entertaining. Although we cannot see all the fights in detail, I can assure you that they were all a great spectacle of skill and spectacular combat. We can see some key combat results.
"Molly 3 - Irma 1! It´s over! Molly´s the winner of this great combat!" Molly had started well, easily winning her first match, although she was only defeated in an intermediate match.
"YOO-HOO! You've seen it, guys! That's my girl! She is my beloved girlfriend!" Gil screamed, celebrating his love´s victory.
"Hehe…Gilly, I´m your wife" Molly said nervously.
"My wife? Even better!" The new Mr. Gordon said excitedly. Their friends giggled.

"Thank you. I must admit it was a bit easy" The pink-haired guppy commented.

The first match of the first semi-final will be: Oona from Sakura Leaf vs. Kai from Black Scorpions!" William Starman said excitedly and the audience shouted with joy and excitement.

"Oona 1 - Kai 0! The fight started a little slowly, but Oona managed to weaken Kai's defense, taking the first point" Mr. Grouper narrated.
"Very good, Oona! That's how it's done!" The guppies said with all their spirit when they saw their friend's advantage. It didn't take long for Oona to collect her second point.

"Oona 2 - Kai 0! Kai began to be more offensive, and that cost him the defeat of this round. He must be more sure of his movements if he does not want to be eliminated" William Starman explained.
"Don't be careless! We cannot allow another Black Scorpion to be left out of the tournament! We already have the twins out, we don't want you to be eliminated! Be more ruthless!" Master Sasaki said angrily. It shows that he was more demanding and rude than Toki.

"You are a disgrace to the Black Scorpions! How did you fail on a rookie mistake!? We must be relentless and never show weakness!" Master Sasaki scolded one of his best students.
"I'm so sorry, sensei" Kai bowed to him.
"Hmpt….You will pay for your incompetence later" The lobster man said quietly.
"The bigger your ego, the harder the fall….I think you forgot that" Shion, one of the twin members of the Black Scorpions mocked him.
"You better not talk. At least I made it to the semi-final! You and your sister were eliminated in the Round of 16!" Kai defended himself.
"At least I had a better fight than yours. Well, at least I...My younger sister turned out to perform worse" Shion said disappointed.
"Shut up! My battle was harder than yours and you know it!" Mio, the youngest twin replied.
"Shut up, everyone! I'm still standing in the tournament. The honor of the Black Scorpions is in my hands now. And well, I'm not going to miss the opportunity to beat my cousin...again. We will reflect on your failures later. I'm going to win this tournament" Yoko ordered seriously.
"Oh! Babe…I…well…" Kai wanted to excuse himself for his own defeat.
"Hmpt….How pathetic you are. I expected more from you…." That was the last thing Yoko said before leaving her companions to prepare for the next fight.
"...And we will start with the second confrontation of the other semi-final: Molly from the Sakura Leaf dojo against Yoko from the Black Scorpions dojo!..." William Starman said excitedly.
"Very good...Molly, your opponent will be the best student of the Black Scorpions. For nothing in the world, don't underestimate her" Toki advised her.
"I don't plan to do it, sensei" Molly said confidently.
"...Molly, please…Be careful…" Oona said worriedly.
"Don't worry, Oona! I'm going to win this fight. We made a promise, right? I want to face you in the final" Molly smiled at her. Oona was still worried, but that made her smile a little.
"(giggle) In that case, I'll see you in the final... Good luck" Oona wished her the best luck. The leader of the Bubble Guppies finally arrived at the combat arena where she would come face to face with Yoko, the best fighter of the Black Scorpions and Oona's cousin. Both decide to make the traditional bow before starting the fight.
"Yoko, I hope this is a great fight. May the best win" Molly greeted her before starting.
"Hehe….I would worry more about yourself. If you know what's best for you, I kindly offer you to leave the tournament. I don't want anything bad to happen" Yoko said with a suspicious tone of voice.
"If you think that's going to scare me, it's because you don't really know me..." Molly answered calmly.
"And I see that you don't know me well either...But hey, I hope you last longer than my previous rivals..." Yoko commented before they prepared themselves for the first round.
"Round 1! Start!" And thus, the second key duel has begun! Molly would finally confront her friend Oona's older cousin. And there we can see why she is so feared. Unlike other opponents, Yoko used so many different fighting styles that it was difficult to predict her pattern. That almost got Molly down in the first round. She had to react in time to not lose the first duel. Yoko was fast and strong alike. And Molly took advantage of her defensive and counterattack techniques to keep up the pace of the fight. For a first round, this duel lasted a long time until Molly managed to get her out of the confines of the arena, although she was never able to take her down.
"Point for Molly!"
"Molly 1 - Yoko 0! Incredible! It is the first round that Yoko loses in this tournament. Although Molly didn't knock her down, she managed to get her out of the combat arena" William Starman narrated, very shocked for Yoko´s first lost round.
"Yoko managed to overwhelm Molly with her almost perfect offensive style. But Molly managed to keep her at bay. Although she failed to knock her down, she used her wits to her advantage" Mr. Grouper added.
"Nice Molly! Teach her a lesson!" Gil shouted happily. And the guppies too.
"Heh….Nothing bad. You are the first to defeat me in a round...Maybe this fight is really worth it after all" Yoko said with a evil smirk.
"I will erase that smile from your face. Because I'm not going to lose today, you know" Molly commented.
"Round 2! Begin!" For the second round, Yoko showed why everyone feared her. She was a fierce fighter, fast, strong and relentless. Molly had to apply her very quick defensive maneuvers in a short time. Unfortunately, I can't handle Yoko's offensive and she broke her guard. In that vulnerable state, Yoko was not merciful like others and she managed to deliver a powerful combo of punches and blows with her tail, leaving marks on Molly's stomach, her chest and some on her face. This caused her to fall and be knocked down fiercely. So much so that the referee stopped the duel to check her condition.
"Uggghhhh agghhh!" Molly was knocked down on the floor, although she managed to get up minutes later.
"Molly 1 - Yoko 1! It seems that Yoko made her fierce counterattack. That is the relentlessness that characterizes Black Scorpions" William Starman said surprisedly.
"That was very brutal of her. I don't think Molly is in a position to continue, but from the looks of it, she's not planning on retiring" Mr. Grouper commented nervously. After all, he knows her.
"Molly! Please, you can still withdraw! It's not worth it! Stop!" Oona started to panic. It seems that she became quickly distressed when she saw her friend in that state. Molly remained firm to her promise and decided to start the next round.
"Round 3! Start!" The new round began. Molly learned from the brutal counterattack and she decided to keep her distance from Yoko. Which wouldn't be easy since she was fast and agile too. However, things would begin to take a more sinister turn.
"Molly, I've heard about you. You're a little famous. And you know something? People overestimate you. You're not as big as they say. Do you think you're important because of the Bubble Guppies? On your own merits? But I want to show you something" Yoko said while stalking Molly. She kept her distance until she felt something horrible. She noticed how a strong blow hit her stomach, leaving her breathless.
"UGGGGHHH!" Molly screamed for the unexpected attack.
"..."Nice" people like you make me sick. That's why I hate my cousin. But I'll teach you something she learned from me: Good people can be broken!" And saying that, the horror began for her. Molly received the most brutal beating of her life. Yoko hit her with her fists and her tail so many times that it was a powerful devastating combo. Even if Molly tried to dodge or block, Yoko's techniques were overwhelming. The only thing Molly could do was take the brutal beating. That filled Oona with terror and she began to breathe hard and in panic. Oona's uncle noticed his niece's reaction and saw the beating Molly was receiving. And at that moment, he remembered a horrible event from the past.
"N-No! This fight must stop!" Toki wanted to intervene. However, before they could do anything about it. Molly had fallen to the ground weakly. She was overwhelmed by the attack. And before she could do anything, Yoko approached her.
"Ughhh….Ughhhh…."
"Don't forget this about me: Without mercy, without fear!" And at that moment, she did something horrible. She took Molly's left arm and stretched it so far as to cause her pain. The arbitration was going to interfere, but all this happened in seconds and something terrifying was heard.
CRACK!
"AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
There was absolute silence. The only thing that could be heard were Molly's screams of extreme pain. The referee finally moved Yoko away from Molly and the paramedics acted immediately. Unlike other incidents in the tournament, this was more serious that it was declared a red alert. Most of the audience was frozen in shock. The narrators William and Grouper were too. The Bubble Guppies were terrified to see their leader having just suffered a brutal beating and a horrendous end. The most shocked were her husband Gil and Oona, which left her paralyzed and terrified. She could only see Yoko's evil look as he retreated from her. The tournament was paused while the actions were taken. We can tell that Yoko really destroyed Molly in a way we haven't seen before.
….Wow…..Wow….I was truly speechless. Normally I have written harsh things that happen to the protagonists, but I think this time I feel that I detail more pain than usual...Ouch...Everything indicates that Yoko is not a character that we should underestimate. And I think that's what happened to Molly. Has the tournament taken a more sinister turn? What happened between Oona and Yoko? And why is Oona afraid of her so much?
