Within minutes, Kai, Zane, Gewuji and Blake were out of the pit and facing Gulch, who was back on the stand. "Pleased as I am that the innocence of the accused has been proven by our flawless judicial system, we are left with a baffling question." He said. "If they are not flesh-skeletons, who are they?"
"Uh, um, Chancellor, during the, um, trial, they appeared to use Elemental Powers." The Geckle that attacked Cole replied, passing between Zane and Blake.
"Yes, I observed."
"Perhaps the rumours we heard about Elemental Masters visiting Shintaro were true?" He turns to Kai, Zane, Gewuji and Blake. "And if they are Elemental Masters, perhaps they know Gilly." The opinion makes the Geckles gasp and talk amongst themselves.
Zane then noticed Cole's mother's locket around the Geckle's neck. "Fascinating." He said.
"What?" Blake asked.
"That Geckle appears to wear a necklace, like the one Cole claims to have seen around the neck of the creature who was in his chambers." They all look at him suspiciously.
"That must be the Geckle that Cole saw." Kai replied. "Even scratched him."
"Do you know the one called Gilly?" Gluch asked the four Ninja, who look up at him.
They all look at each other before turning back. "No, we do not." Zane replied.
"But we are Elemental Masters." Gewuji said before she and Kai raise their right hands while Zane and Blake raise their left hands to fire streams of their powers, surprising all the Geckles.
"Our friends also posses Elemental Powers."
They disperse them and lower their arms. "We got separated in the escape from the Skull Sorcerer, and we're trying to find them." Blake said.
"There are more of you?" Gulch asked, standing up in astonishment.
"Yes." Gewuji replied. "Kai and I have a relative each, who also posses Elemental Powers."
"Then we will try to help you in light of the dishonour we have brought upon ourselves with our suspicions." He then points to Gewuji. "I propose you, Girl-Ninja-Who-Is-Not-A-Skeleton, be elected the new Chancellor!" He takes off his sash and holds it up.
"What? No, no, no, I don't want to-"
"I second!" The Geckle with Cole's mother's locket called out, raising his hand.
"All in favour?" Gulch asked the Geckles while holding up a stone.
Pretty soon, the Geckles start to throw pebbles at her, scaring her. "What the hell are they doing?" She asked, trying to endure the stone throwing.
Gulch walks over to Gewuji. "Congratulations, Chancellor Girl-Ninja-Who-Is-Not-A-Skeleton." He puts the sash over her head and around her left shoulder, and she is surprised.
"Okay, then." She looks up at the stand before heading over to the stand, confusing Kai, Zane and Blake.
"Uh, Gewuji?" Blake asked.
"Where are you going?" Zane asked.
Gewuji comes up to the stand before clearing her throat. "I thank you all for choosing me as your new Chancellor. But, I fear that I may not be as brilliant as you all think. Which is why, my first action is that I wish for an advisor to assist me in my affairs. Any takers?" The Geckles look amongst themselves before Gewuji then turned to Kai, Zane and Blake. "Then, I proclaim a vote on these three competitors."
"What?" Kai asked, shocked and confused.
"We did not agree to this vote." Zane said.
"Wait, this might be a good idea." Blake replied before he steps forward. "Chancellor Sanders, I nominate myself to be your advisor."
Gewuji thinks for a bit before turning to the Geckles. "All in favour?" She asked.
"Aye!" The Geckles reply and cheer and throw pebbles at her.
"Then it is decided! Blake Borg, you are my advisor!" The Geckles cheer before they start throwing pebbles at Blake, who starts to flinch and raise his arms to block them.
"Hey, knock it off!" He yelled.
"My next action is that no one throws pebbles at my advisor!" Gewuji called out, and they stop before throwing more pebbles at her. "Oh, this is gonna be sweet."
"What are they doing?" Kai asked, picking up a pebble that was thrown at Blake, who walks up next to Gewuji.
"It would appear Geckles express their approval by throwing objects at each other." Zane replied with amusement, kicking a pebble aside.
Garpo and Ginkle walk toward the stand to face Gewuji. "What is your next order of business, Chancellor Girl-Ninja-Who-Is-Not-A-Skeleton?" Garpo asked.
"First of all, from now on, refer to me as either Chancellor Gewuji or Chancellor Sanders." She replied. "Is that clear?"
"Aye." They both said.
"Everyone in agreement?"
"Aye!" The Geckles said before throwing pebbles at her.
Blake slowly moves close to her, not wanting to get hit by a pebble. "Are you doing this just for fun?" He asked.
"It does hurt a little. But, fight through the pain, and they won't be a problem."
"Okay, then." A pebble soon hits him on the cheek.
"Sorry!" A Geckle called out.
"And maybe we can ask the Geckles to tell us something about the origin of the Skull Sorcerer. Something that might help us defeat him?"
Gewuji nods before looking down at Garpo, Ginkle and Gaerwulf. "There is something we wish to know from you people." She said. "What do you know about the Skull Sorcerer?" The Geckles become surprised and start to talk amongst themselves.
Ginkle soon came up in front of the two. "The Story Cave!" He said.
"Take them to the Story Cave!" Gaerwulf said.
"Story Cave?" Kai asked Zane, who shrugs.
