Two days later.

Mei woke up from her long sleep and saw it was midnight. She slowly got up and saw Ezekiel's toolbox on the floor.

Mei: "What a mess... Sorry Ezekiel." she looked at her phone and wanted to text him, but she didn't. She picks it up and puts it back in her bag. She got up from her bed and slowly stretched. She went to the kitchen and was going to grab a snack. She was still wearing her clothes from yesterday. She grabs a protein bar and a soda can. But it was empty.

Mei: "Of course..." She opened the door and went straight to the development studio.

She began to work on her stuff still tired and was working on new goggles. She wasn't alone. She heard some students from the development studio talking. She stopped for a moment and heard their conversation.

"It baffles me how Mei always destroys all of her inventions! Doesn't she pay attention?"

Mei looked away and was just cleaning some stuff.

"Yeah... It's a 50/50 chance they work. They either work or just get destroyed. What a joke. She thinks people will go and buy her gadgets if she's like that."

Mei pulled out some blueprints she made and looked at them.

One of the students spotted Mei.

"Oh crap... She's here."

"What about it? She's not going to do anything. With that quirk of hers. Let's go." The students left the studio leaving her alone.

Mei couldn't be asked about them. So she simply just began to create a small glove.

Mei: "Alright... I think that should work for now. *She opens the protein bar and begins to eat it* Heh. That was fast!"

She placed the gloves on her desk and continued to work on other stuff. Before she could begin her bag was on the floor and the toolbox emerged from the bag.

The toolbox: "Why didn't you fight back? They were talking about you."

Mei looks at the toolbox and smiles.

Mei: "I'm a support hero." The toolbox slowly jumped towards her.

Toolbox: "So what? That doesn't mean you can't fight back! *He slowly got up in front of her* being a support hero doesn't mean you can't fight."

Mei: "We fight with our inventions. We help in the backline and that's all. *She looks at the computer and is making a blueprint for an armor*

The toolbox looks at the computer.

The toolbox: "You're a smart girl. Probably the smartest I have ever witnessed. You think fast and create fast. But you can't let anyone talk to you like that. Listen... You can think so fast that you guess, Ezekiel quirk. Alfred's heart. Those gloves. But I need you to fight back. What happens if something bad happens? Nobody is around? No heroes. Just you..."

She looks at him.

Mei: "You're very funny. You know that? You're a talking toolbox. That he created... Look. I don't have a quirk that can keep up with everyone. Like Ezekiel. He's smart but with a deadly quirk. I'm smart. But I don't have a deadly quirk." She returns to look at the computer.

The toolbox: "You got the attitude to be a hero. But you need to realize that not every fancy quirk can save lives... You need a mind of a genius and its inventions. Trust me. You can be invincible."

Mei chuckles and looks at the toolbox.

Mei: "Invincible huh? I like that idea.* She looks at the time and it is two in the morning* guess Ezekiel not coming today... *Sigh*"

She got up and left the toolbox there. She left the development studio and was roaming the school at night. She was bored, so she began to look at different places. Rooms. Arenas. She was looking at everything like a curious child. She got bored and left the school entirely. She began to roam the city looking at the lights of the city. She was walking down a sidewalk and stumbled upon the market she mostly goes to. She went inside the market and waved at the owner who was behind the cash register.

She was getting hungry so she went to buy some snacks. She grabs a can of soda and some chips. Before she could leave she saw a candy that she wanted.

She was curiously looking at the candy.

Mei: "mhm... Too much sugar..." Someone entered the shop.

Mei: "This one has too many..."

The owner saw the two figures looking at him.

"Can I help you?"

"yeah... How about you give us that dime old man?"

Mei wasn't paying attention to the argument that was happening. She was still looking at the candy section.

"Over my dead body... Tell, Dayman he can kiss my ass!"

Mei finally grabs the candy.

Mei: "Alright... This one looks-"

BANG!* A shotgun was fired. Mei dropped everything that she had in her hands and quickly hid. The two figures walked closer to the owner of the shop.

BANG!* Another shot was fired. Mei quickly put her hands on her mouth and was shaking. Scared. She was slightly peeking to see what was happening. She saw two masked men. One of them was opening the cash register.

"What are you doing man?! Let's go find that dime, Dayman needs it for his reactor!" The two figures quickly began to walk towards where Mei was and she quickly hid the other side of where she was. She saw the two men quickly opening the back door and entered the room. Mei without a thought quickly ran towards the door.

Mei: "Come on... *She looks at the lifeless body of the shop owner* I'm sorry... *She opened the door*

Ding!*

Mei looked up and saw that the door had a bell. She quickly turned around and saw one of the masked men looking at her. Holding a small box with a weird moving dime.

He slowly pulled out a gun, but before he could do anything the other one spoke.

"Wait!" He looks closely at Mei.

"It's her! Get her!" Mei widened in fear and quickly left the shop. The other two began to chase her.

"Ms. Hatsume wait!" Mei was petrified and was running as fast as possible.

"Is she this fast?" One of them stopped and began to make a call.

Mei was getting closer to the school. She was almost reaching the gates, but before she could open the gates. Something was inside the gates.

Mei: "HE-" The figure quickly held her mouth and lifted her in one hand.

"Shhh... Go to sleep..." Mei was getting sleepy and passed out.

The other two figures finally arrived.

"Sir..."

The figure picks her up and puts her in a black car.

"Who shot old man John?" The figure was at least six feet. Wearing a dragon mask and black attire.

"That would be me, sir... But... He wasn't going to give us the dime... Sorry..." He gave the box to him. He grabs it and looks at him.

"He was a good man. But now... He's gone. Very well. Let us Go. We must prepare ourselves for my sweet guest"

The three men entered the car and left the place with Mei.

It was seven in the morning and power loader was opening the development studio. He looked around and was surprised that Mei wasn't the first to enter the studio.

Power loader: "Strange... Mhm..." *He looked around and saw a piece of paper on the floor. It was a protein bar.* Mei eats this... *He looked around more and saw that her computer was on. He sees the toolbox* she was here... Something's wrong..." He quickly left the studio and stumbled upon a few pro heroes walking in the hallways. He was getting confused and asked one of the heroes what was going on.

Power loader: "mic. What's going on?"

The present mic stopped and said: "Some old man got murdered in the morning. Plus. One of the students is missing." He quickly left and Nezu stumbled upon the power loader.

Nezu: "We have a problem, Maijima. Follow me."

Power loader began to follow Nezu.

Nezu: "The support student Mei Hatsume has been kidnapped." Power loader was stunned and spoke.

Power loader: "What... But.. how?"

Nezu pulled out a small camera and spoke:

Nezu: "She was in the development studio since two in the morning. Maijima we talked about this. To always close the studio. Then she began to wander around the school at night. Breaking another rule. But that's not all. *He also had the camera from the shop.* She was in the shop where the poor owner died. Look."

Power loader looked closely at the video footage and saw everything.

Power loader: "Then what happened?"

Nezu showed him the entrance of the school.

Nezu: "She was kidnapped right in front of those damn gates. The best school for being a hero and she was kidnapped like nothing. I need you to stand down."

Power loader: "Stand down?! One of my students was kidnapped and you're telling me to stand down?!"

Nezu: "That's an order. The other support students need you."

Power loader was furious, but he walked away.

Nezu quickly walked towards All Might and Aizawa.

Nezu: "Nothing?"

Aizawa nods.

Aizawa: "Every pro hero looked everywhere in Japan. She's not here."

Nezu was tapping his chin.

Nezu: "Impossible... This is getting out of hand so fast... Think... Think."

Midnight appeared with a worried face.

Midnight: "They arrested every villain in Japan and they have no idea where the girl is at... She's not in Japan."

All might look at midnight.

All might: "How's Ezekiel doing? He knows what's happening right?"

Nezu: "I told her to not speak of this subject to her son. The worst case scenario is that we have a blood-lusted rehab on the loose."

All might: "The child will soon learn. But where is he?"

Midnight spoke: "he's in my apartment. I uh... Keeping him company... The kids could tell him so..."

Aizawa faces Palm and he looks at her.

Aizawa: "Seriously? Then who's keeping him company now?"

Meanwhile in Midnight's apartment.

Mt. Lady: "WHAT! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE MIDNIGHT'S SON!!! YOU LOOK SO CUTE!!!"

Ezekiel: "Right... *He looks at his phone and sees that Mei hasn't texted him yet."
