In the beginning, there was a being, no one knew its name. It floated around endlessly for millions of years, staring into the dark void of himself. For it was space. Eventually, it grew lonely. It first created the being—other than it—Khaos. From Khaos, came Gaea, Tartarus, Erebus, Ananke, Chronos, Ouranos, and Nyx. Gaea, the eldest, became the embodiment of Earth and Nature. Tartarus became the embodiment of Hell and everything evil. Erebus took on the domain of Darkness. Ananke took Fate, while Nyx got Night. History deemed them the first beings; the Primordials. Nyx had married Erebus over their closely related domains. They soon sired Aether and Hemera. Ananke married Chronos, siring three powerful beings: Atropos, Clotho, and Lachesis—commonly known as the Moriai (fates). Atropos became the Fate of Death, Clotho became the Fate of Birth, and Lachesis became the Fate of Life. They controlled everything that would come after the Primordials. Gaea married Ouranos. It was at this time, that Khaos had fallen into a deep slumber. It was well-agreed upon by the siblings that Gaea and Ouranos would become the King and Queen of the Cosmos.

Gaea and Ouranos had the Hekatonkheires. However, they were not liked by the King who tossed his children down into his brother, Tartarus. Gaea cried over the loss of her children. Ouranos, already feeling the rush of power and superiority, ignored her. He went back for more, however. Birthing eleven other Titans: Hyperion, the Titan of Light, Heat, and Lord of the East; Iapetus, Titan of Mortal Life and Lord of the West; Krios, Titan of Stars and Constellations, and Lord of the West; Koios, Titan of Farsight and Intellect, and Lord of the North: the final one, Kronos, the Titan of Time and Harvest, Lord of Evil. Theia, the Titaness of Clear Sight and Splender; Themis, the Titaness of Divine Law and Order; Mnemosyne, the Titaness of Memory and languages and words; Phoebe; the Titaness of Mystery; Tethys, Titaness of Seas and Freshwater; and Rhea, the Titaness of Fertility and Motherhood.

Stilling upset over the banishment of her children, Gaea plotted with the Titans. She gathered them in the Earth and explained the plot. Some of the Titans, like Oceanus and the female Titans refrained from participating in the Murder of Ouranos. The youngest son of Gaea walked up to his mother and told her that he would be the one to kill their father. Gaea gifted a Scythe to Kronos. It had the power to kill Immortals.

Gaea led Ouranos into her domain for a date and whilst Ouranos had his back turn Hyperion would pin him to the ground and the rest of his brothers (excluding Oceanus) came out from their hiding place. With Kronos at the head, the Titans would cut Ouranos into pieces. During the murder, Ouranos spewed out a prophecy that promised that the same thing would occur to Kronos.

The world had transferred to the Titans. Kronos was elected King of the Titans. He soon married Rhea. From this marriage, they would have the Gods; Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus. However, five of them would be eaten by their power-hungry father. Rhea hid her final son and gave her husband an enchanted rock. Baby Zeus was sent to an island to be raised by the nymphs provided by Mother Earth.

After Zeus completed his training, he decided it was time to wage war on his father, Kronos. For that, he would need the help of his swallowed brethren. So, he would pretend to be a titan cupbearer. He gave his father a combination of nectar with mustard while giving Kronos' guests a sleeping potion. The concoction was enough for Kronos to regurgitate Zeus's siblings. They had escaped together.

After fighting a war that lasted ten strong years, Zeus cut his father into thousands of pieces, just like his father before him, with his lightning bolt forged by his uncles, the Hekatonkheires. From the ashes of Mount Orthys, the new kingdom rose: Mount Olympus.

Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades had to split the domains of their father. Picking straws, Zeus got the domain of the Sky, Poseidon got the domain of the Sea, and Hades got the domain of the Underworld.

Zeus expelled Hades from Mount Olympus as he was crowned King of the Gods, forming a council filled with his siblings.

Gaea wasn't done. She watched as the Gods ruled over the Earth. She was not impressed. Although she assisted in the demise of the Titans, she wasn't fond of the attitudes of the New Gods. They were arrogant and believed they had supremacy over the entirety of the Cosmos. Gaea flashed to Tartarus.

Appearing in front of the embodiment himself, she looked at him.

"Those gods—they are terrible," Gaea said.

"Well, hello, sister," Tartarys grumbled. "What do you want to do about that?"

"I propose we have a few kids to rival those puny gods," Gaea suggested. "You are Tartarus, a being of immense power, I believe our kids would be great."

"Why should I agree to do that?" Tartarus asked gruffly.

"We both dislike the Gods. We could rule the Earth, as Husband and Wife." Gaea smiled.

"Fine." Tartarus caved him, those idiotic beings wouldn't know what hit them.

The firstborn of Tartarus and Gaea was named Perseus. He had popped out of his mother's womb and poked her in the face. Gaea awoke at this with a jolt.

"Who are you?" Gaea looked at the little being before her.

"Hello, mother. I am Perseus, I believe my domains are destruction and decay. With the minor domains of Creation and Love."

Gaea smiled, she felt love—true love built in her heart. "Well, my little destroyer, let's get you situated."

Perseus's bright and destructive red eyes gleamed with excitement.

Ah... Perseus has been born. This is just the prologue. The next chapter will feature some training and a visit. Hopeful, the visit isn't too bad?
