Chapter 133 Double Date
Its been a week since People were brought back from the dead. People knew, Cared and loved. People who's lives were cut short due to circumstance that was beyond their control.
Currently Sean was talking with Quint.
"I'll admit I always figured you'd be some big shot in the government. Never once would have thought you be some powerful ruler of the universe." Quint said making Sean chuckle.
"Yeah well I didn't exactly chose this life but someone has to do it. So what about you? What are you gonna do? Shark hunting is currently Illegal till the numbers pick up." Sean said. As much as he hated sharks after multiple events he still had to do the right thing when it came to animal rights.
"I suppose I can go back to fishing again. Not like I know how to do anything else when it comes to the sea." Quint said about to leave.
"Oh before I forget." Sean said placing his riffle down. "This belongs to you." Sean said.
"Keep it. Besides it's gotten you this far. It'll help you along the way." Quint said leaving making him smirk.
Meanwhile
"Holy shit the rumors are actually true." Revy said seeing her old group of friends as they walked into the med bay since she was due to give birth any day now.
"Coming back from the dead. Never once did I ever think that would happen." Dutch said.
"Yeah no kidding. And I'm even more surprised whats happened since then." Benny said looking at Revy's large stomach making her grin.
"What can I say? I have a good life now." Revy said.
"So we've noticed. I'm a little bit worried what the kid's gonna be like." Rock said rubbing his head.
"KIDS. I'm having Twins." Revy said.
"Oh. I'm almost afraid." Rock said making her grin.
Later
Sean was walking into the command room of the watchtower to look at the latest reports when.
"You've been watching me!"
"Hmm?" Sean said before looking down seeing J'onn being yelled at by Huntress.
"The hell's going on here?" Talbot asked.
"Hell if I know." Sean said.
"You know what Mandragora did and I almost had him." Huntress said.
"Mandragora? I thought he was facing the death penalty." Talbot said.
"Clearly something came up." Sean said accessing his file. "Oh." Sean said jumping down.
"I had Mandragora moved for his safety." J'onn said.
"I'll find him myself." Huntress said before she bumped into Sean. "Oops sorry." Huntress said.
"Maybe I can help out with that." Sean said.
"Sean, her actions could have damaged the Legions reputation. I recommend she be..." J'onn said.
"I make the decisions around here. And her reasons for wanting him dead are understandable. Although the oldest story in the book in my opinion. Leave this to me and so help me god you better not have him moved again." Sean said as the two left.
"Don't worry I see exactly what he's doing." Talbot said from above making him nod.
Meanwhile
Russo and Sara AKA White Canary were placed on guard duty for Mandragora by J'onn's orders.
"Remind me again. How the fuck did we end up on guard detail for this fat ass?" Russo whispered to her making her grin.
"Question of the century." Sara said.
"I believe that individual passed beyond the veil at the hands of one Tommy Monahan who himself later mistakenly fell onto a train track, I am told." Mandragora said to Agent Faraday.
"Now, why is it that most of your criminal acquaintances seem to be deceased?" Faraday asked.
"Perhaps my friends are simply prone to misfortune, Agent faraday." Mandragora said. (Oh my god could he at least try to be a little original? Thats oldest crap in the book)
"My job is to prep you to testify before the grand jury, Mr Mandragora. You're gonna have to come up with a lot more than some mook who may or may not be around anymore if you want immunity from prosecution." Faraday said.
"I am doing my best. You can't blame me for being nervous. I have enemies everywhere. Even Legion enemies." Mandaragora said looking at Russo and Sara.
"For good reason." Russo said.
"Besides, I am ravaged by hunger. Feed me and I shall squeal on all manner of former associates. Speaking of squealing, White Canary I notice you can't take your eyes off me. One can hardly blame you." Mandragora said making Russo frown. "Perhaps after Agent Faraday helps me absolve me of my alleged crimes I can put you in a cage and have you sing for me."
"Oh piss off." Russo said.
"Relax Bill. Its just all talk. Besides with all the enemies he's made this might just his last meal." Sara said making Mandragora burst out laughing.
Meanwhile
"Kruger where are you? I'm under the bridge like you asked." Huntress said on the phone before he hung up. "Did you just!" Huntress tried to say before she heard an engine making her look to see Sean on his motorcycle. (Incase people forgot picture the Famous Ghost Rider Bike from the first movie)
"What were you expecting? Some regular ass car?" Sean asked making her smirk before getting on behind him.
"This must have cost a fortune." Huntress said.
"Hardly." Sean said before driving away.
Meanwhile
"THATS IT!" Russo yelled charging at Mandragora but was held back.
"Sit down!" Faraday yelled.
"You heard what this fucking Fatass said!" Russo yelled.
"Oh, dear. Did I offend you somehow, little man? My most sincere apologies." Mandragora said making him growl.
"Easy Bill. Nothing this guy can say is gonna affect me one way or the other." Sara said.
"Is that right? Well, then, perhaps you won't mind explaining how such a lovely young lady like you ends up with a nobody like him. We're all the real men in the Legion already taken?" Mandragora asked making her narrow her eyes on that.
And both of them went outside.
"Can't affect you huh?" Russo asked.
"Ok almost anything. Ow. It's like punching a brick wall." Sara said holding her hand.
"Here." Russo said inspecting it. "Ah I've seen way worse. You'll live." Russo said before they went up a tree house.
"Remind me again how he ended up in protective custody? I thought he was the last mob Boss on Earth." Sara said.
"Or so we think. Every now and then our intelligence is proven wrong." Russo said.
"Still is kinda pisses me off to think he's gonna get off clean and not serve time or be put down." Sara said before a police car drove up in front of the house.
"Guess they want to add more security." Russo said.
"Wait hold up." Sara said spotting a motorcycle.
"Wait a minute. I know that bike anywhere." Russo said.
Sean and Huntress jumped over a fence before coming face to face with Russo and Sara.
"Ah shit." Sean said.
"You're not going in that house, Huntress." Sara said.
"You're seriously going to protect a mass murderer from facing justice?" Huntress asked.
"You mean Revenge." Sara said.
"She's got a point...OW!" Sean said as she punched him in the shoulder.
"Who's side are you on?" Huntress asked before they heard something breaking before Sara rushed in and growled seeing Faraday and the guards knocked out.
"Mandragora is gone." Sara said.
Soon enough Faraday and the others got up when the real police arrived.
"Do you have any idea what you've done?" Sara asked.
"Yes, I hunted a murderer. A murder that the Martian is protecting because he's an idiot." Huntress said.
"We don't have time for this. We've got to ask my buddy what he just picked up and put in his jacket." Russo said seeing Sean pick something up and put in his jacket.
"Me?" Sean asked.
"Buddy." Russo said crossing his arms.
"Oh fine. Here." Sean said tossing a key. "My guess is thats to the storage room at the train station." Sean said.
"Alright, you two stay here and don't cause anymore problems." Russo said as he and Sara left before Huntress punched him.
"OW! Will you stop doing that?" Sean asked rubbing his shoulder.
"All that training and you can't even pick up a key without being noticed?" Huntress asked annoyed.
"The key is fake. Little something next Gen Nanomites can make. This is what I picked up." Sean said pulling out a Shipment arrival schedule. "Shall we?" Sean asked making her grin.
Outside Russo and Sara were in the tree house laying down.
"I don't get it. Why aren't we on our way to the train station?" Sara asked.
"Wait for it." Russo said before Sean and Huntress rushed out before getting on his bike and drove off. "I know how my buddy works almost as good as Talbot does and I know when I'm being conned since he did the same bullshit when he was a kid." Russo said.
Sean drove to the docks with Huntress on his back.
"Your a lot smarter then you let on." Huntress said.
"I may not be able to think of every scenario like I usually think but I can still make a good plan when I need to. Now why don't you tell me what this is about? I know this has to be personal." Sean said.
"You wouldn't understand." Huntress said.
"Honey you're talking to a guy who's achieved revenge and got nothing out of it but regret. I know exactly what this is about. Mandragora killed your folks when you were younger. He used to work for your old man till he took over. Your father hid you in the closet hoping to protect you but you saw the whole thing." Sean said as tears came to her eyes before wiping them away.
"If you know that then you know what I'm going to do to him." Huntress said.
"I'm hoping this changes your mind. Revenge doesn't do anything believe me from personal experience. It won't bring them back and I doubt Vilgax will have any other magic user cast that spell again." Sean said before spotting someone in the mirror. "Hang on." Sean said driving faster to avoid Sara and Russo.
"Sean, Stop the bike now!" Sara yelled on the comms.
"Stop following us Sara." Sean said before driving up a ramp.
"WHOA!" Huntress yelled before they landed.
"Relax I know how to drive." Sean said before Sara landed behind them. "Both of you turn back." Sean said on the comms.
"Can't do that. J'onn's orders." Sara said.
"Need I remind both of you I give the orders?" Sean asked.
"Given the fact that you're helping Huntress try to kill Mandragora? I think your orders are compromised." Sara said before a train appeared but Sean drove into the next tunnel.
"See ya!" Sean laughed.
"Oh shit." Russo said activating a transporter before both of them vanished from the bike as it crashed into the train.
Both flew over the water by the docks before landing.
"You idiot!" Sara yelled splashing him. "My sister helped me rebuild that bike by hand." Sara said.
"Oh sure. I'm certain the bike was more important than saving our skin." Russo said making her growl and swam away. "And I thought Huntress was unstable." Russo said swimming to shore.
Sean and Huntress were at the docks waiting.
"There are hundreds of ships leaving here a day. If Mandragora is trying to get out of the country how are we supposed to know which one he's on?" Huntress asked.
"Whoever said he was trying to leave the country?" Sean asked.
"Meaning?" Huntress asked.
"I have a theory Mandragora is actually waiting for something to be delivered here. As it so happens one freighter is coming in from his home country." Sean said.
"Really? Lets go." Huntress said.
"Just one second." Sean said walking to the edge. "You two morons gonna come up or what?" Sean asked knowing Russo and Sara were under them.
"Ah shit." Russo said before they climbed up.
"How did?" Huntress tried to say.
"By the skin of our teeth." Sara said glaring at Sean.
"I knew you two would be fine." Sean said grinning.
"This isn't payback for what happened almost 14 years ago is it?" Russo asked.
"Bill I am way past over that shit. But I need the both of you to trust me on this." Sean said making Sara sigh.
"Fine." Sara said.
Mandragora was being driven to the docks before they stopped and one of his men got out and opened his door.
"So what the hell is he waiting for?" Russo asked.
"Take the Guards first. I never said I didn't want him captured." Sean said.
"Copy that." Russo said shooting his men in the head killing them making Mandragora growl before Sara tried to drop kick him but he just grabbed her leg before throwing her into a pile of crates.
"I am really starting to dislike that woman." Huntress said.
"Why? Whats to dislike?" Sean asked.
"I just don't like her." Huntress said.
Mandragora was about to smash Sara when Russo started firing non lethal rounds at him but they didn't even stop him till Sean kicked him into a large pile of crated.
"Since when the hell do even non lethal bullets not stop someone?" Russo asked.
"Don't look at me." Sean said as Mandragora charged at him but Sean with a crystal encased hand punched him back before blasting him with fire but it only burned his shirt off making him growl.
"Mandragora!" Huntress yelled gaining his attention as she aimed her crossbow at him.
"Back to Federal Custody, I suppose." Mandragora said.
"Not gonna happen when your dead." Huntress said about to pull the trigger when.
"Papa!"
Everyone turned and saw a boy looking exactly like Mandragora running to him out of the freighter with two thugs behind him about to shoot had Sean not stabbed on in the chest while Russo snapped the other's neck.
"Edgar!" Mandragora said hugging the boy.
"Hmm?" Huntress said.
"On my last trip to the old country a rival criminal organization kidnapped my son. It took me all this time to arrange his rescue. Rest assured that his captors were taught the error of their ways. All I wanted was for my son and I to disappear together." Mandragora said.
"Huntress. Do you really want history to repeat itself. This is gonna change anything." Sean said as Mandragora had his son move away from him.
"No...It isn't." Huntress said before shooting a one of the lifts holding girders before they came crashing down around him and knocked him out.
Edgar however screamed not from this but from something no one was expecting. Pennywise.
"So much fear!" IT said making Sean roar before grabbing one of the girders and slammed it into his face making him crash into one of the containers.
"I'm ending this now." Sean said before Pennywise roared as he came out and grabbed him before they vanished.
"Where did they go?" Sara asked looking around.
Sean and IT appeared in IT's lair.
Pennywise roared before charging at him only for Sean to punch him hard into a pile of junk.
"Do you really think you can take me all by yourself?" Sean asked.
"Actually yes. But on the off chance I was wrong." Pennywise said before Bowers charged at him only for Sean to grab him by the throat.
"Your both completely out of your league." Sean said before smashing Bowers face into the rubble knocking him out before approaching IT who tried to get out but Sean grabbed him by the leg and started slamming him down face first on the ground and the walls before throwing him into a wall next to a hole.
"It's not fair!" Pennywise sobbed. "I used to be feared till you showed up again!" Pennywise said before Sean kicked him in the face breaking some teeth.
"You think I actually fucking care? You targeted children because your weak. If you were this so called ultimate being you so proudly once called yourself you would have gone after everyone. But no. You could only go after children cause thats easiest prey for you." Sean said.
Pennywise looked at the hole before rolling in and held onto the edge before his face started to break apart.
"I'll be...BACK Kruger! I swear it. One day I will come back...Stronger than ever." Pennywise said as his face broke apart while Sean looked with a blank expression.
"And I'll be waiting." Sean said before Pennwise let go and dropped into the hole to go back into hibernation.
Scoffing Sean approached Bowers who got up and glared at him before grabbing a pipe to hit him with but Sean smacked it aside before grabbing him by the face.
"You truly are to much like Eddie Kim. I'll do to you what you deserve for threatening my son." Sean said throwing him into a pile of garbage.
"NO!" Bowers yelled before Sean grabbed his face.
"Look into my eyes" Sean said using his most famous spell called NIGHTMARE on him.
The others waited before a portal opened and Sean walked through with Bowers over his shoudler before he dropped him down.
"Oh so theres the little cocksucker." Russo said.
"We don't have to worry about the clown anymore. He's back in hibernation." Sean said.
Later
Mandragora was in a Police van to be taken away while Bowers was in an ambulance.
"Mandragora had no intention of ratting anyone out since there is no one left on Earth." Sean said.
"You knew that kid would be here." Huntress said.
"Well duh. Question logged it into his reports when Mandragora was captured." Sean said.
"So why go through all the trouble of making sure I didn't kill anyone?" Huntress asked.
"Why ask questions you already know the answer too?" Sean asked making her blink before smiling at him before pulling him into a kiss.
"Oh for the love of...And you complained about my old love life back in the day!" Russo yelled making Sara laugh.
"Fuck off!" Sean yelled before his phone rang. "Yeah? SHIT!" Sean yelled before opening a portal.
"Let me guess? New little Krugers?" Huntress asked.
"No shit!" Sean yelled running through.
"Oh this should be interesting." Sara said.
Revy screamed as she was in Labor before Sean walked in.
"How's she doing?" Sean asked.
"Ready to deliver." Ann said before Revy grabbed him by the neck.
"YOU DID THIS TO ME! YOU FUCKING MOTHERFUCKING COCKSUCKER!" Revy roared.
"Oh sure blame the father." Sean said.
Revy screamed as she was in the process of giving birth. After one loud scream she heard crying.
"Heres the first." Ann said taking the first born away before handing her to another nurse.
"ARGH! I'm gonna kill you for this!" Revy yelled.
"Uh huh. Sure." Sean said making her glare before she started pushing again before roaring loudly before another soft crying was heard.
"Here we go." Ann said taking her away.
Revy sighed in relief that it was all over.
"You ok?" Sean asked.
"Let me put it as best I can without cursing in front of them. I would rather take another sword to the knee." Revy said making him laugh before the first baby girl was handed to them and Revy held her before she actually started crying holding her daughter. "Jiaying." Revy said.
"Hmm? Why that name?" Sean asked.
"It was the name of my mother." Revy said. (I don't think her name was ever said so I picked one one from a site I found)
Jiaying opened her eyes looking at her parents showing she had her father's forest green eyes and babbled making Revy smile before kissing her.
Soon the second daughter was handed to them.
"What are you gonna name this one?" Sean asked as she opened her eyes and also had her father's eyes and laughed.
"Hmm. How does Maya sound?" Revy asked making the now named Maya laugh making both Parents smile.
"I think we can take that as a yes." Sean said making her laugh as she held both her daughters before they fell asleep in their mother's arms making Revy smile.
Later
"So hows she doing?" Huntress asked Sean as they walked the halls of the Watch Tower.
"She's still recovering. But she'll be fine. I guess we had three victories today. Mandaragora is in a cell and he ain't getting out. IT is back in hibernation and wont come back out for 27 years and Bowers is in an insane asylum." Sean said.
"Asylum? Why?" Huntress asked.
"My spell might have made him lose his sanity. Although whatever was left of his sanity was already long gone due to his own actions." Sean said.
"And now you got two more kids at home." Huntress said making him smile.
"Yeah. I think this will finally make Revy forget about her past on focus on their future to make sure they don't experience what she did as a kid." Sean said.
Vilgax may still be a threat but the future was still looking bright each day.
Authors Note: And now two more Krugers to the family tree. Pennywise is back in hibernation and wont be around for some time and Bowers is locked away where he belongs.
