Hey there. I've decided to discontinue "To Protect Lost Innocence" and I feel like I owe you all an explanation. I think I'm done trying to write SYOCs. I enjoy thinking about where the story could go and planning out threads but I don't enjoy writing the story itself. I feel like I'm writing on other people's time and I had the realization today that I don't want to subject myself to other people's expectations if I don't have to. And the simplest part is: I want to write my own stories, come up with my own worlds even if that's the very reason I wanted to write SYOCs in the first place; practice writing without having to worry about everything that comes with a story. And I want to release your character(s) back to you. You took a lot of time and put a lot of thought into you characters and I want to honor that. So the least I can do is not keep them in SYOC jail. I might still write regular fanfiction but I think I'm finished with SYOCs. I already messaged some of you on Discord but I felt like it'd be easier to just publish a single 'chapter to inform the rest of you. Thank you for your understanding.
