Chapter 143 SKYRIM
"Oh all the fucking! Movies and books I can take but a universe based on a video game?" David asked. (Technically Gears of War and Army men are based on video games)
"I take it you've both played this game before?" Maw asked.
"Yup. Rhonda actually got this for me as Christmas present. Thought it would give me something to do like normal people." Sean said making Talbot chuckle remembering when his wife did that.
"I see. What exactly is this video game?" Thanos asked.
"It's a medieval game. You know knights, elves, dragons shield and swords. Basically one of top lures for kids with the lust for violence and adventure. And Nerds." Sean said looking at Sally.
"Excuse me?" Sally asked insulted making him laugh.
"I'm just messing around. I know thats not you're thing. Anyway I can only assume I know why the Regime is there." Sean said.
"And that is?" Thanos asked.
"Like Maw said its rich with metals and materials. Iron, Ebony, Gold, Silver and various other things to mine. My guess is whatever materials they need there are for some grand project." Sean said.
"Ok so they're strip mining this universe for materials. Thats much I can get. But what about soldiers? Like the 300 universe this place is primitive by thousands of years." David said.
"Hmm." Sean said. "We'll have to get a personal opinion from the natives. Prepare the troops." Sean said.
"With pleasure." Maw said.
Later
The people of Skyrim were in pure hell since the Regime arrived. Stripped of their freedom and their rights and made into slaves.
The entire kingdom was but a shell of what it once used to be. Everyone no matter what race or religion were complete slaved of the Regime and forced into the mines in each area.
Even worse the High Elves of the Aldmeri dominion had aligned themselves with the Regime increasing their ranks even more.
The leader of Windhelm Ulfric Stormcloak was currently on his knees about to face execution for trying to stand up to the Regime but ultimately failed. His right hand man Galmar Stone-Fist was on the ground next to him to be executed next.
"You have caused the Regime enough trouble as it is." Brother Blood said.
"One day all of Skyrim will be free from your Regime." Ulfric said making him laugh.
"Once we have all we need we'll have no further use for anyone here as slaves." Blood said before a portal opened up. "What?" Blood said before Sean charged in and slammed his foot into his chest making him fly into a wall.
Quickly freeing Ulfric and Galmar they grabbed a weapon.
"Freedom! For Skyrim!" Ulfric yelled getting the people to cheer as they rebelled against the Regime.
"Get any civilians to safety. Blood is mine." Sean said charging at him.
"With Pleasure." Ulfric said as he and Galmar helped their people.
Sean and Blood continued to fight before Blood jumped away before a portal appeared.
"Another time Kruger." Blood said as he left.
"GRRR!" Sean growled annoyed before checking on the others.
Soon the Legion had full control of the area.
"You have my thanks for freeing my people." Ulfric said shaking Sean's hand.
"It's my job. We would have come sooner but regretfully we had no idea where the Regime was till now. How long have they been here?" Sean asked.
"About almost 2 years." Galmar said.
"I figured as much." Sean said.
"Why are these monsters here?" Ulfric asked.
"They call themselves the Regime. The worst of the very worst work for this organization. We're under the belief they are here to strip the mine the land for elements like Ebony and Iron. This place is extreamly rich with ore." Sean said.
"So we've noticed. All the other cities have been under their control since they arrived. General Tullius and I both tried to cast them out for the greater good of Skyrim but we failed. He's held in Solitude. And the Dragon born is being held in Riften." Ulfric said.
"What about the others?" Sean asked.
"We know for a fact some of the other strong holds have been abandoned since they arrived. My suggestion is we must liberate some of the strong holds that are closer to here." Ulfric said.
"Attacking one by one will take too long. I have another idea. A coordinated assault. You and I will lead the attack on Riften to free this Dragon born. Who is he?" Sean asked.
"Draco and he was the only one who managed to stand against them the longest before being captured." Ulfric said.
"Then thats where we go first. With him on our side our odds are that much higher." Sean said.
"Agreed. Galmer, you will assist our new allies while we free Draco and Riften." Ulfric said.
"It will be done." Galmer said.
Later
A couple of Locust were guarding the front entrance of Riften. (To my most Loyal guest reviewer just because they don't have a queen does not mean they are useless)
Suddenly however a dozen arrows were fired at them making them grunt before falling down dead.
"That was too easy." Sean said before the ground shook making them look up and saw two Obsidian Fury Jaegers walking to them. "Of course even with the Kaiju gone they still have something that big." Sean said before opening a portal as Komodo and Zilla rushed in and started battling the giants.
"FORWARD!" Ulfric yelled as they charged through the gates and fought against the Regime forces.
Draco was held up in the center of town before Sean walked to him.
"Well, thats just degrading. A cell would suffice instead of this kind of humiliation." Sean said.
"You care to let me down?" Draco asked before Sean used his blades to cut him loose. "Thank you." Draco said rubbing his wrests.
Suddenly however Storm Shadow appeared.
"Hello Kruger." Storm Shadow said twirling his blades.
"You want him or should I?" Sean asked.
"I'm not up to full strength yet so you take him." Draco said. (Just FYI picture him as his poster image from Wiki called the Last Dragonborn)
"Fair enough." Sean said as his hands became crystal blades before attacking him with perfect strikes.
Ulfric was battling against Green Goblin who laughed at him before he jumped on his glider.
"You can't stop us Little man. The Regime owns this world now." Green Goblin said before flying away.
"For now." Ulfric said
Sean continued to battle against Storm shadow when he managed to kick him over a railing into the water before he rushed over to see he was gone making him growl.
Later
"That went well." Ulfric said.
"Most of the strong holds are under our control right now. The only ones still under Regime control are Winterhold and solitude." Sean said before three people approached them.
"I'm afraid our problems are only going to get worse."
"Who are you?" Sean asked.
"They are with the Thieves guild." Ulfric said.
"We may be thieves but we're not senseless killers. My name is Brynjolf. These are my partners Delvin and Vex. Our former Guild master Mercer sided with the Regime and gave them everything we had. Gold, Silver and Jewels. He even gave them layouts to every city such as hidden passages. The Regime will most likely close those off." Brynjolf said.
"No matter we can simply use portals to get in and out of the cities." Sean said.
"And what about Mercer. Son of a bitch screwed us over big time. We may be thieves but we don't kill like that unless we have no choice." Vex said.
"We'll get to him in time. If I recall there are other groups in Skyrim that may help us out. What about the Dark brother hood?" Sean asked.
"We're connected to them. Astrid was the leader of the Dark brotherhood. But when the Regime attacked all but her were wiped out. I think she's in Winterhold. She'll do anything to get justice for her old family." Delvin said.
"What about the mines? The Regime are still mining for ore and materials." Ulfric said.
"I'll leave that to you. Do whatever you can but make sure no innocent bystanders are caught in the middle." Sean said leaving with Draco and Maw.
"It will be done." Ulfric said.
At Winterhold
The people were being held hostage by the Regime.
Ever since they arrived the whole place was one giant prison since they had to mine day and night even children for ore.
One of the guards looked over the prisoners before his eyes landed on a woman with a sick grin making her widen her eyes before an arrow pierced his head making everyone look and saw Draco and Sean on the wall guarding the city before the gates were burst down and people from Skyrim and the Legion burst through.
Sean pulled out his blades of Chaos before slashing some of the Regime troops with ease while the troops rescued the civilians.
Suddenly Darth Maul jumped down in front of him.
"You again. I kill you once and I can kill you again." Sean said.
"Not this time Kruger!" Maul yelled as they charged at each other.
Ahsoka rushed through the crowd cutting down her enemies with swift and accurate strikes before landing on her feet.
"I take it back. Staying on the Forerunner home world does have some benefits from all that studying." Ahsoka said before fighting against Ventress who roared at her before Legion Mandalorian troops flew in and started blasting the Regime troops.
Sean and Maul continued to battle before Sean sliced his lightsaber in half making him jump back and growled.
"Another day Kruger!" Maul yelled as he and Ventress pulled back.
"Cowards." Sean said.
Soon everyone was free from the Regime.
"That leaves only one city left. Solitude." Sean said.
"It will be heavily fortified. I tried my best to breach the city but failed. And with all the passage ways sealed off it will be that much more difficult." Draco said.
"Last time you tried alone. This time you'll have an army to lead and one that matches the Regime's" Sean said.
"I certainly hope thats enough."
Sean turned and saw two women approaching him.
"Astrid and Aela if I recall correctly." Sean said.
"So your the one who's leading the charge against this Regime. Wish you had come sooner. All the great things about Skyrim have been destroyed. And those damned elves are now supporting them." Aela said.
"We still need to free the rest of the land before we mount an offense against Solitude." Astrid said.
"I agree. We also need to stop their mining operation. Whatever they're building with these materials I can assure will cause nothing but trouble in the future." Sean said before an alert came up.
"Most of the mines have been cleared. However we have a situation here." Ulfric said.
"Ahh. When do we not?" Sean asked.
Later
"What the hell?" Sean said seeing creatures known as Giants entering the largest mountain in Skyrim and pulling out large amounts of metals and materials with them in carts.
"I knew the Regime was cruel but to use giants like this is insulting." Ulfric said.
"What are they doing?" Ahsoka asked.
"They are mining the mountain. As it would appear the mountain called the throat of the world has the largest amount of ore to be found. And apparently their using the Giants to do all the heavy lifting." Vex said.
"But why? Why not not just use regular people?" Ahsoka asked.
"Carrying out more of whats inside at a faster rate. And not just them." Sean said looking at a herd of mammoths pulling out even larger carts.
"This is cruel." Arela said seething.
"Easy honey. They'll get whats coming to them." Sean said before he looked ahead and spotted someone who pissed him off. "Rawlings." Sean said glaring at him.
"Wait a minute that name sounds familiar." Ahsoka said.
"It should. You recall the agent of the CIA who screwed me over? Thats him. I was so hoping he was not one of the people Faust revived from the dead." Sean said.
"You mean like a necromancer." Astrid said.
"No. A man named Felix Faust casted a spell called the Balance breaker. It brings back both good and bad people but it has to be partially evened out for it to work." Sean said.
"And he's one of them. Clearly you two have bad history." Galmar said.
"You have no idea. The others are yours. He's mine." Sean said.
Rawlings was talking with Black Mask in hologram form.
"These giants are beginning to feel weak and running out of energy." Rawlings said.
"No matter. We have more than enough to complete the project. We're in the process of pulling out since the Legion arrived." Black Mask.
"What now! We can take them if we..." Rawlings tried to say.
"You have not changed even a little." Sean said walking to him gaining his attention.
"YOU!" Rawlings yelled glaring at him.
"I enjoyed killing the first time 14 years ago. I am going to enjoy it even more when I make you suffer!" Sean yelled before a knife was thrown at him in the arm making him growl before turning and saw the original Joker.
"Hello Kruger. Did you miss me?" Joker asked.
"Like the plague. I have no business with you. She on the other hand." Sean said before Harley smacked Joker with her mallet.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Harley yelled.
"Those two have some issues to work out. Now where was I? Oh yeah." Sean said as Venom took over and licked his chops. "Don't eat him though since I'm sure he'll give you indigestion." Sean said.
"Like I would eat royal garbage like him." Venom said as he approached Rawlings who backed up in fear.
"Uh oh. SECURITY!" Rawlings yelled before Bane rushed in and both ended up in a deadlock.
"It was your fault that Me and Penguin were killed by your brother last time Kruger. This time I will kill you and your parasite." Bane said.
"PARASITE!?" Venom roared. (I don't know why but that makes me laugh every time)
"Yes and an ugly one." Bane said making him roar before slamming him down a few times before throwing him at the mountain.
Rawlings was quick to run away before opening a portal and vanished.
"Damn." Sean said as he took over before hearing a terrified scream making him look and saw Joker with his face bleeding from the beating Harley gave him.
"I'm gonna kill you for the hell you gave me!" Harley yelled.
"CURSE YOU KRUGER!" Joker yelled as he opened a portal and vanished making Harley seethe in anger.
"Ahh." Sean said annoyed as Bane also left.
Taking off the shackles off the giants and mammoths they simply walked away to recover from their trauma.
"Poor things." Harley said.
"They will recover in time. Now we can begin our assault on Solitude." Ulfric said.
"Hey wait a minute. Where are all the dragons?" Sean asked not seeing on since they got here.
"When the Regime arrived they all left. Funny thing is after I killed the world eater thats when they arrived. The Regime also captured the grey beards." Draco said.
"Great." Sean said annoyed.
"Lets get this over with. I want to free this place as soon as possible." David said.
Minutes Later
The city of Solitude was heavily guarded by the Regime.
Currently inside was Black Mask and the others in this universe and their new allies explaining the situation to Vilgax.
"What do you mean you have no choice but to pull all our forces out of this universe!" Vilgax asked in anger.
"Lord Vilgax I hate to say this but this universe is no longer under our control. The Legion arrived and has liberated every city and destroyed our mining operation." Black Mask said.
"ARGH! Very well...Pull all our forces back. While I hate to lose one of our most treasured assets we were going to leave this universe eventually." Vilgax said before ending his transmission.
"Shame I really liked this place much more compared to the last one." Joker said before multiple explosions occurred outside.
"Oh what now?" Rawlings asked before the front gate was blown down before the Legion rushed in.
"CHARGE! FOR THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF SKYRIM!" Ulfric yelled.
Sean went right after the leaders before finding them.
"Kruger. You never fail to impress." Black Mask said.
"I would have thought you idiots would have learned your lesson after dying." Sean said before he was blown back by some shout into a wall. Looking up he saw a man in strange armor above him before jumping down. "Miraak if I recall correctly." Sean said remembering this man from the video game.
"The mighty Kruger. I was expecting someone of your reputation..." Miraak said.
"So help me god if you say older I'm gonna lose it." Sean said annoyed making him chuckle.
"No matter. This universe belongs to me." Miraak said before a shadow appeared above them.
"What?" Bane asked before several Dragons appeared and attacked the Regime.
"ARGH! Do something!" Rawlings yelled only for more dragons to start breathing fire and other elements at them.
"GRRRR! Your lucky you outnumber us! Next time I will destroy you!" Miraak yelled as the group rushed through a portal.
"The most Arrogant thing anyone's ever said to me." Sean said before the people started cheering.
Later
After the Regime had pulled out the people began to rebuild.
"The People of Skyrim and Tamriel owe you a debt of gratitude for saving us." General Tulius said shaking Sean's hand.
"It's my job. But this isn't over. There are more universes where the Regime occupy their inhabitants. And whatever reason the Regime strip mined this place for I have a bad feeling about whatever weapon they are planning to make." Sean said.
"Indeed. And as long as the Dominion are with the Regime. We shall offer our assistance." Ulfric said.
"I'm glad to hear it." Sean said.
"Still I'm concerned as to what the regime needed all these materials for. They are clearly building something." Maw said.
"Yeah I agree. Whatever their building must require not only finances but a large amount of resources to build." Sean said.
Meanwhile
"YOU FAILED!" Vilgax roared at Black Mask and Rawlings.
"It wasn't our fault. We only had enough man power to keep the natives of that universe in check. We didn't expect the Legion to find us so soon." Black Mask said.
"Then why did you not simply call for backup when they first arrived?" Vilgax asked.
"Um..." Black Mask tried to say before he was swatted into a wall by Vilgax.
"Fool! Thanks to your incompetence we have lost valuable resources for our project." Vilgax said.
"With respect Lord Vilgax we still have more than enough to complete the project." Cade Bane said.
"Perhaps. Nevertheless I want everyone to report any Legion activity in any universe we are in control of or trying to control. We can not afford any more mistakes." Vilgax said.
Authors Note: I always loved this game for the last 8 years. So many opportunities in this game and Loved the Remastered version with all the Bugs fixed. Now Next Chapter I think one of the Godzilla the series episodes should be next. One where a certain French agent makes an appearance again. Also Next Chapter might also have a lemon.
