That night, Lana arrived at a graveyard on a horse holding a bouquet of flowers. She got off the horse and started walking until she heard something. She turned to where she heard the noise come from. She looked around worried. "Who's there" she called out.

"It's me" Clark said coming into view. "Clark" Clark said.

"Clark Kent" Lana asked in disbelief. What was he doing here. "What are you doing creeping around the woods" Lana asked walking closer to him.

"You'd never believe me if I told you. Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" Clark said. He started to walk away.

"Clark, wait" Lana said walking over to him. He stopped walking. "Just wasn't expecting to see anyone out here. Are you OK" Lana asked.

"I'm hanging out in a graveyard. Does that strike you as OK behavior" Clark asked.

"Hey, I'm here too" Lana said.

"Good point. What's your story" Clark asked.

Lana walked in front of Clark. "Can you keep a secret" she asked.

"I'm the Fort Knox of secrets" Clark said.

Lana smiled at him. "I…came out here to talk with my parents" Lana said. Clark looked at her confused. "You must think I'm pretty weird, conversing with dead people" Lana said walking away from Clark.

"I don't think you're weird, Lana" Clark said. Lana looked over at him. She smiled at him again. "Do you remember them" Clark asked.

She looked away from him. "They died when I was 3" Lana answered.

"I'm sorry" Clark said.

Lana looked back at him again. "It's not your fault, Clark. Come on, I'll introduce you" she said. She took Clark's hand and led him over to her parent's grave. "Mom, Dad? This is Clark Kent. Say hi" Lana said looking at Clark. Clark waved at the grave awkwardly and Lana let out a little laugh.

Lana knelt down. "Yeah, he is kind of shy" Lana said. Clark also knelt down. Lana put the flowers down at the front of the grave. "How should I know" Lana asked. Lana turned to Clark. "Mom asks if you're upset about a girl" Lana said. Clark shook his head. "Dad asks if it's about a boy" Lana said.

"No, no" Clark said quickly.

Lana laughed. "He has a twisted sense of humor" she said smiling at him. Clark smiled back at her and looked down. "Seriously, Clark. Why are you out here" Lana asked.

"Ever feel like your life was supposed to be something different" Clark asked.

Lana nodded. "Sometimes I dream I'm at school, waiting for Nell to pick me up but she doesn't come. My parents drive up and they're not dead, they're just really late. I get in their car and we drive back to my real life in Metropolis. That's when I wake up and for a minute, I'm totally happy" Lana explained.

"Until I realize I'm still alone" Lana finished.

Clark looked at the grave. "What's that, Mrs. Lang" Clark asked. Lana looked over at him. "Yeah, I'll tell her" Clark said looking at Lana. "She wants you to know you're not alone. That she's always looking over you. No matter what" Clark said. Lana smiled at him. "What's that Mr. Lang? Your dad thinks you're a shooing for homecoming queen" Clark said. They smiled at each other.

"They really say all that" Lana asked.

"Oh yea. Quite chatty once you get them started" Clark said. Lana smiled a big smile at Clark. Maybe there was more to Clark Kent then she originally thought.

Clark and Lana left the graveyard and they walked to Lana's house. "Thanks for walking me home" Lana said.

"Beats creeping around the woods" Clark said.

"I realize this is the longest conversation we've ever had. We should do it again" Lana said.

They stopped walking and Clark looked at her. "Yea we should" he said. Lana just smiled at him. "So are you going to the dance" Clark asked.

"Yea with Whitney" Lana said.

"Right of course" Clark said really embarrassed that he forgot about Whitney.

"How about you" Lana asked.

"Nah figured I'd sit it out" Clark said.

"Oh I figured you would be going with that girl from yesterday. What was her name again" Lana asked.

Clark thought for a second. What girl was she talking about? Then it hit him. "Lois" he asked surprised.

Lana nodded. "That was her name" she said.

"Me and Lois? There's no way. We're just barely friends. She's bossy, she's stuck up and she's rude. I can't stand her" Clark said quickly.

Lana smiled at him. "The best ones always start that way" she said. He didn't say anything to that. "If you change your mind about going to the dance, I might save you a dance" she said. She walked over and gave Clark a kiss on the cheek. "Good night, Clark" Lana said. Clark smiled and watched as Lana walked away. She turned back and smiled at him. She walked away. Clark smiled and walked to his house. Unbeknownst to them they were being watched. On the porch of Lana's house Whitney stepped into the light. He watched Clark walk away. The anger inside him growing. He didn't know what was going on between Clark and Lana but he was going to find out.

Across town, Oliver sat at a bar. He took a sip of the drink he ordered and looked at the envelope in his hand. He wanted to open it but was scared about what he might find inside. What if it wasn't good? What if his biological parents never wanted him? What if they were happy to get rid of him? Whatever was in this envelope his parents shouldn't have lied to him for his whole life. "Oliver" Oliver heard his name being called and turned around and saw Felicity standing there.

Oliver smiled at her. "Thanks for coming" he said.

She sat down next to him. "Of course. I got your message you sounded really upset. What's wrong" she asked.

"I just needed someone to talk to who isn't my parents" Oliver said.

Felicity looked at him confused. "About what" she asked.

Oliver put the envelope in front of her. "It's from my biological parents" he explained.

"Where did you find it" Felicity asked.

Oliver took another sip of his drink. "Apparently my adoptive parents knew who my biological parents were this whole time. They were friends with them" Oliver said the anger continuing to rise up in him.

"Are you sure" Felicity asked.

Oliver nodded and pulled out the photo his father gave him and gave it to her. "That's dad with my biological parents. They lied to me my whole life" Oliver said.

Felicity looked at the photo closely. "Wait I've seen those people before" she said.

Oliver nodded. "Robert and Laura Queen. Mom and Dad" Oliver said.

Felicity looked at him shocked. "You're their son" she said.

"Apparently it was too dangerous for them to keep me at least that's what my adoptive father told me" Oliver said.

Felicity put a comforting hand on Oliver. "Oliver I know you're mad at your parents but…" Felicity started to say.

"They're not my REAL parents. They're just two people who lied to me" Oliver said.

Felicity shook her head. "That's not true. They raised you since you were a baby and they love you" Felicity said.

Oliver scoffed. "Sure they do. They have a funny way of showing it" he said.

Felicity sighed. "Look Oliver. I don't know why your parents lied to you but it has to be for a good reason. They wouldn't just lie to you for no reason" Felicity said.

Oliver looked over at her. "How would you know" he asked.

"I know your parents. Jonathan and Martha Kent are two of the best people I've ever met and they love you and Clark more then anything. There is no way they would just lie to you for no reason. They probably thought they were doing what was best for you. Which is probably why your biological parents gave you to them" Felicity said.

Oliver thought for a moment. "You think" he asked.

Felicity smiled at him and nodded her head. "Trust me, some of us wish they had parents like Jonathan and Martha Kent" Felicity said. Oliver looked at her sadly. He didn't know much about her parents. He never met really met them. All Felicity told him was that they were the kind of people who shouldn't have been parents. Felicity picked up the envelope. "Why haven't you opened it yet" she asked.

Oliver shrugged. "I'm kind of scared to see what's inside there. What if my parents didn't want me or what if they were happy to get rid of me" he said.

Felicity handed him the envelope and photo. "You'll never know if you don't see for yourself and if it really is that bad you'll always have me to talk to. Although I do think you should talk to your parents" Felicity said.

Felicity looked at her phone. "I should get going. I start my new job at the high school tomorrow" she said.

Oliver looked at her shocked. "Wow. You're working at the high school" he said.

"Yea as an assistant teacher for the new chemistry teacher" she said.

"Well congratulations" Oliver said.

"Thanks. Now that me and Lex are moving to Smallville I need a job and I figured the school would be the best place for me where I could really use my talents" she said.

"Your talents have always been bigger then Smallville. You've always been bigger then Smallville" Oliver said. They smiled at each other that love and care for each other still very apparent. "Be careful around Lex" Oliver said.

Felicity just shook her head. "Lex isn't a bad person. I know you had a bad experience with him but he's not a bad person. Good night Oliver" Felicity said.

"Good night" Oliver said. Felicity left the bar.

Oliver looked down at the envelope in his hands. Felicity was right. No matter what the truth was he had to know. He took a deep breath and opened the envelope. He took out the letter and started to read.

Oliver,

If you're reading this we imagine Jonathan and Martha told you everything they knew. Sorry we couldn't be there to tell you the truth but we know Jonathan and Martha have given you a loving home and kept you safe which was the most important thing. They are the best people we know. Oliver this is your father, I've made mistakes in my life and choices that led to mine and your mother's fate. You were not one of the mistakes I made in life. I know finding out the truth is hard and I wish we could be there to explain everything to you ourselves but unfortunately that's not in the cards for us. Hopefully you're at an age where you can understand the importance of choices and how those choices affect us and the people around us. The choices I made led to mine and your mother's fate and we accept that. In that chest are the answers you're looking for. Oliver this is your mother, you're father was a great man but he made a lot of enemies. If we could choose, we would choose for you not to follow in your father's footsteps but if Jonathan and Martha have raised you the way I think they did you're going to be a strong independent man who makes his own choices so we want you to decide for yourself. If you decide to go down the path your father did everything you need to know is in that chest. We hope you choose a different path for yourself but if you don't know we still love you and support you. Trust Jonathan and Martha. Don't shut them out even if that is your first instinct. We love you and want you to know you are not alone no matter how you feel. You have incredible people in your life.

Love, Mom and Dad

Oliver sat there reading the letter over and over again not realizing there was a tear falling from his eye. "Hey Oliver are you OK" the bartender asked.

Oliver looked up at the bartender and realized he had tears in his eyes and wiped his eyes. He let out an awkward laugh. "Yea I'm fine Jim. Thanks" Oliver said taking out his wallet and throwing a twenty on the bar. He walked out to his car and opened the trunk. He looked at the chest. He remembered what his father said in the letter. After about a minute he shut the trunk got in his car and drove.

Oliver ended going back home. Oliver got out of his car. He took a deep breath and walked into the house. He saw his parents and Clark sitting at the kitchen table. Martha ran up and hugged him. "Thank god you're OK. We were so worried. You weren't answering your phone" she said.

"Yea sorry about that. I just needed some time by myself" he said.

Martha pulled back from him and looked at her son. "We are so sorry we lied to you. We were just trying to…" she started to say.

"Protect me. Yea I know" he said.

"Where were you" Clark asked.

"I just needed sometime to think" he said sitting down at the table.

"Oliver you know we love you very much and if we could go back and change everything we would" Jonathan said.

Oliver looked at his parents. "I'm not mad at you guys. I mean, I don't like that you lied to me my whole life but I understand" he said taking out the letter.

Oliver put it on the table. "I read the letter and it gave me some perspective" Oliver said. Jonathan looked at the letter then at Oliver and Oliver nodded. Jonathan picked up the letter and started reading it with Martha looking over his shoulder. Clark got up and walked over to his parents and read it superfast. They all looked at Oliver.

"So what was in the chest" Clark asked.

Oliver took out the key and threw it on the table. "I haven't opened it yet. I thought we could do it together. My parents told me not to shut you guys out. This feels like something we should do together" Oliver said. Jonathan and Martha looked at each other then back to Oliver and nodded their heads. Oliver went out got the chest and walked back inside. He put the chest on the table. He looked at his parents. "Before I open this I wanted to say sorry for how I acted before I left here" he said.

"That's OK" Jonathan said putting a comforting hand on his sons shoulder.

Oliver shook his head. "No it's not. No matter what's in here you both are my parents. This won't change that and I love the both of you so much" Oliver said. Jonathan stood up and both he and Martha hugged Oliver. Oliver looked over at Clark. "Don't worry no matter what's in here you're still my dorky, weird, annoying little brother who I love" Oliver said.

Clark smiled at him. "Don't worry just because I'm an alien from another planet you're still my older, not wiser, slower, less athletic big brother that I love" Clark said.

"Well you do kind of have an advantage with having your alien super speed and I am wiser. I got to say it makes me feel better that you have that advantage over me because that means I am just naturally gifted" Oliver said.

"Sure you are" Clark said.

Oliver smiled at him and ruffled his hair. "Glad you agree squirt" he said.

Clark rolled his eyes and fixed his hair. "Still not funny" he said.

"Kind of funny" Oliver said.

Oliver picked up the key took a deep breath and unlocked the chest. Clark, Jonthan Martha and Oliver all looked inside it. Inside it was a green leather hood with pants and a bow and arrow. Oliver took out the arrows and looked at them. "What was your father Robin Hood" Clark asked.

Jonathan shook his head. "No I think he was someone else who goes around shooting arrows" he said picking up the hood.

"Jonathan do you think Robert was the Green Arrow" Martha asked.

Jonathan nodded. "I think he might've been which does make sense with all the secrecy and him telling us Oliver would be in danger and we had to keep him safe and hidden" he said.

"Wow you're father was The Green Arrow" Clark said.

Oliver nodded. "I guess so" he said. He looked in the chest and saw different files. He took them out and the four of them looked through them.

Oliver saw a man popping up in some pictures along with his dad. "Do you guys know who this man is? He's in a bunch of these pictures with my dad" Oliver asked handing one of the photos to his dad.

"That's Matt Hansen. He was your father's bodyguard and a close friend of his" Jonathan said.

"Where is he now" Oliver asked.

"We don't know. The last time we saw him was on your 5th birthday. He used to always come visit you but that day he said he had to stop visiting you and that it wasn't safe for you. He told us to make sure no one ever found out who you really were. So we kept your identity hidden" Martha said.

Jonathan looked at Martha and Clark. "We'll give you some time" he said. Oliver nodded at him. His parents and brother left the room. He just sat there stunned. He couldn't believe his father was the Green Arrow. Someone killed his parents because of that and he was going to find out who and why.

The next day, Clark found out where Lex was staying and decided to return the car back to him personally. Last night was crazy finding out the truth about him and Oliver. Before Clark left the house, their father told them this family needed each now more then ever and no matter what happened they would stick together as a family. Clark arrived at Luthor Mansion and super sped past all of the security measures. He walked through the mansion. "Hello" he called out walking over to the stairs. No one answered so he walked deeper into the mansion. "Hello" he called out again. He looked around amazed. This place was so huge. He walked into a room and two people who were practicing fencing came in. Clark watched them. The one person pinned the other one against the wall while the other person raised up their hands in surrender.

The person who just lost threw the foil into the wall right next to Clark barely missing him. The person took their helmet off. "Clark" Lex asked. Clark looked between the foil in the wall and Lex. "I didn't see you" Lex said walking over to Clark.

"I buzzed, but no one answered" Clark said.

Lex pulled the foil out of the wall. "How'd you get by the gate" Lex asked.

"If this is a bad time…" Clark started to say ignoring Lex's question.

"No, I think Heiki has sufficiently kicked my ass for the day" Lex said turning to the other person he was fencing with. The woman took off her helmet as Lex walked over to her. He threw his helmet to her which she caught.

"This is a great place" Clark said.

"If you're dead and need it to haunt" Lex said.

"I mean it's roomy" Clark said. Lex walked past Clark out of the room and Clark followed.

"It's the Luthor ancestral home. So my father claims. He had it shipped over from Scotland" Lex said.

"I remember trucks rolled in for weeks. No one ever moved in" Clark said still looking around the mansion in amazement. He walked over to the staircase where Lex was standing.

"He had no desire to live here. He's never been here" Lex said.

"Then why ship it over" Clark asked.

"He could so he did" Lex said. They walked into a room where Felicity was going through some boxes. Lex walked up behind her and gave her a quick kiss.

"How was your fencing lesson" she asked.

"Well I got my ass beat" Lex said.

"Oh that sucks. You'll get them next time. I was just wondering what you thought about…" she started to say but stopped herself when someone caught her eye. She looked over at the person standing on the other side of the room.

"Felicity, this is…" Lex started to introduce Clark to her.

"Clark Kent" she said walking over to him and giving him a big hug.

"Hi Felicity" he said.

Lex walked up to them. "You two know each other" he said surprised.

They both nodded. "Yea from when I was dating Oliver. Wow Clark last time I saw you, you were this tall" Felicity said holding out her hand to show how short he used to be.

Clark smiled at her. "Well I've grown a lot since you last saw me. Oliver's back in town. He's staying with me mom and dad" Clark said.

Felicity nodded. "I know I ran into him yesterday" she said.

Lex looked at her surprised. "You did" he asked.

She looked at her fiancé. "Yea we were both at the store and I ran into him while he was picking things up" she said. Lex nodded. "Well I should get going. I guess I'll see you at school" Felicity said.

"School" Clark said.

Felicity looked at him shocked. "Oliver didn't tell you. I'm the new assistant teacher for chemistry class. I'm surprised Oliver didn't tell you" Felicity said.

Clark nodded. "He's got a lot on his mind right now" Clark said.

Felicity nodded. She gave Lex a quick kiss. "It was really good to see you Clark" she said. She looked at Lex. "I'll see you later" she said.

He smiled at her. "Bye" he said. Lex turned to Clark. "Listen Clark. I don't know how much Oliver told you about everything that happened between us but you have to know it's all just one big misunderstanding" Lex said.

"Maybe you should tell that to Oliver" Clark said.

Lex nodded. "I will. How's the new ride" Lex asked taking off his fencing jacket.

"That's why I'm here" Clark said.

"What's the matter? You don't like it" Lex asked putting a towel around his neck.

"No, it's not that. I can't keep it" Clark said.

"Clark, you saved mine and Lois's life. It's the least I can do" Lex said. Clark just looked down. "Your father doesn't like me. Not surprising considering how Oliver feels about me" Lex said. Clark was about to answer when Lex stopped him. "It's OK. I've been bald since I was 9. I'm used to people judging me. Although in Oliver's case, I guess I deserve it in a way" Lex said walking over to the mirror and rubbing his bald head.

"It's not personal. My dad's just not crazy about your dad. Besides Oliver hasn't told our parents about what happened" Clark said.

"Figures the apple doesn't fall far from the tree? Understandable" Lex said. He turned around and looked at Clark. "What about you, Clark? Did you fall far from the tree" Lex asked.

Clark just stood there and didn't answer. "I'd better go. Thanks for the truck" Clark said giving Lex the keys.

Clark went to leave. "Clark" Lex called out. Clark turned around and looked at Lex. "Do you believe a man can fly" Lex asked.

Clark shrugged his shoulders. "Sure, in a plane" Clark said.

Lex shook his head. "I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about soaring with the air beneath you" Lex said.

"People can't fly, Lex" Clark said.

"I did. After the accident, when my heart stopped" Lex said. Clark just continued to look at him without saying anything. "It was the most exhilarating two minutes of my life" Lex said. Clark watched Lex as he explained what he meant. "I flew over Smallville and for the first time…I didn't see a dead end. I saw a new beginning. Thanks to you, I have a second chance" Lex said. Clark still just stood there quietly. "We are the future, Clark" Lex said walking over to Clark. "Nothing will stand in the way of our friendship" Lex said.

At the school, Chloe and Pete met up with Clark and brought him into the library. Chloe pulled out an old yearbook. She opened it and put it on the table in front of Clark and Pete. "Jeremy Creek. This is him 12 years ago. This I took four hours ago" Chloe said showing Clark the photo of Jeremy she took from earlier which was on a computer.

"That's impossible. Must be a kid who looks like him" Clark said.

"I thought he was a twin, until we checked this" Pete said showing Clark his missing persons report.

"He left the state infirmary. He'd been in a coma for years, suffering from electrolyte imbalance" Chloe explained to Clark.

"Hasn't aged a day" Pete said.

"He just woke up" Clark asked.

"There was a storm. The hospital's generator went down and Jeremy vanished" Chloe said sitting down at the computer.

"Electricity charged him up" Pete said.

"He's back, putting former jocks into comas. Why" Clark asked.

"12 years ago today, they chose Jeremy Creek as the scarecrow" Pete said.

Clark picked up a newspaper clipping and read it. "Comatose boy found 20 yards from meteor strike" he read.

Chloe stood up. "The blast must have done something" she said.

"No, this can't be right" Clark said not believing what he was reading. That couldn't be the same meteor shower that brought him here, could it?

Pete walked up to Chloe. "I think you ought to show him" he said.

"Show me what" Clark asked looking at his friends expectantly.

Chloe nodded. "We have to get Felicity" she said. Pete nodded. "Follow us" Chloe said to Clark. He followed them and bumped into someone walking out of the library.

"Lois" Clark said. Lois looked up at him.

"Smallville" she said back. "Can we talk for a second" she asked.

Clark nodded and looked over at Chloe and Pete. "I'll catch up to you guys" he said. Lois walked into the library and Clark followed her. "So what's up" Clark asked.

"How are you OK" she asked.

Now Clark looked at her confused. "What are you talking about" he asked.

"I could have sworn I saw Lex hit you with his car" she said.

"He didn't hit me. I mean I was on the bridge when you guys went off the bridge and I dived in and saved you guys but Lex didn't hit me" Clark lied. Lois just looked at him and for the first time in her life she was speechless. She knew what she saw but how was Clark standing there perfectly fine then. Clark just watched Lois hoping she believed the lie. He put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I'm glad you're OK" he said.

Lois nodded and smiled. "Well I guess I should thank you for saving my life then" she said.

Clark smiled at her. "It was nothing" he said.

Lois punched his shoulder playfully. "See you around Smallville" she said leaving.

Over in the Chemistry lab, Felicity was getting everything ready for the class when there was a knock on the door. "We're almost ready for…" she started to say but then looked up in the doorway and saw who was standing there. "Oliver? What are you doing here" she asked.

Oliver smiled at her and walked into the classroom. "You were right. I read the letter" he said.

Felicity looked at him cautiously. "Are you OK" she asked.

Oliver nodded. "Yea. I talked to my parents and we're good now" he said.

Felicity smiled at him. "That's great" she said. She looked up at the clock. "Not to be rude or anything Oliver but what are you doing here" she asked.

"I won't be long I promise. I just need your help" he said taking the photo of his father and his bodyguard out of his back pocket. He showed it to Felicity. "That was my father's bodyguard, Matt Hansen. I need you to find him for me" Oliver said pointing to the man next to his father in the photo.

Felicity looked up at him. "What" she asked.

"My parents told me was my father's friend. I just want to see if he's still around. Maybe he could tell me about my parents" he said.

Felicity smiled at him then nodded. "OK I'll see what I can find out. I'm going to need the photo if you don't mind" she said.

Oliver nodded. "Of course" he said giving her the photo.

"Thank you for doing this for me. It means a lot" he said.

"You know I'd do anything for you" Felicity said. They stared at each other for a moment both feeling the chemistry they still had. There was a knock on the door that bought them out of their thoughts. They both turned around. At the door was Chloe Sullivan and Pete Ross. Chloe and Pete both looked at Oliver. Clark had told them that Oliver was back in town.

"Oliver welcome back" Pete said.

Chloe nodded her head. "Clark told us you were back in town. So what made you choose to come back here to this backwater town" she asked.

Oliver shrugged his shoulders. "I guess the city didn't agree with me. Besides I missed my parents and Clark" he said as Clark walked into the room.

Clark looked at Oliver shocked. "Oliver what are you doing here" he asked.

"I came to see Felicity. I needed her help with something" he said.

Felicity looked at Chloe, Pete and Clark. "Is there something you three needed" she asked.

Chloe and Pete looked at each other. "We want to show Clark it" Chloe said.

Felicity looked shocked then looked at Oliver. She looked back at Chloe and Pete. "Are you sure" she asked.

Pete nodded. "He should know" he said.

Felicity sighed. "OK. We'll show him" she said. She turned to Oliver. "You should come too. You're going to want to see this" Felicity said. Her, Chloe and Pete walked out of the room and Clark and Oliver looked at each other surprised. The brothers had no idea what was going on.

Felicity led Pete, Clark Oliver and Chloe into a closet. She opened the door and turned on the light. They all walked into the closet. Clark and Oliver looked at the wall surprised. "It started off as a scrapbook and just kind of mutated. Felicity spent the summer helping me and Pete investigate" Chloe said. She looked at Oliver. "She told me about the car crash you guys had when you guys were 16 and some how you guys miraculously survived it" she said.

Oliver looked over at Felicity. "You did" he asked.

She nodded her head. "I've been trying to find out how we survived that night. There is no logical way we could have survived" she said. Oliver and Clark looked at each other. Oliver knew how they survived. Clark saved them. He super sped and got them out of the car before it was totaled with them in it. They were his first save. They promised they would never talk about it ever again. They never told their parents.

Clark looked back at the wall. "What is it" he asked trying to change the subject.

Felicity and Chloe walked up to the wall. "We call it the wall of weird" Felicity said. The wall was covered with a bunch of newspaper clippings about all the weird stuff that happened in Smallville in the last 14 years since the meteor shower hit that apparently brought Clark to earth.

"It's every strange bizarre and unexplained event that's happened in Smallville since the meteor shower hit. That's when it all began. The town went schizo" Chloe said. Clark and Oliver looked at all the newspaper clippings on the wall one strange event after the other.

"What do you think" Chloe asked walking up to Clark.

"Why didn't you tell me about this" Clark asked Chloe walking up to the wall. Oliver walked over to Felicity.

"Do you tell me everything about your life? We all keep secrets" Chloe said walking over to Clark.

Oliver found the article about the car crash. "How long have you been looking into all of this" Oliver asked Felicity without looking at her.

"A couple years. That night changed my life. We drank a little too much and left Carl Mitchell's party a little too drunk and were driving home drunk. We decided to take the backroads home and we didn't see the other car coming until it was too late and we swerved into the woods and the car hit a tree but before it did somehow we were safely out of the car. We should have died that night or got seriously hurt but no nothing not even a scratch. I want to know why" Felicity explained.

Clark continued to look at the wall. His eyes landed on a Time magazine cover with a little girl crying. The caption read "Heartbreak In The Heartland". He looked closely at it. He realized instantly who that little girl was. "Lana" he said. She lost her parents the day of the meteor shower. "My fault" he said. He just stared at the picture. "It's all my fault" Clark said. He ran out of the room. Chloe and Pete just looked at each other.

"Clark" Oliver called after him. He walked over to where Clark was and saw what upset him. Clark blamed himself for Lana's parents death which wasn't true.

"Oliver what's wrong" Felicity asked.

"I have to find Clark" he said running out of the room.

"Oliver wait" Felicity called out running after him. Something was bothering both Oliver and Clark and she needed to figure out what that was.

Clark walked out of the school with a bunch of kids who were cheering. He walked down the stairs and into the parking lot. Someone grabbed his shoulder. Clark rolled his eyes. "Oliver I just need some time" he said turning around shocked by what he saw. It wasn't his brother who grabbed his shoulder.

It was Whitney, Lana's boyfriend. Whitney grabbed Clark by the sweater and pulled him close. "Congratulations Clark" Whitney said. Clark just glared at him. He really wasn't in the mood for this right now. "You're this years scarecrow" Whitney said. Two other football players appeared behind Clark.

Clark pushed his hands off him. "Don't mess with me right now" Clark said.

"Come on. Bring it on" Whitney said pushing Clark and taking off his letterman's jacket. Clark's anger was rising. Clark lifted his fist and was about to punch Whitney when all of a sudden he felt really weak. He grabbed Whitney's shirt and pulled it back revealing Lana's necklace. Whitney throws Clark to the floor. Whitney kneels down and roughly grabs Clarks sweater again and pulls him close. "What's going on with you and Lana" Whitney asked.

"Nothing" Clark answered weakly. Whitney roughly pulled Clark closer. Clark's head was spinning and it was taking everything for him to stay conscious. Clark looked at the necklace around Whitney's neck.

Whitney noticed and looked at the necklace also. He pulled at the necklace. "Like her necklace? Huh" Whitney asked and pulled the necklace off his neck. "Good, because it's as close as you'll ever get to her" he said putting it around Clark's neck. The pain was becoming unbearable for Clark. A pickup truck drove up to the scene. The other football players ran up and helped Whitney lift Clark and throw him into the back of the pickup. They jumped in the back with Clark and drove off not aware that they were being watched by Jeremy Creek. As they drove off Jeremy left.

Just then Oliver and Felicity ran out of the school into the parking lot. "Oliver please wait can you tell me why you and Clark were so upset" she asked grabbing his shoulder.

Oliver ignored her and took out his phone and called Clark. It went straight to voicemail. "Clark I know what you're thinking just call me back please" Oliver said. He hung up the phone. "I got to go find Clark" Oliver said.

Felicity grabbed Oliver's arm. "Wait I want to help" she said.

Oliver finally looked at her. He pulled his arm out of her grasp. "You really want to help" he said. Felicity nodded. "Stop looking into all of the strange occurrences that happened in this town" he said.

Felicity looked at him shocked. "What" she asked.

"Just drop it Felicity. Get Chloe and Pete to stop looking into it too. Just trust me" Oliver said. He walked to his car. "I got to go find Clark" he said again getting into his car and driving away. Felicity stood there shocked. What was Oliver's problem with her looking into the weird things that happened in this town? Then suddenly it hit her. He knows something. Oliver knew how they survived that night and everything that was going on in this town. It was the only thing that made sense. Oliver was keeping secrets from her and she was going to find out what they were.
