Chapter 161 Grudge Match
Sean sighed as he watched Dawn chewing Omi out yet again.
"FOR THE LAST TIME NEITHER ME NOR MY SISTER ARE INTERESTED IN YOU OR YOUR STUPID BALD HEAD!" Dawn roared.
"But I am a better choice. I am a fighter while William is a computer nerd." Omi said smiling making her turn red in anger.
"Uh oh." William said.
"Son you might wanna turn away." Sean said as Dawn turned into her Ghost Rider form and roared loudly at him before she started beating the crap out of him as he screamed in horror.
"Wow. Omi just does not learn." Clay said before wincing seeing him get his fingers broken.
"Oooh." Kimiko said as Omi screamed in pain as she broke his back.
"Shouldn't we stop them?" Kara asked.
"If theres one thing I learned in the last near 30 years of my entire life...Never get in the way of a royally pissed off woman. Especially when she's your sister." Sean said as Omi flew into a wall out cold with his whole body a mess.
"NEXT TIME I WILL KILL YOU!" Dawn roared as she and William left.
"Dude." Sean said picking him up.
"I do not understand. Girls are attracted to those with power are they not?" Omi asked.
"It depends on the guy or girl And no that not entirely true and you've already rubbed her the wrong way with your sexist comments." Sean said.
"I did not rub her at all." Omi said making him sigh.
"Thats not...You still don't understand slang." Raimundo said annoyed.
"Anyway I got other things to deal with. Like why so many of our female members seem to be so exhausted or wounded and can't remember why." Sean said leaving.
Sean soon arrived in his office.
"Hello dear." Roulette said on his desk.
"Hello, Roulette." Sean said smiling as he sat down on his chair.
"You seem troubled. The Regime again?" Roulette asked.
"No, it's several female members of the Legion. They just keep ending up wounded and exhausted and have no idea why. It's getting on my nerves." Sean said.
"Oh. That does sound very troubling. Anyway I didn't come by for a pleasant visit. I came to tell you Money bags is back to his old tricks." Roulette said making him frown.
"Oh brother not again. I get enough complaints about him from my sisters for the crap he pulled in Avalar and the lost Dragon worlds then your old Meta-Brawl arena before you took all the money and let me tear it down." Sean said.
"Well, It lost it's meaning after he took over. Besides these days the Regime has all the more powerful Meta-Human villains so eventually business is gonna dry out." Roulette said.
"True enough." Sean said.
"Besides Since I owned half that building I was in charge of the finances so I could take all that money away anyway." Roulette said.
"Yup." Sean said.
Later
Sarah and Dawn were following Black Canary since after what Sean told them they wanted to know what was up.
"Remind me again. Why are we doing this?" Sarah asked.
"Because something is up and I wanna know whats going on. And if it involves the Regime it could in theory help us end them even sooner and we can relax for a long ass time." Dawn said.
"Oh, Ok." Sarah said.
"Besides I overheard Sean talking with Roulette and apparently Money bags is back." Dawn said.
"Again?" Sarah asked annoyed.
"Mmhmm. And if he's involved in this. I can't wait to kick his ass again." Dawn said.
"Oh I see." Sarah said as they followed her to some stadium.
"Oh great here we go again." Dawn said as they used nano tech to make them so more fancy clothes.
"I hate these kind of clothes. I may be a Lady but I had dressing like one." Sarah said.
"Says the girl who's gotten nothing but straight A's in every class." Dawn said as they made it inside.
Soon they made it to the Arena before sitting down.
"Yup this is just like his last place. Look." Dawn said seeing betting tablets on the chairs.
"Yeah...But who's fighting. Most of the best are either working for the Regime or dead. And Sean would never put us out on display like this." Sarah said as the screens lit up.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to another ultra-exclusive evening of Meta-brawl Glamour slam." Money bags said.
"Oh what is he up to now?" Dawn asked.
Thats when suddenly both Black Canary and Fire appeared shocking them both as they started to fight one another.
"What the hell is going on? Why are they fighting each other?" Sarah asked as they both left.
Later
"THEIR WHAT!" Sean roared on a screen.
"Thats what we saw. Money bags is using them to fight each other to make millions." Sarah said.
"This doesn't make any sense. Money bags is no where near smart enough to pull this shit off." Sean said.
"Maybe the Regime is helping him out. It wouldn't surprise me. After all the only people who have tech that could pull this off is them." Sarah said.
"But what does Grodd get out of it?" Sean asked.
"I don't know. I'd start sending some people here to get some answers." Sarah said before ending transmission before they both got blasted knocking them out.
"How perfect." Money bags said amused above them.
Soon both woke up in the Arena seeing the crowd cheering.
"You fucking assholes." Dawn said.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. I give to you the Kruger Twins Sarah and Dawn Kruger. Kruger's little sisters." Moneybags said making people boo.
"SHUT UP!" Dawn roared shutting them up. "We put our lives on the line to protect you assholes and this the thanks we get? Next time we'll just let you die or worse get..." Dawn tried to say before Sarah covered her mouth.
"Don't say anything they could use against us." Sarah said making her growl.
"Now we have a special event here tonight. A fight to the death. Two Ghost Rider Children...Against." Money bags said as the floor opened up before both Mileena and Kitana came out. "The Daughters of Shao Kahn." Money bags said making people cheer.
"How the hell is he controlling them?" Dawn asked.
Thats when they charged right at them but the girls kept dodging easily thanks to the training Sean put them through.
Thats when Sarah Kicked Kitana's head making her yell as her com link fell out before blowing up.
"Ugh." Kitana said looking around. "Sarah?" Kitana asked.
"Wait...Do you not remember what just happened. You trying to kill me before I..." Sarah tried to say before widening her eyes.
"What?" Kitana asked.
"After I knocked your com piece out. Thats how they're controlling you." Sarah said making them look seeing Dawn fight against Mileena before she used her chain to hold her down before taking it out as it shorted out.
"Huh?" Mileena asked looking around. "Do I wanna know?" Mileena asked.
"Oh this won't do." Money bags said.
"You again?" Kitana asked.
"Oh great." Mileena said before Vixen, Sheyera, Wonder Woman and Black Widow also showed up.
"Oh hell." Dawn said as they fought agains them.
Sarah dodged most of Diana's attacks before using her chain on her to hold her in place and took her com piece out making her look around.
"Do I even wanna know?" Wonder Woman asked.
"It's a long story. Short version is Money bags is using us for profit like the bastard he is." Sarah said as Black Widow was thrown at her making her take the piece out as she looked around.
"Let me guess. Under mind control?" Natasha asked.
"Oh yeah." Sarah said.
It didn't take long for the other two to be set free.
"What are you gonna do now? You're out of the best there is." Dawn mocked.
"Oh. I got one more." Moneybags said as the floor opened up.
And surprise. Carol Danvers appeared.
"Oh this might be a problem." Natasha said.
Carol charged right at them as she locked onto Diana.
"We need to end this by getting to him." Dawn said.
"Right." Sarah said as she used her chain to break the glass as they jumped out.
Money bags screamed as he went to his safe.
"I gotta get out of here!" Money bags yelled getting everything he could.
"And just where do you think you're going?" Sean asked shocking him as he punched him outside.
Money bags whimpered as he stood up about to leave when Dawn grabbed him making him scream.
"How are you controlling her?" Dawn asked.
"Theres a controller in my office!" Money bags yelled as Sean found it before crushing it.
Carol was just about to smash Vixen and Hawkgirl heads together when she stopped seeing what she was doing.
"There better be a good explanation for this." Carol said.
Later
Everyone who attended this little even was arrested and charged for their crimes of allowing this to happen and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
As for Money bags.
He was sentenced to life in prison for his actions of using the Women of the Legion to make a profit by making them fight against their will.
"So the Regime had nothing to do with this?" Sarah asked.
"Nope. He just hired some nobodies to hack into our coms and use them to control Diana and the others to fight each other. As for the people they'll be in jail for a long time and this time the next time this does happen it'll be much worse." Sean said.
"Seriously. We got through that war and they want to see us like that." Dawn said.
"Yeah. You're always gonna find someone like that." Sean said.
Right now though.
Money bags was sobbing as he was in his cell.
In his mind he blamed the girls for his downfall in life.
"I wish those girls never showed up in Avalar." Money bags said.
"Oh really." Dawn said making him shriek as she was right outside his cell. "You know I haven't forgotten all that crap you pulled on us in Avalar and the Lost dragon worlds. Always charging us so much just to make a buck while everyone else suffered. Even sold to Ripto and the Sorceress." Dawn said.
"That first one was against my will I might add. And it was just good business. It's not my fault people hate your family so much for making it hard to make extra cash." Money bags said.
"You know what...I'm gonna shove my foot so far up your ass it'll come out your mouth and break your teeth." Dawn said opening his cell as she slowly approached him.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Money bags screamed.
Meanwhile
Lena was meeting with everyone left of the Regime.
"This is all thats left?" Lena asked.
"What did you expect? Grodd used up about half of us and our remaining resources for his own stupid ideals that only benefited himself." Eddie Kim said.
"Figures." Lena said getting in front of everyone. "Ok...I'll be blunt with everyone here...We're officially in over our heads. We have a chance to come back in later years...But because of Grodd...Our chances of surviving are next to not possible." Lena said.
"So what the hell are we supposed to do? Just wait decades before we can have another chance against Kruger?" Rawlings asked.
"No...There is one way we can make all our sacrifices worth while." Lena said with the book of Destiny.
"We already tried that." Danzo said.
"Without that key we're never gonna open it." William Dunbar said glaring.
"And that is why I'm making this very bold move." Lena said.
"And just what is that?" Kakuzu asked.
"Mount a full scale invasion on Legion HQ." Lena said making everyone narrow their eyes.
Authors Note. Yeah I liked the Episode better but since roulette is good here thats not gonna happen. Now Next Chapter is the Regime's last stand. This one is gonna be seriously intense and full of surprises. Also I wanna say this. Once I get my Avatar of Justice Story finished I'll be taking a break till...October writing my other stories and making some new ones. This way I can also work on the Chapters for that story ahead of time and work on old stories I've been neglecting for some time because I've been so focused on the Legend of Korra series since I've finished 7 stories in three years.
