Chapter 163 DarkGax

It's been a month since the final battle with the Regime with only a small handful escaping them in that battle. (Sora Zola and Destro were captured during the war on Olympus Check Chapter 151 in the captured list)

Fortunately their plans had completely backfired since Lena used them no different than Grodd and her plans to prevent Sean's family linage from being born but failed since Amara who made the book put a failsafe in it to prevent those who had dark intentions from ever using it.

Now things were peaceful beyond anyones dreams since with only a small handful who were of no concern without massive armies and the likes of which the Regime was nearly completely over.

Right now however though.

Brandon was running as fast as he could as he avoided bullets.

"SHIT!" Brandon yelled as he jumped over a log making his way through a forest.

However thats when his Leg was caught by a trap rope.

"WHOA!" Brandon yelled as he was held upside down.

Thats when he heard laughing as Sean and other Legion members came out.

"Remind me again. Why the hell am I doing the training course? This is kids stuff for me." Brandon asked.

"Call it payback for the 20 years you owe me." Sean said making him chuckle.

"Oh yeah." David said shooting him.

"OW!" Brandon yelled as it was revealed to be paint bullets making them chuckle. "Seriously?" Brandon asked.

"What? It's just paint." David said.

"I remember how much I hated when Dad put me through this crap as a kid." Brandon said.

"What this?" David asked shooting him several times. (I loved this in the Bumble bee movie)

"Ok enough." Brandon said as he cut himself down. "Ok...You enjoyed that way too much." Brandon said.

"For good reason. Ok next course set up now." David said as the next group was getting ready.

"Remind me again why we're doing this outside?" Brandon asked as he got his gear off.

"Doing everything in virtual reality is fine and all but it's better to do it in the field to remind ourselves of every possible outcome." Sean said.

"Fair." Brandon said.

"Now the Regime is finally defeated with only six members that escaped people are breathing easier." Sean said.

"Remind me again how did Zola and Destro escape? I thought we had them?" Brandon asked.

"We did after the war on Olympus. But Ultron unleashed everyone who was captured then and they managed to escape. Not much of a concern though. Now that most of the group has been killed or captured again the Regime is pretty much finished. They're still a high priority though." Sean said.

Later

"So now the Regime is nearly finished." Thanos said to Sean in hologram form.

"Nearly. There are still six members out there and it's important we do capture them. While alone or even together they pose no threat without their massive armies we can't risk them rising up again making a new generation suffer through their actions." Sean said.

"Agreed. But it could take years to find them." Thanos said.

"We have all the time we need." Sean said as he ended his transmission.

Maw however saw the look on his face.

"Something on your mind?" Maw asked.

"Mmm. I keep getting this nagging feeling about something." Sean said as Lane walked in.

"We might have a problem." Lane said.

"What is it? Regime left overs?" Sean asked.

"No. This has nothing to do with them. It's about Vilgax. We've been sweeping what was left of Olympus to make sure all the dead were recovered and we finally made it to where your last battle was." Lane said.

"It took this long?" Maw asked.

"Do you have any idea how big that place was? It took us half a year just to get through all that." Lane said.

"What is it?" Sean asked.

"We can't find Vilgax's body." Lane said.

"What do you mean you can't find it? All we found was an arm back then. He has to be dead." Sean said.

"But theres no body. And someone like that is difficult to miss." Lane said.

"So you think he's still alive? Where has he been these last six months?" Sean asked.

"Perhaps after his grand plans failed he had to recover first." Maw said.

"Possibly." Sean said.

"Or perhaps he had a backup plan and has been planning it for the last half year." Maw said.

"Ok...So what is it?" Sean asked.

"That is the question." Maw said.

Meanwhile

In deep space a warship was arriving at a specific location.

The Last Location Where Braniac and Darkseid were seen before both the former's base blew up killing the ruler of Apocalypse.

On the bridge of this warship were drones before one approached a tank of liquid and inside was Vilgax who was heavily wounded missing an arm and both legs while his face was heavily damaged.

"We have arrived at the location master."

"Good...Initiate the final phase." Vilgax said as his tank was taken to another room.

Down in a lab he looked outside seeing his drones collecting samples before something else was brought in.

The Remains of Darkseid himself.

"Commencing procedure." A Medical drone said as the whole room began to activate before his tank began to glow.

"This time Kruger...You will not survive." Vilgax said as his tank began to glow before he roared loudly as his whole lab exploded before the whole ship did as well.

Meanwhile

On Apocalypse the planet was still heavily divided.

Both sides were ready to destroy one another.

As they charged at each other though thats when a large explosion in the middle appeared.

In the middle stood what looked like Vilgax.

Only he looked very different than ever before.

Now having Grey Skin like Darkseid and Brainiac's technology on him as he glared at both sides.

"Who are you?" Granny Goodness asked.

"I...Am Darkgax. I was once Vilgax the Leader of the Regime and former disciple of Darkseid. Now I have merged with him and Brainiac. And now I come to all of you." Darkgax said.

"What are your plans?"

"To take revenge on the Legion for foiling my plans in conquering this universe. And to do that...We will invade the Earth itself with everything we have." Darkgax said.

"But that would violate our truce with New Genesis."

"Where do you think we'll be going next?" Darkgax asked.

Meanwhile

Sean sighed loudly as once again Omi was trying to get his sisters to date him.

"THE ANSWER IS FUCKING NO!" Dawn roared.

"Is he seriously doing this again?" Brandon asked.

"He's been doing this ever since you showed up again and he found out I let you go. You know what he said when he found out? That I was just as EVIL." Sean said making him snort.

"Really? And you haven't killed him because?" Brandon asked.

"FUCK YOU!" Dawn roared kicking him into a wall hard.

"That answer your question?" Sean asked.

"I challenge William Queen to a duel!" Omi yelled.

"Oh boy." Oliver said rolling his eyes.

"What?" Dawn asked getting a drink.

"I challange him to combat. Winner will take your hand in marriage." Omi said making her spit out her drink and coughed.

"But I'm more smarts than brawn." William said.

"HA! That means I win!" Omi yelled before yelling in pain as Sean pulled his ear.

"Ok thats it. How bout this. Let's have a little more friendly and actually fair contest." Sean said.

"Like what?" Oliver asked amused.

"A quiz." Sean said confusing Omi while William snickered.

"Quiz?" Omi asked.

"I'm gonna ask you some questions and both of you are gonna answer them. If Omi wins he can ask Dawn out." Sean said.

"WHAT!" Dawn roared.

"However...If William wins you are to stay the hell away from my sisters forever." Sean said making him grin.

"I will gladly accept and win this." Omi said.

"Oh boy." Clay said.

"He is so over his head." Kimiko said.

"Ok. Question one." Sean said as he sat in a chair before each had some harness on each other. "What is Dawn's favorite restaurant?" Sean asked.

"I did know she needed to have one. Women are supposed to accept wherever their lover takes them." Omi said making her glare at him in rage.

"Wow." Felicity said.

"Red lobster." William said.

"Correct." Sean said as Omi screamed as he was electrocuted. "Oh yeah I forgot to mention those things will shock you if you not only answer them wrong but piss me off." Sean said making him gulp while William chuckled.

"Oh he set him up to fail on purpose. Nice." Brandon said.

"Question number two. What does Dawn want to be the most in her life?" Sean asked.

"A woman does not need to have dreams. Just do what she is told." Omi said making her start snarling.

"She wants to be the head of the new Advancement division which improves better living in the less fortunate areas." Williams said.

"Correct." Sean said as Omi screamed again as he was electrocuted.

"Ok question number three. When did Dawn become a Ghost Rider?" Sean asked.

Omi opened his mouth before thinking on this real hard not wanting to be electrocuted again.

"Ah! The same day you did!" Omi yelled.

"On her thirteenth birthday with Sarah and Newt when Nasty Norc attacked." William said.

"Correct." Sean said as Omi screamed in pain again.

"But I didn't say anything bad this time." Omi moaned.

"I also said you would get zapped if you got it wrong which you did." Sean said as everyone laughed.

So William pretty much answered all the questions correctly while Omi on the other hand got all them wrong.

"Ok last question." Sean asked as Omi was twitching on the floor as William chuckled. "Where did Dawn get Lizzie From?" Sean said.

"Who's Lizzie?" Omi asked before she appeared and roared. "Oooh." Omi said before slumping in defeat.

"During the Rampage incident after you threw the cure at her, George and Ralph." William said.

"Correct." Sean said as Omi screamed in agonizing pain as he was zapped again before passing out with swirls in his eyes as everyone else burst out laughing.

"My hero." Dawn said kissing him making him chuckle.

"Nice work Will." Oliver said.

"Come on partner." Clay said picking Omi up.

"Ugh...I may have lost one...But Sarah will be mine." Omi said making her snort.

"Please...You're not my type. And I'm already in a relationship." Sarah said shocking him.

"What?" Sean asked looking at her. "Ok since when did either of you start dating?" Sean asked.

"If we told you about it you would have given the over protective brother speech." Dawn said.

"Not with him. I don't need to worry about William since he's got no mean bone in him and too nice because of Felicity." Sean said making her grin at Oliver who chuckled while Mia giggled. "So who are you dating?" Sean asked Sarah.

"Me."

Sean looked seeing Vision making him raise an eyebrow.

"Ok not what I was expecting but I can live with it." Sean said.

"But he is a machine!" Omi yelled.

"Better a machine than a sexist fuckhead." Sarah said making him moan in defeat.

"Cheer up buddy. Theres someone for everyone. You just gotta treat them right." Clay said.

"And stop using this stupid book." Kimiko said taking it out.

"Didn't I burn that?" Sean asked.

"I have copies." Omi said making him sigh.

"Dude. This book is a thousand years old. None of this is solid facts. Just some idiot who thinks women are meant to do what a man says." Sean said making him groan. "And besides. The deal was if Will won you are to stay FAR away from both of them." Sean said.

"But that is not fair." Omi said.

"I don't care." Sean said.

"Besides why would either of us be intrested in a yellow bald asshole who's afraid of squirrels?" Sarah said.

"I am not afraid of squirrels." Omi protested before seeing one behind him making him scream running away. "GET THIS BEAST AWAY!" Omi screamed not seeing it was a hologram from David making Brandon chuckle.

"How pathetic." Dawn said.

Thats when alarms went off.

"What the hell is going on now? Theres no way Those idiots could be pulling something off this quick." David said.

"It's not the Regime. We got Multiple portals opened up but they aren't like ours." Mister Terrific said.

"Wait a second. Boom tubes. But Apocalypse has been at war for close to five years." Sean said.

"Maybe someone finally took charge and united the planet." Brandon said.

"Who? Darkseid's son died when we got back to earth from the last time we were there." Sean said.

"Doesn't matter. I want everyone in the field right now!" Tom yelled.

"All away missions this is an immediate recall to Earth!" Lane yelled on comms calling everyone back.

"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Brandon asked.

"I would be surprised if no one did." Sean said.

"The Main ship is over Metropolis over the Daily Planet." Ross said.

"Clark, Bruce and Kratos are with me. The rest of you head on out everywhere else." Sean said as his armor appeared.

"I fear this may be Vilgax's doing." Kratos said.

"Only one way to find out." Sean said as they were teleported.

In DC

Hawkgirl, Atomic Skull, Captain America, Steel and Six-Shot arrived seeing the attackers before they started firing.

"I almost forgot how much I hate these guys." Hawkgirl said as she smashed her mace on them.

France

Lantern, Flash, Giganta, Iron man and Hulk arrived before they started attacking the enemy.

"Is it just me or do these guys feel very motivated?" Giganta asked.

"Nope not just you." Tony said blasting some back.

"Something is up." Lantern said

In Rome

Dr Light, Optimus Green Arrow, Spartan, Firestorm and Raiden fought against the enemy as well.

"Hold the line here!" Optimus yelled firing at them.

"Something doesn't feel right. I feel as if they are far more coordinated than before." Raiden said.

"Worry about that later." Green Arrow said.

China Great wall

Wonder Woman, Star Sapphire, Vigilante, Thor and Hela fought against the enemy.

"Whoever is commanding them here is doing better than Darkseid ever did." Thor said.

"We'll find out who later." Wonder Woman said.

Meanwhile

Sean and his team arrived at the Daily Planet before the Parademons attacked them.

Kratos pulled out his blades before slashing their heads right off.

"Who is leading them now?" Superman asked.

"Can't be Darkseid. He's long dead and I doubt Faust when he casted that resurrection spell brought him back." Sean said before the commanding ship opened up.

"We're about to find out now." Batman said as someone dropped down.

Darkgax was seen as he glared at them making them widen their eyes.

"Holy shit." Sean said.

"Hello...Kruger." Darkgax said.

"Vilgax?" Sean asked.

"No...I am not longer Vilgax nor the enemy you stopped years ago. I am Darkgax. I am the combination of both myself along with Darkseid and Brainiac. I am more powerful than ever before. And I have you to thank for that. You stopped my Regime and fully crushed it because of Lena foolishly believing she could change the universe to her liking. And Grodd was a fool but his mind was useful to me. And now that almost all are gone. I have control of Apocalypse." Darkgax said.

"Great so it's revenge you want. If I had a dollar for every time someone pulled that stunt. I'd be even richer." Sean said.

"Today is the day the Legion dies and not even Thanos can help you now. YOUR MINE!" Darkgax yelled as he charged at him before punching him down making a huge hole as everyone went down hard.

"Fuck." Sean said annoyed dusting himself off.

Meanwhile

In China Wonder Woman and her team continued to fight off against the enemy before tanks started rolling in.

"Lane we need some backup." Wonder Woman said.

"Can't help you in that regard. Troops are still pouring in from everywhere we got and the enemy is everywhere." Lane said.

"Just send someone." Wonder Woman said.

Thats when a portal opened up as Clone gunships arrived before unloading troops.

"GO GO GO!" Rex yelled.

Not far away was an old couple.

"I have to go." The man said.

"I know."

"Find Shelter. I'll be back as soon as I can." He said running off.

Meanwhile

Steel flew seeing some advanced machine drilling.

"Galvatron and Starcream got me close enough to get a good look. Those Big burrowing machines are Magma tappers." Steel said.

"They're trying to turn earth into an exact replica of Apocalypse just like when Darkseid invaded the first time over a decade ago." Talbot said.

Thats when Shin Godzilla appeared and roared before blasting it with Atomic breath causing it to blow up.

"Looks like the Titans know their a threat. Best chance to stop them is with them." Steel said.

In DC

Hawgirl yelled as she fought against a swarm of Parademons.

Thats when a portal opened up before Kong came out and started pounding his chest.

"Here comes the Calvary!" Atomic Skull yelled as he smashed through the enemy with little to no effort.

"Get that thing out of here!" Six-Shot yelled before Kong picked it up before throwing it at a capital ship making both blow up.

"Now thats more like it." Cap said throwing his shield.

"We still got a lot of bad guys to deal with." Hawkgirl said.

Meanwhile

In Paris GL and Flash were by the trench before Destroyah walked to the machine.

"Ok this should be good." Lantern said as he picked it up before throwing it at a capital ship.

"That will piss them off." Barry said smiling.

In Germany

Bucky fired at several enemies before they tried to ambush him.

Only for War machine to arrive shooting them up.

"Someone needs to get that machine out of here!" Rhodes yelled.

Thats when Komodo came out of the ground and roared before blasting it with Atomic breath making it blow up.

"That'll work." Brandon said shooting at the others.

Back in Metropolis

Sean and Kratos roared as they fought against Darkgax who quickly shot lasers from his eyes but they dodged and used his own troops as shields.

"Can't you see now! Nothing can stop me now! Not you! Thanos! Not even your ancestor the General could stop me now!" Darkgax roared.

"Lets agree to disagree." Sean said blasting him back as Superman charged in and gave him an uppercut that made him roar before punching him right out the building.

"RAAAAAGH!" Darkgax roared as the whole place came tumbling down as they got out quickly.

"He's stronger than before." Kratos said.

"With the combined powers of Darkseid and Brainiac I ain't surprised." Sean said as he came out of the rubble.

"Can you not see? I am more powerful than Ever. Not even Tennyson could stop me with full control of the Omnitrix!" Darkgax roared.

"Oh please. I have dealt with people no different in your current form who have spewed the same nonsense for years. And every time I beat them." Sean said.

"But never have you dealt with someone with the combined powers of three of the most dangerous. YOU WILL NOT WIN THIS TIME!" Darkgax roared.

"Oh we will."

"WHAT!" Darkgax yelled looking behind before getting blasted away.

Sean had his helmet down seeing who assisted them.

"No way." Superman said in shock.

"Surprised?"

"Jon?" Sean asked seeing Doctor Manhattan alive before Amazo also made himself known.

"We saw you both die." Batman said.

"We almost did. But when Kratos let loose the Power of Pandora it bonded with my remaining cells allowing me to reform months later and revive not only ourselves. But All who died in the last war." Doctor Manhattan said.

"Which means." Superman said.

"This battle just went in our favor again." Sean said as Dark Gax came out and roared in rage as he charged at them.

Meanwhile

T'challa was facing off against several parademons with one trying to sneak up behind him.

Only for him to get shot in the head making T'Challa look seeing.

"Hey Cuz." Killmonger said.

"Erik?" T'Challa asked in shock.

"Talk later." Killmonger said seeing more coming at them.

Meanwhile

Sub-Zero and his clan faced off against several Parademons before suddenly a blade went through some of them making them look seeing Cyrax.

"Cyrax?" Smoke asked.

"I'll explain later." Cyrax said.

Meanwhile

Wonder Woman continued to lead her troops into battle before noticing the old man approaching them.

"Get away from here. It's not safe!" Wonder Woman yelled.

"I'm here to help." He said as one approached him but got punched back.

"I appreciate your intentions..." Wonder Woman said before the one he punched flew into another as they looked down seeing him fight them easily. "Hera!" Diana said surprised before he turned into a dragon knocking them all down before flying to them before he turned into an all too familiar face.

"J'onn!" Wonder Woman yelled hugging him.

"Good to see you, Diana. I've got a lot to tell you about." J'onn said.

"I'd hate to break this nice moment up but we got incoming!" Star Sapphire yelled seeing more coming at them.

Only to be gunned down by pulse riffles making them look seeing Hicks and his team.

"Hicks?" Wonder Woman asked.

"Later." Hicks said as they went into battle.

Meanwhile

Darkgax roared as he fought against Kratos who roared punching him back into Sean who sent him up hard before Superman punched him down making a large hole.

"What does it take to kill him?" Superman asked.

"I've asked that question on all the major villains we've faced." Sean said as he came back out wounded before roaring as he charged at them again.

Only to get blasted back by Atomic breath making him roar in pain.

Thats when they saw Godzilla who snarled before roaring at him.

"I got an idea. How much of Pandora's power you got left?" Sean asked.

"Just a small amount." Doctor Manhattan said.

"I see where you're going with this." Batman said.

"As do I." Kratos said.

Darkgax groaned as he got up.

"I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED A SECOND TIME! I WILL NOT!" Darkgax roared.

"Oh put a cork in it." Sean said on top of Godzilla as Doctor Manhattan gave him the last of Pandora's power into the Titan King making him growl as his spikes began to power up.

"NOOOOOO!" Darkgax roared as Sean transferred his own power into the Titan making him glow brightly before opening his mouth.

"Say goodbye." Sean said as Godzilla blasted him with White Atomic breath.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Darkgax roared as he was reduced to nothing but ash slowly before he was disintegrated. Finally ending the combined might of three of the most dangerous beings in one go.

Godzilla roared in the air in victory as he powered up before sending out a blast all over the planet which killed all of the remaining enemies Darkgax controlled in one second.

"All forces are reporting in. The Invasion is over." Lane said.

"It's over." Sean said as Godzilla snarled.

Later

"I cannot believe we got back everyone we lost in the war against the Regime. Talk about a major win in one day." Reznov said.

"I don't suppose you could do something like that again when needed?" Silk specter asked.

"No...My power with the Power of Pandora is finished. And that is for the best. No one should ever have that much power." Jon said.

"I agree. And with this...The Last Major threat of the Regime is finished." Sean said.

"All thats left now is Thanos and when that war starts." Batman said.

"Thanos agreed once the Regime was fully crushed he would still give us time to spend time with those we care about. I know he's a man of his word. He'll keep it." Sean said.

"And we'll be waiting." Kratos said.

Author's Note: WHOOOOOOHOOO! Now that was an awesome chapter. Vilgax turned into Darkgax by merging with darkseid and Brainiac. Now Next Chapter is gonna be just as intense.
