I couldn't believe that I was girl. I didn't take it well. I mean I did pass out. I didn't know what was happening and I didn't know where I was. I assumed that I was still at school. It was quite possible that either Max or Cody had taken me to the nurse's office. When I woke up, I looked around and I assumed that I was exactly there. I also noticed that Max was there, but Cody was not. Maybe Cody went to his class or something.

"Max?" I asked. "What happened?"

I was pretty sure that I knew, but wanted to think that it was just a dream, but the fact my voice was still different made me pretty sure that I wasn't.

"You fainted." She answered. Yeah, that made me really nervous.

"I had this crazy dream." I stated. I was pretty sure it wasn't a dream, but I had just a small amount of hope. Maybe I was still dreaming. "This crazy Goth chick turned me into a girl."

"Zack, it wasn't a dream." Max explained. Okay now I was freaking out. "Please don't faint again. She really turned you into a girl. Everyone thinks your name is Zoey."

I started to hyperventilate a little as I stood up. Okay, maybe a lot.

"This isn't right. We have to tell people the truth." I declared. I didn't know who would believe me, but I felt like I needed to do it. At that point, Max slapped me.

"Calm down. This isn't the worst she could have done to you." She ordered as I rubbed the spot on my face. It really hurt. "Everyone but apparently me and Cody think you're a girl, you try telling them that you're a guy and they'll send you to the nuthouse."

That was probably not true. They would probably just send me to a therapist.

"But if everyone thinks I'm a girl, won't somebody notice that I have no idea how to act like a girl?" I asked. I didn't even know where to begin with that.

"I guess I'll have to help you." She replied with a sigh. I didn't think she really wanted to.

"You? But you're not exactly that girly." I responded. She wasn't butch or anything. I mean she still wore makeup, but she definitely not the picture of feminine in the dictionary. Actually, did the dictionary even have pictures anymore?

"Well, it's either me or Cody." She pointed out. Cody might be able to help me more, but it would probably be a lot more uncomfortable. I could see her point. "And you might be disturbed if you choose Cody."

When it came to Cody being feminine, it was a lot more than you would think. He once dressed as a girl to talk to a girl in a pageant. On the other hand, I didn't think that he was gay because he had multiple girlfriends and he had been with Bailey for a while.

"You'll probably have to talk to Cody about cheerleading though." She added. I couldn't believe that I was a cheerleader. Well, I supposed that was something that popular girls did. "I can't say that I really know a thing about it. Even though it is a sport, it's just not my thing."

"I'm really looking forward to that." I replied. Though, maybe I could at least give it a chance. I didn't like to judge these I had never tried before. "So. what are we going to do about this?"

"I don't know. We have no idea how to find that girl that did this to you." Max stated. She didn't seem to be very good at making me feel better. "She literally disappeared."

"No, I mean what are we going to do today?" I clarified. "I don't really wanna go to class like this."

"Okay I guess we can skip and begin your girl training." She suggested. I didn't know what she meant by girl training, but I had a feeling that I wasn't going to like it. I still didn't know how she was going to do that. I also didn't know what that would entail.

"So how are we going to do this?" I asked. "How do we escape since we're already here?"

"You're the one who's good at scheming here." She stated. I started to think to see if I could come up with something. It was a good thing that I was good at coming up with things on the fly. It was a skill that I was proud of.

"I've got it." I declared. "I'll tell the nurse that I'm feeling sick, and I want you to take me to the doctor. Maybe we can use one of your dad's notes."

"You're still the same." Max said with a smile. Was she expecting me to be different or something? "Hopefully we won't have to change any of that."
I didn't know what she meant by that.

So, when the nurse came back, I told her that I wasn't feeling well. We could probably use the fact that I had fainted as an excuse. I also thought that it wouldn't be a good idea for me to drive, so I wanted Max to take me. It was basically the exact thing that I had said.

The nurse seemed to buy it. Maybe it was people didn't expect me to be lying. I didn't really know anything about my life as a girl other than the fact that I was a cheerleader. One thing that I did know was that cheerleaders had to get pretty good grades. I just needed to have a C in all of my classes in order to stay on the basketball team but one of the cheerleaders that I had gone out with told me that she needed to have a B average to remain on the squad. At least at this school, I was pretty sure the stereotype of the dumb cheerleader wasn't true.

"So where are we going to go?" I asked Max once we got to her car.

"Probably the best place to go would be to the mall." She suggested. "You're going to need to get some clothes that are more girly and it's probably somewhere that we can lay low for a little while."

About fifteen minutes later, the two of us arrived at the mall, hoping that neither of us would be seen by anyone who would catch us skipping.

"So, what exactly are we going to do first?" I asked. I really didn't know the first thing about shopping.

"Well from what I understood, you're a fairly feminine person." She stated. "Contrary to popular belief, I know how to be feminine. I just choose not to because I like my image where it is right now. However, if I'm truly going to teach you, I'm going to need some new clothes."

"So where are we going then?" I inquired. I was a bit surprised by her statement, but she was still a girl, so it wasn't that much of a surprise.

"Abercrombie and Fitch." She responded. "Maybe you should get some clothes too. You probably have some, but you need to learn how to walk in both jeans and skirts/dresses. You also need to learn how to walk in heels."

"I've never seen you wear heels." I replied. I felt like there was a whole side to her that I might not know about.

"Trust me I know how to walk in heels." She remarked. There was definitely a secret side to her that I definitely wanted to know more about. "I'm not proud that I do but I do. I'll let you in on a secret. You know how I'm gone for the first Sunday of every month?"

"Yeah." I answered. I was curious to see where this was going to go.

"My parents make me go to these debutante balls." She responded. Okay, that was not I was expecting her to say. "It is pure torture. I have to wear these expensive dresses and heels all night long and I have to dance with these despicable guys who are only looking for a trophy girlfriend to make their trophy wife."

"Okay, that does sound like it sucks." I commented.

"Let's just buy some clothes." She declared. She didn't sound very happy about it. She might have been less thrilled about it than I was, and she was the one who was born a girl.

Since I didn't know what I was doing, I decided to let her choose for me. She also ended up choosing something for herself for some reason. She probably didn't need to get any new clothes. Anyway, she had chosen a green tee shirt and jeans. I was actually expecting worse. We both each went into stalls that were right next to us each other. I slowly took off my dress and put on the shirt first. I then started to put on the jeans…which was a lot harder than I thought it would be. This was gonna be a problem.

"Max, I think I need some help." I called over to her. I heard stall open and her walk out before she knocked on the door.

"You're not naked, are you?" She asked. Why would I be naked? She didn't give me any underwear to try on.

"No" I answered with a blush before she opened the door and came inside.

"What's wrong?" She asked. I was surprised that she couldn't figure it out.

"I can't get these damn jeans on." I complained. "Why do girls wear jeans so tight?"

"You're asking the wrong girl that." She stated. You know it was getting a little annoying how she kept saying that she wasn't like other girls. "But I think I can help you. Put your legs in first.

After a few minutes, we were able to get the jeans up to where they needed to be. Combined with the shirt at least an inch of midriff was shown. I looked at myself in the mirror and I was impressed.

"I look good." I commented. At least I was a pretty girl, even I didn't want to be.

"You do." She agreed "Now I have something else I need to put on."

She headed back to her stall and put on some shoes. Then we both headed back into the main part of the store. Did it have a special name? Was that something that I would need to know as a girl?

"So now we need to pay for this stuff and then I'll teach you how to walk like a girl." She declared. What did she mean walk like a girl? Was I already not walking like a girl?

We headed to the register and paid. Max insisted on paying for me, even though I was capable of doing it myself. Her family was super rich, likely so rich I didn't even know what her mom did.

"I could have paid for that." I replied as we left the store. "I have money."

"I know you do, but I wanted it to my treat. If you want, I'll let you pay for lunch." She offered. Hopefully where she wanted to eat wouldn't cost more than the clothes. "Let's just do a little bit of walking and then we can go get something."

So, Max and Zoey bonded a little bit on their shopping trip. The two of them are starting to get to know each other better. How will things develop from here? Please don't forget to review.
