Hey folks, Dream here and sorry for the late update but life and writers block has not been kind to me

But thank you all for your favorites and follows and reviews I hope you enjoy

My newly gained skills were… blunt.

For one, Gravity Manipulation was exactly what it sounded like. It gave me the power to adjust the gravity of the physical world around me.

I couldn't wait to pull a Pein and go all Shinra Tensei on whoever the fuck I wanted.

I sat there on the floor of one of my Palace bedrooms in my ID, I took a deep breath and altered the gravity of the room-

"0x Gravity."

canceling it.

The weightlessness took hold as I and everything in the room detached from the ground and drifted around aimlessly, my overly extravagant bed and my countless decorations floated off and collided.

I laughed.

There went ever not flying.

And I didn't even need to use my natural abilities to achieve it.

"10x Gravity."

Bang!

Everything in the room crashed to the floor, and some broke under the pressure of 10 times their weight.

I felt the change immediately, everything I did took a little more effort. I took a step and realized my whole body was heavier but I could move with ease, I took flight and was still moving easily.

Now Gravity Manipulation was cool and all but the true treasure lay in Energy Manipulation and Matter Manipulation.

"Haha….hahaha…hahahahahahaha!"

Do you know what I could do with this?

I clapped my hands and put them to the space in front of me and-

"Matter Manipulation."

I excited the oxygen particles in the air and with a snap reminiscent of one of my aliases the room exploded into flame.

The flames raged and I just stared at the flickering and crackling flames, the heat they produced was comforting, and the sight was mesmerizing.

With a quick wave of my hand, I dispersed the flames and left the smell of smoke and ash heavy in the air.

Matter Manipulation Leveled Up by 1!

I dismissed the notification with a thought.

I looked at my other skill, Energy Manipulation.

Now energy was a broad subject so I would assume that it is a wide power. I picked up one of the remaining pieces of the lumber that composed my bed and threw it up into the air. I watched it climb up and up into the air and reach its peak before starting its descent, and then I-

"Energy Manipulation."

The piece of lumber was suspended in the air, I had removed the kinetic energy from it leaving it in the air never to fall

"Energy Manipulation."

Clack!

It fell to the floor and the noise echoed around the empty room.

Now on the subject of my new abilities my Intelligence and Wisdom stat have FUCKING SKYROCKETED.

I don't know how but they are both EX ranked but I don't feel any smarter or wiser, maybe I can toggle it on -

Quest Unlocked!

I stared at the message quizzically.

The Bigger Fishes In The Pond

Your sudden transformation did not go undetected by the inhabitants of this universe, they all felt the energy you released when you assembled with the Mother Box. Now they have come to retrieve what was rightfully theirs.

I tilted my head to the side in confusion. They?

BOOM!

A distant boom shook the floor, and distant screams of Flaxens reached my ears.

"What the hell?" I asked.

I opened my window and shot out to look at the commotion– that's when a building flew into me.

XXXX

Heaps and piles upon piles of bodies lay on the floor all appearing to be dismembered by some sort of animal, they were mutilated and upon closer inspection the reason for their possibly agonizing deaths was visible, they were ripped apart at the seams. Some did not have arms or heads, or their torso were missing or their legs were thrown away like a piece of cut lamb.

What the hell is happening? A Flaxen asked his heart as he hid beneath the counter of the store he was in. The head of the owner stared unblinking and soullessly into his soul.

Step.

He muffled a whimper with his hands and prayed to His Majesty to let him make it out with his life.

Step.

"I know you're here." The voice was female but spoke a soothing voice that promised nothing but- Deathdeathdeathdeathdeathdeathdeath.

Step.

Sweat trailed down his forehead and pores and he was shaking viciously he wanted to move hide live another day but he knew if he made so much as a single movement his life would come to an end.

Step. Crash!

The counter was thrown away and his back was to the… the genocider. He felt a hand grab his neck and pick him up like he was a feather then-

BOOOOM!

XXXX

Mark hovered over the city, or the remnants of it. The city was destroyed and all he could see were broken and destroyed buildings, craters smoke rising and bodies upon bodies of Flaxens.

His Flaxens.

His citizens.

He took a deep breath and looked around the booms were still ongoing and the cause were blurs of white.

From his perspective, they were just flying humans. But humans don't fly.

Wait, it can't be right?

Apokolips? Darkseid?

What? No. No, this can't be.

He zoomed into a city and left it to rubble within 30 seconds.

The corpses were left in his wake. The people trapped under buildings and the ones scurrying away.

Snap.

WRATH.

I rocketed to him and he turned around to look at the cause of the noise and was met with a gut-wrenching punch that sent him out of the air and tumbling head over heels as he rocketed to the ground with spittle and blood flying out his mouth as he made a crater with his impact on the ground.

He shook off the punch as he waved away the massive cloud of dust and looked for me.

He saw me hovering above him and he grinned. He was a blond head with a thick mustache and an orange visor covering his eyes, he was clothed in a white garb with 2 flaps that stopped at the knees covering the front and back of his lower body

"Ah, so it was you, I didn't know you were a Viltrumite though but this is a mighty fine empire you've conquered for us." He said with a cold and bloodied smile.

"For us? This is mine. I made this my own and this is not for "us"." I said in a dry tone.

"Oh? Maybe you do not understand your situation. Apokolips sensed a mother box here and they sent me and my partner. I am Vidor of Apokolips. If you choose to oppose us you will not survive." He warned.

I scowled. "Maybe you don't understand. All this destruction is because of you and your accomplice. All the lives lost are because of you. I can't properly describe the anger I am feeling right now. Leave." I hissed.

"No." He stated.

"Very well," Mark stated

The air behind me imploded inwards and released a thunderclap in my wake and the air in front of me offered little to no resistance to my speed.

My fist lunged forward and with all the power of a bomb so did his. They met with a shockwave of pure pressure as though Titans were clashing. The resulting winds blew the rubble and debris in every direction as the stalemate continued with Vidor's fist and met Mark's face.

-671,177HP!

During my whole time in this universe, I just now understood something that intrigued me. I've never fought someone of comparable strength.

Strong. Dangerous.

Before I could finish my thought physics took hold and I went catapulting backward into a building as my face exploded in pain. I tried balancing myself with eyes full of tears. I saw him rushing towards me, arm cocked back and I rushed to the side to avoid the strike, not a moment too soon as the building broke clean in half and the top half crashed to the ground.

I sped through the sky and-

"Universal Pull."

In an instant, the air itself seemed to ripple and distort as an invisible force surged forth from my hand.

The gravitational pull was immediate and inescapable. Buildings, rubble, and debris were wrenched from their positions, hurtling towards me with a terrifying velocity. The very ground beneath them trembled and groaned, torn apart by the irresistible force. Trees bent and snapped like twigs, their splintered remains drawn into the vortex.

Vidor felt his body moving without his command and in an instant, he was launched towards me along with almost everything in the area but I focused in on him and flew towards him while he flew to me.

My fist crashed into his face with a crunch as I felt the broken nose beneath my fist and he rocketed backward. I didn't let him get far as I grabbed his foot and tossed him to the heavens. He oriented himself and flew down to me and I put my guard up and blocked the strike. My arms screamed in pain but I pushed through it and focused.

I held his arm and headbutted him again but he yanked his arm flung me off and grabbed me by my leg before tossing me to the ground.

-23,192HP!

I impacted and made a deep crater and before I could get up he was there on top of me. His punch flew to my face and blood flooded my mouth. He punched again harder than the last and my teeth and brain rattled.

The pain was blinding but the hate and contempt kept me conscious. The anger I held was burning white hot in me and I was furious at him, but more at myself my weakness and that kept me awake and fighting.

He wound up for a last punch but I spat blood in his face and booted him off me.

I grabbed his leg and smashed him to the floor like a human would swat a fly, and then I raised him and slammed him again and again until he resembled a whack-a-mole. Before he was tossed aside to the ruins of the city into a building.

A roar of rage followed him. A massive kick connected with Vidor sending him through the city like a shot and destroying whatever remaining structures stood.

He coughed up blood and shot back into the fight but Mark with speed invisible to the common observer rushed to him and with such speed the air around him burned with sheer friction.

The broken and battered form of Vidor was visible as he pushed off a massive piece of rubble with blood streaming from his face as looked possibly enraged.

"I'll say this one last time. Leave." I warned him once more.

His response was a bestial roar as he took off.

His fist flew and morphed into an ocean of fists. The air vibrated and shook with the sound of thunder in the sky.

Each fist laid in my body before being replaced with 3 more.

COMBO!

Total Damage

-921,781HP!

"Kneel."

He made an impact with the floor as though gravity had multiplied and it did.

I put my foot on top of his head and applied force gradually… gradually- I

"Please stop, stop, I'll leave!" He pleaded.

I stopped, for a moment.

"You as a Viltrumite begging for your life? Shameful." I sneered.

My foot shattered his skull and cratered the ground beneath him. I could feel the pieces of his skull sticking to my foot and the ambiguous pieces of brain matter and blood dripped off my foot.

For the repeated action of killing by stomping on someone's head, the title

Skull Crusher

Has been granted!

A smile escaped my lips.

During this whole fight I had barely pulled through, I had to use gravity manipulation to boost my strength and speed.

I-

A knife was now shoved in my back and I was kicked into the sky.

"Ahhh!" I screamed in pain. I hurriedly looked around for the person responsible. I had forgotten about his partner.

She was blue-headed with her hair weaved into a braid ending in a knife, she was dressed in the same outfit as the viltrumite before.

I was tired of this bullshit.

She flew towards me and tried striking me but-

"Almighty Push."

An invisible blast of pure gravity erupted with me at the epicenter. The air and clouds were dispersed and the ground and debris were hurled like playthings, the air seemed to twist and warp with the immense pressure, and then it exploded, and she was sent back to the ground with a deep crater.

"Universal Pull."

She was snatched from her spot on the ground like God willed it be and was flying to me. Her face was of pure confusion and fear.

I flew with everything I had and cocked my hand back and unleashed it and with an a-

Boom! Crack! Snap!

Her head was severed from her body as they both dropped to the ground.

Blood flowed down my face and into my eye. My hand was broken, my chest ached and each breath I took was agony.

I looked around at the cities.

My cities.

The hollow cries of children lost looking for their parents, people beneath rubble desperate for rescue, the flames overtaking the atmosphere, blotting out the sun.

My body ached and black was encroaching on the corners of my vision.

During this battle I realized something. We were not human. They were not human. So why am I behaving as a human? No one in this universe would pity me because I possessed trivial things such as morals, or a conscious.

I lowered myself to the floor and took a look around and felt a tug on my hand. A child was there at my side pulling on my hand.

"Sire? Where's my mother?" She whispered.

I said not a word and picked her up.

I floated up to be seen by any survivors.

I let words just spill from my mouth like I was a prophet from heaven.

"Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, we stand amidst the rubble and ruins of a city that once thrived with life and vibrancy. Our hearts are heavy with the weight of loss and the memories of what once was. But in this moment of despair, we must remember that our city's spirit is not defined by its buildings or streets, but by the people who call it home."

The survivors crawled out of the destruction like maggots out of a carcass and looked up to me like a God.

"History has shown us that cities, like your spirit, are resilient. From the ashes of destruction, there always rises a new dawn of hope and renewal. This city, our city, has faced its darkest hour, but it is in these moments of adversity that our true strength is revealed." I took a deep breath and continued. The girl in my arms squirmed and I held her tighter and she clung to me like a child.

"We are the lifeblood of this city. It is our dreams, our perseverance, and our unity that will rebuild and restore what has been lost. Let us honor the past by building n even brighter futurean even brighter future. Let us remember that every stone we lay, and and every effort we make, is a testament to our resilience and our determination.

Let us move forward with courage and conviction, knowing that the future we build today will be the foundation for generations to come. Together, we will transform this tragedy into triumph, and from the ruins, we will create a city that is stronger, more beautiful, and more vibrant than ever before.

And in the ruins of this city, it will now be anointed Amestris."

Congratulations!

Frozen on the screen was an image. The image of a boy- a teenage boy. In-flight, face bloodied and bruised but with a scowl scarring his face and bloodshot eyes rearing back for a punch.

The room was deadly silent. No one moved. No one breathed. No one made a noise.

"How?"

A voice rumbled.

The source of it was one of the most powerful people in the universe, Darkseid, he was an imposing figure with rock-like skin and eyes the color of blood red. Beneath those eyes were an endless pit of power and strength and a mix of something…Lovecraftian.

"My liege," a raspy and dry voice rang out.

"How did this worm escape our radars?"

A gaunt, sinister figure with a pale, almost deathly complexion. Desaad. His face has a twisted, cruel expression, and his sunken eyes reflect his sadistic and crazed nature. He wore a dark, hooded robe or cloak, and stood by Darkseid.

"We don't know My Liege."

ZHOOM!

No one flinched or moved as Darkseid's eyes brightened from the usage of his power and he shifted his gaze from where Desaad was imprinted on the wall.

"That was not my question."

He looked at the screen once more.

"How did this worm escape our radars?"

He looked at the screen.

"Round up all of them to my throne room."

Desaad muffled a moan of pain and nodded to his lord.

"Yes, My Liege."

The rebuilding was going to be a tedious effort, but the use of the Iron Man Suits made it easier.

The worst was counting the death toll and the damages inflicted.

I looked and took a deep breath to remind myself of who I was. This was only a temporary setback, more treasure was to come in the future.

Now onto the most pressing pickle of information.

The Viltrumites were conquered by Darkseid and were the property of Apokolips.

I had so many questions, like when? Why?

How would Darkseid of all people conquer the Viltrumites?

And speaking of him, he needed to go.

I want him gone.

He sends his forces into my empire and destroys it.

He dared. No this would not go unanswered, he will pay. I swear it.

But the most pressing issue was the fact I needed to get stronger.

Bio
"Mark" Sebastian Grayson is the most solitary alien warrior who has the goal to conquer all. To do this he isn't rushing, he will live for thousands of years and he will use technology and magic to ensure his immortality. He has conquered the Flaxans and their neighboring worlds, He has an empire, and a powerful one at that. Mark plans to have fun while doing this and will use his frugal wealth and power to achieve whatever else he wants.

Pitiful.

All my strength and speed are pitiful in front of members of my own race.

I had been overwhelmed- insanely so and almost lost my life due to it. I had no idea why I thought this universe was an easy road to the top, if anything it was more dangerous than DC or the Invincible comics. And here there were beings with thousands of years of experience and near-infinite times stronger than me.

I was an ant. Microscopic and at the bottom of the cosmic barrel. If this was the strength of fodder- then what about the Justice League?

I smiled.

I needed to become stronger.

I first optimized my nervous system- I know it's a little dangerous right?

I needed to figure out how I would do it.

XXXX

Ok, I had figured it out.

My strategy was to enhance my nervous system would revolve around refining my brain's neural architecture and biochemical processes. I would optimize synaptic connections to expedite signal transmission between neurons, boost brain metabolism for quicker information processing, and fine-tune neurotransmitter levels to improve cognitive functions. By stimulating specific neural pathways associated with rapid cognition and reducing neural noise, I could enhance mental clarity and focus, leading to swifter thought processes. Manipulating brain waves and promoting neuroplasticity would further accelerate learning and adaptation while integrating external information sources directly into neural networks could provide instantaneous access to vast knowledge pools.

"Matter Manipulation."

My world changed- intrinsically changed.

Supreme Skill Unlocked!

Perception

Your speed of thought is now multiplied by millions of times. The speed of thought was already insane but now it is God-Like, you can now react, think, and process beyond light-speed this is also partially due to the mother box in your physiology. But this is a special type of hell if not controlled properly, you can now be frozen thinking in your head for years from your point of view. Years of rotting away in your mind- conscious but your body can not quite catch up.

My brain had become a supercomputer.

The effect was immediate. I hadn't been expecting it to be, so it came as a surprise when my mind suddenly expanded in a way I never imagined possible.

I almost fell to my knees as I felt my understanding of the world grow infinitely wider in a fraction of a second. Until now I had been limited to know only what I could see, smell, hear, touch, and taste. But now, for reasons that were only partially understood by me, my awareness was being forcibly expanded.

It felt like my brain was growing inside my head, expanding outward and beating itself against my skull. It was actually so overwhelming that it was physically painful for a second, but only a single second. Unfortunately during that second, which felt like an eternity, my mind felt like it was on fire.

The pain was so agonizing that it caused tears to form in my eyes. Hot, wet tears filled my vision and made it blurry.

In the aftermath of the agonizingly long second, I watched as the world came to a still.

I squinted my eyes and I could suddenly see. Everything in my view came into view with so much detail and clarity that I was taken aback for a second. I looked at the wall and saw the minuscule cracks and texture and roughness of it, the colors were so much more vivid.

I blinked a couple of times to adjust my eyes and grinned.

XXXX

He was…majestic.

He was such a figure that merely looking at him caused a sense of inspiration in all, a sense of happiness, security, and peace.

The way he carried himself like he was a king, a deity. He flew like one and the strength he possessed- oh his strength. He carried pillar after pillar of stones that weighed tons like they were a children's Lego and he was powerful. Powerful in ways that made her pray for their enemies.

But he was odd though. From the stories that were told to her, he was a being from far beyond the stars who came at a time of war between them and their neighboring planets, and he offered salvation like he was a…God.

He brought peace to the system and then in return, he was dubbed an Emperor.

He saw her gaze from around the bend of the corner and smiled, she felt her heart nearly beat out of her chest.

"Lyris, why don't you come from there?" His voice was smooth and angelic, and his soft sweet voice wrapped and entranced her.

She remembered when he came and saved her life even though he was almost at the end of his due to the battle he fought. And then in spite of the previous injuries he floated up and talked to them, his citizens, and lit a fire in all to never stop and keep persevering.

She took a deep breath and stepped out from her location before appearing in front of him. He picked her up, wrapped her in his hands, and embraced her like his own child.

Her heart melted and her blood rushed to her cheeks and a smile broke across her lips.

He kissed her cheeks and she did not know that a simple act of affection could grant such bliss.

He smiled back down at her and set her down on the ground before retreating into his bedroom.

She felt empty and cold for a moment, as though someone had removed the warm blanket around her heart.

Oa

Hal Jordan liked to think of himself as a man of patience, but that patience could disappear very quickly.

"Guardians, please the whole universe has sensed that blast. For all we know there could be someone manipulating reality itself- but you would have us sit here and do nothing?"

They were eerily silent. The assembled council of the guardians were watching and contemplating in silence.

One spoke up.

"Hal, that is not your decision to make-"

"I'll be damned if it's not! The universe could be at stake right now and I have no say in the matter. Bullshit" Hal interjected roughly,

"Be mindful of your tongue, Lantern." The guardian in question warned.

Hal took a deep breath and thought it out logically, He was quickly getting annoyed at the fact that he apparently wasn't allowed to search for the cause of what was obviously a mother box. He knew that the major cosmic forces were already moving in on the location while he just sat here idle. He knew it had something to do with Earth so he was confused as to why the ring detected the same energy signature in another quadrant.

He was quickly getting annoyed.

"Understood." Was the quick and curt reply.

He quickly launched off the planet and was making his way back to Earth
