Chapter III

Come morning Naruto awoke to the smell of food being cooked strange since she was pretty sure she only had ramen in stock. But what hit her nose was bacon, eggs, and fresh orange juice. Naruto remembered last night, boy did she remember last night it was perfect, her first real experience of having sex and she wasn't ashamed of it.

"Good Morning Naru-chan I hope you don't mind me cooking for you." Came Temari's older and more mature voice.

Seriously what did Temari see in Naruto wasn't she scared of the Kyubi sealed inside Naruto.

"Why aren't you scared of me?" Naruto asked, her voice meek and timid sounding more like Hinata than the loud girl Konoha knew her for.

"You're like Gaara right? Well I long since learned that those with the curse of being jinchuriki live lonely lives. Gaara was twisted by our father's lust for power. But you're different, you radiate with an energy that says you refuse to be held back by anything." Temari explained. "Oh and I hope you realize last night wasn't a one night thing we're dating now."

Naruto smirked of course last night wasn't a one time deal it was too good to be.

"What about the fact we're from different villages? Wont distance hinder our relationship?" Naruto asked.

"Not really. I trust you not to break my trust by sleeping with others besides I didn't steal your virginity last night. Yes we had sex but you're still a virgin." Temari said. "When the time comes I will claim what's mine until then enjoy your new life as my girlfriend."

"Why didn't you take my Virginity?" Naruto asked.

"Simple I want that to be special and not just a night filled with lust." Temari answered. "Now come eat."

Naruto didn't need to be told twice to eat. She loved food and she liked home cooked meals best. Getting out of bed still nude she walked over to her dining table and sat down as a plate of food was set before her.

XxXWith Naruto's TeamXxX

Naruto arrived at a local coffee shop, one of the few places that didn't throw her out even if she was with her team. Naruto was on a team with Hyuga Hinata and Aburame Shino, two of her classmates that didn't have anything against her for being a jinchuriki. Shino was the first to take note of her arrival and her new cheerful aura.

"Hello Naruto, you seem to be doing better today. Why do I say this? Because my beetles can sense your aura, they say something is different." Shino said in his usual manner.

Then Hinata of all people saw it, a blemish on Naruto's otherwise flawless skin. Right on her neck, a purple spot made by another person, someone who shared Naruto's bed.

"Sh-Shino Naru-chan spent the night with someone." Hinata said in her timid voice, jealous that it wasn't her Naruto slept with.

"Oh well then that would explain the change." Shino said.

Just then Kurenai, Team Eight's Jonin Squad Leader, walked in and made her way to her team.

"Good you're all here. Now then I am sure you have all heard that Shinobi from other villages have started to arrive in Konoha. Before you ask why I will tell you. They are here for the Chunin Exams. The Chunin Exams are a chance for genin to advance in rank as a Shinobi." Kurenai explained.

'Wait if Temari was here for the exams and is still a genin even though she is older than me how hard are these exams?' Naruto thought to herself.

"I have put you three forward as candidates in these exams. You all have the potential you just need to take charge and prove to everyone you belong here." Kurenai said smiling. "Now then the exams begin in one week and we will get you three as ready as we can."

"Those other teams don't stand a chance against team eight." Naruto said loudly.

Kurenai smirked, leave it to Naruto to be overly excited.

"So what's our first move, Kurenai-sensei?" Naruto asked.

"Training." Kurenai replied to her blonde student.

XxXOne Week LaterXxX

One week passed and Naruto didn't have much free time but she did manage to see Temari a few times during the week. Finally the time had arrived and Naruto walked up to Konoha's Ninja Academy and met her team. It was time. Naruto and team entered the academy and made their way to room 301 ready to face anything that could be thrown at them. Once in the room Naruto, Hinata, and Shino saw just how many participants there were in the exams.

"N-Naruto there are so many." Hinata said a bit scared.

"Relax Nata-chan, we're better than any of them." Naruto said confidently.

"Y-you're right Naruto." Hinata said.

Just then Naruto felt a familiar chakra from the corner of the room, it was Temari and her brothers. Walking over to them Naruto smiled. Naruto liked Gaara and Temari but was put off by Kankuro for some reason.

"Hey Mari-chan, hey Gaara." Naruto said cheerfully.

"Hello Naruto." Gaara said emotionlessly.

It wasn't as if Gaara lacked emotions he just didn't know how to express them so he usually just shut them off when dealing with people. Hinata walked over to see who Naruto was talking to and met Gaara eye to eye and instantly Gaara blushed slightly and Hinata was as red as a tomato. Both Naruto and Temari saw this and smiled.

"Nata-chan this is Gaara and Temari. Temari is my girlfriend and Gaara is her brother." Naruto said introducing Gaara and Temari.

"Hello." Gaara said in his monotone voice.

Hinata heard his voice, emotionless yet still so sure of himself that he demanded respect and fainted right there on the spot. Naruto caught Hinata as she fainted to save her from doing harm to herself but she couldn't help but smile. Gaara wasn't sure why but he found Hinata very cute and wanted nothing more than to make her his but he wanted to do things right and not how some would say be the brutal way of dominating a weaker partner. Hinata came to and noticed she had been seated in a chair by Naruto and saw Gaara standing nearby not looking at her but she could tell he was standing watch over her.

Just then a smoke bomb exploded and in front of the gathered genin stood Morino Ibiki head of Konoha's T&I Department.

"Alright maggots one at a time come forward and get your seat number."

A/N: Hey all Azrael here with a new chapter to Chakra Beasts. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and I know I didn't cover the first exam as I feel its over done and honestly it won't change much from canon in this story even though we see Naruto is clearly smarter than she was in canon. Anyway I hope you like the interaction between Hinata and Gaara. I felt it would be cute to have Hinata like Gaara since he doesn't get much love in my opinion.
