Place: The Scott's house-Lucky's room

Lucas (knocking on the door): May I come in?

Lucky (opening the door): Yes, Daddy

Lucas (sitting down on the bed): Are you still upset about the game?

Lucky (sitting down beside Lucas): Yes

Lucas: You did your best tonight. I am very proud of you. You will always be a champion to me.

Lucky: What if I fail next time around?

Lucas: I will love you and support you no matter what. You shouldn't put a lot of pressure on yourself.

Lucky: I have Down Syndrome. Sometimes I wonder why I was born this way.

Lucas (becoming emotional as he holds Lucky's hand): You are a miracle. Your mom and I were not sure if you would survive outside the womb or live a normal life. The doctor gave you a death sentence. You have proven him wrong.
